Phoenix Electricians Today

I appreciated the whole experience from start to finish.  The dispatch was friendly and helpful. My service call was only $39 to diagnose the electrical issue I was having.  If I decided to have them repair it and review the quote for said repair, the electricians have all the supplies in their van and the service call fee would be waived/included in repair price.

I received an email with the picture of my electrician, Dennis Parker. He was accompanied by an apprentice.  They were right on time. Very professional and nice. I proceeded to show them the outlet that I was having issues with. After a series of questions and me showing them where my fuse box was, they went straight to work.  Pretty straight-forward issue.  They ran tests, replaced the entire outlet box. Ran tests again. They even ran a test on the transformer that needs to be plugged into that outlet to show me everything was good to go.

I also will have a couple of electrical outlets that will need to be installed at a later date. Dennis reviewed the areas with his apprentice and wrote up the quotes for me.

They asked if there were anything else they could assist with regarding my electrical items that needed repair. They were very thorough.

They accept all major forms of payment, credit cards, check, Amex. There is also a 10% military discount.

I had one of my security lights stop working because the ballast was bad and also one of the light in my house has two ways switches and it had stopped working correctly.  I called Phoenix Electricians Today and Dennis came out and fixed both problems in very short time and did a really good job.  I have used them twice and both times I was really pleased with their service and work...

Excellent Customer Service. Had an emergency this morning (Sunday morning) and the owner, Dennis, went WAY and ABOVE the call of duty. He went and opened his store to give us a much needed fuse that we could not find locally anywhere since yesterday and caused our store to run at reduced power. We are back up and running because of Dennis. We highly recommend this small local owned business.

Amazing team to work with.  Friendly, professional and I was lucky enough to get same day service.  Very highly recommended and I will call them again.  I've actually scheduled another project with them already.

I had to write to brag about my experience with Joe Lake of Phoenix Electricians Today. What a great job he did on my kitchen lighting! He installed above and below counter LED lighting.. I now have excellent task lights to see everything I make... (oh no!!!) and color changing strip lighting above to distract people if my food doesn't come out the way I hoped it would.
His work is beautiful and he's personable and so knowledgable. He gave me many ideas for future projects and i can't wait to have him back. I would highly recommend them for all your electrical needs.

Called this company on Friday the 21st about repairing a conduit that disconnected from the main box. The person who handled the call was very professional and sounded willing to help. Asked him for a quote and he had me text him some photos. Once he got those he was going to give them to his electrician to take a look and give me an estimate. I waited a few hours without hearing back and once I did they decided they needed to come out to the project and take a look which I was fine with.

Later that afternoon around 3pm someone showed up to take a look. I talked to the tech and he said it was going to be a tough job and require a lot of work and digging to repair. Asking him how much it would cost and he quoted me $1500 for the repair. I said wow, that seems high, I had another company quote me $400. His response is what gave this company 2 stars. His response was well I'd go with that then. Really that's your response. Ok professionalism was lost at that point and he clearly felt no reason to give an explanation why his quote was so much higher.

I asked him to write something up and give it to me so I could compare the work and he said they get something over to me later. I've already told them it I was a time sensitive issue so was hoping to get something soon, nothing never came. Not a follow up call, not a text with a quote, nothing.

I had the other company out this morning Monday 7/24 and they repaired it and for their quoted estimate. I don not recommend this company. If you do use them call around and get many quotes.

Had Dennis come to my house (on Saturday) to give me a quote on getting an A clip repaired. He told me it would be $300-500 if he could get the part (because the electrical panel was so old) and send me a quote on Monday. However, on Monday I had an electrician from my home warrenty company come out to see if it was covered (they later denied the claim) but since Dennis came on Monday (with no communication that he would be returning) he didn't send me the quote (as if I was cheating on him). I called him a few days later to see what happened and he said he was able to get the part but he was out of town and would have Joe call me instead. Joe called and said the job would now be $1500.

Not sure what kind of switcheroo they were trying to pull but poor communication and follow up. Did not have service done with their company.

After leaving a message on the phone with a live person around 630am, Dennis called me and said he could have a tech there between 8-9am......Tell me what company can offer that type of service?????? No one can except this company!!!!! Joe showed up between the time stated and was very professional.

I told him my issue with our breaker box and did some troubleshooting with our ceiling fan but before he did any work he gave me an upfront price and no fluff.  

Joe is very knowledgable about his job and is an asset to this company!!!!

Thank you Dennis for returning my call so quickly as I had another company call while your tech was enroute to my house, but I am so glad Joe showed up.  I will be using your company in the future for any electrical jobs or issues.

FYI Yelp Readers.......Go with a family owned business like this one and you will get quality/exceptional service with a smile and intergrity!!! Go with a large company you wont receive any of that or if your lucky a call back days later like I did.....

Did a great job installing new box, outlet, and light fixtures.  Professional, friendly, clean.

We had Dennis and Vince at our parents' very old house that had a lot of ekectrical problems. They worked wonders and got things working again. Very professional and great work. We are going to use them again whenever we need electrical work done.

We are selling our house and had a few electrical issues on the inspection report that needed to be addressed. Jonas B. Showed up on time, and prepared to evaluate our situation. He went over all our options with us to fix the problems, and explained our options very clearly. We came to an agreement, he gave me a price in writing, and scheduled us for the next day because we are closing on our house Tuesday. Jonas showed up on time the next day, as promised. Jonas was able to remedy all electrical issues quickly and correctly. Jonas is very knowledgeable, and takes pride in what he does. Would recommend this company to anyone needing electrical services.

Phoenix electricians today was very punctual with our appointment. Not only were they are very professional they are super thorough. I highly recommend this company for all of your electrical needs.

I have dealt with a lot of electricians in the last year and a lot of times they play trial and error. After seeing their yelp reviews, I gave them a call and it was easy to make an appointment. They didn't charge me extra by saying their schedule is full till mid-week and would have charge me emergency hours unlike another company. Dennis came out who was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He diagnosed the problem in a timely manner and provided me with a referral for a plumber. The entire experience was smooth. I would definitely recommend Dennis and will call him for any future repairs.

Prompt and courteous.  Sure, I could spend a day troubleshooting and repairing what it took him an hour and a half to do, but why would I?  At the end of the day I would only be tired and frustrated--that is assuming I found the problems. Thanks for a job well done.

I had an electrical problem with my pool. Someone came out and wrote up a contract, saying electrical circuit was no good, saying it would cost $3,500 because they would have to dig underground. I had someone else come out and called it an easy fix and got it working for just  $155.

I am so extremely pleased with the service that I received from this company and Joe. I believe the honesty and workmanship is of greatest importance and being a Navy mom with this company being owned by veterans is a plus. Would definitely recommend Phoenix electricians to others when they need electrical work.

This company wanted to charge me $280 to replace a $45 breaker from Home Depot, for a 10 minute job. PLUS he said it might or might not fix the problem. If not, I would have to pay them again to try to fix the problem.When I asked the Tech why it was so expensive he said someone had to pay their overhead and advertising. Me thinks not! Plus, they advertise SAME DAY SERVICE, which was not the case for me. I waited 2 days. Just another greedy company. No thanks!

We have had two opportunities to work with Phoenix Electricians.
Joe L was our tech. We could not have asked for a more competent, experienced electrician.  Joe was on time, great customer service. We were extremely pleased with Phoenix Electricians and will def use them in the future.

Was visiting family last December in Sun City. Dennis came out for diagnostics and was quick and thorough. Turns out 2 other companies were called prior that were unable to locate problem. Price was fair and the whole process was very professional. I would recommend highly for all electrical needs.

Wow! I called this company based on these positive reviews and I was not disappointed. It was the first time in ten years of homeownership that I had to call an electrician. Grateful I haven't needed one before, but pleased with the service!

I called on a Friday, mid afternoon. I spoke with Andrea and let her know we were having an unknown issue with something in the pool area. I asked for Saturday service, but she said the next two Saturdays were booked. I was ready to scoot off the phone, but she then asked if the next hour would be a good time for the servicemen to come out.

I was stunned that they were able to come out so promptly and diagnose the issue. It luckily turned out to be a minor issue and the cost was less than $150.00. They didn't charge a rush fee, didn't try to upsell, got to business and got the issue resolved. Dennis and crew were professional and efficient.

Our pool pump had been inoperable for months. We were having out of town guests in and didn't want them to see our discolored water and stagnant pool, but problem solved. Our guest also complimented the pool. Yaay.

Just had Dennis out to my house for a bizarre GFI tripping problem.  They came after hours and diagnosed the problem.  Recommended a logical repair and did the work quickly the same evening.  Very pleased.  Thanks Dennis!

Honestly, I could not be happier with this business! I am so happy to have called this company! The owner, Dennis, came over to my house and fixed 3 outlets, the entryway lights, and some other things around my house. Dennis rocks!

Dennis is amazing! He solved electrical problems at my parents' 70 year old house that no one else could.  He was really accommodating since we are from out of town have a limited amount of time to get things done.

As a local Realtor, It's important to have great go to companies to recommend to my clients. Denis and Andrea are extremely responsive and professional. They have, on numerous occasions, exceeded my client's expectations. Most recently, they helped a client who was purchasing a home with aluminum wiring. I would not hesitate to recommend them to future clients with electrical repair needs.

We rang 2 electricians, PET and one other. The second one never even bothered showing up to quote - $2300 later (a number of jobs) I bet that other electrician would be kicking himself if he knew!

Dennis and Joe were very professional and definitely were experienced and knew their stuff. We had OUR ideas on what to do, plus being clueless on how to achieve other ideas. Dennis and joe offered great advice, going well beyond Yes we can do that for $xxxxx, but, rather, making great suggestions that, after the job, proved to be brilliant (literally and metaphorically!).

Reading through reviews online and saw repeated references to a Joe Lake... Only to later find a review from Joe Lake for the company. This is highly dishonest and I would not trust a company hanging their hat on false bravado

Very happy with the service we received.  We had a semi-emergency situation and they came right out and even helped with a temporary fix until we could schedule the complete job.  We were even impressed with the fact that they gave a military discount.  I would definitely recommend them!

Called these guys based on the Yelp reviews. I had an outlet burnout in a rental and called on a Sunday. I told the gal answering the phone that I definitively needed a Monday appointment to make sure their were no safety issues. She told me no problem and that someone would call me Monday AM to set it up. I got a call in the AM, only to be told that they did not have any Monday appointments. I knew I should have called a couple of different companies for the work and gone with the company who could get me in. But I didn't, now I'm scrambling. Even though they show as open on Sundays apparently they're using an answering service who doesn't have access to the appointment calendar. Irritating!

Last minute request because other company (Simple Electric) flaked and couldn't show up to appointment. Thank you for making it easy and providing everything I needed. Would recommend to anyone. Listen to YELP reviews !!!

I needed an electrician to do some troubleshooting at a tenants house.  I wasn't going to be there so I was afraid that someone would find all kinds of extra work and overcharge me.  After finding these guys on Yelp, I gave them a call. They were over there within a couple hours, found the problem, fixed it, and even charged me a little less than the estimate.

I had to contact them for a minor troubleshooting after doing some of my own troubleshooting. After a certain point I call the pros & Joe was very professional. Other than the discrepancy on the call with the office representative who estimated the troubleshooting fee different than what Joe showed me I was still very satisfied. He was in & out fast & we were talking about whole home surge protectors & he had a great brand on hand with good warranty & 10yr protection & stayed to install that which was reasonably priced. I would have like a little lower trouble shooting rate but the SVC fee of $39 was waived as advised too. Overall I would use them again. Very professional & nice. Ask for Joe

These guys were awesome... exceeded my expectations. They came out the same day, showed up on time and did more than what they said they would do for the same money quoted. Had them install a few new light switches, install a timer and troubleshoot several unknown wiring issues for a new home I just purchased. They were fast, knowledgeable, professional and I felt comfortable having them in our home. They went above and beyond on my service call and still honored their pricing quoted. Highly recommend using them.

Came out on a Sunday afternoon after our electric panel arced, called them and they were there in about an hour didn't have the part we needed, but tried to locate the part.

Dennis is awesome! He arrived immediately, late at night, to assess our electrical needs, was knowledgeable, communicative, professional, and great to work with. Would definitely recommend them!

I called for service and was routed to the techs on the field, got VM but didn't leave a message however they called right back and came by same day service. They were very professional including the office staff who I called first and who called back later to check in. I wAs impressed by their customer service, they fixed the issue and gave very detailed explanation of the work. Would recommend. Didn't do 5 stars because was a bit pricy but I was willing to pAy for the great service they provided.

Although the first appointment was cancelled on the day that they were supposed to show up, the rescheduled appointment went well and all aspects of the job were handled perfectly.  This is the third time I have used Phx Electricians and I will continue to use their service.

I needed a electrician for a home I'm selling and asked around the neighborhood for a referral . I called number and electrician came out same day to troubleshoot GFi in kitchen.  Great service and great price.

Very happy and appreciative to the responsiveness and quality work with Phoenix Electricians Today.  I recently sold my home and had a list of electrical items to be repaired.  Dennis and Joe came to my home to discuss the best way to approach the repairs and I was very pleased with the quality of work. The technicians at Phoenix Electricians Today came out for a quote - they were there exactly when they said they would be there.
I was sent a picture of who I would be seeing at my home - which made  me feel more comfortable.
The person who answered the phones (in the office) was polite and always answered all my questions.
They came back to do the work we discussed - everything was done professionally and within the time frame they said they would have it done. The bill came to approx. $800.00 less than quoted - they gave me suggestions to lower my bill without taking away from anything I wanted done.
VERY impressed with their service and professionalism.

Thanks Yelp for another good referral. Was looking for someone to come out to do a small job in our backyard of burying some unused power outlets. Douglas came out within an hour of my initial phone call, provided a reasonable estimate, and took care of everything immediately and with a friendly and helpful approach. In comparison, I still haven't heard back from some of the other companies I tried to call this morning! Thanks PET.

We had a GFI that kept tripping and Phoenix Electricians Today was able to send out an electrician the same day. Our electrician, Jonas, was great. He was very thorough and took the time to do the job correctly so we wouldn't have problems down the road. He also checked for safety issues and gave us a couple of recommendations. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend Jonas and his company.

Douglas came out and put in some new cans in my very high ceiling.  He also ran a sub panel into my garage.  He was extremely professional and was an exemplary example of great customer service.  I will have him out again anytime I need electrical work in the future.  He went above and beyond.

Dennis Parker showed up in the middle of the night in a dust storm to help get us back to working order. Very much appreciated, and very professional. We are snowbirds and had an issue with our watering system here in AZ while we were away for the summer. Our landscaper indicated the problem was with our electrical panel connection to the system timer. We would need an electrician to repair the fault. In the meantime, the landscaper found an alternate source for power. Based upon the strength of the recommendations on Yelp, I contacted Phoenix Electricians Today and arranged for an appointment. On the morning of our appointment, Douglas called and arrived within the time frame allotted.
Douglas checked the electrical box, made a couple of recommendations, and while he was here, he gave me quotes on some future electrical work (which I am sure the company will complete as my budget allows.)
Douglas repaired our electrical issue in only a few minutes and the amount requested was $70 less than the estimate they provided on the phone. Phoenix Electricians Today earned another 5 star review.

They might be a good service if they showed up. After scheduling an appointment I spent 2 1/2 hours waiting before giving up on them.
