I researched on Yelp and found this company to be super responsive and affordable. We went into the store and talked to Joe, who was down-to-earth and informative. He didn't try to upsell or act too fake or flattering like some of the salespeople at other companies do. We communicated mostly over email with Jeana, who was kind and responsive as well. The install went very smoothly and only took an hour or so.
My only downside was that it took about a week longer than we were told to have it completed, and I had to reach out via email a few times to get updates instead of being updated. But Joe listened to my feedback and told me how the process works waiting for materials.
I also sent them photos of some marks on the counter I thought I saw, and they sent someone out to clean and buff it and make it like new again. The paperwork and payment were all online so it was very easy to do. Overall a smooth process and good work done.

They did come out and redo some of the painting. The owner and design expert both apologized for not following up. There was a slight snafu the second time because one of the drawers wasn't re-installed properly.  The owner fixed that expeditiously. We are much happier than we were.

My parents are very pleased with their service from beginning to end. They really pride themselves on their quality of work. They had a kitchen backsplash put in our kitchen and it turned out beautiful. If you are thinking of getting a backsplash for your kitchen, you have to check them out. Thank you Kelsey for taking good care of my parents, they loved the service they got from you.

I can't say enough positive things about Optimum Home Solutions. We recently hired them to renovate our home. They installed luxury vinyl throughout our whole home along with baseboards and trim, they painted all of our cabinets, redesigned our island and installed new kitchen countertops, backsplash and a new sink. They set a schedule with us and stuck to it, even when we made some last minute changes. Everyone that came to our house was kind and completely knowledgeable about what they were doing and they took pride in making sure the job was done right. Communication throughout the process was fantastic and I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. And on top of it all we felt that the price tag was more than fair. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

There's no reason to shop for a contractor other than Optimum, they are the BEST! From start to finish every person we interacted with was courteous, professional,  responsive and honest, and we interacted with a number of individuals (office personnel [Alyssa], sales person [Noble], granite fabricator and installer, tile installer [Aldo], hood vent installer [Joel] & the company's owner [Joe]). Our job was a comprehensive kitchen remodel, new granite countertop, sink & hardware, cabinetry hardware, 3D stone tile for under center island, tile backsplash above all counters and above range hood/vented through roof. So pleased with our finished job. I'd highly recommend them as your contractor. And, we'll certainly be using them again for our next project. Thank you!

Joe and his crew has done an outstanding job remodeling my house. I first started the old the old tile and carpet being removed and new ceramic tile installed with new baseboards. Then I couldn't help myself and had a complete overhaul of my master bathroom. I had them remove the old shower and garden tub and replaced it with a huge walk in shower with a rain shower, wand, and body jets. I couldn't stop there because the work they do was amazing. So, I decided to have my cabinets painted and countertops replaced. Lastly, my house is 16 years old so fresh paint on the outside was what my house needed to be complete. I can't thank enough each and every person I came into contact with. I can finally say they made my vision of my house a dream come true.

I was very concerned about the prospect of improving our 16 year old kitchen with new counter tops and a redesign of our island. I was worried about all of the things most people are: mess, coordination, something goes wrong, being completely unraveled at our home for weeks on end. I worried for no reason in hindsight all because of Optimum. The team was exceptionally easy to work with and made our plans come to life without any stress at all. I was so pleased with the care and attention as well as the encouragement to make the best choices with their guidance as professionals. All contractors were organized and completed work without impacting our day to day life and got our kitchen finished with quick turn around once begun.  My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend this business and how they work.  We are considering tackling 2 bathrooms soon and wouldn't dream of contacting another to help us further beautify our home.

5 STARS! Joe is an absolute professional with a superior focus on customer service and lightning fast communication. Joe's team of installers did an amazing remodel including a new travertine floor, wood grain tile bathroom, 2 shower surrounds including one with travertine and glass mosaic and one with marble tile and mosaic, fireplace stone surround, and travertine backsplash.

One conversation is all it took to know Optimum was the right choice for our project. Joe was very thorough before our project started laying out the timeframe, expected costs, and made me feel at ease by taking the time to answer all of my questions. While I was working with him I felt like I was his one and only client. He is extremely reachable and patient, which is very hard to find in the industry.

Throughout the project Joe and the installers were extremely professional and helpful. When problems arose they were dealt with immediately, making the process extremely easy. They would make suggestions to improve our design and execute our ideas with a level of quality you would only expect at a much higher price point.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with OHS! Joe and Juan are the BEST! They are very flexible with your schedule and if I had any questions, they would respond to me right away. I hired Optimum Home Solutions to replace 700 sq ft of flooring and the shower in my master bath in March.  Joe's crew performed with quality and in a timely fashion.  I was very pleasantly surprised with how smoothly this project went with Joe at the helm after all the horror stories I've heard from friends who suffered through remodels plagued by constant delays and no-shows.  Out of the many estimates I had for this project, Joe was the only one to provide me an estimate that clearly detailed what he was charging me for the various aspects of the project - and his prices were very reasonable.  He was always available to speak to and readily answered all my questions.  

I had to have old tile jack hammered up.  A very messy proposition, but Joe's crew did a good job sealing off the work areas.  I didn't know they would do this.  It is inevitable that dust still goes everywhere, but it wasn't through lack of effort on their part.  Demo of the floor and shower went quickly.
Jason and Patrick were the ones who installed my tile floor.  I was impressed by their attention to detail in placing each tile and their polite easy manner when I had questions or concerns.  They were at my house every consecutive day for 8 - 10 hours with no breaks except a quick lunch until the job was done.  I love the work they did.
Ralph and Chris did my shower.  I appreciated the way Ralph comfortably discussed the ideas I had for the shower and considered my wishes in the installation.  My shower was completed in 3 consecutive days.  I love my new shower.

I would hire this company again in a heartbeat.   My only sadness is that they don't offer a complete array of home improvement services - though in time this may happen.  Joe really seems concerned that his customers are satisfied and he wants to be our "go-to" guy for future business.  Thanks for the great job!

Very happy with our remodel!! It was a large project new floors in our great room and new kitchen cabinets, counter, backsplash and island along with the laundry room all right around the holidays! There were so many things going on but they managed it so well and scheduled it just right so it didn't impact our holidays. The owner Joe and project manager Jeana were always easy to reach and eager to help even with last minute changes or unforeseen issues.  Highly recommend!

We were on a time crunch for an interior reno project that included flooring, painting, and new baseboard trim. Joe and Jeanna were able to work their magic and get it done before the deadline and it looks absolutely amazing! Definite top quality workmanship all the way around. They do it all, so it was great to have one point of contact in getting all project types completed by one contractor.

I decided to delete my first review because Joe is a wonderful business man and handle the issue, that we ran into with his guys, with so much ease! I   truly did enjoy working with Noble and Juan I was upset that they made a huge issue seem so minor and I am happy Joe called to resolved the issue we had! Now for the review! When Noble came to my home he was very pleasant and professional he helped decide between quartz and granite. I was still on the fence about it because of all the drama I had to deal with from Home Depot (the French quarry was a nightmare)! I decided to go with quartz and he worked with us on the exact color and style ( I changed my mind so many times during the process) Juan was very easy to work with and explain to us what was going to happen and how long the job would take. He also answered all questions pertaining to our countertops being installed. He had his guys come out and install the counters! We had an issue with the water lines but Joe handled it so quickly (thank you Joe). During the whole entire process Noble, Juan and his guys were all on time! If they said they were coming at at 9 am they were right on time! My counter tops came out beautiful and I will definitely be using them in the near future for our bathroom remodel! I am excited to work with them again! Once again thank you so much Joe for turning lemons  into lemonade

Not many construction jobs go perfectly, however Optimum came very close. From sales to remodel Optimum proved that you can trust a contractor. EVERYONE that participated in my kitchen remodel was fantastic. Salesman Noble started out honest & forthcoming & his knowledge was very appreciated. Juan & his men worked tirelessly working on my countertops. Aldo is an artist when it comes to the tile work & Joel used great plumbing skills for a difficult reconnect. All these men told us in detail what they were doing & also checked with us if they had any questions. Their professionalism & care were greatly appreciated. When I'm ready for the bathroom remodel, I'm making 1 call. That would be to a very accessible & professional owner..Joe.

At first the service was very good they answered all questions gave a quote quickly talked us through options. After we got the final measurements we didn't hear from anybody for a week. All this time we had an inoperable kitchen. We call them and email with no response finally we get through to someone and they hadn't ordered the material yet. "They are expanding and we fell through the cracks". They rushed the order so it would be another week after they got the material instead of the normal 2. Ok sounds good. The date they told us passes so again we call and they said Thursday or Friday someone would call with a time. Nobody calls and Thursday afternoon they show up while we were walking out the door. Luckily we were able to move things around and wait while it was installed. The process went quickly but they didn't know what to deal with our bowed wall and the bar piece wasn't installed well. When they measured I asked how big of a piece can be installed without extra support I guess we had different definitions of extra support because now there is a big piece of ugly plywood that can be seen from the couch. There are scratches along the fronts and the seams weren't caulked. We asked about getting that fixed and installing a matching backsplash they said no problem Monday or at the latest Tuesday. Never heard from them. We texted and called they said it had to be pushed to Thursday. They never called. We call Friday morning and they said they did call Thursday but didn't leave a voicemail. We had no missed calls so I don't know if they did. We talked to the owner and again said they are expanding.

I am changing my review from 1 Star. The owner and installer came on Saturday morning and finished everything and installed the backsplash. They said that is how they install bars with 2cm so nothing could be done about that.. so be aware of how that will look. Aside from that the overall look is great. I am leaving it at 3 because of the amount of time it took and hassle. Hopefully we were a one off and this isn't normal for this company.

Fantastic from quote to completion!  Joe is amazing and has a wonderful crew with excellent communication. The process was painless....had I known it was it was going to be this easy, I would have redone my kitchen early.  My counters and backsplash are gorgeous and I've received tons of compliments on them.  Thank you for all that you do!

We are so happy we chose Optimum to do our kitchen backsplash. Joe is great to work with and very responsive to all our questions.  Aldo installed our tile and you couldn't ask for a more professional and great guy.  His work is outstanding.  Can't wait to work with them again when we are ready for new flooring.

We hired Optimum Home Solutions to remodel our kitchen last year and they did an excellent job!  Juan did the tear out and install and was easy to work with and met all my expectations! We had one little problem where the piece for my desk area was cut too short and there wasn't a big enough piece of my Taj Mahal quartzite slabs left over to cut a new one but Joe (the owner) and Juan immediately started searching for a partial slab that matched mine (and I was pretty picky about matching it) but after a few options they found one...they were really concerned that I was happy with it!  I love how my kitchen turned out and would definitely recommend them!

Excellent work done. Had the whole interior repainted and a shower remodel. Both projects looked good. Joe made sure he oversaw the projects and made sure it was done timely and always went the extra mile! Would definitely use this company again!

We have worked with Joe and Matt twice now for our home renovation projects.  Matt laid down the grout after we placed porcelain tile throughout the house, and he also installed and tiled our new walk in shower. Both times he showed up on time, was extremely nice and courteous, and did both projects in a timely manner. Joe was always a phone call or text message away if we needed anything. He was willing to help us find the best prices on tile and offered great referrals for plumbing, shower door companies, and tile showrooms. I was even discussing my home renovation projects with a client at work, and he proceeded to tell me about his great flooring guy, as it turned out, we were both referring to Joe and Matt!! This is an honest and great company, I highly recommend them and I will be hiring them again very soon!

These guys are THE TRUTH! Best rate I've found and they did amazing work on my floor/baseboards, in a timely manner!

We had an uneven concrete slab, stubborn thinset that refused to come up and a kitchen floor that needed to be tiled before family came into town for Thanksgiving. I found Optimum Solutions ad on Craigslist and called Joe at 10am. By noon he had one of his crew at our house to even our floors.

They were back the next day at 8am sharp to start work. By 4pm the job was done and grout was laid the next morning. Joe personified professionalism and expedient service at a supremely competitive price! My wife and I are extremely happy with the work and so is my wallet.

If you need a quality job done by one of the rare contractors that take just as much pride in their customer service as they do in their work than Optimum Solutions should be your first and last call.

Extremely professional and quality workmanship! - - Joe and his team installed our floor, counters, and back-splash - - - as well as painted a couple of rooms and finished up some baseboard for us.  We're please - - -and look forward to working with them again!

After our house flooded from a blown water tank, the process of getting things back to normal was not always easy. One of the bright spots was working with Optimum Home Solutions. From the minute Joe answered the phone, we were so impressed by the level of attentive service and professionalism. The on-time carpentry and painting crews were equally impressive - excellent workmanship for us discerning customers. This is a solid, well-run business. And one that we'll definitely call in the future for any updates to our home.

Very pleased with our new hardwood-look tile! Optimum Home Solutions went above and beyond to make us happy after encountering a hiccup along the way-we had purchased defective tile and were out of town upon discovering this. Joe was able to find a very similar, yet better quality product and still maintain the time line. It was like Christmas morning upon arriving home from our trip. We will definitely be calling them for future projects!

I cannot think of any more better adjectives to describe OHS than the ones already left by other reviewers. We are so pleased with the whole process, everyone was top notch and best of all our kitchen looks a million times better. The countertops I picked out are absolutely beautiful, but there was just a slight hiccup with the install. I'm new to this countertop installation experience so when Juan came out and measured for me, he asked me if I wanted to use my existing fiberglass sink with the new countertops. I said that I did and when it came time for the old countertops to be taken out, he could not remove my sink. So he told me to go buy a new one and he would wait to continue until I got back. I purchased a sink that was cast iron and would have been too heavy for the granite. So I went out again looking for a lighter, composite sink and finally found one an hour later. This sink headache caused a delay in the install. I realize Juan does this every day, but I had no idea what kind of sink to get. I wished he'd advised me on what to look for the first time I went out. That or I wished I'd known to ask more questions. The only other complaint I have is I found a bunch of white granite remnants in my dark landscape rock, along with old nails (probably from the old countertops) and a box cutter razor blade. I'm glad I thought to check the yard before I let my dog out. But like I said, the countertops are absolutely beautiful and I love them!

Optimum completed a master shower remodel for me and it turned out great.  During any remodel your going to run into a few obstacles.  But it's the manner that Joe the owner handled the problems that set this contractor apart from the rest.  Joe was very responsive to my concerns and remedied them quickly.  I was reassured to know that Joe was just a quick call, text or email away.  I look forward to working with him again on future projects.

First they did my 15 year old kitchen and did an amazing job. Today they did the guest bath and again it looks gorgeous!!!  Both are now model home beautiful!!!  Few more finishing touches then I will upload pix!!!

If I could give a million stars I would. We were refered to Joe from a neighbor. From the start of the measurements to the very last wipe down of my counters I couldn't have been more pleased. Called Optimum Home Solutions after seeing great reviews on Yelp, A+ with the BBB, and other online reviews.  I needed my shower ripped out and redone after the last shower was built by a NON-licenced contractor.  BIG MISTAKE!!!  Jo came out and gave me a very fair estimate.  I wanted someone who specialized in showers not just did them now and then.

Ralph was the one who did all the work, and he was totally awesome!  He is a true craftsmanship artist.  In the end,  my wife and I are 100% pleased with our shower and the great work Ralph did.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!  EXCEPTIONALLY PROFESSIONAL!  Look no further for a company to do your renovations, Optimum Home Solutions is THE BEST!  Our job was small, but Joe, the owner, Alysha, the secretary, and Juan, the fabricator, gave it their utmost attention as if we were their only customers.  They answered our questions promptly, were on time for the measuring and installation, cleaned up afterward and were the most congenial people to work with.  The granite countertops in our kitchen and baths look absolutely AMAZING.  If we ever have reason to do more renovations, Joe will be the first guy we call.

Wow! What a well run company! Found them on Yelp, and called Joe to set up a baseboard installation at my home. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient when he discussed my project. He came the same day to give me an estimate and I was able to get on their schedule the same week! Seth came out to do the installation and his craftsmanship and experience was apparent on day one. He showed up early, and stayed late when he needed to, just to get the job done. Every day Seth cleaned up and consolidated all of his materials into one area so my house was still function during the entire project. I would absolutely recommend Joe, and Optimum home solutions to anyone looking for home improvements or construction work. They set the bar extremely high for customer service in this industry and I really have never experienced a more flawless execution when making home improvements. You will not be disappointed, and I will be doing a lot more business with this company in the future.

I have nothing but praise for OHS!  Joe was very accommodating when my schedule became a problem, he not only made sure the install happened while I was on vacation he also pushed it a day earlier so I wouldn't be so rushed.  Juan's installation was fantastic!  He is not only efficient, he does beautiful work with a smile. Also Nolan was the only salesman I spoke to that informed me that I would have left over quartz from the kitchen.  That inspired me to use the rest of it on a built in entertainment center.  This level of customer service is so hard to find.  Today they are installing the back splash tile, I haven't seen it yet but am getting reports it looks awesome. You won't go wrong trusting your project to this group!

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. I am a first time homeowner and needed a remodel that looked great, but didn't drain my bank account. I worked with Joe 2 years ago and I could not be happier. I fall in love with the work they did more every single day.  Joe and his guys redid my flooring with wood tile, put up new baseboards, and revamped my fireplace with stone.  I had a few big events coming up that led to some time restraints, and Joe catered to my needs without sacrificing quality. The guys that did the tile and stone were extremely talented and precise, I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on their work. If there were a 6th star for reviews, I would give it to Optimum Home Solutions.  From the first time I contacted Optimum Home Solutions I was impressed.  Joe is 100% professional and provided the best customer service.  I was contacted within an hour of requesting a quote to schedule a measure at my home, and they came right out.  The price was extremely reasonable and I am elated for how fantastic the entire job turned out!  I was very nervous as I had a very large granite project that required 6 slabs of granite...Full backsplash kitchen, bar, oversized island, and very, very long bathroom vanities that required true mastery.  Joe told me that they are "the best" and not to worry...boy was he ever right!  To say the least, they are by far the best I have seen, and I have remodeled many homes with different granite contractors...the project was perfectly done and is gorgeous.  I will never use anyone else again for home improvements.  From being on time, to communication, to professionalism, to true craftsmanship, Optimum Home Soultions has it all.  THANK YOU from a very happy customer.

These guys are great!  We bought a new house and needed the old tile removed and approximately 1,800 sq ft of new tile installed within a very short time frame. They worked within our tight schedule and sent a crew to work over the weekend.  After it was done the owner came out and inspected the install to ensure it was perfect. He clearly explained the various steps in the process and what additional costs could be involved depending on the condition of the subfloor. Optimum Home Services recently installed tile in my home. They were professional, efficient and provided quality work! I shopped around quite a bit before I found OHS online, I was blown away by their competitive rates for installation and could not be more pleased with the quality, price and timeline of the work completed. The owner Joe, is extremely responsive and always stopped by to check in on the work being completed, he was great to work with. I absolutely love working with Optimum Home Solutions!! The tub / shower in my condo was stuck in the 80's and needed a makeover. I do not live in the same area as my condo, so Joe (owner) and I did everything over the phone and through websites. I got the "big reveal" picture last night and am so happy!!! It looks amazing!! Wow, these guys did a fantastic job on our tile flooring!  Jason and Patrick were great installers with amazing attention to detail - they were able to lay long plank (wood look) tiles on our uneven concrete slabs, which can be very difficult.  They also were very polite to my family and always cleaned up after each work day.  You cannot beat their price (trust me, I called everyone), and their quality of work is outstanding as well!  We will only be using Optimum for our tiling needs in the future.  Thanks guys!

Filled out online estimate form - never got a response. Should have taken the hint - but I called to follow up and spoke to Joe who was apologetic, seemed professional  and scheduled my tile job for a week later. The day before the job - had not heard anything - so called to confirm when crew was showing up only to be told ....maybe...maybe not. Something about a truck breaking down. I was told they would get back to me by noon to let me know if they would be able to do it OR if they "turn the job down". WHAT...I waited a week - the time to" turn the job down" would have been when I first called. Can't comment on quality - but if you like not being called back and wasting a week......then take your chances.

Optimum Home Solutions tore out our old ceramic tile and replaced it with a gorgeous porcelain tile.  Joe was always in contact with me and even popped in for a visit.  His guys worked very hard and they were efficient and quick. We were so pleased with their work that we have them coming back this week to install a back splash in our kitchen.  We highly recommend using Optimum Home Solutions, especially if you want great quality product and work for a great price!

The quality of the work was really good, as was attention to details in the work. I was told they would be out at 7:30 am, but due to a variety of issues or excuses did not show up until 2:30 pm. Every time I called to find out what was going on, I was told he would be there in about 30 minutes. He had to quit early due to a power outage, but had he showed up on time the work would have probably been done by then. I was then told he would be back at 8am the next day. He did not show up until 10:30 am and did not finish until 9:30am. When I was able to see the work, noticed he missed a spot under a door and he had to come back. He got to it well after the carpet repair folks came out, who he knew were scheduled for that day, and that carpet did not get put back down. He had to come out again to put the carpet down for me. Had I not been in a bind with having to pay a cancellation fee for the carpet guys, I would have found someone else. The hassle was incredible and not worth it, regardless how the tile came out.

We had approximately 1100 sq ft of tile installed by Optimum. They are large (8"x48") plank style porcelain tiles which are not easy to lay. The final product is amazing. Joe and his guys did a great job. We had a few small issues that were quickly resolved. The customer service provided by the company is better than most. It is obvious that they care about customer satisfaction. We will definitely hire them again and we plan to in the near future. Also, their prices are very reasonable.

My wife and I could not have been happier with the work and new look of our kitchen.  The 2 men showed up on time and the total job took about 6 hours.  Jason and his partner were experienced and we had no problems at all.  Very professionally done work and I plan on using them again for more home improvements.

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Optimum. While Jason, who laid our tile, was extremely attentive to detail and did a fantastic job, I was kind of left hanging overall. I was told that they'd finish putting on the baseboards (which normally they don't do, but I offered to pay) and tile the bathrooms, and then they never called me back to do it. They also took out the toilet to do the tile in a bathroom and never put it back. Also, their estimate of the square footage of the job was over 100 square feet more than my estimate and they said they'd come back to re-measure, and called me the morning of once to do it, but after that they just disappeared. The finished product is beautiful, they're professional, and their prices are fair, but planning and organization seem to be lacking. I have a lot of other home improvement projects to do around the house, and I don't plan on using them again.
