Wow. I messaged Gabe on Sunday, he responded right away, came out on Monday morning, and fixed the issue.
I had a ceiling fan and an outlet on the same switch. When the fan stopped working, another electrician came out and took the fan off of the switch and got it working. I didn't realize until months later when I tried to plug something into the outlet on the switch, that now the outlet had stopped working. Of course the previous electrician didn't respond to my messages. Gabe was able to get the switch wired properly, fixing the last guy's error, and finally getting everything to work the way it was supposed to.

I definitely say all of the reviews posted here about One Shot Installation and Gabe are 100% spot on! I called Gabe because of an issue with the circuit breakers and electric receptacles at my house. Fortunately for me, Gabe literally was in the area and he was able to get to my house within a half hour my calling.
Fortunately, the problem turned out to be a fairly simple one and Gabe was patient enough to walk me through exactly what caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. He charged me a very reasonable price for the work he did, considering I called him late on a Saturday afternoon on Thanksgiving Weekend. Another electrician I called yesterday wanted to charge me $950 for the first hour. Gabe's prices were no where near that high. His prices were extremely fair and he was very professional.
Needless to say, I took Gabe's business card. He and One Shot Installation will now be our Go To company for all of our electric needs and for any other handy-man type projects for around our house. Gabe is the best!! Cannot thank him enough.

I can attest to the other testimonials and praise. Just like the name One Shot installation, Gabriel really goes above and beyond to get things done all in one shot. I had an emergency where my smoke detector had a water leak and the alarm was going bonkers. There's no way in hell anyone would be able to sleep through that.
Gabriel responded instantly and took care of my issue immediately. Not only that, there were some underlying issues (not related to my emergency situation), but Gabriel was more than happy to take care of it. His rates are very reasonable.

They called me and we talked at length about our failed outlet and breaker. He was going to come out and check the problem and provide an estimate to fix the problem. It was the 4th of July weekend so I asked him to come out after the holiday. Then we retrofitted the other windows that use the same install with new airconditioners and decided we didn't need to fix the broken outlet. I appreciated the effort One shot gave towards fixing the problem. I would recommend them.
Gabe is a touch notch on the spot one shot professional. My water heater stop heating. Went to yelp for someone with good reviews after reading the reviews and submitting a request, fortunately one shot Gabe called me. After having a conversation and sending him a couple pictures he gave me a quick diagnosis. Gabe gave me the best avenue to buy the heater. He picked up the heater all the parts that were necessary came and installed it all in one afternoon amazing !! I would highly recommend Gabe and his helpers. He is professional responsible with a kind personality.
Everything upstairs would not work and keep blowing the circuit. I checked the main box and it keep popping. This was on a Sunday night. So, I called Gabriel at One Shot Installation. He came over right away and took his time to figure out the problem. Gabriel explained everything to us and showed us the problem and fixed it. Turned out the circuit breaker was bad in the bathroom. Installed a new one problem solved. Great service and excellent work. So glad i called One Shot Installation.

We're very happy with our recent water heater replacement. We had a gas leak from the old water heater and house guests coming the next day; I needed help fast! I called Gabe and he was nearby so he came out to inspect and give an estimate that night, even though it was about 7pm. He made a plan to pick up all the supplies the next morning and get to work bright and early. He gave advise on how to beat take care of the water heater and instructions on how to adjust the settings and whatnot. He was diligent, friendly, and trust worthy. He did a GREAT JOB and we are so happy we reached him that night. I know we would have paid much more with a competitor plumber company. Thank you Gabe! We look forward to working with you for future house projects.
I had excellent service and would use them again. Good correspondence with setting up the purchase of a toilet from Lowe's. He picked it up and installed it really well making sure the toilet was well balanced and sealed. I know that 5 stars as the highest possible stars, but this company gets a 20 *** from us. We had hired an electrician to install multiple fans for us...and there were too many issues with them. We found One Shot Installation and they truly live up to their name. One Shot and it is done properly and professionally!!
The plugs in the master bedroom went out along with one in the garage on Thanksgiving evening. On Friday, I called one company and told the answering service what happened. I was told to expect a call back within one hour. Never happened. We waited over the weekend, on Monday, I called another company that after 3 hours hadn't called back.
So, checked Yelp again and found One Shot. I called and Gabe answered right away. He was waiting to hear back from another client, so he said he could come over right away!! :-)
Long story short, he's thorough, explains thing well, and did a fantastic job. He was great to work with and reasonably priced. He will be our first call for electrical issues in the future.

I called this company in the mid afternoon and he went above and beyond solving my water heater problem. In fact he went to LOWES and gave me recommendations which I did purchase on my card and didn't market up the price or pickup charge.
He had my home up and running with hot water the very same day which was very late in the day. Congratulations to the company and I will be referring anyone I know to choose his company. He did excellent service on replacing the water heater and explained and how to adjust the water heater. His prices were more than fair I am completely satisfied. Great job
Gabe was able to help quickly when the washing machine went out. Called left a message & the next day Gabe was at our home to trouble shoot the washing machine, he also removed and picked up the new washing machine, installed it over the weekend. In the past he has installed ceiling fans and fixed electrical in my home. The work is well done & reliable.
I truly can't say enough positive things about Gabe. It's very difficult to come across a jack of all trades who is honest and true to his word. Gabe was able to come out the same day I called to install a gas range that the delivery drivers were unable to install (on two separate occasions) and repair a circuit breaker and several outlets. After 2 weeks without a stove, Gabe hooked it up and fixed my electrical issues all in just over an hour!
He also followed up with me to ensure everything was functioning properly, which just shows how much he cares about his work and his clients. He has since helped me with plumbing issues and replaced my old kitchen faucet as well.

I called on them for my elderly father. His smoke detectors were going out and the chirping was driving him crazy lol. Gabe responded very quickly and understanding of his needs. The problem was fixed very professionally and quickly. My father was relieved and happy so of course that made me a happy camper. He communicated well with not only my father but also gave me a follow up call since I had made the initial contact. Would highly recommend.
Gabe responded quickly to my request to have a 240V outlet installed in my garage for charging my electric car. He was a very personable guy and was more than happy to offer advice and suggestions to my project to improve upon it. He was very fast, professional and accommodating. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else in the future.
Gabe returned my call within minutes and immediately began helping me troubleshoot an electrical issue over the phone. When we exhausted all options, he came on a Sunday morning to replace a faulty breaker. He is professional, trustworthy and honest with his work.
Cannot give more than three stars. Labor charge was way too high for my washer. No parts required, just an adjustment. A little over an hours work for almost $300. Tech was nice and quite chatty. Fixed the problem but way overboard on price.
Gabe was very kind, affordable, and smart at his work. He installed my double wall oven and electrical box. He had to do a lot of problem solving because of the placement of the electrical box and was able to come up with several options and discuss them all with me so I could decide. He is very trustworthy and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and not just done the easy way. I will be using him again for any future needs.
After having multiple issues with our tankless water heater, and having an electrician and a plumber out who both refused to work on it, I found Gabe through yelp. He contacted me right away, kept me in the loop about when he could come out and even came on a Sunday to look at it.
Gabe was able to diagnose the problem pretty quickly. He pointed out some issues with the wiring that our home inspector missed and gave us options for the repair. In a matter of an hour, we had a working water heater and water that was hotter than it ever had been before. Based on his diagnosis, we know long term we have to do some rewiring, and we're 100% certain we'll call Gabe to complete the job.
This is a rare instance where I wish I could rate a company with 6 stars.
The short of it: Gabe is efficient, knowledgeable, and surprisingly quiet with his work. He takes time to educate me about what he has done and what I can do to keep things around my house running smoothly post-repair.
The long version: I have a 16-year-old house that has seen very little maintenance over the years. It needs a lot of TLC and there are tons of odd things needing fixed/replaced. Almost everything I've thrown at Gabe, he's been able to fix the same week. What little he can't tackle himself he's recommended folks for. I plan to check them out because I am hoping they'll be as great to work with as One Shot Installation has been.
At this point Gabe's been to my place three times. Working with him is a very comfortable experience. It's like working with a family friend, not a big soulless corporation. I really feel like he cares about the long-term, both where his business is concerned and my home too. This isn't just about home repair. This is home maintenance.
Here's an example of our working situation so far:
While he was out installing new lights I'd purchased to replace ancient broken ones in the bathroom, he heard my dying front-loader washer and we got to talking about it. Turns out, the thing should never have been installed on the 2nd floor because of its weight and that aside, it was in need of replacing. I'd suspected this for a while so I didn't mind having an appliance company install a new one fit for the house. But this didn't help the old dryer any. It was working poorly and I asked Gabe if he thought it should go too. He told me it was actually from a generation of really good dryers and that he wanted to see if some basic maintenance would fix it.
He pulled a fluff-bunny the size of a cantaloupe out of my wall. After about an hour of vacuuming, the dryer now works better than it did when I got it from my mom-in-law. Gabe said it should last a while, if I keep it maintained. Which you can bet I will.
The technical stuff: His prices are more than fair for the services he provides. Compared to other companies, he is on the low side of average, but I don't feel you can compare his work to other companies who offer similar rates. His work and personality are head-and-shoulders better than other places I've dealt with.
I already have plans to work with Gabe after the New Year. My kids need a break from the renovating. So now's your chance at him before I start dominating his calendar. You'll be glad you called him.
I hit up the owner, Gabriel (who goes by Gabe), around 7 pm on a Thursday night after my stackable W/D broke down and the washer completely stopped at Rinse during a large wash cycle of clothes. I was freaking out and felt like it was an impossible mission - I have people coming in town in two days, I have tons of laundry to do to get extra bedding/towels around, and my landlord lives across the country. Added on that, it's a Thursday evening after hours and it's getting to be hot outside again, so contractors are busy bees right now as it is.
He responded immediately to my message sent on Yelp, and was just as knowledgable and helpful as his reviews say! He asked for specific photos of my washer and the model number for the unit and assured me he could handle the job. He was even kind enough to walk me through the right place to find the model on the machine, very patiently might I add, as it took me a few tries. He was great with giving me directions to help him.
I had a few other contractors that I had contacted for this project on the site as well and One Shot Installation, by far, was the best choice. Gabe was here at the exact time he said he would be this morning, he was very thorough and tested my machine twice while walking me through every thing it could or could not be. He is very knowledgable about his work and all appliances, electrical work, and telecommunications (and more!) He was in and out in an hour with a real fix.... instructions on how to avoid this happening on my older unit in the future. What a company, seriously. Truly exceptional service and response times. Plus, Gabe is a real cool guy and character! Trustworthy service all-around to have in your home, coming from a female that lives alone in a first floor condo.

We have used One Shot Installation for several projects -both electrical and plumbing. They are very good about getting to the job quickly and getting it done right. I am impressed with their professionalism before, during and after the job. Their expertise when it comes to electrical repairs is impressive. I am thankful for the competence when it comes to plumbing as well since we have several rental properties that often need attention. Fair prices too!
We have had Gabe come out and do jobs at our house twice now and he has always been professional and done amazing work for us. The first job was the wonky electrical wiring in our hallway, which he figured out!
Our hot water heater went out yesterday morning and he showed up with very little advance warning, assessed the situation, removed the broken one, then went and got a new one and replaced it, all in the same visit. We have no complaints whatsoever about Gabe's work or this company..
Gabe was a huge life saver. We had ordered a new refrigerator and dishwasher from a big box store. After some headaches with the delivery the appliances showed up but the big box store only installed the refrigerator. When I called them back it was going to be an additional two weeks and more money. Gabe to the rescue! I found One Shot via reviews online and they were all correct. He was friendly, professional and able to complete the install the same day. We will be using One Shot for ALL of our future needs.

Fair prices and fast work. He even 'fixed' my dryer for free (it wasn't broken, I'm just an idiot and had the gas line switched off...but some places would charge for something that simple).
Gave lots of good advice and recommendations for other repair work I need.
I called another company and had 2 days of no- shows and no calls; this was how it should be.
Gabe is awesome. Very courteous, professional and came when he said he would. I've been having intermittent power failure in half of my house for the past couple of years at least. Power would come on and be fine for a couple months and out of the blue, half of the electricity would stop working. Had a couple other people check it out before but when they came out, the power would always kick back on and they could never figure out the problem.
Finally I called Gabe and within a couple of minutes, he figured out the issue and told me it was an issue with the line coming in from APS and suggested that I call them ASAP to fix the issue on their end.
Soooo I did that, and APS came out within a couple of hours and replaced the faulty wiring which didn't cost me anything extra since it was on their end. Gabe was right on the money, power is back on and stable!
A lesson I did learn is that I should have just called APS first to check the problem and they could have told me whether it was their equipment or mine that needed repaired and it would have saved me the diagnostic fee of the electrician and would have cost me nothing.
However I'm just happy an ongoing issue was finally resolved and that Gabe gave me a very fair and honest assessment so the diagnostic fee, which I could have avoided by calling APS, was in the long run, worth it to me in that I met a fair and honest electrician who didn't give me the runaround. I will definitely use Gabe in the future if I have any electrical needs for my home. Highly recommended!
I contacted Gabe and he responded within the hour and came assess my electrical problem. He was very honest, courteous, profession, informative, and knowledgeable. He quoted me a price and I was charged exactly that. He was able to quickly identify the problem and fixed it. He also identified two future potential problems and told me it doesn't need to be addressed at this time, but possibly sometime in future before I sell my home. He was not pushy and he did not try to upsell. I would highly recommend his services to friends and family.

What an awesome, responsive company to work with! Just as a problem with the hot water heater was being resolved, a problem with the circuit breaker developed....late afternoon on a Saturday. Not living locally I had found a great plumbing company on Yelp so I returned here for an electrician, and found One Shot Installation.
Gabriel returned my call shortly after leaving a voicemail. I described the problem and he outlined some possible causes. Gabriel went to the site and assessed that a unique breaker replacement was required. Rather than wait a couple of days he sourced the part at a local hardware store as it wouldn't be found at a big box store and installed it, making the tenants very happy.
While I'm sure this happened at a fluke of timing for Gabriel to my benefit, from our first discussion to the problem being solved was in the range of 2 hours.
Gabriel is very professional, takes initiative to problem solve, and given the timing and urgency, charges rates which seemed very reasonable.

Gabe was super nice and very professional! We recently bought our first house and with it a washer and dryer. When trying to get the dryer to work we quickly realized there was an issue. The outlet was disconnected and rewired to a completely different area within the property. Gabe was able to fix the issue without have to open the wall or get new equipment within 2 hours. Would definitely recommend!
Needed an additional electrical outlet and cords snaked up for a floating TV Console - contacted him on a Saturday evening he responded within 15 minutes I sent him photos - scheduled for the next morning . I have an Admiral washing machine (made by Whirlpool) and have owned it about eight years. It has worked hard over the years and has never failed us. The washer was stuck with the drum full of water and would not go into the rinse cycle, nor drain. Thankfully Gabe quickly diagnosed it as an electrical and motor problem and was able to fix it quickly.
Extremely professional and all work was completed beyond my expectations. He demonstrated complete honesty, showing me the broken parts, gave me the part numbers, and showed me the prices online, from third party part suppliers. Not once did he try to up-sell me or mark up the prices.

Gabe @ One Shot was amazing!. I had a problem with 2 ceiling fans and was looking for someone to install new ones. Upon arriving on site, Gabe quickly realized that it would be easier (and cheaper!) to make a couple of minor repairs to both systems and did so. Gabriel Razo of One Shot Installation came to my house after we texted about a couple of electrical jobs I needed to handle. He is prompt, polite and very knowledgeable about electrical and plumbing projects. He changed the power cord on a GE dryer and helped set up the washer too. He also installed a new electrical outlet in the kitchen and then installed a microwave oven. He also cleaned up afterwards, priceless! Gabe's prices are fair and he stands behind his work. If I could give more stars for Gabe, I would. I just bought a new house and some things came up on the inspection with regards to my breaker box outside. Gabe took the time to go over my options, educate me on each option, and let me choose what I wanted (usually repairmen will pressure you into their choices).
Gabe did the repair within an hour, it looked great. He sent me pictures of the repair, receipt for work, and his contact info again if I needed anything else. He even went so far as to offer other services he does as well.
He was professional, did clean work, and was very friendly.

This guy is a bit of a con man. He tries to sell you that he is highly experienced and does top notch work. Well I had hired him to do the electrical hookup for my hot tub. The hot tub company had recommended a highly experienced and licensed electrician. However this highly experienced electrician wouldn't be available for 3 weeks so I called Gabe at One Shot Installation. Big Mistake.
Gabe claimed high levels of experienced yet when speaking with the hot tub technician, he didn't even understand basic electrical terminology. They were frustrated trying to explain to him what things were. Gabe then told me, he did commercial stuff, and was newer at residential stuff and didn't understand the terminology.
Gabe then charged me 3 times the price for parts that a normal electrician would charge me. And Gabe's total cost came out to be $1,000 for something a highly experienced residential electrician would charge $300. I actually hired the highly experienced electrician later when I moved and needed a new hookup for my hot tub.
I gave Gabe 2 stars instead of one was because he finally figured out what he needed to do after being frustrated for a few hours.
Ironically, Gabe had asked me to multiple times to write a review for him and so I am doing it now. Gabe does come across as a nice person and is personable. Just watch out for his astronomical prices and claims of high levels of experience. Con man supreme.
I'm 100% sure Gabe is the guy. There is no mixup because I called based on the reviews here. The phone number is still the same. I didn't realize the prices he charged me were astronomical until much later. I believed him at the time because he told me that's how much the parts cost because he charged labor on top of that. Unless you know the going prices for everything, be wary of Gabe. Initially Gabe said that he would do the job for $300 but once he arrived he kept on saying things needed to be replaced and it would cost more, if I didn't go with him then, I would still owe him a service call for coming out. It ended up costing about $1,000. With all the extra parts Gabe said he needed, I asked the highly experienced electrician how much it would have costed with him. He said $300.
I only needed an outlet fixed but Gabe was on time and provided a good, fast service.
Service-call reason: burning smell in washing machine.
Side note: Didn't know I could request quotes directly through the Yelp app; so convenient!
Actual Review: Gabe responded to my request right away, asked for Make & Model, and provided a quote. He came out the next day and arrived ON TIME (just by that, I'm already sold!). Then he fixed our issue and the actual charge came out a little less than the quote (the clincher!). Now I can do laundry again! Yay!?!?
Everything about this service-call was perfect, we've scheduled a return visit so he can look at our dryer next. :)
Last note: Gabe was personable and easy to talk to. He will be our go-to guy for this and other electrical issues from now on.

Gabe contacted us early Sunday morning, and got to our home around 10:30am. open 24 hours, really means Gabe will service, whenever! It took a while for Gabe to diagnose the issue, as there were a few components he wasn't in control of that we had to explain to him. He was able to find the issue, provide us options to correct, all for a very reasonable price. Gabe confirmed his work is backed 100%, and to call if we continue to have issues. Not only was Gabe punctual, professional, and actually walked us non-electricians through the issue/ cause/ diagnosis/ prognosis, he was also very personable. Gabe was here fixing our issue for about 4 hours, and the experience was great just having conversation. I highly recommend Gabe, and will be using him for all my electrical needs!!!!
My Mom had actually found Gabe on Yelp (she lives out of state), saw his wonderful reviews and gave him a call while I was at work. My washing machine was not draining, flooding, and we smelled something burning when we opened the door. Honestly it's an old machine and I thought for sure it was done for.

We can't say enough about Gabe! Our washing machine broke down with our clothes in it!! It was Sunday night at 7pm! We couldn't find anyone to come out!! We called numerous places to no avail. We came across One Shot and called. We had to leave a message but Gabe called us back within a few minutes! He was on his way home, most likely from a long day! He came right over and spent about an hour and had it up and running! Gabe was very professional, friendly, courteous, communicative and on time!! Five stars is not enough stars. Gabe is first of all a great human. Incredible electrician. He figured out an electrical system born in 1955 that has seen multiple electrical additions. He would have come the same day, ended up coming the next day when we asked him to reschedule. He figured out our electrical issue and fixed dangerous electrical issues that he discovered along the way. Professional, clean. I could go on, but you get the idea. You will be fortunate if Gabe does your electrical work.
Gabe is awesome! I called him for an estimate to fix the wiring and install a new ceiling fan on our back patio. We also had an outlet outside that didn't work. He came out when he said he would, and kept me informed with text messages about when he would be here. Very prompt and professional. I will definitley use him again and highly recommend him!!
Wonderful service! My dryer broke down the day after returning from a long vacation. With loads of laundry to do, I hopped on yelp and found Gabe. He was able to come out the very next morning and fix our problem! He was quick, honest and super helpful. While there our power unexpectedly went out and he was even able to help with that too! Gabe is genuine, knows his craft, and communicates effectively when he find a problem or is going over what he repaired. I will never use anyone else as I know he will always do an honest and excellent job on anything at my home.

Hello people. On Sunday July 14 th. I had an emergency appliance situation and was in a dire need of keeping my food at coldest temp and repairing my refridge. I called, left a message and called back with in 30 minutes or less from Gabe. I was assisted over phone and followed up with texts through out the following hour. Specific information was requested and after conducting his research. He had me take some action and gave me instructions to determine and rule out some things. I am over all happy with the time he took on Sunday night. It was pretty late. Either way I bought a new one at Home Depot. However, he was right about the diagnoses. Heck, I was offered alot of information.

I woke up at 1:45 am to see that my water softener was pouring gallons of water in my garage. I quickly called and Gabriel showed up around 2:10 and had my problem fixed in no time. Gabriel was amazing. I had an issue with the dryer outlet, where it was burning the dryer power cord and giving off a fish smell through the outlet itself. I email Gabriel my issue and he said that he'll come by to check it out. When he showed up, he explained the situation and was very helpful. He offer a solution for a REASONABLE price and resolve my problem. I will continue to do my business with him for my other electrical needs.
I needed an electrician in the middle of the night and called Gabriel Razo at One Shot Installation at 11:10 p.m. He was at my house by 11:30 p.m. He diagnosed the problem within 15 min. However, he didnt have the part I needed in my breaker box (the main breaker). He gave me a list of 6 other electricians to call to see if they had the part. The best part? He didn't even charge for the service call and diagnosis! Just asked for some water! I gladly gave him a bottle of water, and $60.00. I felt it was only right to compensate him for his inconvenience. I will definitely call One Shot Installation the next time we need an electrician.
I have a hard time hiring people to do work for me as I typically do the work myself. But I had an electrical issue near my pool pump that I could not wrap my head around. My washing machine stopped working this morning and couldn't get it working again. Gabriel was the first person to respond from Yelp, first through text message then a phone call. He graciously walked me through steps to fix my washing machine. There aren't many companies who would offer performing that service without coming to one's home first and assessing a service fee. Not only did he assess what's likely the culprit, but said it'll be a better investment, (for many reasons) why I should probably buy a new machine. Again, not many servicer's would say that. After discussing it with another specialist, I took his advice and just purchased a new machine.
Even though he didn't physically inspect or repair, I believe he would provide the same level of service if he did; therefore, I'm giving him five stars.

Gabe came out in the evening to look at our washer. It was making a weird noise. I initially thought it was a belt, but because of the age of the washer, it didn't have a belt. It was the transmission. This man ROCKS. He's easy to chat with, SUPER NICE, and very knowledgeable about appliances. My washing machine has overflowed 3 times this month. The first time, my entire downstairs was flooded. (Luckily, I have tile floor and a wet vac.). After the 3rd time, I realized there MUST be something wrong with my washing machine. I thought it couldn't be a huge issue since it was so sporadic so I didn't want to pay a HUGE price. I found Gabe and gave him a call. He didn't answer but called me back IMMEDIATELY (while I was still leaving a message.)
He told me he was at another job in Tolleson and could come directly to my house in Laveen when he finished (he said he works all over the Phoenix Metro area so it was AWESOME that he was so close when I called. He was clearly meant to be my repair man.). He showed up about an hour or so after my original call. He fixed the washing machine and took the time to explain how to make sure it doesn't happen again. His pricing is reasonable/inexpensive and his service is quick! I am saving his info in my phone for any work I need done in the future.

Gabe is an absolute lifesaver. He is so efficient, communicates and makes sure your happy with the work before you pay. My washer went out on a Sunday with our family taking a vacation of Thursday. Needless to say we had a lot of laundry to do. Gabe came out Sunday to asses the issue. We had the parts ordered before he left. I contacted him today (Tuesday) when the parts arrive. He came right over. While he was here I was able to ask a few questions about my dryer. Turns out it needed to be serviced. The units are 4.5 yrs old and I've never had the dryer serviced. We could have had a fire with all of the lint that was near the gas heating coil. He also vacuumed out the lint trap. I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Would highly recommend to friends and family!
So I didn't actually get to use them, however I did want to leave a yelp review as I wish I would have. I called this morning, a Sunday, as my grandparents house had a leak. I was called right back and was told to text pictures of leak so I could be given a quote. He was priced very well and the customer service was excellent. I'm sure based on this information the quality of work is excellent as well.
A few weeks ago my washer broke on me. As a single woman I was definitely hesitant to have someone come into my house while I was alone but nonetheless, it had to be done!
I found my washer through an online ad Gabe had posted and called Gabe about it. He was easy to work with and I went and checked out the washer that day, it was just what I needed. He transported the washer for me (as I did not have the vehicle to do so!) and installed it and made sure it worked well.
We hit a slight bump in the road when the washer seemed to have a slight problem with the spin cycle. I called Gabe and he immediately arranged to come out and fix the problem. It was a problem that needed another repair so instead of charging more/not returning calls/or whatever else he COULD have done he gave me a brand new (to me!) washer. He made sure it worked properly and it has been working wonderfully ever since.
I cant thank him enough for being quick to respond to my problem and being so helpful and going above and beyond when he didn't have to.

Gabe was very nice and seemed to do a good job of installing a about 6 light dimmers and relocating a fluorescent light. I supplied all the materials. He was a little evasive about what the cost would be. I trusted him because of his other reviews. Wish I had asked more. 2 hours work for $450? I think that is way out of line. Make sure you nail a quote down before using Gabe.
Gabriel is Amazing!!! Responded right away... We had him help us change out most of the light fixtures in the whole house including fans, bathroom fixtures, contemporary chandelier and all of the led pot lights... And even install a led strip under the island counter that changes colors... He is very professional, honest, gives advice and suggestions on how to have the best outcome... He is also going to do another project for us, which is running electrical wires and hooking up our swimspa... I had some funky issues with the outlets in my old house and finally got around to calling someone about it one Saturday night. Much to my surprise, Gabe answered the phone and said he could take care of it the next morning. I asked if he could come early as we had some things we had to do and that was no problem. Gabe fixed our outlets in one our bedrooms that were not working for years. We were not sure what the problem was when we moved in. so we finally bit the bullet after finding him on yelp. Recently purchased a new home and had several concerns from our home inspection that we needed addressed. Had a pleasant business encounter with One Shot Installation yesterday 12/2. I went into my garage to find the entire wall where my washer/dryer are had dryer lint all over it. After getting behind the dryer it seemed that the vent connection had come undone and it looked quite clogged. I called up One Shot and they said they could come that same day. I live in Tempe and they are based in the west valley so I was pleasantly surprised.
Gabe got to my house about 2 hours later and proceeded to help me move the appliances and got to work on the dryer vent. There were some issues with some kinks in the line but he stuck with it and got it all cleaned out. Gabe was friendly, professional, and of course timely.
I thought it was a little pricey ($100 for not quite 2 hours of work) but I don't know the standard rate for all this stuff. However, with all the horror stories I've experienced with service companies in the past I would gladly pay a premium for someone that I know and trust. And Gabe and One Shot definitely fit that description.

I discovered a problem with my washing machine and expected to have it fixed later in the week. I called Gabe about 3:30 PM and he said he could come by later that afternoon. He arrived about 6 PM and had it running in about 20 minutes. He diagnosed and fixed it incredibly fast with no surprises.
I had discovered a problem with a toilet during the time I placed the first call and when he showed up. He had that fixed in no time after making a run to Home Depot for the missing part which I reimbursed him for with no markup.
So, I went from thinking I'd have two problems to fix over the weekend to having them solved in a short time right away, which was nice for peace of mind. Pricing was fair, a bit under what I was originally fixing them would be having two separate people out to help me with them.
If you are want to deal with a repairman who doesn't take forever to come out, blow you off with no explanation or come up with gotchas definitely try One Shot out. I went from two headaches to none in a very short time!
We recently moved into a house which came with a washer and dryer that had never been serviced. The dryer duct was so clogged up with lint and dryer sheets that it couldn't function properly. Gabe serviced and cleaned out the dryer and the duct and now the dryer works great. The service was so great that when we had an electrical issue at the new house the following day, I called Gabe. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to help as it was out of his field of expertise, but he suggested someone who could help and checked in later today to see if we had gotten the issue resolved. Long story short, Gabe cares deeply about his customers and will do all he can to make sure their needs are met. We have his card in our refrigerator and will be calling him next time anything goes awry.
Gabe was great - I had an emergency (turns out it wasn't really an emergency, but he could hear that I was nervous) and he showed up within an hour to come help. He fixed the problem quickly and thoroughly explained everything. He also re-labeled by circuit board as it was very poorly labeled. Do yourself a real favor and use Gabe for any electrical, plumbing, or appliance repair needs you have. He was recommended highly by a friend who has used him multiple times, and you can bet I will do the same. He offered to come the same day I called to fix an electrical issue that I had, but I had him come the next day and he diagnosed and repaired a difficult problem to trace beyond my experience. He was knowledgeable, experienced, polite, and made a big effort to educate me on what had happened, why, and what he would do the correct the problem. I am very leary of vendors with the service call being nothing but a chance to upsell more services, and to have Gabe as a resource now is fantastic-trust him.

I am writing this review on behalf of my roommate, who hired One Shot to fix our washing machine (which keeps walking across the floor) and also to check out the malfunctioning embedded lights in our hallway. Gabriel fixed the lights very quickly and diagnosed the problem with the washing machine quickly, too. The fix for the washer is cost-prohibitive, sadly, but he recommended a low-cost way to keep it from happening without overpaying to fix what should probably just be replaced. To me, that is honest and shows that he is not trying to take advantage of someone who has no idea what stuff like this costs. Overall, very satisfied and will definitely use his service again.
Very impressed with the work. I had things to do that day and didn't want to sit around waiting for a repair. Gabe was nice enough to call me 20 minutes prior, so I could be home when he arrived. The problem was fixed within 20 minutes and he gave me great tips on how to better care for my appliance. I will definitely use them in the future for appliance service and electrical work.
Called Gabe on a Sat about a dryer that was taking forever to dry clothes. Thought maybe he could come out the following week. He said he would be in my area Sunday if that was OK. He arrived on time with his teenage son. Had his son (smaller size) get behind dryer (tight area) and remove vent and back of unit. Checked heating controls, heat output and cleaned the inside of the vent attached to dryer. Could find no problem, but that wasn't good enough. He thought maybe the vent tubing as too short and not letting the hot air to vent up to the roof. He replaced same with a longer hose. I have to admit at first I thought I had just wasted my money, but after he left and we tried the unit again the following week and since then it has preformed as brand new. Thanks Gabe, great service. Will have your card in my file for the next time.
I was having issues with fridge water dispenser and called one shot and spoke with Gabe. He was EXTREMELY helpful and very knowledgable about my issue. He helped locate the cause of the leak and knew where to find the replacement parts it needed. Highly recommended for any repairs!!!
Left me in a bit of a bad position on a Friday.
Called around 9a in the morning and didn't get a call back until 11a to discuss the electrical issue I am having with my cooling system. He asked for a photo but due to work I couldn't get one but told him I would. He explained he had time on Saturday and could help out. I had some cabling that needed to be done as well which he advertising he can do. When I lately sent him a photo of my circuit breaker that HE REQUESTED, he informed me he can't do it because it'd be too difficult to get the parts and he hurt his right arm. While I am sorry and empathic to his injury, he could have called to inform me at least before 5pm. It is now Friday at 5:30p and I am trying to call electricians for help before the weekend but am up the river without a paddle due to the late notice from him. Additionally, I could still needed the cabling done but I guess that doesn't matter? Long story short, should have just called someone else more dependable and willing to solve the issue. Also gave me a quote of $160 to just 'access' the situation. Won't be hard to find someone better.

1. I had no idea it was a busy day and was not told it was. If I were told, I would have called other electricians as well, but I am sure you did not want to potentially loose business.
2. I do care you were injured and apologize for it as well as send my sympathy. However, you could still text and obviously post on yelp so you have the ability to communicate. Also you didn't really care about my grandmother dying until this post so that is very convenient for you.
3. On the phone you explained you needed the picture to know what you were walking into. Not if you could or could not do the job. Again probably because if you had I would have started to call other electricians.
4. It doesn't add up for you to charge a 160 dollar assessment fee to come out but can determine whether you can do the job or not from a photo? So which is it, you need to come out to access the breaker or do you need a picture?
5. I'm not an electrician so assuming I know what is wrong with my home's electrical and how 'bad' (which I own and live in now but thanks for the assumption anyway) it is was again unhelpful.
6. Your recommendation was closed after 5p so it was just the same as a restaurant pointing me to another restaurant who is closed.
7. If you want to blame this all on a former potential customer, go for it all you want. Because even if I was in a bad spot before like you said, you just made it worse by not communicating and are more concerned for your image on Yelp than customers.

Our dryer was making lots of noise & stopped drying. Gabriel responded quickly and came over on the 4th of July! Got the part the next day and gave us a fair price. Will definitely call him again!

I have used these guys several times. On time and fairly priced. I am a contractor myself and he has done several cable/DSL repairs immediately to restore Internet/tv which has definitely made my customers happy. I also had him fix my dryer at home because it was making scary noises. Quick response and priced right. I would recommend Gabe to anyone. Great quality and dependable.
I called Gabriel on Friday afternoon because my dryer wouldn't heat up and it wouldn't turn off at the end of the cycle. After sending him the model information he researched a few pricing options that he thought would fix the problem.
He came over the next morning, working with me and my hectic schedule. He arrived promptly and introduced himself. Inviting a stranger into my home always makes me nervous but immediate Gabriel me feel very comfortable and he went to work right away.
After cleaning out the dryer *I admit, I hadn't cleaned the laundry room thoroughly in a while* we discussed the issue, it wasn't what he originally thought so the price wasn't as high as quoted. After finishing with the dryer he noticed that my washing machine spinner wasn't working correctly, he quickly replaced that for $20 and I was all repaired and back in business!
After finishing the gas dryer service and repair plus servicing of the washer he was out within about an hour. Overall he was very honest, professional and courteous. I gave a referral to a few people because I feel he was very upfront and honest and wasn't going to charge me for something that I didn't need. On a Sunday night washing clothes and dryer died. Messaged Gabe and he messaged right back. He didn't do any unnecesary work and everything a week later is working fine. Instead of being out an entire dryer... we kept it going for 180 bucks. Very nice and prompt... will use Gabe again.

My dryer decided to die right in the middle of laundry day! I sent a text to Gabriel as requested and he promptly replied and offered to come out on a Sunday afternoon. He did mention that he may not be able to get any parts that were needed though, since it was the weekend, so we arranged to meet on Monday. He showed up on time and was super professional but friendly. Awesome!! He was really quick about diagnosing the problem and presenting my options. In the end, I had him repair my dryer AND clean my dryer vent, though I did not actually include that in my request, he stayed and did it right then. His price was super reasonable (even less than quoted!!) and I even got a discount for finding him on Yelp. He cleaned up everything, had all the right tools and made great conversation at the same time!! I will always give him a call in the future if I need help with any of my appliances. What a great experience with Gabe from One Shot. He came out exactly at the time he said he would, even called to make sure I knew he was coming and that it was still convenient for me. After explaining what happened to my washer, Gabe went to work on it. He found 2 issues, went and got the parts he needed and the repair was complete in a little over an hour. He even ran a load of laundry to ensure it was fixed. The repair cost was very reasonable and about $200 under what a well known service company quoted me over the phone.This is the repair guy you are looking for- absolutely fantastic!!
Gabe at One Shot Installation is indeed a skilled and personable craftsman. We live in one of these old 1960 Sun City houses and our bathroom sink sprung a leak that had the potential to start a serious flood. Called Gabe and told him about it and he asked if I could send a picture. Sent the pic and he was here in 20 minutes (and this was late in the afternoon). He pointed out the problem and gave me several options regarding repair. Fixed it so it's like new again. This is a mighty honest, ethical and professional man. It was an absolute pleasure having Gabriel help us to have some ceiling fans installed. He was in constant communication and was always worried that someone was trying to over sell us on impossible dreams while we are in the process of remodeling. Gabriel took the time to also check the work that had previously been done in our home we recently purchased and fixed issues he found along with also educating us on tips to keep our appliances running at their best. The work aside which was top notch, Gabriel sat and talked to myself and my wife like he was an old friend which is something you can't put a value on when you have someone in your home for hours especially when you have a toddler running around terrorizing the house. Gabriel took the time after his work was complete to follow up multiple times over the next few days to give us the names and contact information for some tile installers he has worked with in various capacities because he knew the quality of their work and we had talked about my wife and I struggling to find someone to install our flooring and a new shower in our passing conversation. When the big box store we bought our appliances from couldn't install them because of some difficulties involved, we had to find another option. We are SO glad we found Gabriel. He did a great job of installing a range and a dishwasher for us and every time a challenge presented itself during the installation process, he took it on without complaint and resolved it. I contacted Gabe for a quote to install a dishwasher and disposal. I was quoted $180 over the phone. Lowes had quoted $129.50 for the dishwasher only. I went with Gabe because Lowes wouldn't have the same installer do both installations. While he ran into unexpected problems, Gabe was at my house for under 4 hours and charged $520. We were absolutely shocked. We have never paid anywhere near this rate for a service such as this.
Amazing work! I had contacted Gabe about coming to my house to see my dryer that was making a terrible screeching noise. Now just a bit of a back story a couple weeks ago we tried to have someone else come and view the issue just to tell us they could fix it and then wasting two hours working on the dryer to then telling us we should buy a new dryer from them and that our dryer wasn't that great of brand or dryer in general. Fast forward to today Gabe came to our house to view the dryer after asking him just yesterday to come. He is very great about communicating and responds promptly. He came and repaired the dryer in less than an hour. Now my father is a very hard man to please when it comes to repair work or any other work in our home. Yet, Gabe was able to accomplish the goal of having my father be very pleased with his work. Not only did he fix our dryer but he also was able to install a light fixture in my sisters room. Great quality work and I will definitely keep his number for any other issues that may arise in our household. Also, the pricing was great.
Gabriel is great to work with! For a few months we had yard lights in front of our house not working. We thought it might be the GFCI outlet they were plugged into, but decided it wasn't urgent, so we just had it on our to-do list. Then yesterday, the master bathroom outlets weren't working, and the problem seemed to be the GFCI outlet in the other upstairs bathroom that controls the master bath outlets. The GFCI kept shutting off even with nothing plugged into the outlets. Since that was more urgent, decided it was time to call an electrician, and to have both electrical problems fixed at the same time. Gabe was very quick to reply to the Yelp messages, and offered to come out that evening, but I wouldn't be available, so he was able to come out the next day (on a Saturday). He was flexible with the appointment time (due to my crazy schedule he was able to plan around it). He arrived when we planned, and was super pleasant and easy to talk to. He fixed both outlets and verified that everything was working properly. We will definitely call Gabe for any other issues we have, and highly recommend him!
Okay, so I haven't actually hired Gabe to do any work... yet. But he is on my contact list forever, and here's why. When my dryer broke, rather than collect his service fee to tell me it was something I could have fixed myself, he talked me through a couple of common problems - and the issue turned out not to be a broken dryer but a blocked lint vent in the house, which I easily remedied for a fully functional dryer. I called him again today to ask if he'd look at my front-loading washer, as the drum has stopped turning... and again he asked pertinent questions and will research costs of possible solutions, most of which sound to involve more cost than replacing the machine. Twice he has valued honesty and aiding the customer over collecting a service fee. This is the type of business I value highly and will return to again and again. By providing honest and helpful service, he has gained a loyal customer for life.

One of the best electrician service you can get in Phoenix area. Gabe communicates well and prompt service when you need an electrician he is there. He added a new breaker and an outlet for an EV. He is the one that will correspond with you until the installation and issue resolved. To tell you the truth, I had 6 companies that I've put the request in and Gabe was the only one professionally corresponded with me. His work is meticulously detailed and I give 6 stars if there was another start available. A++++ strongly recommended.
I was having an issue with my washer not draining properly and was coming up with an error message in the middle of washing a load. My mom found Gabriel on Yelp and after sending him the model number he came over the next morning. He was so nice which made me and my roomate feel very comfortable. He was able to figure out the problem very quickly. He even found out that our washer had not been put together correctly from the previous owner that we bought it from which was causing the washer to not drain. Called Gabriel late yesterday afternoon for work that needed to be done for a tenant in one of my rental units. Gabriel understood my desire to get this done quickly and although it was the Memorial Day weekend made a special trip to fountain Hills. After examining my wiring issue Gabriel suggestion was to contact the Internet provider direct as it would be more cost effective to do it that way although he was more than willing to accommodate me and do the work. I spoke with Gabe at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning about fixing a light on a dimmer switch that suddenly would not turn on. He was at another job but assured me he would call as soon as he knew what time he could come to me. He called around 11:30 and was at my home in 15 minutes. He did a fabulous job trouble-shooting what I had thought would be a simple fix. It took time and determination and I'm thrilled that my light is fixed at a very reasonable price for all the time and effort that was involved. About a week ago, my washer stopped draining water. My roommates boyfriend teared it apart to drained the water. I thought that for sure I was going to have to buy a whole new washer set. I found One shot installation online and decided to call. I was a little hesitant at first but then they won my trust. He was willing to come over and fix my washer that very night without any questions but we decided for the next day. The next day he came over and fixed my washer and on top fixed some electrical issues that I didn't know that I had. He was very flexible with time and getting things done! I was very pleased.
