They fixed my gate!! We bought this house 3 years ago and just gave up on having a working side gate. Then when the roof tiles starting falling off, we gave Frank a call. Not only did they do an excellent job, they also fixed my side gate! What!? Who does that!?!

Frank is trustworthy, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. Him and his team went above and beyond with my roof repairs. He explained the depth of repairs needed and gave me advice on the next steps. I feel comfortable knowing I can count on Frank for my future roof repairs.

Forget the other roofers (I'm referring to an unnamed competitor here on Yelp with a lot of good reviews) who will waste your time when you are in a hurry for a roof repair, or are misleading when you book an appointment!! I contacted one of the others listed here on Yelp with a lot of positive reviews and I had a very upsetting experience!! I then contacted Legacy Roofing and spoke directly with the owner who wowed me with his knowledge, professionalism and desire to help me out while in a very bad spot!! He is a native of Phoenix and has a very established and highly rated company!! After sharing my experience with my real estate agent, he too will now use and recommend Legacy Roofing!!

We sold a house and the inspector found some issues with the roof. I contacted the other company that I found on Yelp and explained the situation that the house is under contract and that the repairs needed to be done prior to close. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate. A couple hours prior to the appointment, the guy (he called himself a salesperson) called to see if he could come early. It didn't work for me but I was grateful he called so I could learn the ugly truth. He was going to give me an estimate BUT the work could not be completed for several WEEKS!! When I reiterated that our house was closing in a week and we couldn't wait WEEKS for the repair, his response was I'm sure the buyers will understand. NOT!! The repairs need to be DONE before the house closes next week!!

Needless to say I wasted days waiting for the other roofer to give me an estimate, not being told UP FRONT that they are WEEKS away from being able to complete a roof repair AND that they have a $750 MINIMUM!! My job was a minor job, NOT worthy of charging $750!!

I am so very GRATEFUL to Legacy Roofing for saving the day and securing a successful close on this home!! The work was done quickly, perfectly, professionally, AT A VERY FAIR PRICE, and we are SUPER HAPPY with our experience with Legacy Roofing!! This is my go-to company for roof issues for LIFE!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!! I had a small leak and hired Legacy Roofing LLC to fix my roof. They opened my roof and left to go do a different job.  They Left my roof completely open and the storm came that day and rained hard on my open roof for almost 1 hour!!! Not only that! But once they finished the roof completely they gave me a five year warranty. The roof repair that they did didn't even last 11 days!!! Storm came and I had so much leaking it was as if somebody left the hose in my attic on full blast for hours!! don't be fooled when they give you a warranty!! I had to chase them through the ROC (Registered of Contractor's) because they wouldn't come out on their own to fix it. Finally the judgment fell on Legacy Roofing LLC after almost 2 months of my time being wasted. Not only that I had to open up a large insurance claim of over $20,000 worth of damage that Legacy Roofing LLC caused on the inside of my property from their lack of workmanship!!! Not only that, but Legacy Roofing did not take any responsibility for the over $20,000 worth of damage!!!! My insurance company contacted Legacy Roofing LLC and the contractor would not give up his insurance information so that they could take responsibility for it. DO NOT use Legacy Roofing LLC they are very dishonest people!!! My wife and I went through the hardest time with this company and I would hate to see another family go through what we went through.

Thanks so much to a wonderful team for helping efficiently get my roof up to par!! They came quickly to give us a reasonable price and got the job done in just a few days!! They came in and inspected my whole roof and made sure everything was good all around on my roof and have helped get my roof and patio roof to excellent shape! I am so glade I chose Legacy Roofing. I had invited six other companies to come over and bid on my project. None of them are in the same league as Legacy. Not only did they do a fantastic job, them came in on time and on budget. They offered to paint the drip edge & birdstop to match my trim (313') at no charge. I asked them if it would be possible to replace a piece of Fascia that was rotted out (the other companies wanted to use Bondo). They replaced all the pipe jacks, t-tops & new state of the art dormer vents (the other companies wanted to reuse the old ones). They also covered our pool & landscaping. When the job was complete they recovered all the nails that had fallen, blew out my yard and then power washed the side walks, driveway & garage door. This is a class company that I recommend highly.

CUSTOMER BEWARE  DO NOT HIRE Legacy Roofing LLC

My husband and I  had the worst  experience with this company. Not only did they do a horrible job on fixing the roof, they give us a warranty for five years and when we asked them to come back and fix it  a Second time because of the horrible job that they did within weeks of their first attempt they chose to not honor the five year warranty.  Not only did they not choose to honor a warranty that they gave us we also had to chase them down and report them to the ROC ( registers  of contractors)  after the ROC came to our property to see the bad workmanship that Legacy roofing did, the judgment fell on Legacy roofing  and they were responsible for fixing the roof properly.  You would think that the second time that Legacy roofing would be on our roof issue would be resolved  but no. They had to come MULTIPLE times and attempt to fix the roof...  if anyone is looking into hiring Legacy Roofing and would like to speak to me about our experience we have tons of videos, pictures, along with text messages and emails and the ROC judgment letter to prove what Legacy Roofing LLC did to our property.

To make matter worse the LEGAL DEPARTMENT  Of my insurance company  had contacted Frank and Toby form Legacy Roofing and asked him to provide legacy roofings insurance information and he REFUSED to provide it and made up lies that he would lien the property. In which legally he had to right. So now because Legacy roofing  had someone advise them to Falsey threaten to Lein my home I am now stuck with paying HIGH  premiums  of a $20,000 interior damage  claim that is  Legacy roofing's Poor workmanship

By the way, What  legitimate roofing company takes  7 months to repair a 10x10 patch of roof

I would STRONGLY advise anyone reading this review look elsewhere for their roofing needs.

DO NOT HIRE LEGACY ROOFING LLC

Legacy took forever getting an estimate to me--a full week. The owner came out and spent about two seconds on the roof and a lot of time telling me how big their company is and the fancy vacation he was about to go on which would make it difficult to give me a timely estimate. This approach was completely unlike two other companies I talked to that actually spent time evaluating my roof and gave me their estimates on the spot. One of those I went with. I got my new roof a year ago. Sorry this review did not complete and post when originally written. Maybe Legacy has gotten better by now. It would not change anything for me, however, because I loved the service I got from the company I used and have referred them many times over. My roof is beautiful!

I could not have had a better experience with Legacy Roofing. I requested quotes from three companies before I decided to go with Legacy Roofing and I'm certain I made the right choice.  Legacy Roofing was not the cheapest (it was the middle quote), but their customer service, the quality of the materials they use, and their warranty encouraged me to go with them.
       Frank was incredible to work with. At first, I thought I only needed the roof on my mother-in-law house replaced, so I asked for an estimate of that. A few weeks later, I realized I also needed the roof on the main house replaced. I had to ask Frank to return to the house for a second quote. He was incredibly speedy, responsive, and kind both times. He visited the house within a couple days after I requested the estimate and sent the estimate within two days of visiting the house.
       I am currently a long-distance landlord so the process of having the roof repaired without physically interacting with the roofers and overseeing the project made me a bit nervous, but my first phone call with Frank eliminated all of my concerns. He intelligently and kindly answers all of my questions about the process of replacing the roof and the materials they would use.
      Once I committed to Legacy Roofing, they scheduled the repairs for one week later---so quick and efficient! When I had major trouble picking the shingle type and color, Frank spent his time emailing back and forth with me about the benefits/drawbacks of different options and colors. I tried to use an online home visualizer to help with the color pick, but it was not very useful so Frank ended up talking me through which colors he thought would work on my house and how the colors look different online than they do in person. His help was invaluable! Each time I emailed with a new (probably totally bothersome) question, he responded right away--even on weekends--and was very kind and thoughtful in his responses.
       Now that the roofs are replaced, they look FANTASTIC. I am so pleased with the color and style that Frank helped me pick out. Highly highly recommend Frank and his team.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. I wish I could post photos. They should stick with what they know how to do and not bid out other jobs. My balcony is a ruined mess.  If anyone wants photos of the finished product, just message me !

After a recent rainstorm while I was remodeling the inside of my house, I noticed the ceiling was wet in the family room. I realized I needed to get my roof replaced as I just had all the popcorn ceiling removed and ceiling textured.

I decided to look on Yelp for roofing companies. Since I had never had a roof replaced, I decided only to get estimates from companies which had 4 Stars or higher on Yelp. I had gotten estimates from the Top 5 roofers on Yelp.

After reviewing all the roof replacement estimates, I had decided to go with Legacy Roofing. Alex from Legacy Roofing fully explained the quote in detail. He explained why certain things had to be done to bring my roof up to code. He took pictures of my roof showing me past repairs which was just a band aid repair. I explained to Alex my concern in getting my roof replacement done ASAP and Alex and his boss Frank was able to schedule me in within 2 weeks. Other smaller roofing companies said it would be 4 - 6 weeks before they could start.

Legacy Roofing started on time. Frank kept in updated on the roof repair. One day while the roofers were working on my roof, one of the roofers noticed I was unloading some construction material from my pick-up and asked if I needed help unloading my pick-up! I couldn't believe after working on my roof all day he wanted to also help unload my truck. I declined his offer as I didn't want him doing any extra work.

As Legacy Roofing was wrapping up my roof repair, Frank had called me and mentioned that the roofers noticed I had some bulk trash in side yard and they could haul it away for me since they had their trailer already there. I couldn't believe it, my bulk trash of 3 toilets and miscellaneous construction waste was hauled away!

Not only did Legacy Roofing do a great job on my roof, but they went above and beyond to help me on non-roof related items!!!

I definitely recommend Legacy Roofing if you want your roof repair to start on time and replacement to go smoothly. 5 Stars*****

Frank from legacy roofing is great. It was during monsoon season and all the roofers I called said I basically said I was out of luck for 2 weeks. I called frank and he called me back right away and said he had a busy schedule but could come take a look at a house we were trying to buy on a Sunday morning. He came, wrote up a thorough estimate including pictures and discussed the findings with the seller. The sale of that house didn't go through for other reasons but then we used frank again for a second home we ended Up buying. He was again able to come and do an estimate for the patio roof of the house with enough time before the inspection period was over. The seller used him to do the repairs as he gave a fair price that lined up with the inspector's report. The job was very well done. I would definitely use this company again for any future roofing needs.

Legacy did an amazing job! They came out right away, gave me a very reasonable quote and made sure they check my entire roof for any issues. They schedule the work right away. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. They also do things the right way! Thank you Frank!

In the course of selling our Peoria, AZ home QUICKLY (offer made 16 days after listing and buyers anxious to move soon since their own home was closing), the inspection found some areas needing attention on the roof.  I called a number of places to be put off--'too busy to come soon', 'will be at least two weeks' were frequently heard. I finally contacted Legacy and they immediately made an appt the next day to have someone come out and give us an estimate. The person who did the actual work came shortly after and got the job done over the course of a few days. Couldn't be happier with their rapid response and good work which comes with a two year guarantee.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from Legacy Roofing.  I had an urgent time sensitive situation with a broken truss just days before I sold my condo.  The buyers were threatening to walk away from the deal.  I left a voicemail with Legacy Roofing after closing hours and still got a text within minutes asking for more information.  Frank ended up sending his guys out on a Saturday when they don't typically work.  Francisco and the other workers did an incredible job, made the buyers happy and prevented the deal from falling through.  If the roof ever needs replacing at my new house, I know exactly who I am going to call.  Thank you Legacy Roofing!

Legacy Roofing did an awesome job on our roof.  I highly recommend them!  They were prompt with getting us an estimate (day after I called), arrived on time, got the job done in one day at the estimated price, and cleaned everything up afterwards. They have an inspector come look at the job when it's completed to make sure it is done perfectly and totally cleaned up (including nails and staples).  He found some small issues and the crew came back to fix them and clean up more the next day, which happened to be a Saturday.  Wow!  They even power washed our driveway because their truck left a small spot.  Clearly they care about quality first.  Really easy to work with too.  Great communication throughout the process.  Thanks Frank!!!

Legacy was great to work with! I got five quotes asking if my roof could be fixed or needed to be replaced. ONLY Legacy was honest enough to tell me that we didn't need a full replacement and could get started as soon as possible since our leak was into my daughters room. They gave us a prompt estimate, got started as soon as we were ready, and kept me updated on progress the entire way. I would recommend Legacy to anyone in need of a new roof.

Frank Vanderzee is a very honest man. Quality underlayment double layer. 30 yr material warranty. Easy to work with.  Roofers were quiet, left our property clean everyday, roof is outstanding. We will not hesitate to recommend.

I found Legacy Roofing online and decided to contact them about my roof based on their reviews. They did not disappoint! Frank and his team were quick, efficient, and professional. We had several roof tiles threatening to fall on our AC after a large storm. Legacy responded to my call first thing and were out within 2 hours. The team was professional and pricing was fair. They were able to secure all the tiles. We definitely recommend this company.

When my husband and I decided to hire Legacy Roofing, we were initially very impressed with the company. Alex, an inspector, came out to our home and did a thorough inspection of the roof, complete with detailed pictures and explanations of the work that was needed. After the initial inspection was completed, my husband made sure to correct his phone number with Alex, as Alex had my husband's phone number incorrect on his paperwork.

After reviewing the quote given to us by Alex, my husband and I decided to hire Legacy roofing and made an appointment for our roof to be repaired on 5/10/17 @ 7am. On 5/10, the roofers were late. At 8:15am, I called the office and one of the owners, Frank, answered the phone. He was surprised no one had started work on my home, and informed me that he would call me back at the number I called him on asap to give me a status. 30 minutes later, Frank had not called me back, and I called the office again. Upon calling the office, a female employee answered and informed me that Frank had attempted to call me back, but had the incorrect phone number-- we had corrected the phone number on the account with the inspector the week prior. Frank called me back and informed me that the roofers would be arriving within an hour. So instead of starting the job at 7:00 as scheduled, the team arrived around 9:30am.

After the roofers finished their work, they left my home unannounced. There was no knock on the door and no phone call to say that the work had been completed- very unacceptable!  My husband and I had no idea if the work had been completed because no one bothered to update us or check in. My husband had to reach out to Frank, (it should have been the other way around) and was informed that the job was completed and that an inspector would be out the following day to inspect the work. I have never had work completed on my home, where a company did  not call when they were hours late and did not bother to inform the homeowners that the work was completed. We were very dissatisfied  with Legacy roofing by this point, and  the worst was yet to  come.

By 1pm the following day, no one had called to set up the final inspection. When I called Frank to inquire, he was less than concerned. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service thus far and the fact that no one had called us to set up the final inspection. I hinted that I felt that some type of compensation was due and all Frank could say was What is it that you want? He did not offer any sort of compensation for our dissatisfaction and just made excuses about how slammed his crew was with work. His lack of caring attitude was disheartening to say the least. Frank informed me that an inspector would be in contact with us shortly.

Alex, the inspector arrived around 3pm that day. Upon inspection, my husband was horrified to hear that the roofing crew had failed to complete a huge portion of work that was included in our initial quote. Our gutters were not cleaned and some of the mortar work had not been completed. Alex was very apologetic  and ended up doing 2 hours of work for us that day, in order to compete the job. Alex is Legacy's only saving grace. Unfortunately, Alex did not have the authority to offer any discount off of our bill for the incompetence of the roofing crew from the previous day, We paid our bill, and never heard anything from Frank, the owner. No apology, no explanation, nothing. We will never recommend Legacy roofing and will never use them again.

The reputation and integrity of the company is a reflection of the people who own, operate, and work for that company. My wife and I just had our roof replaced by Legacy roofing. These folks are amazing. On August 5th we called Legacy for an estimate on a leak repair and possible roof replacement. Toby, the owner met with us the very same day. He offered us a choice between the two. Our roof was 25 years old so we decided to replace it. That evening Nancy sent our quote via email, and the following day Toby's brother Mike brought us some samples to look at. By weeks end we had our order in for our new roof. Tear off on the old roof was completed on Monday August 10th and our new roof was completed on Tuesday August 11th, a day earlier than anticipated. The tear-off crew was courteous, professional, and thorough. Roof was dried in, stocked with material, and cleaned up in the same afternoon. Dan and his crew arrived the next morning for shingles. Despite the monsoon rain off and on all day they finished that afternoon. The folks at Legacy said what they were going to do, and delivered with flying colors. I would recommend legacy to anyone looking for an honest roofing company for any roofing needs. Thank you so much for a job well done. We love our new roof!!

As a first-time home owner, I have never before replaced my roof.  Legacy Roofing was a referral from a friend, and I included them in my list of estimates.  Not only did they come up the least expensive quote of the three I called, they came in with the best warrantee on the work.  Frank answered all my questions, and his crew did the work and left the site neat.  I am very glad I found out about them, and will refer this company to all who ask.

Very honest and reliable contractor.  Worth every penny.  Frank will make sure the job is done right the first time.

We contacted Legacy Roofing to fix some broken tiles on the roof of our new house.  They provided an email quote that suggested gluing the tiles with silicone rather than replacing them.  We called them and asked that the tiles be replaced.   They came to the house and glued the tiles with silicone, despite the fact that we had told them to replace the tiles.   The silicone barely held the tiles together and was totally inadequate.   We hired another contractor to replace the siliconed tiles, who charged us half what Legacy Roofing quoted just to glue them.  Of course a dispute ensued, where Legacy Roofing demanded payment.  I have never been called a cray by anyone before.  But Nancy, their financial officer, certainly took no time to begin the verbal abuse.  They did not do the work they were supposed to, demanded payment, and ended up charging twice as much for a repair as someone else charged for a full replacement.  We settled with them as they took their collections demand out on the broker who had introduced us to them, and it became an issue of honor, but I can assure you that there was no honor on their end.  I would suggest that you avoid this vendor if you can.  There are quite a few positive reviews for this company and they look good.  But you really don't know about a company until things go bad to see how they behave, and when things went bad for me, Legacy Roofing totally lost it and behaved in a manner appropriate for a 2 year old child having temper tantrums.

Great company !!! Met with Frank on a Wednesday and by Friday he had his crew at my house working. I am very pleased with the service they provided and will highly recommend to my friends.

After searching quite awhile for a good roofing company, I was immediately impressed by Legacy Roofing. They came out to give me an estimate right away for all new underlayment (and actually showed up on time). Once we signed the contract, the crew did a great job on the roof. The project manager kept me informed of their progress daily.  They made sure I was 100% percent happy with everything. I would definitely recommend Legacy Roofing.

Legacy is amazing. I had sent quote requests to close to 10 companies, and Legacy was the only one that responded the same day (possibly even within an hour of receiving my request). We had an emergency situation with some improperly applied roofing cement (from a previous contractor - not Legacy!) and it very quickly caused a whole host of serious problems to the point where we were unable to stay in our house. Legacy was extremely concerned about it and made it a priority to come out right away, even though I think they were super booked - they wound up coming out on a Saturday, and I don't think they normally work weekends. The price was amazing as well. They were more accommodating, honest, kind, and knowledgeable than any other roofing contractor I've ever dealt with, and we were extremely happy with the quality of their work. Not only did they come through for us more quickly than any other contractor (and they understood right away what we needed), their work was superior as well. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Recent rains revealed the integrity of our tile roof was not as good as believed. Called Frank V to get a quote on finding and repairing the leak. Made an appointment for the next day, he arrived on time, reviewed the issue and stated they could fix the problem as well as address some needed general maintenance to the roof. His roof tech was there the next day, job finished and cleaned up nicely. Even cleaned up a bit of a mess on the roof that a recent arborist left after trimming some trees. As I couldn't be home at the time of the repair, they even took pics of before during and after the repair to show the condition and repair job and emailed them to me. Reasonable pricing, fast response, excellent punctuality, clean workmanship....what more can one ask. Highly recommended! When the time comes to do the big underlay replacement (roof is 19 years old), I will definitely be calling these guys again.
