Elan Electric

Immediately scheduled, came on time and completed the work as described. After working with lots of contractors these past couple of months, just coming when you say you will is greatly appreciated!

They are professional and do good work. I could drag this review out, but there's not much more to say than that!

I have used Elan two previous times and were quite happy on what the did. This time I needed a floor heating system hooked up and Thermostats installed.
I had the thermostats, supplied by the tile installer. They were somewhat unfamiliar with this system and had to read all the instructions as they only install this type of system one other time. And when it came to setting it up had to guess on one thing. Not sure if it is right.
Floor heater is working in both bathrooms and there is some work I need to do to button it up. I just wish they would of sent more knowledgeable people out to do this project. Especially for what I paid.

Great Customer Service.  Very professional and highly recommended.  Serviced my generator and made sure to explain process in detail.

Joseph was on time and did an excellent job at putting up our carriage lights on sides of garage.  He is knowledgeable and a quick and tidy worker.  We highly recommend Elan Electric and will call again when we need electrical work done.

I had some fixtures and skylights installed. Andrew and Justin were fantastic. They were very helpful in choosing the best solution for us. They were efficient and clean.  I will use Elan Electric again for any electric needs I may have and I can't recommend them highly enough.  If there were six stars I would give them.

This is the second time I have used Elan Electric. Once for adding an outlet to my patio and this last time was to fix two bad outlets. The people at Elan are very responsive and friendly. They keep you informed of any major delays and do heat work. I will use Elan exclusively for any future electrical work. I trust and recommend them.

We had Elan Electric install recessed lighting in my sewing room. We didn't have long to wait for an appointment. It was not only done in a timely manner but the installation was very professional. The techs who did the installation were very respectful of our home and prepared the room as it should have been along with good clean up after the job was completed. We would strongly recommend them for your electrical needs. The lighting is wonderful and looks great in the room.

Have used them twice.  First time to put cieling fans in bedrooms and second time ( today) to put new electrical outlet behind TV to hide the cords.  Extremely punctual and very pleasant to work with.  I was able to schedule both times via e mail which I appreciated.

They will be our to go electricians from here on out!!

I had a Whole House Exhaust Fan installed in August and it  cut down by about 3 or 4 hours the time we had to start the ac in the morning. Saving money on our APS bill. It creates a comfortable breeze through the house in the evening and cools the core temperature through the night. I sized the unit up one size, making it more efficient and able to run on low or medium speed instead of on high after the startup clears the attic space of the days heat. Elan's installation crew was very professional, the install was neat and clean. I would recommend them for any more work needed.

Amazing service from the first phone call with Jim to the install by Tom. Prompt, courteous, informative and friendly. They are definitely my go to Electricians from now on.

Started the general generator process with Jimmy. He was knowledgeable and very professional. When the generator arrived Tom and Gunnar did the installation. They were on time every day, ready to work. Both gentlemen were courteous and very professional. Tom was very patient in explaining the operation of the equipment. They installation of the power boxes was neat and clean. They cleaned up after they completed the job and gave us some trouble shooting ideas as well as information on the product app. We were very pleased. Elan Electric is a first rate Electrical company snd to date we have had 3-4 opportunities to used them. We have used several different technicians for various jobs and everyone we have seen is extremely competent. If you need a great electrician call Elan Electric!

We were moving into a new house and called on these guys for an estimate. I talked to Jim on the phone who was great and very detail oriented. The electrician called before arrival that day and wanted to know more about the project to make sure he had everything in his truck he needed. He showed up early, asked if he should mask up which he did and proceeded to do the work. If you ever need some electric work done I would highly recommend these guys. I will be calling them again.

Had these guys come out and address a few electrical issues and them ended up calling them out again to  install a few wall heaters. Each time they came out they were professional and quick to get the job done. Even the person I called to set up the job was really kind and took the time to answer some questions I had. I would highly recommend them to address any electrical issues again.

Prompt and very punctual the tech wore his mask and was extremely helpful The quote was less than the actual bill but the tech did an excellent job and was happy with the service provided for the price I paid. I would happily recommend and will use them again.

I recently had a power surge affect my house. It damaged some light bulbs and power strips and nearly set my house on fire. I replaced the bulbs and power strips myself, but I could still smell that burnt wire smell coming from the outlet in the bathroom. I also had an outlet in the kitchen that would get hot if I used it and it had been like that for years so I was not using it.  So I called Elan and they sent TJ over and he replaced both outlets and also discovered the bathroom light switch needed to be replaced as well. He also checked my circuit breaker box for any possible damage from the power surge because I was concerned about that. He did everything quickly in about 30 minutes which keeps the labor cost down. He was very nice, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, prompt and efficient.  I would definitely recommend Elan Electric.

Our home was built in 1991 and we've been living with recessed fluorescent lighting in our kitchen and lamps in our living area for almost 30 years. Elan (Andrew and Joseph) installed LED pot lights in both areas and under cabinet lighting in our kitchen, and we are thrilled. We wish we had done this years ago. Andrew and Joseph were great! We highly recommend Elan.

These guys are great! A couple of weeks ago i needed my smoke detectors checked out. Andrew was on time and seemed to check out the smoke detector very thoroughly. And the verdict was what I expected, we needed new ones. He changed all six of our smoke detectors out expeditiously. He explained everything to me and answered all my dumb questions. Andrew was very friendly and professional.
I asked him about putting in a ceiling fan in one of our bedrooms. He took the time to check it out and said it should be no problem and to get a fan and then call Elan and they will do it. I did just that about two weeks later. I talked to Jim and he made sure they new what I needed. Andrew and Joseph came out (on time again) and drilled and wired etc the new Ceiling fan. Very professional guys. Cleaned up and again answered all me questions. In short I would use Elan Electric Inc anytime. They are professional, on time and reasonable priced. In short: Great!

I called Elan based on the number of positive reviews and I'm glad I did.
My experience with Elan was positive from the first telephone conversation.  I had a number of questions and I found them so thorough in explaining everything and giving some good advice. TJ came to do the work and he was professional, engaging and helpful.  He installed two light fixtures, helped me with a problem with a kitchen light, fixed two outlets, and removed electrical wiring associated with a removed fountain.  I felt the price was reasonable and I would absolutely use them again.

Jim is awesomeness, what can I say. I arrived home to no electricity in half the kitchen, refrigerator side of coarse. Flipped the switch at the breaker and still nothing. I called to have someone come out and he instructed me to flip completely off then on for a complete reset which totally worked. I will definitely use this company when I have an issue of that nature and tell everyone I know. Thank you soooooooooo much!

We bought a house knowing it has some minor electrical issues. Elan found some major issues that the inspector missed and the more work they did the more they found. To shorten the story, they made the safety of my family the priority, did not take any short cuts and did a very professional job. Can't go wrong with these guys.

I had a circuit breaker problem where it would not reset. I found Elan Electric on Yelp with decent reviews so I called then. The tech arrive early in the cold morning, and fixed the problem right away. Personally I think the charge was a bit high for the work performed, but that part was reduced by a discount coupon found. All in all, I think he did a great job and I probably would call them again if I need another electrician.

I recommend these folks very highly. I had a complicated job that they ended up making simple. I very much appreciated the extra time and attention they took to get the problem solved...very efficiently too I might add.

Based on Yelp reviews I chose Elan to do all the electrical upgrades & fixes to our newly purchased home in Prescott. My list generated 3 days of work for two men. Jason & Andrew were professional, prompt, hardworking, smart, clean & genuinely nice men. They did everything on the inspectors list plus everything I requested. I have new fans in 3 bedrooms, a proper hardwired smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, properly wired panel & sub panels. A new doorbell, wall heaters disconnected & removed and a new exhaust fan in the guest bath. My kitchen now has all GFI outlets. The microwave has its own circuit and numerous wall switches were replaced. There was an inspection identified  fault they corrected which was not an easy fix. They did it all perfectly & maintained their pleasant nature's throughout the 3 days. It never seemed a problem that they were working for a woman. They couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I highly recommend this company!

We just installed 3 QuietCool Stealth Pro fans today.  One 7.0 and two 2.5's. It was 97 degrees today and I can't imagine how hot it was in the attic they had to work in.  Two young men (Jimmy & Nate) worked 12.5 hours installing these fans and their same great attitude from 7am this morning was here until they left.  The job was top notch and I say that being very meticulous.  They even leveled the faceplates and had the screws facing the same direction (that's attention to detail I don't even do) and I did not ask for that.  They were conscientious to keeping the space clean and minimizing dust. They tarped and taped where needed.  I actually had to tell them to stop cleaning before they left so they could just go home after a long hard day. They sought my approval to all fan and controller locations and waited patiently as I debated with myself the best placement. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this product, company and especially these two young men performing the work.  This system was not cheap but I truly felt I got my moneys worth in product performance and the OUTSTANDING and professional customer service.  I have already scheduled additional work with them based on todays service.  Back to the product.  I had installed these back when the company first formed. I have been a big fan and proponent to these quiet and efficient systems.  Given the cool nights here, I can expect to get my money back quickly in not having to use my A/C to cool the house and it's furnishings.  I turned the A/C off immediately once installed and already the house is cooler than with the A/C on.  Thank you Jim for the great and fair pricing for this system and the fine young man you raised that installed it.  Kudo's EEI for a great job done here!
A quick update the next morning.  My house was 67 degrees.. Yay!  All that stored heat is gone including my upstairs bonus room.  I can start the day with stored coolness and maybe not need the air at all. I couldn't be happier with this system.

On Sunday night, one of my ceiling light fixtures began spewing major sparks - scary!  I called Elan Electric on Monday morning and Robert came out within an hour.  After a quick analysis, he determined the light fixture was bad and removed it.  Great service at a reasonable price and I'll definitely call them back to install the new fixture once I buy it.  They are licensed, bonded and insured.  Highly recommended.

Great company. They did a lot of work for us in our recently purchased home. Very helpful, responsive, and awesome customer service. Highly recommend Elan for any electrical work. Jeff and Jason are great to work with.

Elan Electrical helped us out. We just moved into our home and the dryer outlet did not match our dryer. They were able to fit us into their schedule quickly. The electrician knew what he was doing and on the other electrical work that he did, he was able to offer a valuable solution to resolving the lack of an electrical outlet next to our bathroom sink. I think their prices are fair and I would call them again.

Had them out for two minor jobs. All the workers were friendly and very helpful on the electrical problems. Also very prompt and very reasonable.

Moved to town, needed the new house tuned up.  Josh came over and fixed everything we needed.. Including installing new plugs for microwave in kitchen, installing new circuit for ceiling fan/light in arizona room, and figuring out spotlights in both bathrooms. And along the way educated us, gave us some good tips, and was courteous and professional. Fairly priced, very satisfied with the service. For any future needs, we will call him back without a doubt. 5 stars, way to go.

This is currently the only negative review of EEI on Yelp I am aware of, but hear my experience.  Because of EEI's high ratings on Yelp, I contacted them for a bid on some work on my home (increase power to garage).  Their foreman promptly came to my house and provided a ballpark bid, which I accepted (assuming the official bid would be close), and was told a formal bid would be forthcoming.  It never came.  However, EEI electricians showed up a few days later to do the work, but they did not have an invoice or know the cost.  They started working, for about an hour, and the owner of the company calls his employee at my home and conveyed that the job would cost about 40% more (~$2000 more) than the original ballpark bid.  I stopped the work.  EEI did not get paid and I did not get the work done on my home.  The owner emailed me that I had agreed to time+materials, which is nonsense.  I liked the electricians/foreman working for EEI, but management not so much.

Team was very professional and knew for sure what they were doing. Fix my issue and two others. Also came same day i called. 4 stars cause it was a little pricy.
