I called Cummings, because I thought there might be termites in our garage. When I called, I was told Nate would be out to see us in roughly one business day. I was pleasantly surprised to get such an immediate response.

When Nate came out, he looked at all the spots in question and told me I had lizard poop on the garage walls. It was not termites as once was suspected. What a relief.

Nate proceeded to walk the entire inside/outside of the home and gave us an education into Bugs 101. My wife and I learned a lot and Nate could not have been more professional.

Five stars is my rating for Cummings Termite and Pest control. I hope you have the same fantastic experience we encountered.

New to the area and had never had to deal with scorpions before. After seeing one in the house and calling Cummings I feel much more informed. From my call to their office, to service at my house I am impressed! Great customer service, knowledge, professionalism, and value. Debbie in the office was very helpful and Brent was knowledgeable, professional, and through. So happy I chose to call Cummings!

Thomas is our tech. Ask for him, he is so nice, gentle and caring.
Great value for your fair monthly service fee.
Cummings was in my neighborhood in 1984 and still serves South Scottsdale at the quality of care we found 35 years ago.
This is a family owned business and not a mega company owned by a corporation. The office people will know your name.
We did not use for termite treatment. We use Cummings for monthly pest control.

Long story short, they came quickly and saved the day. Courteous people.

We were starting a bathroom remodel and as soon as workers opened the wall they found termites. I'm in Chicago while my wife is in Scottsdale for the project and was totally panicked. I knew our Condo Association used Cummings, so I called them at about 7:30am forgetting the time zone difference. The very friendly attendant said the manager just happened to be nearby to our location and he came over about two hours later. He inspected the area plus found another infested area behind a large wall mirror on a different wall that we never noticed. Happily, they were able to come treat our condo that morning and the project was not delayed.

I'm not going to suggest that everyone could have such fortunate luck by having technicians in area with time to do the job, but I'm sure happy with them. Everyone involved was very courteous. I should add that four years ago carpet installers found termites under the carpet they just removed and ANOTHER company took two weeks to come and treat.

My family has used Cummings for the past 3 years now for termites, and they've been great. We went under warranty with them and have called them out a few times within that period--they've come promptly and have honored their agreement every time. Stand-up company.

No one loves pest control, but let's face it, it's a pesky necessity in our beautiful desert environment. We've noticed a few small critters in our home recently, plus one dreaded scorpion, so I called Cummings Pest Control, the company we've used for several years.

Out came Jeffrey, one of the nicest techs I've met. Our concern is that we live in a zoo - 3 dogs, 3 cats and 1 22-year-old African Grey parrot who has the run of the house. The thought of toxic chemicals that could harm any of our companion animals is a real concern. Jeffrey was understanding and informative, explaining that I could simply wait 30 minutes to ensure the internal application was entirely dry. Cummings uses a mixture that is not toxic to animals so long as it is dry - even if a pet eats a bug that has died as a result of the pest control product. Jeffrey worked quickly, efficiently and was unfailingly pleasant to talk with. Thanks, Cummings, for a job well done, and an employee who goes that extra step with clients. You're lucky to have him.

Recently had Cummings pest control out to the house. I started noticing unwanted visitors mainly large cockroaches that decided to take residence in my home. I was less than please with their visit. I called Cummings and they had a tech out right away.

Josh was absolutely great. He was extremely polite and very informative. I was concerned that the product would have negative effects on my dog. Josh educated me that the products used were safe and very effective.

I would highly recommend using this company for any pest control.

They're fine at killing termites, just not very good at scheduling.
As part of my warranty renewal I tried to schedule an inspection.
The morning before the first scheduled appointment they call and say the technician had to cancel.
The second week I didn't get a call, but the technician just didn't show up, so I called to find out what happened and they didn't know, so we had to reschedule.
Third week they call an hour before the appointment and say the technician has called in sick.
I'm fairly certain their technician doesn't like working Fridays. Very frustrating to try and accommodate my work schedule around whenever their technician wants to work. After my warranty is up I'll not renew.

Had a really good experience working with Cummings and their exterminator Jeff S. It took a little thought and planning, but we were able to nail the little bugger getting into the attic. Jeff was always personable, respectful, on-time, and just a really honest nice guy. I hope to not need Jeff or Cummings again, but it's nice to have access to an exterminator who is professional and friendly what a critter problem arises.

As a Coldwell Banker agent I am very careful about who I refer to my clients. Cummings Termite & Pest Control is one of the companies that I feel comfortable referring.
Recently Cummings Termite & Pest Control hired Debbie Burnett a well known Arizona professional pest inspection specialist. This was a smart move.
I whole heatedly recommend that anyone needing a fair, honest, and professional pest/termite inspection call Cummings Termite & Pest Control and request that they send Debbie Burnett to the rescue!

We are happing to share with everyone the outstanding services we received yesterday from Cummings and especially April and Josh. We have been having an on-going bee problem and were growing more frustrated each day dealing with some of the competitors. We had called Cummings initially, but I was a bit reluctant about the minimum of $250 to come out since it was bees. I now realize that it would have saved us a lot of time and heartache and probably money if we'd gone with this company in the beginning.

When I called and spoke with April, she took the time to actually listen to my problems. She set us up with Josh who was experienced and she felt with be the best fit for our bee issues. Josh came out right on time and was very diligent in trying to find our hive. Because of his experience and thorough efforts, he finally found it and removed about 15 pounds of honey and hive, without damaging our home.

I called Cummings Pest Control when after several months, I was not getting the results I had hoped for with another pest control company. I had issues with roaches and more recently, earwigs that were entering through cracks in my bathtub caulking. They were able to get a tech out in just a couple of days for just a bit higher price than I had paid for the other company. Josh was extremely professional, polite, knowledgeable and thorough. I'm very happy with the results...no more roaches and earwigs are doa in my bathtub, so a quick rinse down the drain and they're gone. Next job, seal the cracks in my bathroom!

Cummings took over the company that we originally used, and since they have taken over we have had nothing but problems.

I haven't seen a single bug in years in my house and as soon as we started using Cummings we've found a bug almost every single day and not just 'bugs' but cockroaches. I called Cummings to ask them about why this was happening and the receptionist was extremely rude saying they didn't do anything wrong. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Needless to say I will be finding a new pest control company today.

They came out and treated. The cost was a little high and the problem still persisted.

After calling to request another visit we were told that the only time they could come was during the morning when we both aren't free...

If this was my business and I was coming out to correct a problem.....I would make it convenient for the customer. I guess this is not how Cummings Pest Control does things....

As far as Cummings effectiveness against bugs in the house, I'm neither here nor there. We have a contract for them to come out every 2 months. We still have our ant problem and we still get bugs in the house. The annoying thing for me is the bug guy who stops by our house 2- 3 hours before our scheduled appointment time. Is it better than being late? I'm not so sure it is. The bug guy calls and leaves messages on our voicemail that he is at our house and wants to treat the house sooner (of course it always a time that is not convenient for me). When I explained to the scheduling lady the concept of an appointment (which is I schedule a time that works for me and they schedule a time that works for them/bug guy), I was told they would speak to him about arriving early. Now he just waits in our driveway until I get home. Perhaps I am being paranoid but the guy gives me the creeps! As soon as our contract is up, it will be 'Smell you later, Cummings!!'
