I had a broken water main in my front yard (oh joy!). Erik was actually my second estimate for the repair. He was very thorough in explaining what exactly happened, the different ways to fix it, and cost differences. He matched the price the first company gave me, AND he was able to fix it a week sooner.
This man works his butt off. This is his own company so he cares about his reputation, AND I'm all about supporting small businesses. He kept me updated via text while he was repairing it (I was at work), and even promptly returned when a second small leak sprung up after he was done. At no charge. He sadly had to dig up our nice grass, but he seemed to care about returning it back to as normal looking as possible. He cares about details.
Plumbing issues suck, but I don't feel like I got ripped off. Very comforting feeling. I hope to not need any plumbing repairs in the future, but whenever that arises, Erik will be my first phone call. Highly recommend!!!

Eric replied to my VM immediately and did not try to jack the price up at all due to where I lived. I had him replace three toilettes, and look at two shower head faucets. The job was done in a timely manner and the cost was about average. I've got him in my 'Trusted contractors' list which I keep on hand though, because when you find a decent electrician, plumber, or anything out here you damn well remember their name!
Great experience! Eric came by and fixed my toilet that had a small leak. Easy fix for him! He waited until the tank filled to make sure all was well. My cats liked him too, so that is a good sign. Trustworthy and excellent customer service. Hope I don't need their services again, but if I do, I would definitely use again!

No ability to contact through Yelp. I thought the whole point of Yelp is enabling that green request a quote button over to the right to greatly simplify contacting the business. I much prefer electronic contact over phone tag and/or stepping away from my desk (my job) to go outside the building to make a personal call because you are only open when I'm at work.
Their website contact form doesn't work. I seriously filled out the form more than once.
I left a voicemail and they don't return my call (it's been a week now).
Pass. These people apparently don't want my business. Please delete your page on Yelp. Looking for another plumber.
I had Erik of CTR Plumbing come out to replace the filters of an R/O system I'd had installed by another fairly well known company. While Erik was working on the filters he noticed we only had a line running to the refrigerator, and not one to the sink. He asked why this was, and I told him that it was because the original worker who installed the system seemed very nervous about drilling through my granite, which in turn made me nervous, so we didn't have it done. We'd just lived with the slow filtered water pressure from the dispenser on our fridge. Erik assured me this was an easy fix for someone who knew how to do it, so we had him drill through the granite and install a spigot right there at the faucet. He did a fantastic job, and it's been so wonderful to be able to fill up water bottles, pots, and the dog's bowl at the sink instead of the fridge.
While he worked, Erik was friendly and offered to answer any plumbing questions I had. I mentioned that our water heater had gone out 3 different times in the 5 years we'd lived in the house. Even though it was currently working fine, he offered to take a look at it, and discovered our water softener wasn't grounded correctly, and suggested that might be contributing to the water heater failing. We had him fix this as well, something none of the other plumbers had looked for or noticed before while replacing the broken water heaters.
Erik went above and beyond my expectations. His work was fantastic and I will definitely call him again when we need an honest experienced plumber.
Eric came over to my house and helped get my RO system up and working. We had a leak from one of our filters and a slow air leak in our tank. He fixed both and my I have ice and water again. He was extremely polite and respectful of my house. He was quick to get my on the schedule and gave me a quote on the spot for the other things we wanted installed. Very happy with the service. We chose CTR Plumbing because of the great reviews on Yelp. Erik proved that all the reviews are well deserved! Erik was here on time and even called 30 minutes before his arrival as promised. He diagnosed where the leak was coming from, why the problem occurred, how to fix it and how to prevent any future issues.
Erik was knowledgeable, professional and customer service oriented. He wrote a comprehensive report and sent it to our insurance company the same evening of service, as promised. He even gave us advice on a new garbage disposal we had purchased and not yet installed. After reading reviews on the product, we are taking Erik's advise and purchasing a stainless steel disposal and returning the other one. We decided that we will have Erik install the disposal because of his reasonable installation price and the excellent warranty he offers on his work.
I had a leaking shower drain that was incorrectly repaired by our former home warranty company's contractor. Fortunately I found CTR Plumbing through Yelp and Erik came out the same day to properly fix the problem left by the other guys.

Really thankful to have found my plumber for life. I used roto rooter at first to help us with a leak in the attic and water softener problems. Roto rooter came in and didn't even know what was the issue, but tried to sell us a water conditioner without solving our problem. Roto rooter also referred us to a shady restoration company that racked up our insurance bill.
After all of that, I decided to look up yelp and found CTR Plumbing and contacted Erik. He knew the issue over the phone, and came out earlier than scheduled and helped us out with the situation. Extremely professional and cares for your situation and laid out exactly what needs to get done.
We've never been through this type of situation and I'm thankful that I found CTR Plumbing and will use them and refer them to anyone with plumbing issues.
This last weekend, I noticed it was damp around my water heater. After dealing with the outfit my home warranty company sent me to ( different review) I refused their work and started looking for a good plumber on Yelp. I found CTR Plumbing to be in my area and had high reviews, so I gave them a call. Erik answered, gave me a ball park quote to replace the water heater, and said he could be out within an hour.
Erik was prompt, professional, friendly, and gladly answered any and all questions that I had. We talked over different options, and he explained those options throughly. He came out, assessed the situation, and said there were actually none of the extra issues the other company said needed to be fixed. He had the water heater replaced within a couple of hours, hauled the old one away, and all for around the same amount the other outfit quoted as extra work.
I was glad to give this locally owned and owner operated company my business, and I highly recommend him.

Erik was very accommodating of my schedule, reliable in notifying me before coming and if he was running late. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My husband's honey-do task of fixing a bathroom faucet become a honey-nightmare yesterday, as the faucet and valve broke -- and water was spraying all over my house. After finally getting the water turned off, I called our plumber who didn't answer because it was Sunday.
Found this company based on its Yelp reviews and they answered on the third ring! Yay! Erik came over later and knew exactly what the problem was, explained every detail to my husband, and quickly made the repair. Professionalism and service are obviously the pride of this company. I have had so many repair people in my house whom I felt I couldn't trust. Not him. Erik was friendly and respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and affordable! What else would you want?
Later that night, we learned the pilot light on our water heater had gone out when we turned the water off. Erik came back and went the extra mile to fix that too -- for free!

Eric is a fantastic plumber! We have used him many many times over the years. He has answered the phone at 6 in the morning when our basement sump pump stopped working during a rain storm and was at our house within the hour fixing the problem knee deep in water! He saved our basement from flooding! He has changed out our water heaters, fixed toilet issues and numerous other plumbing issues over the years. He is friendly, reliable, and affordable compared to most companies. If you need someone to talk to he's great at that too! He's a talker! (That last comment is for your kids Eric!) I highly recommend CTR plumbing to anyone.
My home warranty sent out 2 different companies. Both said that I had a problem with my sewer and wanted to fix it for me. One said that there were roots in my line and they would replace a small section. They never provided an official quote, but they were talking about somewhere between $3000 and $5000. The other told me that my whole line needed replaced, as there is a crack running all the way through. They quoted me $10,000. I found CTR on Yelp. I sent a request for a quote to 4 different places. Erik provided me his phone number right away and talked to me about what was going on. He viewed the video I had of the line and told me that there is nothing wrong with my line, but he would need to do a higher quality video to give a final quote. He originally thought that he could do a spot lining inside of the sewer to keep out roots.
When he came out, he discovered that the roots are not in my line at all. They are in the city's line! He did discover that my line had become disconnected from the city line. He called the city and worked with them to get things taken care of. The city came out today and confirmed that the issue is on their property. They will reconnect my line to theirs and get the roots out of their line at no cost to me!! I am incredibly grateful to Erik for taking the time to explain what he was seeing in my line and my options the whole way through. My uncles are plumbers in Illinois, and they double checked and agreed with what he was telling me. He is very trustworthy and helpful. I highly recommend him. He does have a travel fee if he leaves the East Valley. I found it worth the fee to have him come out for something so complicated and potentially expensive.
We had a sudden problem with sewage coming up into one of the bathtubs. We feared the worst that it was going to be very expensive to fix. Erik came out the same day we called and quickly resolved the issue. We felt he gave us a great deal on the cost as well. We'll definitely be using CTR Plumbing again in the future and trust them to treat us right.
CTR plumbing did a great job replacing my water heater, pressure regulator and hose bib. He showed up on time and was very professional and explained everything that was done. Being a small business his prices were very fair and I saved a lot $ rather going with a big plumbing company. I would recommend CTR plumbing!
Scheduled an appointment and Erik came out today. He was professional, personable, reasonably priced, and did great work. I had valves that were leaking outside next to the hose which has been an ongoing issue since I purchased this house. The leak recently got pretty bad and was filling a bucket of water per day. Erik walked me through the construction of the set up and showed me that the valve was not actually serving any purpose as it was not connected to anything. He was able to remove the unnecessary valves that were causing the issue. The set up is now much more simple and most importantly, no longer leaking! While Erik was here, I also had him disconnect a second washing machine I had set up in the garage that was no longer in use.
From the time I called him, he had a very quick response time (called me back within 5 minutes), came out as scheduled and completed the work. I have used other plumbing services in the past but never felt compelled to write a review. I will be calling him for any future plumbing needs I may have!
CTR plumbing came to my house around early Feb 2017 in Gilbert, AZ to install pressure regulator, after I learned that the water pressure in my house was very high. I am a new homeowner and I chose CTR plumbing based on the reviews.
I talked to Erick on the phone to schedule an appointment and he was very informative. He gave me a price range of $300-$800, based on my plumbing situation and how difficult the job would be. Based on personal experiences with a price range, I was expecting a bill of somewhere around $500-$700.
After sending some pictures via text messages, Erick gave me a quote of mid $300. Being as pessimistic as I was, I thought that there will be extra fees and the bill would end up around my initial expectation.
Erick showed up, did the job well, finished it quicker than my expectation, and took his time to answer all of my questions. Erick was very friendly and made me feel like I was talking to a long-time friend that really know his stuff, even though that was the first time I met him. I was very satisfied with his work, plus he gave 2 years warranty for both labor & parts. The final price ended up to be the price quote that he told me, without any additional charges. He said he would have told me in advance if there would be anything additional.
A job that had an estimate price of $300-$800 ended up costing me mid-$300. Being a new homeowner, I would already be mentally prepared if he charged me around $500-$700. However, Erick was really honest and not just money hungry like some other plumbers in my past experiences. He finished the job well (I do monitor the water pressure after his work), has reasonable pricing, took his time to answer all my questions, and treat me like a friend. CTR plumbing has earned my trust and my business for my future plumbing needs.

Erik is amazing! When we discovered roots in our shower drain our home warranty company stated that they were impossible to remove and it would cost thousands of dollars to redo the plumbing (even under warranty!). In search of a second opinion I called CTR Plumbing and Erik came out that evening to look at the problem and give me a quote. Within 30 minutes he was able to get the drain flowing again, saving us the thousands that the home warranty company claimed we had to spend! Since then he has come out to our home multiple times to fix various issues and has always shown up on time and been honest, friendly, and professional and always takes the time to explain everything he does in a way that is easy to understand.
You HAVE to use this company. I don't say this lightly.
Summary: extraordinary service, goes WELL above and beyond what I would consider any other plumber would do, fair pricing, ridiculously fast response time (less then 2 hours my case). I could not recommend this company more highly.
Experience: Our water heater was not working. He came out promptly and diagnose the problem as having a bad thermostat and a burned out wire and set out on the repair for a reasonable price. Once he started the repair he realized the the wire had fried all the way back behind the insulation and was toast. It was under warranty so he gave us the info on how to get it set up at Home Depot and he would pick it up and only charge for picking up and installation. Very long story but GE's warranty policy lacks customer service. He ended up getting a refund because they no longer carry GE and the refund didn't cover the cost of the equivalent in the brand they now have($100 difference). So, he went to his supplier and got the brand that Home Depot carried, in the professional series, for the cost of our refund. All of this while only charging as close as he could to the original quote. Ridiculous customer service. He shared that he trains plumbers. Rare trifecta. Exemplary service, high expertise, and reasonable pricing. And did I say extremely fast response time. Call this guy!
Eric really impressed me. His knowledge and ability to quickly troubleshoot our issues will make him our go-to plumber for future needs. He not only identified and solved the problems we presented him with, but he offered improvements (that I could do myself or contract with him to complete) that would address other issues that we did not raise to him.
Eric fixed our water pressure issues, replaced water valves for washing machine, identified issues with water heater installation and even pointed out ways to improve our dryer efficiency.

Highly recommended!! Erik is very knowledgable and professional. We were not getting hot water in some of our bathroom sinks. Other's told us it was the pipes. Erik was able to find the problem (not the pipes) and resolve the issue. He also installed a circulation pump and replaced a faucet in the back yard. Her was great at a reasonable price.
Great reviews, just didn't apply to me. Took them 36 hours to call me back and then missed our appt with no call. Finally got a call 2 hours later and was told that he just went to the wrong house, what. Had stated the day before that he would call 30 mins before appt so that would have helped him find the house. Will be calling another plumber.
Fast, super affordable, great for emergency work or planned projects. Erik, the owner, will educate without up selling and takes time to make sure you're taken care of. And, he texts...which is important when you have spotty tmobile service and a screaming toddler.
One thing that stands out for Erik than other companies, is the knowledge. Not only of how things worked/not worked, but also why.

Wow! I am so impressed with CTR. I thought I had a leaky pipe in my kitchen sink and after talking to Erik for a few minutes, he determined it was just my RO filters that needed changing. He could have easily scheduled a time to come out and charge me but instead he walked me through everything and the problem was solved within minutes. I am now a loyal customer. Great plumber! Fair on pricing, no bait & switch here. He replaced my leaking water heater in our newly purchased home and brought the fittings back into code. Connected our HW recirculation line and fixed a broken valve so it works correctly now. He recognized the problems immediately without a lot of teardown time to troubleshoot. He is knowledgeable about plumbing and that saves you money and buys you peace of mind. You won't go wrong. On another visit he repaired my leaking water main and offered to fill in the hole with me off the clock. Great service.
Left Eric a VM in the morning, and he called and came by on the same day which is pretty impressive! Nothing is worst than a plumber that rushes through his job, but Eric was super chill, professional, very knowledgeable and he not only fixed everything well but also took his time to educate us on some points. My husband found Eric online became we were having problems with our water filtration system. He called us on Sunday to set up the appointment and was over first thing Monday morning to fix everything. He was prompt, curtious and above all went above and beyond to explain what he was doing to fix our problem. I highly recommend CTR plumbing.
Great Customer Service!!!CTR plumbing originally came out and fixed a RO system that leaked all over and damaged our island kitchen. After the repairs were completed, Eric installed a new RO system. In the mean time, he pointed out some of the new plumbing out of code completed by the contractors repairing the damaged kitchen. The contractors came about and repaired the problem. Then the RO system leaked again. CTR came out to find out why the RO system leaked again. Come to find out, the contractors did not put the plumbing back together correctly on the RO system. CTR plumbing repaired the problem and did not charge for the visit or repair. He stated that it wasn't my fault so he couldn't see charging me again. It was the contractors fault. Great customer service!!!
Had a little problem installing a new kitchen faucet. Actually a pretty big problem and had to turn off the water to the house. Called at 8:30 in the evening and left a message. Eric called me right back and made an appointment for the morning. Showed up on time and did an amazing job fixing my mistake. Reasonable fee and a great guy. I highly recommend using CTR Plumbing.
I tried installing my own water heater. Yet another reminder that some things are best left to professionals. The last few plumbers I have used were not great. A quick internet search led me to Erik, and he was able to come out and rescue me from my my near disastrous water heater self-install. Extremely knowledgeable, and the price was very fair. He did some work for me years ago when he worked for another company, also with great results. If your looking for a plumber in the East Valley, Erik is your guy.
Eric is an extremely knowledgeable and reliable plumber. We renovate homes and have used CTR for a variety of plumbing repairs and issues. Honest ( a rarity); personable ( a plus); and completely reasonably priced compared to all other plumbing companies in the east valley you will ever find. It's such a rarity to find a reasonably priced plumber that I was in astonishment with the rates that I was quoted initially. Great plumber! We had a leak in our outdoor plumbing and he was very prompt, accommodating, and reasonable. We also had him give advice on other projects going on in our home and he was very knowledgeable! Would highly recommend!
We found Erik on Yelp when our kitchen faucet was leaking. Erik fixed the faucet and then went on to repair 5 bathroom faucets. Within a couple of weeks, we hired Erik to install soft water and reverse osmosis systems. We were very pleased with Erik's expertise and skill, as well as the quality of his work and materials. It is clear Erik loves his job and he went out of his way to make sure we loved his work. We've already recommended Erik to our parents (they were very happy with his work as well!) and next door neighbor. We will never call another plumber again - Erik is our guy! CTR Plumbing has the greatest integrity of any company I have ever dealt with. I had a disposal problem on two different occasions. The first occasion I called CTR and they walked me through how to clear the problem over the phone. They COULD have sent out a plumber and charged me a service charge to come out. Additionally they could have told me the same thing after a service charge and a new disposal, but they didn't. For this reason I made sure to call the same reputable CTR a few months later when my disposal was not working. They sent out a plumber and he cleared the problem with no service charge and I didn't have to buy a new disposal. He gave me tips on how to prolong the life of the disposal I have, which is (6 years old) and even looked at a noisy bathroom toilet. He told me what I would need to replace on the toilet and how to do it myself. Total charge from CTR= $0. Now that's outstanding customer service. By the way, I had never heard of CTR before, I don't know anyone who works there, but I do know that are extremely honest! CTR is the only plumber I will call. We all know that's difficult to say about most companies we deal with now days.
I found CTR Plumbing on yelp as I am selling my home and the new buyers asked for a few things. When speaking with Erik he was nice, respectful and seemed to be able to help me out with what I needed. Erik arrived at the scheduled time he said he would which is a plus. When he walked into my home he took off his shoes to complete the task. I was so shocked. He completed both of the jobs I needed and proceeded to leave. 2 days later I had the same problem in the master bathroom. I called Erik back and he said he would come back and check it out. Erik came to my home on memorial day even though that's a holiday. When looking at the job he realized he replaced the wrong spout in a different bathroom. He promptly corrected the issue owned it and apologized. I am a person who understands mistakes happen. But I respect Erik a lot that he owned it and didn't deflect blame. No charge and everything went well. Erik also recommended an a/c company that was great as well. Well be closing on our new home in a couple of weeks and will be giving CTR Plumbing a call with some plumbing issues.
