I found Wright Electric thru one of the comments on the app Next Door. The owner is easy to talk to and his employees are very efficient. They were so quick to figure out and their prices are very affordable. I tried connecting with other electricians in my area and they weren't as affordable as these guys!

If you need help with electricians, you should give them a call.

In the two years I've lived in Seattle this company that provided electrical service today was by bar the best I've ever seen. The technician was on time and so polite. He worked quickly and made sure all of our questions were answered. My wife and I really appreciate great people and great service. Emmett was our technician today and I'd recommend him and this company to anyone looking for quality work.

I had an electrician for years that I could depend on, but not any longer. When 2-3 smaller projects around our home arose that were outside my scope of skills, I asked for recommendations from friends (including those in constitution). Every other lead struck out until I tried Wright Electric based on their reviews. I explained the timeliness of our projects and our small budget. Dan, the owner was wonderful!! We live near where they were located and he squeezed me in between other jobs to make it happen ASAP. His employee he sent (sorry, I'm drawing a blank on your name!!) was a pleasure to work with. He was so swift at his job, I was able to add two outlet swap outs that I had wanted to do for years, while not breaking the bank. It's a good thing I did, as one of the outlets had burned off all of the protective covering on the wires and had to be replaced due to safety as soon as it was discovered. All-in-all, I have found my new electrician and recommend them highly!

I had them out twice to assist with lights. Nice employees, but left electrical wire for light switch sticking out, which has shocked people. Also scratched a light when they put it up. Requested a bid for a remodel. Owner is difficult to reach, always late, or has to reschedule. Didn't hear back 6 weeks after the walk through for the bid. After several unanswered texts, I called to inquire. Didn't remember the house and said he could put together a bid from the pictures. We set up a phone appt. to review and he never called. I'm disappointed in the customer service and will have to find another company.

Dan and his guys worked with me on a few remodel projects over the years. Good work ethic, reasonable and timely. Though I no longer GC they are at the top of my list for reference requests.

Had a few bids for a big project and they beat the lowest price. They had to re do the whole house. Another company did the kitchen remodel. Only problem was they misplaced an old light fixture but the loss was well worth the savings in the end.

There was an outlet missed behind the bed. They came back a year later and wrapped it up with no issue :-)

I was put in contact with Dan Wright through a realtor I had been working with when buying a home in West Seattle. The realtor recommended Dan and had him come by to give me an idea of what it would cost to have old Knob and Tube wiring updated as well as a few miscellaneous projects throughout the house like adding outlets and grounding a few ungrounded outlets.

Dan seems like a nice guy but was very nonchalant and vague in his assessment of the house as we walked through. He verbally quoted a price for the Knob and Tube work at $1500 and added that the additional work shouldn't cost more than another $500-$600. With this information, and trust in both the realtor and electrician, I purchased the house. When it came time to schedule the work bid by Dan, he was nowhere to be found. While he would answer his phone he was clearly eager to get off the phone telling me that he would 'call me back' which he never did. This happened on three separate occasions. He also promised to provide a written bid but also never provided this. I now know why. I had 3 other bids done by contractors and landed at the middle bid of roughly $5000, the high being $6700.

I get a distinct impression that there is some very unethical behavior going on between the realtor and the electrician. Quote a low ball number to assist the realtor in closing the loan then simply walk away. While this is clearly speculation, I cannot for the life of me understand why an electrician would bid a job so low and/or never return a call for a paying job.

I HIGHLY recommend finding another contractor for your electrical needs.

Dan, the owner, is the best, honest, reliable, and professional electrician.  We are so fortunate to have him come over to assist with our electrical issues that no one or another company would be willing to accommodate or to do so.  He went beyond the norm to get things done for us.  We are so grateful and thankful to him.  We highly recommend him to anyone  who has issues with electrical problems.

I used Wright electric for my condo in Bellevue.  The stove top fan kept sparking and it was scary.  Wright showed up, looked into my electric panel and found that one of the circuit breakers was bad.  They replaced it and the sparking went away.  I was very pleased with the work, and the price.

Not sure about other reviews, but I will use these guys again.

I have used Wright Electric many many times over many years. Dan Wright (owner) is responsive, competitively priced,  highly competent, and an all around good guy to work with.  Excellent work quality and fair and predictable pricing.  Wright Electric will continue to be my 'go to' for my personal and rental property electrical needs.  Can't go wrong with this guy :)

Awesome, Awesome job done by Dan and Paul!  They came in and upgraded our entire electrical panel and some other minor electrical work, and did an incredible job!  Not only were they on time for the job, they were early AND finished everything without a hitch!

Not only professional, but kid-friendly too!  My four year old son LOVED watching and helping Paul throughout the day and Paul was great with my boy as well!

Definitely recommend Wright Electric!

Dan Wright came out on short notice and installed new electric for a new washer/dryer that was just delivered.  His work was excellent, pricing very reasonable, and he was very personable. I highly recommend him. Thanks Dan.

Hi.  My name is Dan Wright.   If you are reading this, I would like to write a comment on the 'one star' rating above from Morgan C.  I went to the property when it was vacant.   Then I met the potential buyer (Morgan) on the property before he purchased the house.  He asked me what it would cost to rewire the home due to knob and tube, and I told him I could give a rough verbal estimate off the hip of about $1500 for the attic alone, where we could access the wiring.  I did not give a price for the whole house written or verbally, as the home was in great condition.   He said that he had the impression of 'unethical behavior' -  I met Morgan and then got wind that he would be gone for 10 days in the near future on a house boat on vacation.    Here is the twist on that.  Morgan and the real estate agent grew up together, and they were having their differences during the sale or potential purchase of the house.  The real estate agent was going on the house boat with him on vacation as well, after I met Morgan. ..and I believe they had a strained relationship due to the timing.   His comment was written after the vacation.   He told me he was going to get a few other bids, and I lost interest due to the fact that I did not want to get in the middle of a conflict.

Please understand that I do care deeply about the people and projects that I work on, and that customer satisfaction is very, very important to me.   Thank you very much for your time.   Dan Wright.   Wright Electric Inc.  206-246-2199

I would NEVER use this company without getting a solid bid.  Time and materials will give license for dragging the job on for days longer than it should.  They also didn't haul away their trash / used material so I was stuck with dump fee.
