Veterans Electric

I needed a breaker replaced for my air conditioner. He came out quickly, replaced the breaker and double checked everything.

Unrealible and overpriced. We hired them twice: the first time to inspect an electrical panel for a humming noise which was downplayed when in fact it was a massive fire hazard due to improper wiring; the second time to install an outlet for a dishwasher which cost hundreds of dollars for a few minutes of basic work. Won't be using them again.

We recently had our electrical panel replaced by Veteran's Electric. They arrived on time and stayed until the project(s) were done. When the work was officially inspected , we were asked who did the job, and the inspector said they did an excellent job. Overall knowledgeable, polite, and kind to our dogs. This is the second time we were satisfied with their expertise.

Not reliable. Seems to be unprepared and easily overwhelmed with his job. I used him twice. The first time I received sassiness and complaining before I did the work. The second time he seemed to not want to do the work and pawned us off to another electrician. Veterans, don't be fooled by the name. This is not a good electrician business in the JBLM area.

These people charged me $237 to go to my house and press a reset button on one of my wall heaters.... That's partially my PM's fault for even accepting that and not contacting me first, but still. Robbery!

The owner was able to help me with a failed electrical socket. I paid for the diagnostic package which I thought was worth it, he took some extra time to walk me through what had happened and most likely reasons why, and how to fix it myself in the future.

Will definitely keep Veterans Electric in mind in the future.

I needed just a new plug and they called to inform me the services few which was over 250$ just to come out to the duplex thsys not to fix it. Hmmm hell no, but I asked well you're in the same duplex next door is having problems with a plug too , yep another 250$ service fee without looking at it. Sir you walk 15 steps next door and you want another service fee .im sorry I wanted to help out veterans but this is robbery.  One star is too much

Poor service, communication, feel ripped off, definitely gender bias (women steer clear). Work outcome, okay. $300/hr.

I highly recommend Veterans Electric LLC.  From my first call to them for electrical work that our General Contractor needed done before he could continue on our repair project, to also having them replace some old outlets, figuring out why our Master Bedroom light fixture was loose, and then installing a new light fixture and outlet up in our attic, Sean and his Apprentice were consumate professionals.  They showed up early, worked well with our General Contractor, wore Covid-19 Pandemic safety masks, they cleaned up after their work, answered all of my questions, provided a quote before the work that I found reasonable, and were a pleasure to work with in our home during a stressful repair project that we have going on.  I also really appreciated Emma's answering all of my scheduling questions over-the-phone before the team arrived, and that the company is Veteran-Owned and supports Veterans, as well as, being a Family-Owned Local Business.  So, I recommend Veterans Electric LLC.

Had an electrical issue with an outlet connection for the garbage disposal in the kitchen.  I called Veterans Electric and Sean came out and located the problem immediately.   He didn't charge me for the visit since it was a simple fix.  Thanks for looking out for a fellow veteran!!  I will be calling on them for future projects we have planned.

I would highly recommend Veterans Electric. I needed a tankless water heater wired and in the process they noticed some major wiring problems. They quickly assessed the issues and determined a course of action that was quick and very affordable. Again I would highly recommend them for any electrical problems.

Absolutely outstanding service. Veteran-owned, highly-skilled, always on time, and do great work. I recommend these guys to do any electrical work you need. I've had them install everything from circuit breakers to GFCI to lights and bathroom vents.

We needed some electrical work in our condo and I liked the idea of hiring a veteran so I went with Veterans Electric. So glad I did! They just finished up and did a great job! The condo is old, in a historic building, with small, awkward spaces to squeeze into, and kind of weird old electrical stuff. Anyway, the electrician had a great solution for us and did the work quickly, carefully and thoughtfully. Good price and very polite too! I also appreciated the communication with the front office. Made an appointment, he was in time, called and checked in first, etc. I am so appreciated the good Covid protocol - masked up, took care of details from a safe distance. I highly recommend Veterans Electric!

My wife send me a message while I am at work that the chest freezer in the garage is not working.  This is no good as we have a whole lamb and a lot of other food in there.  I got home and figured out that the outlets were not working, I used a cord to plug it in to a working outlet, as resetting the breakers did not fix the problem.  Called around and they were the only one to answer.  The lady on the phone (apologies cannot remember name) asked a few more questions and asked if I had reset the rci (i think), I had not seen it so no, but after digging behind ever piece in the garage was able to find the outlet that had it behind a shelving unit the previous owners had put in and was hiding it.  Thanks for not just simply having someone come out but assisting with the trouble shoot.

I needed a NEMA 14-50 power outlet installed to charge my electric vehicle. They did a great job installing it! It works great and is an accessible location in my garage. The electrical inspector wanted them to replace the breaker, and they came back and replaced it at no extra cost! I will definitely call them for future projects

I highly recommend veterans electric. The repairman was able to get to my house 2 days later and make the repair that I needed. He was prompt, professional well dressed , and wearing a mask. I recommend this company.

Installed an attic fan that I supplied. Excellent service. Fair price. Friendly. Prompt, no nonsense work. I will use them again and recommend to others.

As a general contractor for over 20 years I never change to come out to look at a bid this company wanted to charge me 60$ to come look at a job in Rochester... so if you live out this way don't bother calling them unless you want to pay their fees

I called Veterans Electric when my living room power went out. It was a bit confusing on where to even start with the problem but he knew exactly what he was doing. He was in and out with the problem solved in 20 minutes! Along with that he was so friendly and nice, and wore a face mask which I appreciated. He even did some extra stuff I had some questions with that were completely un related to the reason he was coming out! Much appreciated Veterans Electric.

I was very impressed with their efficiency, quality of service and reasonable cost. Did a great job; they were conscientious about the work; and, very respectful! I also like that they call the night before and also within an hour of arrival - making sure the customer is there and ready! And Emma is a joy to talk with! I will absolutely be calling Veterans Electric when I need any electrical work done!

Shawn is knowledgeable, respectful and fair. He came out to switch my old baseboard heaters and thermostats for cadets with new thermostats. He is very particular on how he writes his invoices which makes them thorough and accurate- no surprises. We ended up hitting a small snag with placement but he was able to think outside of the box and find the best solution (not just the easiest). He was on time and came with the needed tools to get the job done. He was friendly towards my toddler son and small dog and even wore protective sleeves over his boots. He asked the right questions and gave appropriate and timely expectations regarding dust, scent when energizing the new units, possibility of smoke detectors going off, etc.

I would absolutely recommend him to anyone searching for a quality electrician and will utilize him again if the need arises.

I called Veterans Electric to get an estimate for the addition of a new outlet in my garage. I was given a tentative estimate over the phone and an appointment was set for the work to be done. Shawn showed up for work as promised, and I appreciated that he wore a mask and gloves for my protection. Shawn arrived in a truck that was fully equipped with materials and equipment so he was ready to work as soon as we agreed on the final estimate. He worked quickly and carefully and took special care to keep the workspace clean. Sean is my go-to guy for my rental properties. He's very thorough, does good, reliable work and stands behind it. No, he doesn't charge at the low end of the scale for electrical work, but he answers the phone, keeps appointments, is easy to work with and does the job right the first time. Given the frustrations I've had with others I've hired, Sean is worth the price.

This is a great company Shawn is the best! He gets the work done in a timely manner has great communication skills. I would defiantly use him again and would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done.

Recently connected generator to our panel with a lockout switch. Great to work with and did a great job. One of few electricians willing to work in Clearwood outside of Yelm.
