I recently had the pleasure of working with Two Brothers Water Heater Repair, and I must say I'm incredibly pleased with their service. The team did a fantastic job, and I couldn't be happier with their service.

Initially, there was a plan to install a tall water heater which was a like for like replacement, but Chris was able to evaluate a better option once he arrived on site. The new option not only reduced the overall footprint but also minimized changes needed to be made. It's great to work with professionals who have the knowledge and expertise to make such suggestions and improve the final outcome, and I felt like they treated my home as their own.

Communication was excellent throughout the project, and the team was easy to work with. They were able to complete the work as agreed and in a timely manner, which was much appreciated. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be hiring this company for any future needs.

Contacted Two Brothers for a quote on replacing our 13 year old water heater, and we got a response immediately. For a very fair price and warranty value on their service, I'd say it's a great overall value. They use quality water heater brands only found in plumbing stores which made me decide to move forward with their bid.

They were able to install our water heater next day, and everything was installed under an hour! I appreciate the follow up phone call as well to make sure everything was running smoothly. Highly recommend hiring Two Brothers if you need a new water heater or repairs done. We couldn't be happier customers.

Tyler and Chris are some of the best professionals I've dealt with in the maintenance industry. My family and I have used them twice now to replace water heaters. One required complicated piping and was quoted by three different companies and Two Brothers came in more than 40% lower than the other two! They are very responsive and were able to install complete the work the day after I requested help. I'm past the point of looking at other places - they are the only contact I need for anything related to hot water replacements/repairs. The world needs more honest and customer-centric family businesses like Two Brothers.

Tyler and his brother Chris are so awesome!!
My water slowly got colder and colder over a span of a week. I had home warranty that I have been paying that I actually could utilize.
Called home warranty and they could not find a vendor. So I messaged bunch of businesses to see if they service/repair radiant water heating.

Tyler worked with me to understand the source of the problem and tried to troubleshoot to see if it was a simple fix. When that did not work, he asked me to send him several pictures to understand what kind of radiant system I had to make sure to prepare.

Next day his brother Chris came with a different brother (didn't catch his name but he was super nice). They came and tried to fix our radiant heating system but I guess our parts were very uncommon. Chris worked his magic and was able to at least get hot water running with a temp fix.

Chris came back in couple days with the ordered part but our radiant heating still was not working correctly. Instead of giving up, Chris took our pipes/hoses apart and rewired them all to fit the common ones to make it work. They were able to perform the maintenance services at the same time.

Two Brothers was very easy and awesome to work with. They don't make you wait weeks in freezing November weather without hot water. They come out right way and get your hot water working!

In addition to being radiant water heating professionals they also service regular water heaters!

I am so impressed how professional, efficient and caring they are to their customers.

I highly recommend Two Brothers and they will always have my business from now on!!

We had a hot water heater malfunction at rental property which is a family of Mom, Dad and 3 small children. We needed a quick response and Two Brothers (Chris) replied within 2 hours of my initial call. They worked with all of our schedules and installed a quality Bradford White HWH promptly and exactly as scheduled. There were a few issues that the Brothers worked through which included a new shut off valve and drip pan (see photo). All the extras were done without additional cost. Two Brothers?? Hell YES!

Within 24 hours of a water leak in garage due to the Thermal Expansion Tank bust, Tyler was able to get it fixed with his tech so efficiently. The Tech was so knowledgeable and willing to explain what exactly the issue was.

My family was going out of town and they fit us into their schedule so we could get hot water before we left the town in peace.

These guys are the real deal.

UPDATE:

Tyler, one of the brothers, in Two Brothers reached out to me, so I am updating my review. He seemed genuinely upset with my review. He told me that Two Brothers is just the marketing name for his brother's company Evergreen Hydronics and Mechanical in Federal Way, which is currently licensed and bonded with Washington State Labor and Industries. I told him that that information needed to be locatable. It should be on his Yelp and Facebook pages and ON THE INVOICE!

Their UBI No. is 604 203 852.

His brother is in fact a licensed plumber. License no. is JOLLEKK954NN

Their Yelp page indicates a Seattle address, but Evergreen Hydronics and Mechanical is in Federal Way. I'm not a tax lawyer so I don't know how all this shakes out. Tyler did say that they, Evergreen Hydronics and Mechanical in Federal Way, do forward the sales tax paid by customers.

Again, I would like to emphasize that Tyler seemed genuinely upset and wanted to make things right. I told him my concerns which are noted below in my original review. I have removed parts that are no longer pertinent.

Some pertinent information that people may want to know:

$2400+ tax to swap out an 18 water heater. Except for the expansion tank, parts and labor are not separated out. Total time for two guys labor was 1hr and 15 minutes.

Install crew showed up in an unmarked panel truck and their appearance was opposite of professional. Didn't exactly give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Their install, however seemed just fine. And they were fast, maybe too fast.

The crew dropped a couple of washers which I found later that were meant for the straps.

They also left the new heater's information packet attached to the heater and in a barely accessible location between the heater and the wall. I retrieved it with some difficulty using a thin bladed kitchen knife. Make sure you get this from them.

They also forgot to glue one of the joints of overflow pvc pipe that leads to the outside (the crew seemed to be in a hurry).

We had an issue with a water hammer which we were told was due to a water logged expansion tank. I was planning to do it myself but Two Brothers Water Heater Repair quoted a very competitive price to replace the water tank. It made it worthwhile to have them do it. They were flexible with scheduling and were on time, professional, effective and got the job done in no more than 10 minutes. They even went above and beyond and upgraded my tank even beyond what we agreed. I would definitely bring them back for any other plumbing work in the future.

I wish all plumbing-related repairs were as easy as it was with Two Brothers. Tyler was extremely communicative and transparent about the exact costs required to replace my water heater and even educated me on the pros and cons of converting to a tankless system so that I could make an informed decision.

In terms of costs, they charged me exactly what they said they would, which was much less than the rest of the quotes I received.

My installation even had a few additional, minor hiccups which most companies would up-charge me on, but Tyler and Chris kept the quote the same. They told me when they'd arrive, then called and texted me the morning of to confirm when they'd be there, and were there on time. And the total install took less than an hour.

I had a lot of questions and Chris walked me through his response to each, including things like water filters, water pressure and even proper usage of hot water (hint: try not to drink hot water from the faucet).

To sum it up: Two Brothers had the lowest price, great communication, and a very quick install. They also installed an American made water heater for that price, which is a huge bonus.

Highly recommend Two Brothers for your water heater needs. They are super responsive to inquiries, knowledgable, and perform quality work. I have a complex setup in which the water heater also powers the heating system for my home. The type of tank I had is no longer being made so when I needed to replace my old tank last year, Two Brothers did a great job replacing the tank and also was able to make a conversion on my system to work with standard tanks. I also needed further work done recently to replace a faulty valve and they were able to perform the service within a day.

I decided to replace my water heater before anything happened to warrant an immediate replacement. I called around to get prices, since it had been 10 years since I had to do this.
Tyler was my first call, and he was very informative, and when he quoted the price, I couldn't believe it! I told him I was going to call around, and then I would decide. I did that, and found out the potties of water heaters had, indeed, doubled! After a few days, I called Tyler back and scheduled the install.
I chose his company because of his knowledge, his commitment, and the small company philosophy.

Within 24 hours of finding my garage flooded due to the old Rheem finally giving out, these guys were done installing a new Bradford.

I loved that I could get an estimate by sending in photos.

Installation cost I believe is fair. Call Freakin' if you want to see what taking advantage of a customer in a dire situation looks like.

And I love supporting local, family businesses. They got the job done as well as I could expect. I thought everyone was cool and I've been happy so far (been over a month).

Two Brothers installed our new electric water tank back in May 2021. Super responsive and clear communication, fast and efficient installation, knowledgable guys, both Chris and Tyler. Pretty much everything that has been mentioned in other reviews.

What I'd like to highlight is the sense of ownership that they have in their service / product, that is hard to come by these days. Recently, there was an electrical smell coming from the utility closet in the house that had the water tank. I was able to identify the smell (and smoke) coming from the water tank, and sent an email with detailed pictures and a video, hoping that Two Brothers might be able to come by sooner than later to take a look and hopefully resolve.

Sent an email at midnight, got a phone call from Chris at 8am that they would be able to come by midday. Came by around 11:15am, and was able to help replace a corroded part in the tank and help fix some of our (old) wiring. On top of this, was not charged for any repair which was a pleasant surprise. Incredibly thankful for the quickness and responsiveness these brothers have.

As of this review, still monitoring to see if the problem comes back during the week as Chris mentioned to me, but I have every confidence that if it does, Two Brothers will be able to quickly help me and advise me on what I should do next!

I asked Tyler to help replacing my thermal expansion tank.

Tyler was very responsive and we discussed everything over the phone and scheduled an appointment.

During the visit, they gave me a call before hand. After they arrived, his people were very friendly and attentive. They explained everything clearly for me before and during the whole appointment. It took them about 30 minutes to replace it.

The only thing I wish they would do is to take off shoes or have a shoe overing for their shoes since I'm Asian and I don't wear shoes in the house.

In short, I'd contact them again for any plumbing problem.

I had a wonderful experience with Two Brothers Water Heater Repair. We had a very old water heater that began leaking water when certain appliances were being used, which got worse rapidly. I reached out to several vendors, and Two Brothers was very fast to respond, were clear in their communication, and offered fair prices. We were able to get on the calendar within a few days. The installation process was a breeze; super smooth and quick. These guys are fantastic and I would highly recommend them.

Strongly recommend you look elsewhere based on our experience.

First, and most ridiculous, this company raised their quoted price by hundreds of dollars, two minutes before arriving to install a water heater. The reason given was literally: Oh, that quote was really only for *last* weekend.

Second, the removal and installation soaked our utility room, to the point that the water traveled up the drywall about six inches. The technician said nothing about a spill, no apology, and we found and had to remedy this on our own.

Third, the water heater literally did not work when the technician left. Told that we should wait an hour for the tank to heat, we called 90 minutes later when the water was still cold. Both the person on the phone and the technician tried to tell us that we were too late to have them come back, and that we would have to wait until the next day with no hot water. The *only* reason there is an additional star on this review is that they eventually did come back the same evening to fix whatever the mistake was.

Final straw. It's 2 years later. We just had a real plumber work on another thing in our home. He looked at the water heater, called out four separate issues on the install that need to be fixed.

One, where the wrong type of fitting was used to attach the in-flowing water, is apparently so bad that it's actively shortening the life of the water heater. The quote to fix what was done wrong here was $500.

I initially reached out to Two Brothers based on the Yelp reviews and I am happy I did.

My Rheem water heater broke after one year, I called the service line as the tank was under warranty, Rheem reached out to the only 2 companies that service the warranty. The 2 companies were booked weeks out and declined the service request leaving me with no hot water for days as this process alone took 72 hours! I was told I needed to contact a local company on my own. So I started doing my research and found Two Brothers on Yelp.

After leaving a voicemail with Two Brothers I received a call back within an hour. The receptionist was so informative and took the time to review my options. As soon as I had time to send photos of my old tank I immediately received a call to schedule a replacement for the next day! The install was on time and went smoothly. I am so happy with the professionalism and quality of service!

My water heater broke over the weekend and with little kid at home I needed a quick replacement. I requested a quote on yelp and within few minutes Tyler called me back to give a quote over phone (This was awesome, because these days most service companies from landscaping to plumbing want to take a week to do onsite consulting just to give you a quote). This company is simply the best. I woke up one morning -- a Saturday, because water heater malfunctions like to be as inconvenient as possible -- and was freaked out to see a small amount of water on my floor near the water heater. I googled water heater repair and immediately called Two Brothers.

They got back to me right away. I spoke with Tyler who asked for photos and expertly guided me through various possible scenarios. We scheduled for them to come out Monday, after Tyler reassured me that it was unlikely to be an emergency repair. And here's the best part -- when they got there, they told me it was likely a failure with the copper line/expansion tank. They switched out the tank and told me to keep an eye on it. The best part? It wasn't the $2K repair I originally thought it would be!!

These guys are super knowledgeable, experienced and just awesome people to work with. HIGHLY recommend. And if this water heater keeps giving me problems, I know exactly who to call. Thanks Two Brothers!!

Couldn't be happier with the service. Needed a new water heater with radiant heat. The first few places I called had very high quotes, which prompted me to do some research to get a better understanding of what type of heater I needed and what they cost. It became obvious the quotes I got earlier tried to upsell us on expensive units we didn't need or just quoted crazy high numbers for a standard replacement. After getting a few more reasonable quotes I ended up going with Two Brothers because 1) They confirmed my findings and clarified which heater I needed to work with radiant heat, 2) they had the best quote for a quality brand name replacement, and 3) They had great reviews and were even recommended by other small business that didn't do radian heat.

I worked with Chris. Super courteous, responsive and helpful. Chris and team came out in a reasonable amount of time, quickly did the work and answered all our questions.

I sent a request on Yelp regarding a leaking water heater and I got a quick response. After e-mailing them some photos of my water heater, they called me within a couple of hours to set up an appointment. Luckily there was an opening and I got a same day appointment. They installed a new water heater, new supply line, new expansion tank, and removed the old water heater. They also replaced a part of the flue that had a crack in it at no charge. The guys were friendly and right on time. I am really happy with their service and with my new water heater. The whole process couldn't have been easier!

Our hot water heater leaked Sunday night. We contacted a few water heater companies including Two Brothers. Two Brothers were one of the more responsive ones, even providing quote promptly via email after we sent a few photos. Tyler called us within a few hours of me reaching out in Yelp and followed up with us the next day. When he found out we still didn't have hot water Monday night and no one has been able to fit us in to replace our water heater he told us that they (Two Brothers WHR) can fit us in Tuesday morning so we could have hot water back (with two kids, one of them an infant) - it was very much appreciated that they were able to squeeze us promptly. My parents' water heater went out on a Friday!! Called a few places with no avail. Found this one on Yelp and I called Renee. She was so helpful even though she said they wouldn't be able to fix/repair the old American Water Heater that we have. After realizing that we need to replace it, I called Renee back (of all places) because she was super helpful during the first call. I was told to take 3 pictures and send to Chris, he responded shortly and we got to talk right away even though it was late on a Friday afternoon. Chris was very helpful in helping me decide on what to replace, and he was able to come on Monday to get it done. I can't recommend this company enough, especially to support a local/small business. I sure will come to them again for any future water heater needs in our other properties.

Needed my water heater replaced and brought up to code to sell my home. They were able to come over the following day. Within an hour I had a new water heater and overflow tank, and they re-did the piping. I had a new overflow tank in my garage that was brand new, but it was the wrong size he swapped me out without a problem which was really nice as I was outside of my return window. I was looking to replace an aging tank water heater with tankless. After talking to a few companies including Two Brothers about changing to tankless, given the location of my water heater and the additional venting required, it didn't make sense financially, so I decided to go ahead and with a new tank water heater. After getting quotes from multiple companies, Two Brothers was the most responsive. I really liked that they were able to give the full estimate without having to come on site and really appreciated Tyler's responsiveness with answering questions via e-mail. Once I decided to go with them, they were able to come out and do the replacement within a couple days. Everything went quickly and smoothly, and I received the extended warranty kit I asked for the next day. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to replace their water heater.

WONDERFUL WATER HEATER EXPERIENCE

Two Brothers is wonderful! My water heater went kaput on Thursday afternoon. The original installer, WA Water Heater couldn't get out before Monday! Fast Water Heater was obnoxious. Found Two Brothers, read the reviews, called, and I am so happy with them!
They are a very experienced, well-oiled team. They get the info they need from pictures of your old tank, and they come out with everything they need to do the job right. The old tank was out, the new tank in with an even better installation than the initial one, and they called to tell me they were EARLY FOR THE APPOINTMENT!!

120+ 5 stars cannot go wrong!

My water heater decided to burst at 8pm. Reached out to a few well-reviewed plumbers on Yelp for quotes, and Tyler was the first to respond (yes, it was after regular work hours). We exchanged emails about the issue and he was able to estimate the job remotely, and accommodate our schedule by fitting in the job the very next day.

Showed up promptly as promised, did a clean job, and new water heater is up and running - all within less than a day of the initial contact via Yelp.

Tyler's quote was competitive, and the job quality was excellent (cleaned up after the work was done, no issues throughout), and communication was clear and prompt.

FYI - I asked about a higher cost option and he actually talked me out of it by sharing his thoughts on the pros and cons.

I highly recommend this super responsive, experienced and cost-conscious team. I called Chris Monday afternoon about our ancient hot water tank and he arrived with his assistant, Tom, and a new tank before lunch the next day. They had it installed in about the length of time it took me to eat a peanut butter sandwich, including making a solid base for it and securing it to the foundation. Our old tank had been balanced on a pile of concrete blocks and scrap of wood.

Chris also saved us money by repairing our main water shut off's handle. Chris told me he had installed 10, 000 hot water tanks and I really feel that we benefited from his experience. I highly recommend this company in Seattle. It is such a relief to find somebody amazing who will actually come right away and help you. And who cares about saving you money.

Our 10-year old 50-gallon gas water heater started leaking on a Friday night, leaving us with no hot water. We started calling plumbing companies that evening, and we found a couple that we're willing to come to our house on Saturday or Sunday, but they wanted to charge us $3,000 or $6,000 to do a simple water heater replacement (ours was easy access in our garage), which we knew was way overpriced. Those 2 companies also refused to provide a quote over the phone or even a range, which made me wary, but with a newborn at home, I felt desperate to get our hot water working asap. After wasting money on dispatch fees of $59 & $79 to obtain the first and second ridiculous quote, I submitted a project request via Yelp & got 2 very reasonable quotes. Two Brothers was able to fit me in first thing Monday morning and hauled away my old water heater and replaced it with a new one (same brand) in under 30 minutes for right around $2k -- a significant savings over the other 24/7 companies and well worth the wait, for prompt, professional work. Thank you, Two Brothers, with 3 kids, we don't have money to throw away, and we really appreciate that you offer a fair price.

Amazing turn around time. I sent a quote request on Yelp at noon, got a reply with requirement to send in photos for a virtual estimation in like 5 minutes. After I sent the photos of current water heater, Chris called to give me a quote in the next 10 minutes.

At 1:30 pm same day Chris and his brother were out the door after replacing my 50 gallon gas water heater!!!!

Super fast, efficient service from a well experienced team of brothers!

Chris even helped by levelling off the steel stand on which the water heater was resting when I requested!

These guys are fantastic not only at being responsive but also on follow up service. I highly recommend them.

Two Bros installed a H2O heater for us in record time. Right after the install, we had a knock that appeared in our system. They came out, did their best to fix the issue but unfortunately, the knock kept happening. They followed up, researched with their supplier and came with another solution.

In the end, the team troubleshot the issue that wasn't part of their work but a check-valve that another plumber missed.

I HIGHLY recommend this team. They are professional, price competitive but most importantly, they go above and beyond to make things right when there is a question. That to me is what is different about a vendor and why I recommend Two Brothers Water Heater Repair.

I had a good experience working with two brothers water heater. Things I liked:

- Fast response
- Requested pictures over email and provided estimate on the phone
- Super fast turn around - heater was installed within 24 hours of our discussion)
- Quick turn around for service - I was not fully happy about a part of the installation. When I brought it up with them, it was resolved to my satisfaction within one hour.

Can't say enough about these guys. One time I was in Arizona and my hot water heater quit working in one of my rentals in Seattle. This was an Airbnb rental so I needed to move quickly to get it fixed and they 100000000% came through in the clutch. Came the same day even and probably did a job they normally would have referred out given their size. Sounds like both these brothers are over 6'5'' and the water heater I needed fixing was in a tight crawl space, but understanding the pickle I was in they took the job and I couldn't be happier. Saved me from getting an awful review from an Airbnb renter that is for sure.

Follow up: 4 months later another house of mine needed a new hot water heater and they were all over it. I shopped it with Gene Johnson and these guys were better priced and given my past experience it was a no brainer.

When I went down into my basement yesterday to do laundry the carpet was wet. First I checked the washing machine hoses for leaks, then tracked the leak to my 20-year-old electric water heater. I went online to get a few quotes from big and small companies with the best Yelp reviews.

Tyler at Two Brothers got back to me first with a $1,500 quote. I didn't know if that was the going price, but Tyler talked me through the up-sell risk with trying to save a couple of dollars by taking the lowest quote. His competence was obvious, including knowing the competition. Instead of waiting to hear back from other companies, I scheduled them for the next day.

His brother Chris and a helper Joe did the job in just under an hour, despite some access challenges with replacing the water hoses. I am very satisfied with their skill, pricing, and speed in replacing my old water heater.

If you need to replace a water heater, I recommend Two Brothers.

Our water heater was 20 years old and we decided to replace it proactively rather than wait for an emergency. They came out to view the work sight and provide a quote. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the various types and brands of water heaters, specifically their pros/cons. That was on a Friday afternoon. By Monday they were installing a new water heater. The price was reasonable and everything is so-far-so good.

Chris and his brother installed a new tank water heater for us, and we had a great experience overall.

He gave us a quote over the phone and was able to fit us in for an appointment in a timely matter. When questions came up, he was very responsive, and in the end, choosing Two Brothers was an easy choice; they offered by far the best price, and I felt that Chris was trustworthy.

He was communicative leading up to the appointment time as well, and during the installation, he let us know whenever he ran into unexpected issues (versus being surprised when it came time to pay). At the end of our appointment, even though he was running a bit late, he also walked us through annual maintenance to keep our new heater running smoothly.

He and his brother were very efficient, and we'd recommend this company to our friends and family.

Two Brothers recently installed my new hot water heater and it was a great experience. I messaged them at about 9 pm on a Thursday, after my old heater started leaking. Tyler responded within 15 minutes and I was able to book an appointment for the next day. Chris and Tom showed up as promised, on time, and did the work quickly, efficiently, and cleanly and were also super friendly. And the best part? The cost ended up being less than quoted - how often does that happen?! Highly recommended, good people doing good work.

Started with great customer service, answered my call, tech called me back right away - and got me an estimate immediately. An estimate I might add that was 50% lower than my other quote, and only took a tenth of the time the other guy estimated!!

They stayed in touch as to scheduling, and updated me continuously, to include rescheduling a day earlier than we originally set up!

They arrived with masks, came in, got the job done (very quickly), cleaned up, turned my water back on, and boom they were gone!

TL/DR: Affordable. Trustworthy. Efficient.

Replacing an existing (working) water heater is not a glorious task. There is no pretty appliance you get to play with or show off...well you could but who is interested in looking at a water heater? You don't really get much out of it other than the peace of mind knowing that it's done before it fails. So this task was one that just needed to be done and as painless as possible.

I reached out to a few companies here on Yelp requesting quotes - my initial request was for a tankless electric water heater. I figured if I'm doing it let's just be energy efficient and get more hot water out of it too. Tyler with Two Brothers quickly educated me to the fact that not only is an electric tankless not cost efficient due to necessary electrical panel upgrades, but that it's the opposite of energy efficient as it requires MORE electricity to heat the water. Mind blown. I asked him to quote me for a new tank to replace my existing and then fact checked him, because that's the kind of person I am, and he's right. Washington Energy Services actually requests people DO NOT buy tankless electric heaters. Good to know.

Moving on...

I got the quote via a call and the subsequent email. All my communications through Tyler were super quick and efficient. I am a busy person and I loved how this continued to flow and there was no time where I was wondering when I was going to hear back. I had no qualms with the quote and so I indicated I'd like to schedule. Lucky for me there was an opening that Sunday. Tyler gave me a two hour window and let me know he would give me a 30 minute heads-up call before showing up - which is immensely better than Comcast, painters, or bed deliveries.

Sunday came, I cleared the path to the location, got the 30 minute head-up and Chris showed up with my new equipment. He needed only to be pointed in the direction of the tank and panel and then shown where the restroom was. After that I was happily working on my laptop and my family going about their business completely undisturbed until it was done a short time later. A quick run of the water to get the air out of the lines and an hour to let the water get hot before using it and we were all set. And just as Tyler said, we noticed that there is more hot water readily available to use than we had with the old unit - which likely had sediment built up at the bottom. (Tyler did indicate if I found this not to be enough I could have them back out to turn up the heat and install a mixing valve...so far no need for that yet.)

Honestly I don't know how it could have been better. Both Chris and Tyler were super professional and helpful, HONEST and overall just great to work with. I wish they did more than water heaters...but I guess you can't win them all.

We had a leaking tank water heater (direct vent natural gas) that was about 20 years old, and after calling this company, I immediately received instructions over the phone on how to get an estimate. In less than an hour, I received a call from the installer, who provided an estimate and said that he could replace our water heater the same day! He and his crew came to the house, and they were extremely efficient and expert in the installation. Their price was very competitive and the quality of work was excellent.

Leaking water heater lead us to search. Found Two Brothers with grt reviews and just at the Univ District area. The first one I contacted (those who installed our unit yrs ago) took a while to respond with a huge difference in quotes! Was tempted to get another for comparison but these guys were not pushy, quick to respond, and reasonable so went with them and hoped for the best. Came bright and early the next day, got job done, questions answered knowledgeably, cleaned up well. So far, so good. ALL OTHER REVIEWS WERE PROVEN ACCURATE . Hoping for another 20++ yrs no hassle!

We got home from vacation to find our hot water heater had gone out and leaked everywhere. I called several companies and they all said it would be 2-3 days. I found Two Brothers on Google and called them. They were very responsive and friendly and said they would make every effort to get out that afternoon or in the morning. They went the extra mile and found the unique water heater I needed and replaced it the same day! I have two small children and they saved our day. I highly recommend Two Brothers!

Came back from a weekend trip to no hot water and was understandably very upset at the idea of having to go through the hassle of replacing it. Submitted a request to Yelp for quotes and heard back from Tyler within an hour with a clear, concise request of what he'd need me to provide for a quote. Quote came in a little higher than some of the others that I received (~$50-100) but Tyler was clear and patient with me as he went over the estimate and I was being wishy-washy making up my mind on which provider to go with. After seeing the overwhelming number of positive reviews, I decided to pay that little extra for the great service and was not disappointed. Tyler initially offered to be there within an hour because they were close by but my indecision caused some delay and he was very communicative around when I could expect them the next day and they arrived pretty much on time.

Swapped in the new water heater in like 30 minutes and I'm already so thankful to have hot water again. Ended up being super easy for something I was extremely worried about at first. Definitely recommend!

Water heater needed replacing; called early pm for a quote on Super Bowl Sunday & sent 3 pics of existing tank as requested. One of the brothers called me back later that afternoon(!), went over the options & provided me with a competitive quote. The other brother came out the following day as arranged & installed the new tank within a couple of hours. No fuss, no mess, no unexpected charges. Exactly what you want from a contractor! At least 1 other company I called wanted $50 just to come out & give me a quote - why do we as consumers allow this practice to continue, especially when it's so easy these days to forward pics for a quote? Come on folks, vote with your wallets - STOP supporting businesses that charge for a quote!

Our water heater started to leak and we needed a replacement. We got a few estimates, but decided to go with Two Brothers because of their quick reply, easy scheduling, and competitive price. I contacted them for a quote early in the day and the water heater was replaced by the afternoon! It took them about 20-30 minutes once they arrived. They also gave us an estimate via phone (after sending some photos of the water heater) and did not add any extra charges once on site. I really appreciated their transparency! Wow! I can't say enough good things about these guys! We had read all the great reviews about this business. We called and spoke to someone in the office. They instructed us to take photos and who we should send them to. We did not get a response. I called back to the office and we eventually heard back from the technician. He gave us a quote and told us he would call back that evening when he got the information about the availability of a heater. He also said that the office would call the next day to let us know when they could complete the job. We never heard back from the technician not the office. Very disappointing

We had our water tank go out on Sunday. Ugh.
Two Brothers responded to our message within an hour, and made arrangements to come out the next morning!!
They discovered a problem with tank size, and communicated frequently and effectively to be able to grab a different tank for us and come back later in the day with the new tank, at the same quoted price.
They went the extra mile to ensure that we had hot water during a busy time - the Monday before Thanksgiving - we had our hot water up and running within 24 hours.

Chris is hands down the best and easiest to work with! Our hot water heater broke Saturday morning and we had it fixed by Monday. My 20 years old water heater gave out and developed a leak. I got a few quotes through yelp and went with Two Brothers based on their 5 stars reviews and a fair quote. I got a next day appointment from Tyler and his brother Chris showed up promptly and installed the new tank. They kept me updated throughout the process since I wasn't able to be home during installation. They did great work and left the area clean.
Later on when I noticed the recirculation pump malfunctioning due to a broken valve that happened during installation, Chris dropped by the next day and replaced it for a fair price.

HOLY SERVICE!! I can't even say enough about this team but I'm gonna try!! I couldn't believe the fast service! It was awesome! They were in and out of there in no time! I am so pleased with this company! I mean heck, even after I made payment over the phone they called me to thank me for giving them the opportunity to be my tech! EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE!! God forbid I have more issues with plumbing or what not but they will be my go to business from here on out!!

So came home to find my gas water heater leaking UG We knew it was getting close to kickin the bucket but wasn't expecting a water fountain. I reached out to a couple companies for quotes and per the yelp questions they were given a basic rundown of the issue. I get a very nice response back from Two Brothers and was asked to provide photos of the unit. They told me what to include in the photos and where I would find things they needed such as the data sticker. Also I am very hard of hearing so when I asked if we could write instead of calling they worked with me on that as well which was SOOOO nice. So many companies I've worked with previously got really annoyed by this type of request but the technicians actually said it was no problem at all and continued to correspond via messages. I can't tell you how AWESOME this was for me! Such an appreciated and welcomed change!

Fast forward to the next morning, I did speak with the techs via phone to see if the opening that they mentioned the previous night was still available. It was, THANK GOODNESS! I was told a time of 1000 to 1200. They assured me they would keep me updated on times and what not and THEY DID! I got a call saying they had just picked up my new tank and they would be at my house in around 15 minutes and they were! Haha. Let's face it, we've all had to wait for the time frame to come and then a lot of the time they just arrive when they arrive, so I can't express enough how nice it was to be kept so in the loop about timing! I had let the techs know that my mother is a cancer patient so she probably wouldn't have a lot of contact with them and to please not be offended. They reassured me that was not a problem and with the virus going around they were taking safety precautions very seriously. Nice and reassuring to know. They asked me to just have her leave the garage door open and they would head in and get to work :) When my mom did come out to say hello they were SOOO sweet to her! Assured her it wouldn't take too long and even told my mom to stay safe when they left. Aww! My mom said they were both super polite and worked so well together! I couldn't believe the fast service! It was awesome! They were in and out of there in no time! I am so pleased with this company.

My unit looks WONDERFUL and holy cow does it work! I didn't know water was supposed to heat up that fast! Yes, I know that's sad but now you know how badly I needed this water heater! Haha I'm still in disbelief with how this all went! Fast and informed replies prior to them even being hired, consideration of the well being of my mom, everything was wonderful!!

My heroes. I called Tyler at 4pm on a Friday to replace and old water heater that gave up the ghost. I had already called 4 different repairmen, none of which could make it out on short notice- one of which didn't do stairs.

Tyler came in clutch finding our specially vented model and replacing the unit by 6pm- before our Airbnb guests returned from dinner.

These folks are on point. I texted Chris pictures of my failed water heater. He got back within a few minutes with a couple questions and then had a quote for me.

Chris offered to do the install same day but I waited to get another quote. Two Brothers had the best bid so I went with them.

We were going on a few days with no hot water and after having trouble booking someone over the weekend, I came to trusty Yelp and reached out to a few businesses. Chris and Tyler were quick to respond to my Yelp query and immediately asked for photos, which I emailed over. They were able to stop by the next day and found that it actually wasn't an issue with our water heater but that a fuse had blown. They did some magic finagling in the fuse box and voila! On a Sunday afternoon, our old hot water tank decided to call it quits. I went to Yelp and used their tool to contact a couple hot water heater repair companies for quotes. All I can say is WOW! GO WITH THESE PEOPLE!
Our water heater went out and after spending a whole morning watching YouTube's and trying to fix the thing (to no avail), then the afternoon with salespeople from a bunch of Seattle companies who convinced me that the unit not only needed to be repaired, but replaced - I was JUST about to spend $1800 on a new one when Chris called me at the end of the day. He stayed with me on the phone for almost 20 minutes and walked me through how to fix it and patiently had me keep trying until things came back online. The fix he had me do, I didn't find ANYWHERE online and it totally worked! Not only that, but it's been working great ever since and he confirmed that my unit was several years newer than all the other salesmen had told me - and doesn't need to be replaced. At the end, he didn't even ask for payment. I'm seriously a customer for life. Chris is the best.

I live in a matchbox studio condo on Capitol Hill where my malfunctioning, 13 year-old water heater is tucked behind my stackable clothes washer/dryer combo located in a tight, closet/nook. Chris, of Two Brothers Water Heater Repair arrived within an hour, disconnected all related connections to the laundry units (picked up the dryer like it was a christmas present) and set both washer and dryer aside so that he could do his work (where draining the former unit, removing the old unit, retrieving and installing the new unit, replacing, reconnecting and putting the washer/dryer back in its place) took less than an hour.

I've had two plumbing jobs while living here, the first with B**con Plumbing and the 2nd with Two Brothers. Of the two companies, I strongly recommend Two Brothers to serve your plumbing needs.

I found Chris' professionalism peerless in not only going the extra mile, but also faith-restoring of the service industry - where during these modern times this genuine type of service is not always evident.
Kudos also to Two Brothers' receptionist, Renee, for her phone customer services as well.

I feel I need to send Two Brothers a 'Thank You' card - and I NEVER do this.

I used yelp and got estimates from several plumbers.. Tyler was very prompt in replying and ask a lot of questions.. that was my first clue that he knew what he was doing. The quote was good, the scheduling was very convenient and the guys where very professional. These guys know what there doing when it comes to replacing a water heater... in and out in probably an hour and a half.

Came home from work to find our 11+ year old water heater leaking from the top. A few phone calls later and no plumber could come for at least 48 hours. I called because I thought my water heater was out and had read so many great reviews here. Renee was very helpful and got me in touch with Chris. After seeing some of my photos he reasoned that my water heater likely wasn't out yet and helped me with a quick fix over the phone. I never write reviews and felt so strongly about Chris and this business that I had to take the time to acknowledge him. I called Chris in a total panic as my hot water heater was leaking, pouring steam and I was smelling gas with two small children alone in the house. He immediately answered his phone, had me text him a picture of the heater and showed me how to turn off the gas. He calmed me down and explained what was happening without ever demeaning me or making me feel less intelligent even though I really had no idea what was going on. Our water heater happened to be a very expensive model and we ended up calling around for other estimates but Chris still came in at a very fair price. He was there the next morning after texting to say when he would come and had a new water heater installed in less than an hour.

Chris was professional and friendly and came through on all his promises. This so rarely happens in the service industry and I was so relieved to deal with someone like him, especially in a very stressful situation. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Hands down, the best of experience I've had with any service in my house let alone plumbing. I can't recommend these guys enough!

I first contacted another company which came on site to give me a quote but gave little to no information to questions I was asking and it felt like they were trying to upsell and hard selling me. I passed on hiring them.

I then sent an email to Two Brothers Saturday night at 10pm to ask about a hot water heater replacement. It was a non-emergency which I made clear in my email.

I got a response within 35 mins saying they were open to talking right away which was convenient for me. So here I was at 10:35pm on Saturday talking about hot water heater replacements.

Chris was super friendly and very helpful in answering all my questions. He gave great advice and walked me through everything I wanted to know in a 30 min call.

Even better is he told me he could do the replacement the next day on a Sunday first thing in the morning by juggling their schedules around.

Sunday morning rolls around and he shows up on time after sending me multiple text messages giving me his ETA. He arrived and was super professional and did the tank replacement over the course of about an hour including hauling my old tank away. He kept the job site clean and even did an extra repair for free when he noticed the draft duct wasn't as secure into the chimney as it should have been so risked problems down the road.

If you need a hot water heater/tank replacement, don't hesitate to go with Two Brothers!

Woke up one morning, noticed my water wasn't getting hot like it usually does. Like anyone else wanting an easy fix, I convinced myself it was due to the colder weather. After a couple days of suffering, I tried to google the problem and went down a rabbit hole of endless causes, concluded it was the water heater and then gave up on the DIY route. Finally, I decided to suck it up and start looking for outside help with a solution.

I came across Two Brothers Water Heater Repair and gave them a call. I spoke to Chris, who was super helpful and gave me a couple potential causes and a range of best and worst case scenario price estimates. He said the best way to find out the problem will require him to come and actually take a look at it. They were really accommodating with my busy schedule and we worked out a time for them to come out.

Chris came out to my house and checked out my water heater. He was very kind and did not rush through the appointment. Unfortunately, it was not an easy fix and the entire water heater needed to be replaced. We went through the costs and repairs and I told him I would have to think about it. I did my own research and called around, and decided Two Brothers was the most cost effective solution, so I called them back and scheduled the replacement. The repair was seamless and I got my hot water back! I wish I would have called these guys in the first place instead of gritting my teeth through cold water, but glad I eventually made the move and don't regret a thing!

Below is my story. TL;DR - There were some churns but overall I'm very happy with how things turned out.

I had a water heater leak and decided to replace it. Reached out to the front desk which got one of their technicians, Chris to connect with me. Chris has been very responsive in terms of texting back for questions even over the weekends.

On the day of installation Chris and his coworker came in and performed the replacement within an hour. They had a busy day so I let them head to the next customer while I waited for the heater to warm up which took about an hour or so.

After an hour I was still not getting hot water in kitchen. Texted Chris and he responded quickly suggesting replace the mixing valve. He quoted another $500 for the job.

I was not very happy with this estimate as I believed this should have been part of the labor during installation (besides the parts for valve which I'm happy to pay for) since after the replacement I still wasn't getting hot water as promised.

So I called front desk and asked for the owner. The owner Tyler returned the call within 30 minutes and offered a discount for the valve replacement. He also agreed to send over a receipt which was not provided onsite. I agreed.

Chris came back within two hours and performed the work. This time it worked well. To my surprise he offered his labor for free and also the parts. He did not complain and performed his work carefully.

An easy 5 STARS, no question!!! Chris (Kris?) was SUPER responsive, a great communicator and gave us a quote that was literally HALF of what the big name company said it would cost (you know the company I'm talking about and likely know their slogan). We emailed Two Brothers on Sunday afternoon, and had a new water heater installed by early Tuesday morning (it wasn't an emergency, otherwise I'm sure this would've been done on Monday). Absolutely incredible experience. I have no complaints. I messaged a bunch of companies for water heater replacement quotes. Tyler replied the quickest and with a quote right in line with the others but a little lower. Some of the others seemed shady or uninterested in their responses. He doesn't BS you. He will give you an all inclusive quote and do it fast! He scheduled me for the following day between 9-10 am. My husband was to be home so I gave them his number. They said they'd call when they were in route and they called at 8:56. They were here by 9:15 and left before 9:45. Super fast. Absolutely friendly. Held conversations with my husband while they worked. Thanked him numerous times for choosing them. Answered any questions I had. We would recommend them to anyone needing a water heater.

Two Brothers did a great job on our water heater install, they arrived right on time and had the whole job finished in about a half hour--including hauling the heaters up and down 2 flights of stairs and removing our washing machine to access our cramped unit. It was a HOT day as well, still didnt slow them down!

My only comment is that they didnt wear protective covers on their shoes when moving through the carpeting in our condo, so some dirt and grime was tracked in, but it was easily cleaned and didnt detract from their service--just remember to ask them to cover/remove their shoes if you've got a carpeted space! Otherwise, 5-star experience.

I do not write reviews. After my experience with Two Brothers Water Heater Repair, I'm writing this one! I cannot speak highly enough about Tyler, Chris and their business. Yes they are brothers. Two weeks ago we had a hot water tank fail (it had a good long life). I called Two Brothers based on their reviews. I also got some others bids. Two Brothers were the only ones to answer the phone that would be doing the actual work. Customer Service +1 right there! I decided to go with Tyler and Chris because
1. Their bid over the phone was very thorough
2. They didn't try and sell me what I didn't need
3. They showed up when they said they would with the right equipment (prepared!)
4. They were very clean and brought drop cloths to protect the carpet and work area
5. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, at a competitive price.
If you are ever in need of a hot water tank replacement or maintenance, I highly recommend this company. They have integrity. Great people, great service. No BS.

I had a horrible experience (leaking hot water heater) turn into a great one. I found the leak on a Sunday and had a new hot water heater installed and working by Tuesday morning. I loved how I was able to text my pictures and get a quote back right away which cut down on this normally painful process by at least a day. I was't able to be there for the install (my tenant was there) but he was super communicative about his ETA and sent me pictures of the install afterwards.

This crew goes above and beyond. I sent an email last Tuesday night about a failing water heater. They emailed me back within 15 minutes (this was at 11pm), and followed up with a call the next morning. I had a new water heater installed the following day. And here's where it gets interesting ... I discovered on Thursday morning that the water heater was not working. I called and they had someone at my house within two hours to test the unit and re-do all of the connections. That did not do the trick (it was a faulty unit), so they were back in a few hours with a new unit. They apologized for the inconvenience (both verbally and through a partial refund), and called that evening and the next morning to ensure that all was well. A great local business with a real commitment to service.

We originally called Home Depot and got a time slot two days from the call (called Thursday and had a Saturday appointment). On Saturday at noon they cancelled on us, attempting to reschedule to Monday! My wife and I had to go to work and have a six month old, and no hot water for four days wasn't going to cut it. Yesterday we had a major plumbing back up. My husband tried his best to repair the issue. The blockage was out of the reach of our snake. Soooooo as many people may know, i have NO idea how to handle repairs, home improvement, yada yada yada around my home. i have been a god damn homeowner for over 2 years now and i still cannot figure this shit out. youtube just doesn't cut it. THEN one of my worst nightmares happened. hot water started to run out faster in the shower (GASP). i started to settle for warm showers and my water just didn't get as hot as it used to. and honey, i do NOT settle for warm water showers. i need that shit to be hot. (i sound sooo high maintenance right now, don't i? lolololol).

i finally got myself to yelp water heater repair places and found that Two Brothers had a response time of about 2 hours which is super important to me because i think places who respond quickly to inquiries show that they are interested in my business. and yes, they did respond within 2 hours! i explained the issue via Yelp and even though i explained it like it can be found in home repairs for Dummies, whoever responded to me totally got it. I ended up getting help from Tyler and he was extremely nice! he asked me plenty of questions about my water heater and even though i responded with a lot of umm...i don't know...., he was very patient with me. i appreciated that a lot. sometimes the last thing you need is for someone to be condescending and to make you feel stupid and bad about yourself. Tyler definitely did not do that. After some back and forth, i asked if he could just come and take a look to troubleshoot and he gladly agreed and we set up an appointment. Also, with the appointment, i was very picky because i told him it has to be after 5 on weekdays as i work and weekends are usually packed for me. he totally worked around my schedule!

Tyler showed about 10 mins before our appointment as scheduled and inspected the water heater, and found out that cold water wasn't feeding to the bottom of the tank (????). i don't know, i just listened and nodded my head. I went ahead and purchased a more efficient water heater since mine was old and out of warranty. even though Tyler did not push me to do this, it was just the right time. He came back that weekend to replace the old with the new, and taught me how to maintain it so it lasts longer and saves me money on my bills. Again-i just listened and nodded. lol. he was so patient with me with all of my annoying questions. and he told me i could call him if i ever have any questions. i am confident that he meant it!

my new water heater has been completely up to par and my hot water showers are back!!! hooray!! but what stood out about Two Brothers is their friendliness and service. for such an annoying person like me who asks tons and tons of questions, someone who is not only helpful but super patient is one of the most important things when i search for business.

Reliable, thoughtful and complete, reasonable price. And really nice. Highly recommend. I needed to replace a 20 year old hot water heater in a rental condo in Kirkland -- I live in San Francisco. The water heater did not have a pan, and was installed many years prior. I reached out to 5 providers. Tyler responded quickly (along with 3 others). Because he couldn't do a site visit to assess, as I do not live at the property, he asked very thoughtful questions, including measurements, as the heater was in a tight, unusual place. Others did not ask these questions -- which was a huge indication that if I went with them, they likely would have show up with a pan and heater that didn't fit. The communication with Tyler (brother) was very responsive. I flew from SF to Seattle and Curt (brother) showed up right on at promised time! He explained everything and in a little over an hour he was done.

Noticed the water heater was leaking water and because it was 18 years old I figured it was going out. I looked up water heater installers on Yelp and saw Two Brothers Water Heater Repair had 5 Star ratings. I read the reviews and all were positive. I called Tuesday around 9:00am and by 2:00pm that afternoon, I had a new water heater installed! After calling their office and talking to Mom, she got in touch with Son Chris who asked for a couple of pictures of the old heater/set-up and gave me a bid. I accepted his bid and he said he could get me in THIS AFTERNOON! This is really a Family business. These guys are very professional and through. Every now and again you run into someone who does business the right way. When our water heater went out, I called several people. While someone else was able to make it out a bit sooner, Chris still provided me fantastic advice and instruction via text after he looked at pictures I sent to him. Honestly I was so impressed.

I can't say enough GREAT things about these guys!
Our water heater started leaking and before I knew it my husband and I were desperately trying to keep the rushing water from completely destroying our carpet. We managed to get the water turned off and as we were assessing the carpet the reality set in that we no longer had hot water and needed to get a new water heater ASAP. We have two teenage daughters, need I say more.
I looked into going with a commercial plumber, literally they have commercials on tv but their reviews weren't great and I didn't want to deal with being over charged or sold something I didn't need. That is when I found Two Brothers and a Water Heater.
Tyler and Kris were so very helpful from the first phone call and they were out to our house the very next morning with a new water heater! There was an issue with our ventilation system and they had to work around/through that but again they were so helpful and committed to making sure we had everything we needed. These guys deserve five stars even though they never made it out to my house to fix my water heater. How does such a thing happen, you ask? Glad you asked--by being honest and knowledgable!! Here's the full story:

Our water heater had been giving us an error sign for a couple weeks, but if we restarted it, it worked just fine. So, we could always get hot water--we just needed to wait about half an hour once we restarted it (annoying, but we could deal with it, so no rush). I did some research on plumbing/heating companies and decided to go with a company that several people in my neighborhood recommended. The guy came out and couldn't engage in any problem-solving with me. I was equipped with my error code and my owner's manual (that provided some indication of what needed service/replacing for that specific error code) yet the repair man was not able to explain to me what he thought was wrong. He adjusted some of the venting pvc pipe (there was a leak), but I was not confident that the problem was fully solved after he left and charged me $100. Sure enough, in a couple days, the same error code showed up again. I looked for a different company to call for help and that is when I found Two Brothers Water Heater Repair. I gave them a call and the man on the phone was quite efficient and knowledgable. He asked for my water heater brand and model number. He also asked how old it was and who installed it. Then he said, unfortunately, we can't work on your water heater because our insurance only covers us when we work on heaters we installed. Bummer. However, the story doesn't end there! Since he was not going to get any money from me, he could have just hung up the phone and moved on, but he talked with me for a few minutes about what my error code might mean and told me what he thought the problem was. He nailed it!! I did a bit of research on the part he mentioned and embarked on the process of trying to repair it myself. I removed the blower and found exactly what he told me I might find. I was able to fix it myself, and thirty minutes and not a penny later, we had a working water heater!

Highly recommend these guys--if they were able to help me out in a four-minute conversation with just a little bit of information, I am extremely confident in their water heater repair knowledge.

We were only getting cold water. Pilot light would not light. I called and made an appointment for 9-11 a.m the next morning. Tyler explained company's procedure. Everything was very clear.

Julian arrived a little after 10 a.m. He confirmed with us that the water heater was not leaking as he did not see water.

We told him the pilot would not light and that the heater was 11 years old; so, it was probably time to install a new water heater. He checked the heater out, determined that the heat sensor was bad. Asked us if we wanted to replace it as he felt the heater was still good. Of course, we said replace the sensor.

After the sensor was replaced, Julian lit the pilot, turned the heater on, and now we're back in business.

If we need any more plumbing repair work done, I know who to call.

Water heater broke called several places but 2 Brothers were quick to respond able to quote without a house visit knowledgeable and were able to squeeze us in same day. We had some concerns about the brand which they answered all questions made us feel comfortable and extended our install warranty by 5yrs. Aside fr the manufacture warranty if something happens which they feel comfortable won't since they've worked with the brand for years. Julian came out Friday afternoon after I made a call earlier in the day that our water heater was not working. After looking it over he gave us a full explanation of what had happened and due to the damage said it would need to be replaced. We had the option to get a second opinion or have another plumbing company do the install but decided to go with him since we appreciated his honesty. A few hours later, we had hot water again.

Julian was timely, honest, easily accessible by cell phone and not pushy at all. He let us decide what to do and then went with that. Overall, he did an excellent job and we would recommend them to others.

Our basement gas powered hot water heater failed in epic fashion one evening around midnight. We caught it immediately and we were able to turn off the water supply before it majorly flooded the basement. Two Brothers sent a plumber out the next day to replace it. We replaced our failed 40 gallon water heater with a 50 gallon Bradford White model.

Tyler took care of everything himself, including lugging the new hot water heater down into our basement and removing and disposing of our old hot water heater. He was punctual and professional, and did a good job installing the new hot water heater.

Couldn't have been a better experience! Of course our 15 year-old water heater gave out and flooded our basement on a Friday just as we were going to leave town the next week. We saw Two Brothers' great reviews, called and texted with photos in the evening, got a quote from them and quotes from a couple others the next morning. Two Brothers was able to get us a better water heater for the same or lower price than lesser water heaters from others. And they stayed in touch over the weekend and had it installed and working Monday morning. Nice guys, great service, highly recommended!

I wanted to take the time to give true props to a company that exceeded my expectations and came to my rescue when I was in a time of need.

I was being Mr. Fix-It the day before Easter and had shut off the water valves to fix some leaky pipes in the kitchen before family was due the next day. When I turned them back on, the pressure valve on our gas hot water heater blew and would not re-set. Out of my league, I called Two Brothers on the advice of my neighbor who recently had his water heater replaced and within an hour I had Tyler of Two Brothers at my door. Tyler was extremely knowledgeable, but what really impressed me was how he took the time to ease my wife's anxiety by explaining what he was doing and why. All around a great experience that saved the day in time for the holiday.

These guys were totally awesome. Super fast and efficient, steered us towards a less expensive water heater that still completely meets our needs. These guys are awesome: super responsive, fast and honest. These are the guys you want to fix your water heater. The first thing they did was have me text them a photo of the heater, which had multiple leaks. Chris ID'd it from the photos and texted me an estimate immediately. I was shocked at the price, so he called to discuss. He even suggested some other places to see if I could get a better price. Since I already had another plumber coming in the morning, I decided to go with them. Chris said to give him a call if I changed my mind. The other dude came by and his estimate was quite a bit higher. I called Chris and he was there in 30 minutes. The job was done in an hour and everything works great! Thanks guys - highly recommend.

Wow, Chris was super quick to respond and follow up. I contacted them on Saturday via yelp, and they got back literally within a minute or two. Chris was able to accommodate us on the following day. Got a new heater with an expansion tank done (after waiting for a month from the First American Home Warranty company to do their crappy job, and after ended up asking me to pay for $1500 out of pocket expenses) Chris got the job done under 1 hour for less than that.

My water heater pilot light would not stay on, tried fixing it myself but it's an old water heater and the thermocouple was probably bad. Decided to call Two Brothers because it was late in the night and they were open and had good reviews. They told me I'd get a call for a guy to come out between 2pm - 4pm. By the way, the guy I talked to (can't remember his name) was polite, down to earth, and competent.

The plumbing technician called earlier than scheduled, said he was in the area and could get it done earlier if we wanted. That worked well for us. He showed up and started working right away. Job is clean and professional looking. I used to do kitchen and bath remodels, so I have a decent eye for it, the job was well done. Hauled away the old water heater and cleaned up well.

The plumbers name was Julian. He was solid, efficient, and an overall nice guy, easy to work with. He didn't mind taking a few minutes to talk me through some things about the water heater and the plumbing. He also was nice with my kids and even the dog.

I'd highly recommend them, the whole process was painless.

In and out. Straight forward, uncomplicated, QUICK, and reasonably priced. My husband and I had gotten a quote for $2,000 and that was dependent on if we had overhead pipes or something that would complicate the process, which would be susceptible to a fee, but were so glad we shopped around. Chris just did the job and was out in no time and asked for about $500 less than the other company. We appreciate how quickly he got the job done and according to my husband, he couldn't be any nicer.

I called this company after walking into my basement and seeing water pouring from the bottom of my rusted water heater. Even though it was after hours they answered the phone. I explained the situation and made an appointment for a plumber to come out the next morning.

They were right on time, brought everything they needed with them, removed the old and installed a brand new water heater in less than 2 hours, and it looks and runs fantastic. When I called I felt like they were genuinely interested in my problem. They rearranged their schedule to come to my home to replace a leaking water heater the next morning. They gave me a price over the phone and they billed exactly for what they estimated the job to cost - no hidden fees.

The plumbers arrived almost to the minute that they said they would. In two hours they had the old water heater out and the new water heater installed and ready to use. At no charge, they also checked water pressure and inspected all faucets, fixtures and toilets for leaks and provided an estimate for repairing items found. Very professional and responsive. Had all necessary parts and supplies to complete the job quickly. Left no mess.

Price seemed high to replace a water heater, but a power vent water heater is more expensive than a regular hot water heater. I will definitely call them back for future plumbing work.

Amazing service! When our 13 year old, 50 gallon water heater bit the bullet, I called Two Brothers at 8 am, and the water heater was removed and replaced by 12 noon the same day. The new unit is Energy Star certified, has intuitive controls, and works great! We had to replace an old water heater on short notice, and Tyler responded within 10 minutes of me sending him a quote request on Yelp. He very clearly laid out all of our options and which one he thought would be best based on our situation (note that it was not the most expensive option). They replaced the water heater two days later (the day we requested based on our schedules). Both Tyler and his brother were great to work with. This was very much appreciated, as prior to calling Two Brothers, we had contacted a different water heater repair company who was 4 hours late to the appointment, charged $80 just for a quote, and then tried to push us to the most expensive route. At 9:30pm on 12/20/18, I noticed water under my 2006 water tank. I attempted to contact several yelp plumbers through Yelp's messaging system. Tyler was the first to respond within 10 minutes. After forwarding pictures of my current set up, I had him call me, and we had an appointment set for the next day to replace my water heater. Two Brothers turned out to be the most reasonable quote that I received overall, and certainly the most prompt and speedy in terms of fitting me in! Chris showed up on Friday 12/21, drained and hauled away my old water tank, and installed the new one. A very nice guy on top of being good at what he does. I would absolutely recommend Two Brothers. An awesome customer experience!

We needed our water heater replaced fast, and feel that we were taken advantage of. Over $1600 for a water heater that costs about $600 online, with about an hour of labor to install it. No written estimate; no documentation of the work that was done; they didn't fill out the warranty paperwork...the whole episode was incredibly rushed and not very professional.
Not calling them again.

UPDATE: Someone called to discuss the 2-star rating. We went through the whole replacement process, and discussed how their costs breakdown. They offered a $250 refund of the price we paid, so that seemed fair and I added another star. My strong preference would have been to have this all explained, documented and done right from the beginning, so I can't give them 4-5 stars, but the resolution was fair.

My water heater was in a difficult location (small utility closet behind washer and dryer). They did an excellent job of removing the old water heater and installing a new one. My experience with Two Brothers was a much-needed bright spot on a challenging day! We woke up in the morning with little hot water and discovered a leaking water heater. My husband had appointments he had to keep and I had laryngitis. I got online to see if I could make an appt without having to talk to someone on the phone and Tyler of Two Brothers responded to my inquiry within minutes. The whole experience of getting a quote and scheduling them to come in and replace the water heater was smooth as silk and all done over text and email. They were able to work us into their schedule within hours. Tyler was responsive, efficient, and able to work with me around my laryngitis. He explained it to me that he could replace the thermocouple which costs less or replace the old unit. We decided to replace just the thermocouple; however the water heater still does not work. I have to say these guys were awesome. Had my water heater(Power vent system w/ radiant heat that a lot of other companies wouldn't even quote due to difficulty) go out on me on New Year's Eve. I naturally looked on Yelp for who to call and these guys were one of the top rated in my area. I can totally understand why. They promptly called me after my quote request and after a few questions were able to quote me over the phone. I would not say they are the cheapest but you get what you pay for. They were out the next day within the timeframe they told me they would be. Chris and his counterpart took care of my swap out in less than two hours. The new system ended up needing a little bit different exhaust pipe than what they originally put in so they came back and swapped it out the same day to make sure I had hot water and heat. Definitely would recommend them for any plumbing needs especially complex hybrid hot water heater/radiant heat systems.

My tenant requested for a water heater replacement. It is somewhat challenging because I no longer live around the area. I sent a request via yelp and received a few responses. Tyler is super responsive. I sent him a couple pictures and he made the recommendation for the brand, model, quote and generously agreed to work on it the next day. It is amazing to have a brand new water heater installed from the time of my request was less than 48 hours. Tyler is very professional, knowledgeable and polite. The entire cost including hauling away the old one is around $1,400, which is similar to another post. Fantastic service! No nonsense, responsive, friendly, quick and clean! Moved to a new house and wanted to replace the heater before it gave up. I searched a few businesses on Yelp, this one read well by the reviews - didn't disappoint! Exchanged text messages with Chris and sent a few pictures of the existing tank. He called me and asked a few questions - I know zero about water heaters, he advised on what made most sense, gave me the price and agreed to schedule the following week. As it wasn't urgent, I wasn't overly rushed - he moved with whatever my schedule needed. Texted me a few hours before to check I was still free, and again when he was 10 minutes away. All I had to do was show him where the tank was, hardly 30 minutes later they were done! Really efficient and friendly. Excellent service!!

They worked hard to get my job done, and communicated with me every step of the way. My water heater had given out at the onset of our winter storms of February 2019. I called around for information and estimates, and Tyler took time to explain options to me and give me recommendations, as well as a ballpark estimate over the phone, using a phone picture to figure out what would be compatible with my current system. I called several businesses and Two Brothers was quick and responsive, and had the most reasonable bid. The city shut down because of snow, and although it was not possible to deliver, Tyler communicated with me each day for an update and worked to accommodate my schedule when there was finally a break in the weather. Two Brothers is great. They we able to help us right away. The expansion tank near our water heater was leaking, I called and Chris was able to come out later that same day. He replaced the old tank quickly and it was a pretty great deal.

Later that day I realized that water was now leaking out of the pressure release valve on the water heater. I called Two Brothers back and they sent Chris back out to take a look. He figured that the valve was probably faulty and changing things in the system had caused it to leak. Chris replaced the valve at no extra charge. Amazing!

Tuesday morning about 12:30 I get a nudge from the wife saying I think we have a problem. Go downstairs and sure enough the hot water tank is leaking. We shut off the valve and clean up the water.

About 6:00am we contact 3 companies. We have a 1 year and 3 year old, so can't go too long without hot water. Two Brothers is the only one that answered the phone. The lady was really nice, asked a couple questions and said the tech would call me some time that morning. 5 minutes later I get the call. After Chris spent some time educating me, we decide on the go forward plan. By 10:30 we had a new water heater.....before I had heard back from the other two companies.

I noticed water on the garage floor and checked the hot water heater to find a slow leak that had probably been going on all day (at least). I turned off the water and went to find a plumber to call. After talking with Tyler on the phone, he said he could have someone to the house in 1.5 hours, but would call me back once the technician was headed to our house.

After hooking up a hose to drain the hot water heater, I decided to call Tyler back to make sure I did it correctly. Tyler gave me simple instructions to make sure I drained the water heater to prevent further water damage to the walls/supporting frame for the water heater and then told me the plumber would be at our house in about 20 min. Total time from my 1st phone call to the plumber at our house was probably 30 min (awesome response - Thanks Tyler and Julian). I was still draining the water heater tank when Julian showed up and got to work. He made sure the tank was draining ok, made an evaluation of what he'd need to remove/replace the water heater and went to go pick up the new water heater (letting me know when he'd be back). Once he returned, he made quick work of getting the broken water heater out, the area cleaned up and the new water heater installed. From my first call to having the new water heater installed was less than 5 hours. That's way faster than I expected.

Julian and the team at Two Brothers also made sure we paid a fair price and gave me the warranty info (for their work and the new water heater) before leaving around 11 pm. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a quicker, more professional job than Two Brothers did to get our broken water heater removed and the new one up and running.

Came home to find water leaking through the walls. Not a good sign. Found these guys located in the same neighborhood, called, shot some photos with my phone and shared. Within 90', Chris shows up at our door with a replacement and installs it just as fast! Our hot-water heater also heats our closed, in-floor radiant heating and our hot, potable water. Such a good experience I had to write a review!

Came home to a leaking water heater Saturday evening. I quickly called and left voicemails with a handful of companies requesting immediate assistance.

Chris was the first to call me - at 6:30am the next morning (Sunday!). We walked thru the issue, exchanged text photos of the scenario and talked through options to resolve the problem (e.g., different water heaters, cost, timing, etc..).

The end result was Chris showing up at my house by noon with a brand new water heater. The install was efficient, clean and executed properly (Mike Holmes would be impressed).

Chris is an unmatched professional in his trade - he was incredibly timely, clearly knowledgeable, honest, fairly priced and unwavering in his commitment to doing the right thing for the customer.

No need to look elsewhere - call Chris for all things plumbing..

This company is awesome! I came home at 3:00 pm and found water in my garage. Our water heater was busted. Not only did they show up by 5:30, but their prices were extremely competitive and they did not charge anything extra for working until 7:00 pm. First off, these guys are great. We had our water heater replaced a few years back by another company. Since then, we've continually had issues with the heater itself tripping (not the breaker) and elements burning out. The tech that installed the unit charged us each time he came out to fix the problem and informed us it was due to low water pressure coming into the house. This seemed like a reasonable explanation, so we went with it and kept paying to replace the element and resetting the tripped unit. It was expensive and a pain, not to mention the numerous times we had no hot water in the morning. Fast forward to calling Two Bros...I explained the situation to Chris and he said it was most likely an electrical issue or the water heater was faulty, but probably not from low water pressure, as many Seattle homes have low pressure. I explained that the electrical had been updated to code by a licensed crew, so we didn't think that was the issue. The next day, Chris came out and replaced our unit. This was a several weeks ago. We've had zero issues since he put in the new unit. We even have hotter water quicker. He was honest, professional and quick. I regret not calling them sooner so we could have avoided years of this annoyance. So happy to have the problem solved!

We were told repairing the old water heater was an option, but since it was already towards the end of its life, over 14 years old, we opted to do the whole water heater replacement. Water heater went out on a Saturday so the plumber I use was closed. The first two places had you leave a message. The third place was 2 Brothers. A nice lady answered and after a few question said her plumber Chris would call soon. With in a few minutes got a call sent some pictures got a price and set up a time Sunday morning for the install. Chris was awesome! He responded quickly providing same day service to replace a combination water heater/space heater unit. Chris understood the emergency with paying airbnb customers and made room in his schedule even though the search for a replacement unit took him well out of his way. The fact that he is an extremely friendly and courteous person was just icing on the cake. I highly recommend Two Brothers Water Heater Repair.

These guys were professional and efficient. We had our water heater go out the night before, and they arrived the next morning to replace it. We live in a condo, and Chris was so helpful in getting our water heater around our stacked washer and dryer combo. When it didn't go through, he didn't just shove it in, he problem solved the issue and together we were able to get my dryer out of the way in order to put the water heater in. Instead of getting the typical run around about how there's nothing they can do, he tried to help me figure it out, and we were successful! I cannot recommend them enough for the professionalism, customer service, and efficiency that they have.

Chris (one of the brothers) came when he said he would, did what he said he would and charged what he said he would! He was pleasant, helpful and we would use this company again--without a doubt!!! We had an 85 gallon water tank that (finally) died. When emptied, it weighed just 50 pounds BUT it was too large to get up the stairs of the basement of our 1922 home. We have no idea how we got it in the basement, but it wasn't going to come out with the measurements of the stairs. Chris lowered the price he quoted because he couldn't take it, but still said, if we got it out he'd come by, pick it up and haul it away AND he lowered his quoted price to account for the fact he couldn't take it out!! He was also fast and most pleasant. THANK YOU, CHRIS!!!!

Look no further for a company to replace your water heater! Brothers Tyler and Chris are fast, efficient, affordable, very helpful AND wonderfully friendly to boot! My husband and I were cleaning out our basement and discovered our thousand year old water heater had a small leak. We looked on yelp and reached out to several companies and these guys were one of the couple who responded. Once we started communicating about what we needed, they were able to set up an appointment for us the very next day to replace our water heater. Tyler texted me in the morning to let me know the 2 hour time window in which to expect his brother Chris to come by with the new tank, then texted me 30 minutes before actual arrival to give me the heads up. No joke, his brother Chris with an assistant replaced our water heater, took away the old one and was gone in under 30 minutes! Wish more businesses could be this efficient and customer service oriented. THANK YOU Tyler and Chris for making the process painless and positive!

No hot water on a Friday morning. Ugh! The first place i called didn't repair hydronic water heaters. Two Brothers squeezed me in on the same day. Chris was on time and knew immediately what was wrong. The mixing valve needed adjusting. Chris adjusted it and he didn't even charge me. Fast and honest. You can't beat that. I definitely recommend Two Brothers!

I hate to just hand out 5 star reviews, but I was ridiculously impressed with my first time doing business with this company. I sent a quote request via Yelp and within about 5 minutes I got a call back. I then sent a photo of what I wanted corrected, and again got a call back immediately and had a quote. Chris was able to come out the next day (which shocked me, especially for something that was cosmetic and not urgent), and he was on-time. I'm a pretty handy guy, but I admit there are certain things I don't want to mess with, and one of those is gas lines. Chris was in and out quickly and he did a great job!

My pilot light went out this morning. When I returned home from work I tried everything to get it re-lit but had no luck. I searched water heater repair and noticed Two Brothers had 24 hour service so I called around 8:00PM and was quickly taken care of. The person on the phone took my information and said that someone would be calling me very shortly. My phone rang in less than 5 minutes and the plumber walked me through everything in less than 10 minutes. What an awesome experience. I will certainly be calling them in the future when I need a new water heater installed.

me and my family were in a real bind last week. our water heater decided it didn't want to work anymore. the type of water heater we have is pretty expensive and not as easy to find. with a best case scenario costing a bunch of money and not having hot water for a couple of days. I called a bunch of places and got the same generic answer with very little info or options. I got in contact with Chris and he really took the time to listen to my problem and give me actual options. and even though he wasn't able to directly help me that day, he pointed me in a direction and offered advice to help me and my family out. later that day he even called to make sure that I was able to get it fixed. they are top notch and I will most certainly call these guys for any needs I have in the future.

Amazing. He was able to schedule a plumber to come out the same day. Simple re-light and that was it! If I have any other plumbing issues with my water heater, I'll be contacting them again. Very pleased.
