I highly recommend Preston Plumbing. They are very competent, knowledgeable and prompt. I've used them for minor repairs but also larger installs. A whole house water filtration system and sump pump installation. All work is warrantied. My confidence is high with this company.

Preston Plumbing has set itself apart as the only plumbing service we will utilize for our plumbing needs moving forward. Preston (the owner) responded to our inquiry promptly. He was able to offer us an appointment within a couple of days, and he kept that appointment. He was respectful and personable throughout all of our interactions. And, perhaps best of all, he was able to diagnose and fix our plumbing issues quickly and competently. It can be difficult to find good, reliable service in this day and age, but Preston Plumbing is certainly on that shortlist.

Cuts corners. Ghosted and didn't fix the issue he created. Costed $4k more and a different company to fix the issues he created.

It's a little long, but if you're looking at Preston Plumbing, Inc. for a big job, do yourself the favor and read. I'll leave a TLDR at the top for the lazy.

TLDR: Preston installed new tankless hot water heater, he botched it and ghosted me, leaving me without hot water during the first 4 weeks of winter due to shit weather and me being naïve.

I'm a new homeowner and not skilled with any DIY jobs. August of 2022 and my tankless hot water heater died and needed to be replaced.

The first few places I called couldn't do installations of tankless heaters. Preston was the first I found who said he could, so I went with him. He came out 2 or 3 days later, ripped out my old unit, then installed the new and was on his way. The new unit worked great, up until the middle of November that is. Our new heater started flashing exhaust blockage error codes.

Called Preston up and he came out the next day to take a look. He took off the front, turned on the water, checked a couple of hoses. He told me I need to go on top of my roof to look for any blockages that in my vent, and to text him with my findings. This was the last I heard from Preston.

Multiple calls and voicemails sent, never heard back. I just wanted hot water before it got really cold. That same week it started snowing :( These calls were over the course of 2 weeks. I figured he might be out of town for the holidays or taking a vacation. We're all people. Eventually I had to come to terms with the fact that I was being ghosted.

A few appointments with other professionals later and the problem was figured out: Preston had installed the tankless hot water heater too high up my wall which in turn pushed up the exhaust vent. This led to a buildup of condensation that turned into over a gallon of water in my pipes, preventing the exhaust from exiting. Additionally, Preston used all the pre-existing fittings and piping from the previous heater while the new plumber replaced all of the old fittings and piping.

Preston was nice, personable, timely, and seemingly knowledgeable. My only conclusion for him not returning any of my calls was that he didn't know what the issue was or that he knew it would cost him more money.

The sellers of a home we had recently purchased had a plumbing contractor make a repair on a gas fitting in the attic after noticing a smell in the entryway.  My brother and I came up from out of state to paint and noticed the same strong smell in the entryway and laundry room.  We reached out to the plumber they had used and his response was that he believed the odor was something other than gas and likely a musty damp smell and to turn up the heat.  Another colleague from his shop never showed up after stating they would stop by to look at it. We also found that another plumbing contractor was called out to address the smell before the 'repair' was made and they couldn't isolate the leak.

We reached out to Preston after noticing a gas smell coming from the water heater controller area.  I asked if he could replace the 10 year old water heater and look for any other leaks.  He responded to my late evening email about an hour later  and said he would be there the next day at 1PM to replace the water heater and assess for any leaks.

Preston arrived on time and immediately noticed the gas smell in the laundry and water heater area.  He went up into the attic and found the gas smell was very strong. He replaced the water heater (found a loose gas fitting) and began isolating the gas leak with a couple of tests and narrowed it to the fittings in the attic.  He thoroughly explained the process and said he would need to come back to pressure test the system to isolate the fittings or appliances that were leaking. He turned off the gas at the tank until he was able to come back.

Two days later Preston was back and found two leaks in the attic.  One was a small leak and another was a huge leak coming from the 'repaired' fitting the prior plumbing contractor completed.  The system was losing about 20lbs every two minutes. Since I was out of town, Preston videoed and photographed the damaged flex pipe caused by the previous contractor when he cut the pipe, which was the primary source of the leak. He completed the repairs and pressure tested the system again to ensure there were no more leaks.  Something the prior contractor should have done but apparently didn't.

I never write reviews but I felt I needed to here.  Everything happens for a reason.  By answering my late evening email, Preston simply saved us from disaster.  No question in my mind that Preston will be the only plumber I use for any future projects or issues.  Preston was thorough, prompt and cared enough to investigate the gas leak and repair it.  He was honest and charged a fair price for his work.  If you ever find yourself needing a plumbing contractor, Preston is hands down your guy.  Don't waste your time or take any chances with anyone else.   Thank you Preston!

Amazing!  We found a leak at 730pm hoping for someone to come out the next day. I called and left a message and Preston texted later in the evening. He was out first thing in the morning and saved our kitchen from flooding. We still haven't heard back from any of the other plumbers we left messages with with and the job is already completed. Highly recommend!!!  Thank you!!!

We've hired Preston to install a new water heater and, more recently, to replace an old galvanized drain pipe to our kitchen sink (still traumatized from the sound of the basement ceiling caving in from a water leak...anyway). He is courteous, works quickly, and knows how to correct questionable plumbing choices made by the previous homeowners. Preston is not the cheapest plumber out there but his pricing is reasonable and we know the work will be done correctly.

Unprofessional and zero customer service skills.

Landlord called for him to be dispatched out and diagnose a leak in the plumbing.

I tried to schedule a date/time for a dispatch to investigate and resolve. He turns around asking me for photos of a job he has already taken. I explained that these could be provided, but id like to set a date/time. He proceeds to choose words which essentially tell me to f off.

If you want to hire a plumber who cares about providing good service and acts professionally do not call Preston Plumbing.

I had a non-operational shower faucet and called another plumbing company that wanted to charge over $500 for the repair. Preston fixed it over the phone just by diagnosing the brand of the part. Five stars for professional Knowledge and honesty when he could have insisted on an expensive repair visit. Will definitely hire for future work.

Preston runs a straight forward business model: He does what he says, does so with excellent service, pricing is fair / market priced, and is highly trust worthy.  In the world of contractors, it's a pleasure working with someone who is dependable and reliable.  Also, on-time!

We just bought a house and had a few plumbing projects we wanted to do.  I sent a message on the website last month for an estimate but didn't receive a response. I called to follow up a few days later and left a voicemail. Preston returned my call the next day while I was at work and gave me his cell which I called back twice and also had my husband call but never heard back. I was excited to find Preston Plumbing because they're local and 5 stars so disappointed we never got a response. I get everyone is swamped right now and not sure if it's because we have out of state numbers but still unprofessional.

We remodeled our kitchen last year and recently discovered a that very slow leak under the kitchen sink has permanently damaged the cabinetry.  Very upsetting!  Preston showed us where the mistakes were made and the wrong parts that were used, and redid all the plumbing.  He even gave us a moisture detector alarm free of charge.  That and his attention to detail have done wonders for our peace of mind.  He was very professional and courteous and wore a mask the entire time he was in our home.  We have already recommended him to others and will use him again in the future.  (In regard to the reviewers that were unable to connect with Preston I can say that I called on an afternoon and left a message which was returned the next day.  For non-emergency situations I don't mind waiting, especially if I can speak directly to the plumber rather than going through a receptionist)  PS  He was also very kind to my cat, for any animal lover reading this review...

Wow!  Talk about impressive!  We had another local plumbing company out earlier this morning.  I was expecting them to do some work,  but instead they just gave me a quote.  I was not impressed with them and decided to get another quote.  I called Preston Plumbing.  Preston gave me a quote over the phone, which was considerably less.  He came out within an hour and did the work very quickly and efficiently!  I would definitely call Preston for any plumbing work!

Our shower head suddenly started leaking early last week.  I decided to try Preston Plumbing because of their 5 star glowing reviews. Twice last week I left messages on their answering machine with no response.
Then I left a written request through their website on Monday.  Still no response. In the meantime the shower head is leaking a tub full of water every hour.  This lack of response is very unprofessional .

Excellent!!  Bathtub wouldn't drain at all. Left a message Wednesday morning.  They called me back that afternoon.  They were out the next day (20 minutes early...loved that).  Quick and efficient.  Explained what he was doing every step of the way. Very courteous.  Very professional.  Highly recommended.

Preston Plumbing was great.  They returned our call the same day a message was left and they were able to fit us in to their schedule quickly.  We had issues with our water pressure in our master bathroom and the install of the shower handle was done incorrectly by the previous homeowner.  Preston Plumbing arrived ahead of schedule and quickly fixed our issue.  We will definitely use Preston Plumbing again - they are responsive, knowledgeable, and professional.

with regards to Chandler H's Comments below, I am the property manager for his house. I went over to look at it to make sure it was Not a loose pipe, after doing so, I called my dependable Plumber as in Preston Plumbing (who I have used for the entire time I have been doing Property Management. Anyway- Preston just called the tenant Chandler to set a time, but at the same time asked if she could possibly shoot a picture of the underneath of the sink & text to his cell phone, as there are thousands of parts that possibly would be needed and Preston just wanted to make sure that he came prepared to fix the job once and for all.  Anyway- the tenant basically told him that he would not do that and basically told him to get over there and fix it.  Preston called me to let me know and I called the tenant to let him know I was coming over to shoot that picture, which he refused to let me do and finally texted the picture.  I think I had a tenant that was having a bad day.  Anyway- I know Preston personally and he would NEVER tell anyone to F-off, that is for sure!! We felt it best to get a different company to go look at the problem as it seemed that the Tenant had a problem with Preston which went back to installing a brand new dishwasher the owners purchased for this unit.  Anyway- I felt it unfair for the tenant to talk about my trusted Plumber this way- as he has done everything right on all the other jobs that I have had him do and at a fair price.  As it was the owner ended up paying probably double what Preston Plumbing would have charged to fix if he just had a quick picture of the piping under the sink.

Preston is wonderful - he is prompt and tells you up front what the cost will be.  After he had come to fix a valve, another problem with my hot water heater came up the next day.  He called me back at 7:30 am to tell me he could come right away - replaced the water heater and made all the adjustments and still made it in time for his scheduled appointment with someone else at 9:30am.

I left a voice message on March 28th detailing a standing sewage issue that I had in the crawl space under the house.  I understand that my issue is disgusting and I wouldn't want to do it either, but wouldn't politeness presume that at least a call back would be in order?  A simple I'm sorry Ma'am but that is not something we are qualified or want to do,  instead of ghosting me.

We have a Navien tankless water heater that other local plumbers weren't experienced in and we've given money away to them trying to repair it.  I wish we were given Preston Plumbing information from the start.  Great customer service, quick turn around time and excellent on site service. Our unit was replaced in less than an hour and 45 min and hot water was restored. Choose Preston if you're looking for 5 star service and support local!

I would highly recommend preston plumbing.  We closed on our new house which had a 21 year old gas hot water heater just hanging out on the ground.  We called places like home Depot and Lowes to see how much going tankless would be.  Both gave us a ballpark range of an ungodly amount to go tankless.  We found preston plumbing online and decided to call them because he has the best reviews online.  Boy was a glad we found him!  He was very polite,  helpful and installed the tankless gas water heater very quickly!  It works great!  The BEST part was that his price didn't even come close to home Depot or Lowes!  If you want excellent service for a reasonable price,  preston plumbing is the way to go!

Preston is such a great guy!  He was quick to step to the plate with a plumbing emergency and corrected in less than 20 minutes.  Not only is he awesome at his trade, but he has manners as well, and refused to wear his shoes in my house.  A true lifesaver, this guy is, and if you need a plumber, Preston is the right guy for the job!

What a relief to find an honest, affordable, professional, courteous plumber who fixed both my toilet and sink leaks quickly and didn't charge an arm and a leg for the replacement parts. He showed up on time, quickly went to work and had both fixtures working the way they're supposed to in under an hour. I'm definitely recommending him to my friends and family and he's going to be the one I call in the future for sure.

My water heater needed replacing.  Preston gave me an instant quote to replace it over the phone, came the next day and replaced it in about an hour.  The price was exactly as quoted.  The price was lower than the 2 other plumbers I quoted and Preston was able to take care of it sooner than they were.  During the job Preston was very polite and professional.  For any future plumbing needs I will only be making one call - Preston Plumbing.

My wife and I heard through the grape vine that AO Smith Hot Water tanks are on the higher end but well worth the cost.  Unfortunately you can only buy them through contracted plumbers.  I pulled a search on line to find a couple different plumbers in Kitsap County that carry and install the AO Smith line.  After getting one of the two contractors to come to my home and give me an estimate I nearly passed out ... or punched the guy, I wanted to do both actually, for giving me such an insane estimate.  The guy quoted me at $3100.00 !!  Sure this included haul away of the old tank, a new stand and a 2.1 gallon overflow tank ... I still new from researching prices that this was insane.  HA !!  He even wanted $200.00 for installation of new earthquake straps !!!  That's when I called Preston to get a second quote.
He was scheduled to arrive at 8:00 am on my day off.  He arrived at 8:03, very punctual.  He removed my old tank, installed the new AO Smith tank .... NOTE:  Exact same tank that I was quoted from the other contractor by the way.  He installed a new metal stand and the overflow tank with new earthquake straps and was done by 9:10 !!!!  Only took him one hour.  Guess what I paid ...... $1429.00 ... AFTER TAX !!!!!
Bottom line, this guy does awesome work, he's very sociable and friendly, and his costs for materials and labor are not through the roof.  I would recommend his work to anybody in the Kitsap area.  I won't name names on who the other company is because I don't want to rub mud in their eye but if you are looking for an AO Smith there are only one two companies in this area who installs so you can figure it out pretty easily who the other company is.
Thanks Preston for doing such great work !!  I will definitely recommend you to my co-workers and friends.

I highly recommend Preston Plumbing.  Preston came to my home for a disposal installation, dishwasher installation, and water line installation.  He knew what he was doing, worked very efficiently, and was both polite and considerate.  I purchased the dishwasher at Sears and originally ordered the installations through them; the person who came to install the dishwasher didn't complete the installation, and his knowledge in doing so seemed limited.  Thankfully, Preston was able to come out quickly and take care of all of our plumbing needs including a pesky leak.  We have an older home, and I am sure we will have issues come up here and there.  We will definitely call Preston Plumbing in the future.

I was in the Seattle area visiting my grandfather and unfortunately plugged up his sink making dinner.  After several hours trying to resolve the problem myself, I gave up and called a Plumber the next morning.  Preston answered right away and was at my grandfathers house within the hour.  He made short work of my mess and I was relieved to have this problem resolved.  I would recommend this company, they are prompt, do good work, and the bill is reasonable.

A few years ago I called a local plumbing chain for drain and pressure problem in my 1928 home with its galvanized piping. While their technician was here I asked for an idea of how much it would cost to do a re-plumb of my home. I was stunned at his estimate, even though it wasn't an official quote, and shocked at how cavalier he seemed about ripping up my walls. That figure actually got me thinking on doing the work myself, down to the point of practicing on making up copper and PVC joints.

When the inevitable came two months ago, and I had torn my own walls open in preparation for the first cut, I looked at my wife and asked if she was ready. She gave me the Wouldn't you like to call someone first look as she said Yep, I'm ready. Brave girl! So I took some time to search the net for local plumber reviews, knowing who I wasn't going to call. I stumbled upon Yelp, and after reading a couple of pages of reviews, found that Preston Plumbing was local to me and had great reviews. I called and we met later that day. We ended up hashing out a plan to re-plumb my house. Nice guy, polite and respectful to both me and my wife. Anyway, the price he quoted was fully 50% less than the local chain quoted me years before. There was just about a week between when he first quoted me a price and when he started the work, and in that week I changed the plan twice. I decided on replacing my 21yr old water heater and told him that I wanted copper in the basement instead of PEX. He adapted well to these new requests and the adjusted price quote was still acceptable, still 40% less than the chain had quoted me for just the re-plumb without a water heater. And, with just a bit of help from my wife and me, we all had the job done in 2 days, totaling @19hrs (he worked hard to fit the job into my time off work).

I've already recommended him to people I know and will continue to do so.
