Yesterday, my problems were solved!  A friendly greeter referred me to Matt at the service desk, I explained my problem, which Matt understood in less than 30 seconds, and read my mind to name the parts I was planning to attach to that I had not brought in with me.  This took less than 30 seconds (and unsucessfully took 10 minutes each at two other stores not worth mentioning that are closer to home for me).

Not only did I get the right part, Matt helped me understand the working tolerances of the adapters I needed, made a few suggestions to support me being able to re-use the parts in a future project, and I left with a simple, affordable, reliable solution.  A problem that two other shops thought made me crazy, or was impossible.

I am a small, female-appearing person and I was treated with much courtesy, respect, and friendly hospitality.

I'm going here first for future needs.  I liked how I was treated and how quickly and professionally I received JUST the expert solution I needed.

Again, I have received amazing service from Aurora Plumbing, and in particular, Sean Brewer.  In November - December 2022 he led the team that repaired my damaged sewer line and installed a liner.  Their work was fast, professional and worked as expected.  This week, in July 2023, I asked Sean to come out and mark where the sewer line is so that it wouldn't get damaged when I replace a fence that runs above it.  He came out with some magic tool, opened up the sewer line and was able to mark on the grass exactly where the line is and even better, we realized that an existing fence post that will get removed is likely very close to the sewer line.  I really appreciate Sean and Aurora Plumbing's continuing support and can highly recommend their services!

These folks are wonderful, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. My very handy neighbor sent me to them years ago when I was asking about a plumbing problem, he said don't waste your time going to a big box store go to Aurora Plumbing and get quality help and the right supplies. He was so right. I was there today for a new plumbing dilemma and received great service and a solution that was surprisingly affordable! Save your time and money and go here for your plumbing needs

Super happy with the help from the folks at Aurora plumbing.  Brought in a goofy bespoke solid brass faucet that was leaking from the body. Gosh knows how long it has been installed in the house (the previous owners liked their antique fixtures). No joy figuring out what brand it is or where to get parts for repairs.  Took the time to help me find some o-rings that would work in their place provided some fall back plans
For repairs and then sent me on my way. Only cost to you is the drive over here. Awsome all round.

Aurora Plumbing has been our go to  plumbing business since we remodeled our kitchen a few years ago.  Their selection was great, as was their service.  We recently had a small leak under the sink (not due to their installation). Dean came out and assessed the issue quickly and fixed the leak. He was also very personable and explained the problem in layman's terms.  Thank you, Aurora Plumbing!

I have been a customer of Aurora Plumbing Supply many times over the years. I contacted them today to try to get a thermostat replacement for my Warm Tiles system.

Bilal was fabulous. Replied very quickly, looked at the pics I sent and determined they couldn't order for me but spent the extra time to send me links for me to order online myself (and not get charged extra for them ordering online for me).

I appreciate their thoroughness and help this encounter and all the ones in the past when I have made a purchase from them.

A great local owned business! Love to support them. Hope you will too,
Carrie

This company just isn't what it used to be. Very poor and slow plumbing repair service. I bought and had them install a new Toto toilet to save on water. An upgrade, not a repair. Took them three tries to get here with all the right parts. One had to be ordered. However, they took the old working toilet out. I was without use of our main floor toilet for about six weeks.

Finally installed, but began leaking through the light fixture onto the kitchen counter below. Stopped using toilet and called Aurora. Plumber came and told me plumbers weren't allowed to open up ceiling to find a problem. Suggested I call a carpenter. After investigating, I find plumber can open spaces to troubleshoot problems, but they can't close them up.

Called Aurora. It'd be two months before they could get someone out,but it would be the boss and he'd stay on the job until problem fixed.

Another two months with out toilet. I did not open the toilet during that time.

When I opened it with plumber there there was debris in the bowl. I flushed it, but it flushed like a lazy river, not like a Toto. Plumber said it was working fine, that's how Toto's work. Not true. I have another Toto in the house that has a powerful flush like they are known for.

No surprise that the area in ceiling was dry since toilet had not been used for over a month. And the weak flush did not create the drain problem we have been experiencing. I suggested he snake the toilet because it seemed plugged to me. He put a piece of tissue in the bowl. It gradually flushed taking the tissue with it. Plumber declared that as properly functioning. It was a slow dribble, not enough force to cause the leak. He refused to snake it or reseat it because he said that's normal. He left.

So it's July 6. I toilet was to be installed and working in March. I'm still waiting. If I can get it unplugged Myself I'm fairly certain the flooding will reoccur.

This is the absolute worse service and cockiest plumbers I've ever worked with.

Where'd you go Aurora Plumbing? It used to be a good business.

A gurgling toilet was the clue that something was blocking the sewer system in the house. The team that came out was knowledgeable , clean cut, polite, and after an inspection by camera, found the blockage. Turns out the next door neighbor had installed pipe liner in his system and in the process had blocked my line. After a couple days and bringing more equipment, everything was opened up and flowing, my landscaping was carefully put back in order, and I'll be getting a check from the neighbor's plumber to pay for their mistake.
I always call Aurora Plumbing and trust the results.

This place is awesome!!! I live in MLT, I'm a homeowner remodeling my house, I used to go to pacific but after a fiasco and a few times feeling like I was an imposition I starting driving a little farther to Aurora plumbing and now will not go anywhere else. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and are nothing but helpful. I feel like they are actually happy I'm shopping there. Pacific would tell me 'well, I'm not a plumber' and I'm thinking 'well, I'm not asking you anything out of the ordinary that someone working at a plumbing store would be asked'.

This was not the first time I'd showed up with an obscure part or a photo on my camera. They always know exactly what I need, and they always have whatever it is. This time, Joel started by asking if I was comfortable working on my toilet and when I said yes, he showed me a way to save more than $30 by replacing a part instead of the whole valve. I replaced the part and my toilet now works perfectly. They are efficient, friendly, and professional. Thanks!

What a gem this business is! The service is way above and beyond. I requested to videotape a how to install a P-trap, etc. for my new vanity, on the spot, and what a video I got, plus an invitation to call at any time if I ran into difficulties. I did not spend a lot of money, to the contrary they helped me find an incredible deal on a new faucet, and all I needed to go with it. Returns and exchanges are a breeze, too. I won't shop at Lowe's or anywhere else again for my plumbing/electrical needs. And I get to support local.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. Hard to find plumbing parts for older places, this is the place to go.
We wanted to change the washer at the end of the tub faucet stem. Kevin got us a high quality green washer but also reminded us to put the raised markings of the washer faced down when putting it on the stem or else the raised lettering on the washer may be enough to keep the stem from totally getting a good seal when closed. We also wanted to change out the faucet seat. Kevin grinded down the end of the tool so it would be a perfect fit for installing the seat. Task took 15 minutes to replace stem washer and wall seat.

On another task we took out an old sink and put in a new bathroom vanity with new faucet. The drain piping just would not line up right. Home Depot and Lowe people kept selling us expensive parts like flexible extension pipes and a pipe that has an end that prevents water from seeping out non threaded connection. None of this worked very well and we still had water leaks. Kevin at Aurora Plumbing gave us a setup that worked beautifully. Key is also using the better gasket and metal ring too. We just had to make cuts to two plastic pipes. What took a frustrating three days with HD and Lowe's parts without total success, we redid the drain pipes in hours using Aurora Plumbing advice. Since it was inside a vanity, Kevin recommended just plastic. So not only the design was better, it was cheaper in cost than all the fancy cluge using the parts from the other stores. For plumbing, I would go to Aurora Plumbing first.

I was convinced it was going to be impossible to find a shower cartridge for my 1976 tub and shower. To my amazement Aurora Plumbing did carry the entire unit but was temporarily out. No problem for these guys as they rebuilt my old one while I waited which was less than 10 minutes. Better than 5 stars.

Very happy with the service provided by Aurora Plumbing. We had a water line issue and was able to get someone out quickly as well as multiple options on how to deal with it. Worked specifically with Inosia and he was great at taking the time dealing with me and our landlord. He gave us the facts and quoted a competive price. We also are dealing with a water heater issue and Chris W also gave a great explanation of our issue and options. Will definately pick Aurora Plumbing in the future. Not fun dealing with plumbing problems so it is nice to have a company you can rely on - thank you!

I Have purchased items from the store a number of times and always have found both the parts and showroom staff very helpful.  Saving me time, money and return trips!

Until a few weeks ago, I had not used their service dept.  Then our aging water heater started to fail.  Chris came out twice and was very thorough and attentive to being masked, etc...  More importantly, he did a great job and found some ways to save us money as well.  Great job, Chris!

Years ago I worked for the largest plumbing distributor in the western US and therefore had a lot of interaction with plumbers.  Like any profession, there are good and bad.  The folks from Aurora were always professional and knowledgeable.  Its good to see that years later this hasn't changed.

Wow. What a shame. Came here to fix our sink thinking we would get treated with a warm welcome with this place being local. Nope. Every single person was rude, demeaning, and talked to me as if I was an idiot as I tried to find a replacement hose for my sink. I won't be back, which is sad as someone who lives local. Maybe they just don't like women. ‍ So disappointing.

Many, many thanks to Kevin and his patience with my Grohe shower valve challenge. It may not seem like a big thing to him, but it was to me, that he pulled out every model of valve they had in inventory and at the counter we compared many types with the obsolete valve out of my old shower. Success!  Water to the house back on, shower functional again, and domestic tranquility re-established. Priceless!!

Service and quality of work was fine. Did their job, was clean, communicated well. 3 stars for that.

However, their pricing was disappointing. I was quoted $380 for a toilet install (in addition to the $600 already paid for a new toilet). Anthony came more than an hour later than the scheduled time, and charged $606 for the install, of which a part of it was the time spent for him to call his manager regarding a technical issue (the need to drill into our heated floor). This was discussed with the dispatcher beforehand. Total work came out to $1200 for replacing a toilet.

My advice is to get a do-not-exceed quote, which Aurora may or may not be willing to provide. Other plumbers come out and assess first so you won't have such surprises. When they charge $220/hour, there's little incentive to stick to an agreed upon price.

Crooks!  They said, you need to pay 15+K to replace the line...needless to say you always get a second opinion!  The other two plumbers said,  just a small section needed to be fixed and it was under 3K! WOW! Always always get a second, maybe even third opinion!

we had a tub faucet break in the on position, requiring an emergency visit from a plumber.  Aurora Plumbing was booked out for a week, but fit us in despite that (sorry to the person after me that he was late for your project, it really was an emergency!) because we couldn't have running water to the house until this was fixed.
Brian called us, worked out what part he probably needed based on a 20 year old Home depot inventory number (keep your receipts & records people!), showed up less than 30 minutes later, took my lovely but old faucet apart without a scratch, fixed the problem quickly and carefully, leaving the zone he worked in spotless.  Also he wore a mask & stayed safely distanced from us the entire time.
Pleasant and professional.  I couldn't be happier with their service!

Had someone out to fix leaking faucet charged 200 plus for a little over 15 minutes, didn't fix it.  Came out a second time and didn't fix it.  When called and asked for a different plumber i was told the faucet needs to be replaced and that they would charge me again.  Horrible service and customer service.

Ouch. What happened to sound advice, unpretentious friendly service? This place has gone downhill.  Usually, the reps are honest, friendly and the store has reasonable prices. My father has been coming here for 20 years and given thousands in business for his apartment building.

I came in with him today and received you don't know SH!T attitude while asking for advice and parts. That's bad plumbing, our rep said when I explained the less than ideal situation. This will work but it's still bad plumbing, handing over some brass fittings. What's good plumbing? He then pitched my Dad on a expensive faucet replacement. Dad - we don't need that, I said. Our rep scowled at me.

Shrugging it off as the rep having a rough day and we headed to the counter.

I couldn't believe the mark up! Literally 87 bucks for some Pex pipe and 4 brass fittings. Later, I checked online and it was half as much. I like supporting small business, especially places like this spot that's involved in the community.... it's sad to see the change.

Maybe they should write Plumbing Pros Only above the door if they don't wish to serve the non-plumber public anymore.

I was so impressed with Marie at Aurora Plumbing on Aurora Ave, in Seattle.  I had a problem with the shower diverter on my tub faucet.
She spend a lot of time helping me locate the part that I needed, she ordered it, and contacted me regularly about when it would come in.

But that was not the best part.  She helped me, (a 60 something, female) figure out how to insert the pieces.  She and one of the young men brought over a sample spout from the showroom to disassemble and then demonstrate how to put in the new parts.  Really, I must have been there for 20-30 minutes.  She has so helpful and I am so appreciative!
Thank you, Marie.

I have had a couple of experiences with Aurora Plumbing and have had great success each time. I had to have a new garbage disposal installed and they were right there for me.  A few months ago I needed to have a new vanity installed. I went in and picked out my vanity and they came out and installed it for me. I am very happy with my new vanity, they did an excellent job on installing it for me. It has a nice granite countertop, and looks great in my bathroom. Thank you very much Aurora Plumbing. Carol Boddy.

I want to give a shout out to Aurora Plumbing, and Sean in particular, who met me with a smile and made my installation of a insta-hot hot water sink dispenser a no-brainer.  This cam after a bunch of contradictory views on You Tube and a complicated and unworkable solution posed by Home Depot.

With a valve t-fitting and a recommendation to use teflon spray in cutting the hole in the stainless steel sink top, I completed the job, overcoming at lest 4 hurdles thrown my way by an old house, previous owners, and know-it-alls on line.

Thanks Sean and Aurora Plumbing!

As a General Contractor I will urge anyone considering using Aurora Plumbing and Electrical for anything to keep searching for a better plumber....I set up 2 appointments for 2 different houses a week ahead of time. The first appointment was a no show and the second one 2 days later was an hour and a half late good news is when I called they apologized and said We can have someone out there within the hour Yea Right!! I cancelled and found a great plumber to bid the first 2 projects and is currently working on a third project for me

I came in wanting to change the drain on a clawfoot bathtub to a pop-up instead of a lever actuated type.  (It turned out that this was near closing time.)  Matthew quickly pulled together the required parts except some were black plastic which would show under the tub.  I noted this.  He immediately began working on another solution;  he had to adapt one part to work by combining it with another.

He seemed to take this as a personal challenge to his knowledge and would not let me leave without a working solution.  This took until 10-15 minutes after store closing but Matthew persisted and I now have a pop-up drain in the tub.

Thanks, Matthew.  I appreciate your knowledge and effort.

I've had three appointments with Aurora plumbing. Their ability to obtain stock for less common brands is very nice (specifically Hansgrohe in my case), but the quality of their service leaves much to be desired.

I had three appointments with them:

1. I had a faucet that was not operating due to the handle not being broken. One of the technicians came to diagnose it, and determined that additional parts needed to be ordered. This was fine.

2. A different technician was sent once the pieces arrived to make the fix. The quality of the fix was not what I would have expected. My faucet handle is still loose, but the sink operates. While I wasn't completely happy with this fix, it was good enough.

3. The third appointment is the nail in the coffin.
I complained of two issues: one with my kitchen sink, and the other with my toilet.  The technician I ended up getting only does work on sinks, and not plumbing. The technician did a good job at fixing the sink, but why didn't the dispatcher tell me I'd need two appointments to fix both issues? Or why didn't they send someone capable of handling both? I'm $400+ down and my toilet is still broken.
Additionally, I called at the beginning of my appointment time slot to inquire about the technician's status and to offer parking tips, but was quickly dismissed by Joel. The technician ended up needlessly having to pay for his parking.

I won't be working with Aurora Plumbing again.

I have been working with Aurora for the last few years. If anything, they have always been prompt and arrived early or on time. Their technicians are knowledgeable and have great manners. I have had Mohammed and his coworker come check out my sump pump and they fixed the cracked pipes and valves quickly and efficiently.

They have set prices and the plumbers go off of a book for the estimates so at least you know you are getting the prices that other people are getting. I still feel it is on the expensive side, but if you are looking for a quick response and quality work, you can't go wrong with Aurora.

Wow! Amber was wonderful!

We are in the middle of a remodel and after spending the past several of the past Saturdays shopping for everything from windows to flooring to toilets my fiance and I are experiencing decision fatigue. The last thing I wanted to do was spend another day being up-sold on a kitchen faucet and other plumbing appliances.

When we walked into Aurora Plumbing Amber politely asked if she could help. She made it so easy to make decisions! We told her a little about what we wanted and our house. She gave us the space to look around and then directed our search to a few items. When we saw a sink that we liked she encouraged is to consider other equal quality but more affordable options. Within an hour we made every plumbing decision that was on our long list.

We have spent a lot of time recently with sales people through this project and Amber stands out. She was honest, thorough, knowledgeable, and helped us find exactly what we needed for cheaper than the prices we had seen online or in other showrooms. Thank you!

Let me just start with remodeling sucks. Home Depot is no help.

I came to Aurora Plumbing frustrated and in search of a knowledgeable person to help me order trim pieces to bring my bathroom vision to life.  Amber is that person! She could sense my frustration and was there to help me. We spent hours together going over what I was looking for and how she could help put it all together. My vision was flat black trim pieces for my new bathroom vanity and shower. The trouble is flat black is not popular or readily available and only two manufactures offer it and selection is minimal. Amber helped me to pick out and match pieces together from Delta and Moen to achieve the look that I was after. She was patient and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She showed me samples (in different finishes) so I could physically touch them.

Aurora Plumbing and Matt have done it again! I now have the non-leakiest 2009 Toto Drake toilet north of the Ship Canal. In the past few years they've helped me replace huge amounts of old cast iron in my 1942 house w/ABS. When I first went in with my iPad pix of old cast iron I expected the oh crap, a [white-haired 70 y/o] woman, treatment I've gotten elsewhere. Instead, they looked at my pix cast iron & fittings from decades of others' remodels and said, Gosh, that's ugly... Here's what you do...and here's what to watch out for with this old plumbing [oakum, lead, etc.] They sold me the parts, and took back what I didn't use. I've installed and removed sinks, old Dispose-alls and even replaced p-traps and 15' lengths of cast iron from a backed up bath sink that shared a drain and vent with a hopelessly rust-clogged shower from below in the basement. I had to go thru the wall upstairs to saw thru the iron pipe but only AFTER strapping it to attic joists so it wouldn't come crashing down into the basement (thanks Matt!). This time I pulled a very heavy toilet to replace flooring but when I got it hooked back up I was plagued by a leak from the base that draining, dismantling and moving the toilet three times while trying a bagful of super new guaranteed e-z improved rings could not correct. Finally, I took my iPad photos to Aurora. On Matt's advice I put in a  simple #10 wax ring and (here's the trick) buttered a spacer with wax left over from one of my failed attempts, then reinstalled the toilet, flushed... and the leak is gone. Since no purchase was needed, this was free advice.  There aren't enough stars to give Aurora Plumbing. Thanks! (I'll be back soon for help with a mysterious hosebib.)

Late in the evening I discovered my hot water tank was leaking. I called Aurora Plumbing and was relieved to find out they could have a tech out the next morning. I spoke with Paula and she was so friendly and nice to talk to.
Mark was my technician and he was great! Very friendly and professional. He managed to pull out my stacked W/D without causing any dents, and then started working on fixing the problem. Mark installed a new hot water tank the same day, and he did a great job getting my floor dried up and clean. After everything was back in place he swept up my whole living room!
I would definitely use Aurora Plumbing again. Great company!

They sold us a Scala2 water booster for our home in November 2017. The pump is now leaking water and trips our power outlet. I called at 8:30 am, right as they opened. The customer service rep, Jen. Was a absolutely sarcastic and rude. I asked when they could come service the water pump they installed. She said she doesn't think they have a technician that is able to work on them! So, they sell products they have no idea how to service?! They are willing to sell you but not willing to stand behind!  Also, another excuse for not calling us back...The management has a meeting maybe for up to 2hrs!!  So, if you wanna just blow money away and not receive good customer service afterwards. Than go here. Shame on them for selling us a product they have no knowledge about!!

I would probably not go any where else to get major work done on my house.
My neighbors ( all on the canasta circuit) all choose this place to get good work done and the elderly know what they are talking about.

I had a entire house repipe last year and they were professional, prompt and friendly.
About a year later they even came back and fixed work that another contractor had screwed up on!

Now for little problems I would choose a smaller outfit, but if you want the job done right the first time Aurora Plumbing is the place to go.

Such a great experience with their service! We recently have moved into my grandma's condo and a few of her toilets were pretty old, leaking and not working properly at all. We first had someone come out from Roto Rooter to give us an estimate and see what was actually wrong with the toilets; to find out if we would have to fully replace them or not. They said that all we needed to do was get them re-aligned so they would flush properly and they charged us way too much to even do just that!

After this visit, the toilets were still not working and so we decided to call over to Aurora Plumbing because my grandma had used them before when she had lived here previously. Aurora Plumbing sent over Brian, and he was beyond helpful! He told us what he thought was wrong in a very detailed manner, explaining to us what we didn't understand and what our options were, which ended up being replacing both toilets in the condo. We then went in to the store and picked out the toilets, super fast, easy and helpful in the showroom as well, and scheduled an appointment for the following week.

Couldn't be more satisfied with their service and am so happy we made the choice to call them! If you have any toilet/plumbing issues, this is the place to go!

Our water main coming into our basement busted a leak 24 hours before we had to leave in a business trip.  Your professional showed up in short order with all the tools needed to creatively stop our leak yet keep the water flowing.

Polite, helpful and intelligent.  We been using Aurora plumbing for 30 years.  For the intelligent consumer they charge by the hour and you're welcome to watch.  None of this phony flat rate job stuff that creates overcharging.

Thrilled; I tip my plumber $20 for a timely quality job.

I hope I never ever have another plumbing problem.  But I know I will need them again.  They are in my contact management database.  Put them in yours.

We've lived within walking distance from Aurora Plumbing for nearly 12 years, however, recently they have helped my husband for two specific issues.

They have been helpful to diagnose, recommend replacement parts, and provide guidance over the phone and in person with regards to toilet O ring gaskets and today with an electric motor replacement for an overhead bathroom vent fan.

And yes, we've called the other companies with fancy TV/radio jingles like Beacon and Southwest Plumbing to compare. Hands down, Aurora Plumbing is the clear winner you can trust. We greatly appreciate their help and professionalism since we are not home fix-it types and are on a limited income.

AWESOME!!!!!  I can't say enough great things about them.  The owners (Pam and Brian) are superb people and the employees are just outstanding.  When you can keep your same employees year after year and continue to grow your company- you are doing something right.  The employees are happy and in turn they make customers happy.
I used them to replace part of my sewer in April 2015.  Great job! Then in Dec 2015 I had an unexpected situation with a newly remodeled bathroom.  The toilet was installed in poor circumstances by another contractor.  But Dean saved the day- literally and I consider it a Christmas Miracle!  Thank you so much!  I will always call Aurora Plumbing 1st and will refer them to anyone who needs plumbing help!  = ) Highly Recommend!

Our hot water tank died. Jess was phenomenal in coordinating a response and Chris went above and beyond to come out and give us a bid. This won our business. But what wins our loyalty is their continued quality of service. Once we finally made a decision, they were quick to execute. Jess made sure to communicate to all parties (our landlord was involved) and Chris stayed late (and made sure everything was setup to be idiot proof) to ensure we understood our new system. We will be reaching out to them for all of our future plumbing needs.

Aurora Plumbing did a lousy job on my bathroom leaking. Dean came to my house and did looking at my bathroom.  He broke a hole underneath the tube and wrote Found leak in shower stall drain coming. But he could not fix it.  He saidwill order new gasket for shower and return to install gasket  He then ask Natassia White to collect $390.81.  He did not show up after my payment.  I still has the leak that he did not fix.  Natassia was mean to me when I ask her for explanation of the repair.

I love Aurora plumbing. Every time I've had questions or issues with anything that I've bought from them, they are always knowledgeable, helpful and just all-around fantastic. I want to give a big shout out to Matt Hager the parts manager. He diagnosed the issue I was having with my faucet, got the part I needed and walked me through step-by-step on what I needed to do. He is awesome and I am so grateful for him and the full crew!

Small store for supplies.  Good amount of supplies for pipes and etc but if you're lookiing for faucets, gadgets you get a better range at home depot. Think this place is really for the showroom purposes of what can be done. The showroom is just on the other side of the building down the incline walk way. Parking spaces available outside

Aurora Plumbing price gouges customers. I can understand higher prices for custom orders or when exceptional customer service is needed, but a 62% increase over the nearby Home Depot (where customer service now will take you directly to your product) for an over-the-counter Moen part is over the top. I happened to be driving by this store on Aurora and thought I would pop in there because we used this place a lot while doing a major house remodel several years ago. I figured I'd pay a little more but not 62% more. Never again! I called and asked for a price match and was told we don't do that. This premium price was not worth the customer service which I'll bet is their excuse for this price gouging. Unfortunately contractors use places like this a lot and pass their additional hefty costs on to the homeowners. Just be aware.

These guys are amazing! I had shopped at the store before, but didn't know they did plumbing house calls too until I needed to find a plumber for my second bath install. They were so amazing to work with, Mark the technician who did the job, was fast, knowledgeable and reliable. Best part is they were far less than any other bid I received. It's much harder than you think to find a reasonably priced plumber who is nice and reliable. I would recommend their services to anyone!

If I could give them 0 stars I would.  Worse experience ever!  These guys are scam-arists!

Bad service.  Liars.  Not just typical, promotional come-ons (like free sewer scope) but they actually lie about whether done the work or not.  And they won't offer DVDs to show the work.  They will squeeze of every dollar they can.

They charged $600 to re-set a toilet, when all that was needed, and asked for by the owner, was a new float in the toilet tank.  The work was not authorized by the owner.

I always thought this was just a plumbing store. Had I ever bothered to really look, I would have seen that it was also an electric supply store.

This is definitely a great option to the chain stores. What you get here is knowledgeable sales people which is often what people like me need. Low prices and bulk are good but having folks who know what they're talking about is absolutely priceless.

I went in looking for a few items recently and although they had some of them, they didn't have others. They were quick to come up with an accurate referral which I appreciate so I don't have to run all over town.

I like that there is a cashier at the door to both greet you and check you out. Additionally, a number of other staff members are around the store to help you find what you need. I'm not the most skilled at home improvement or repairs so honestly, I need a lot of help. This is definitely a great option!

If you have an older home or one with non standard plumbing this could be just the place you have been looking for. I have a home where nothing is standard. I gave them the size listed on my furnace filter (the company had gone out of business). They ordered that size but the new one did not fit. I measured my old filter and the company had shorted it half an inch on all sides so it was off. I told Aurora the actual measurements of the filter. It took a month but they got one that fit and took back the one that did not. So give them a try!

Aurora Plumbing was extraordinarily helpful today. If you want knowledgeable and pleasant customer service, this is the place to come.
I had a plumber in my home who told me he could not replace my insta hot (my favorite kitchen appliance!!!) so I called Shawn, explained what I needed and he had it ready for me behind the counter when I arrived. I took it home and the plumber said I needed a new faucet as well. So back I went to Aurora Plumbing and was lucky enough to have Josh help me. He wanted to make sure the finishes of the different appliances would match. He ensured it and quickly!!
My only regret is that Aurora Plumbing did not do the installation! I had a big project and the plumber was scheduled by the project manager.
Everyone at Aurora Plumbing helped to make my day - even the cashier, whose name I didn't get, made forking over my credit card pleasant.
Thank you Aurora Plumbing!

Once again, I am happy with Aurora plumbing. We needed help locating a leaking toilet and getting it fixed. Mohamed and his assistant showed up on time and put in a hard four hours work. Very nice men who listened and were patient with all my questions and suggestions. It was a lot of work, and they did not take a break. They had to cut a hole in the ceiling below the bathroom to expose and replace a flange and pipe, and they had to piece it back together again. The ancient toilet was hauled away and replaced with a lovely little Toto. Everything tidied up before they left. And we got a 10% discount on all the work, and more than that off on the parts. Thank you Aurora!

Contracted with plumbing unit and Mark W. came out to replace and fix old tub faucet and drains.  Both times he came out he went above and beyond the call of any duty, to not only fix what we contracted for, but to do some extra's (no extra charge!) like a leaking toilet he saw!  He completed the job faster than expected, and charged us less than the estimate.  You can not ask for a better guy; he saves you money, fixes stuff beyond the contract, gives free advice for a novice handyman like me, and all the while, is so super-considerate and friendly!  As high a recommendation as I can give someone.  I almost want to have another plumbing problem so we can use his services again!  (ok, that may be stretching it...no one wants more plumbing problems, still, if I had one, I would go back here in a New York Minute!.)    :)

We saw the commercial on TV, called and asked if they had showrooms with bathroom and kitchen fixtures,  They said they did so we headed out.  We live in Sammamish so it was a day trip not bad tho.
We were greeted right away; we brought our sink, to choose the faucets.  The sales person we could tell was new, not a bad thing, she simply had to ask many questions but all our questions were answered.  We chose the faucets and she priced.  The cost was $1100. That was what we were expecting.  The sales person got a little uneasy that it cost so much. We were not concerned.  It was a little odd.  She shared with us that we would have to buy the drain for the sink,  WE did, that was another $250.00.The sales person was kinda freaked out about the prize and started telling me how lovely my skin was and other odd personal compliments.  The order arrived in about a month.  WE went over to pick them up. The faucets were bee-yut-if-yule!  We learned after opening the box with the faucets, that set up came with the drain so we bought a d=additional drain that we did not need,  We were not correctly advised on what came with the faucet set.  So over we go to Aurora Plumbing.  My husband presented the new part we did not need and was told there is a 24% restacking fee.  My husband added that there should not be a fee since the sales person instructed us to buy the wrong item,  The retune guy found the sales person who was really really crappy to my husband. My husband did state very slowly and clearly so she could remember the sale.  She misadvised us on the products we needed.  She hurumpfed and parumped around to complete the return. We will not be back.  i'm sure there are better showrooms with knowledgeable sales people who are  gracious when a return arrives.

Aurora Plumbing is awesome!!! We had a water tank installed from a competing company. The installer broke a pipe, fixed it and left. After about 15 minutes we noticed the pipe was leaking. We called him back and he explained he was not a licensed plumber and could not fix the issue----really!!
We called Aurora Plumbing. They were able to accommodate us on quick notice, repaired the leak/pipe issue to better than when originally installed and did not gouge us on price.
I highly recommend Aurora Plumbing----a Family owned local Company.
I will sleep better tonight knowing my home will not flood!!

Used to be a nice shop.  Now it's a criminal enterprise.

Service department willfully attempts to defraud customers.  Clogged drains turn into bogus big dollar projects repeatedly (see other reviews).

Called to one of my rentals by tenant they failed to clear her drain, charged her 270+ dollars and claimed she needed to do a $5000 repair.  The repair they suggested was to dig up a 3' deep side sewer pipe and replace 5' feet of it.  This wasn't needed, and the projected charge is CRIMINAL.

I used to love the old time feel of this shop and the knowledgeable counter people.

New ownership take notice!  If you want to try and save the rapidly nosediving reputation of your firm, fire the whole service department (at least the manager and drain people) and start over with plumbers that actually want to fix problems,  not steal from innocent people.

This place is amazing. I had an issue with my faucet a few weeks ago and went in for some advice. Sean was very helpful in trying to find a part that I could use to fix the issue (given that the part I needed was no longer made). After that did not work I went back and Travis helped me chose a new faucet and then took about 30 minutes to explain to me in detail how to take out the old faucet and install the new one (with added bonus info on what do to with the broken instant hot water unit). I really appreciated the amazing service and was able to go home and do the job in less than 20 minutes.

Bad customer service. Seemed like they didn't want to sell me anything. Then asked for a specific part from another employee  and was dismissed without doing any research or trying to find the part online or calling around. Not that unusual of apart. A quarter inch coupling for brass pipe with a small filter used on instant hot faucets. Never going back. There are plenty of other helpful plumbing supply places in the greater Seattle area.

It's unfortunate that I have to write this review as I've had good experiences with them in the past. However this last time getting my water heater replaced was bad enough for me to not want to work with them anymore.

First of all the service tech was running late. I had other commitments that day and wanted to reschedule and now I wished I cancelled altogether. After waiting over an hour longer than the expected time, I rushed to my next appointment only to then look at the invoice realizing that I was billed for much more than what I was initially quoted. Turns out they only tell you the price of the tank and labor but leaves out all the extra equipment to complete the installation. An additional $300+ would be good information to provide customers as it makes a difference when budgeting for an already pricey job. We called them to provide feedback about the cost and time issues only to get a very confrontational and defensive phone call from the tech himself basically telling us that that's the way it is and what more did we expect.

The quality of the work was satisfactory. But buyer beware - ask them to be clear about ALL possible charges, free up your entire day's schedule, and don't expect any dissatisfaction to be met with good customer service.

I chose to call this place to hook up my faucet and kitchen sink plumbing because it was close to my house.  I didn't know anything about plumbing and had recently gotten new countertops and switched from a double basin 8 inch depth to single basin 10 inch depth sink.  I also needed to install a new faucet.

I was charged for an hour and 15 minutes by Brian, their service manager, to install my kitchen faucet (total of $256) only to be told that I would need to get a new kitchen faucet because it was a crappy product (mind you, this was a $200+ Kraus faucet).      He then left without taking the faucet off the sink and took all the PVC piping I had originally there, with him.  I called them to complain 2 times about that and have Brian call me the next morning, but never received a call.  I would call that robbery.

My issue with my service was that I was charged for 1) installing a faucet that probably could have taken me 30 minutes to install; 2) having to hear Brian complain about all the things wrong with the faucet, sink, and new countertops, and why he shouldn't do the install; and 3) not getting the f/u from Aurora plumbing about my PVC pipes, and the service and being unhappy about it.  They knew they had an unhappy customer and chose to ignore me.

Short story is, I kept the Kraus faucet and figured out how to install the PVC piping myself.  My faucet works great, I worked out the PVC piping myself, and my countertops look great. Even though I'm out $250, my joy is derived from knowing that these people will slowly go out of business when everyone else figures out that you shouldn't be charged an arm and a leg for half-witted knowledge.

I only give this one star as they had the products I needed. The RACIST profiling and incredibly rude sales tactics were not appreciated and not appropriate. I was ready to spend up to $400-$500 to fix my shower on a local business. After repeatedly asking to be shown products, not getting to see the products because they are expensive and the cheapest options aren't available, I finally left with a mere $76 faucet. I expressed my views upon leaving to the cashier as the manager was unavailable. Now I'm at Home Depot where they are happy to sell products to me.

I recently ordered a set of fixtures for our bathroom. I found the same parts online, but wanted to talk to somebody local about which additional things I need to complete the project. I ended up calling probably close to 10 times and doing a lot of research online myself.

I still bought the items from them but the next time I will definitely give the online store a chance.

Anything at all going on in your life, plumbing-wise?  All you need to know is Aurora Plumbing.

They helped us by special ordering a part for our shower which saved us from having to replace the entire temperature control fixture.  They asked us to email a picture to determine exactly what to order, which of course says a thousand words.

Friendly, efficient communication via phone, and really delightful (no, really!) employees.

Let me start by saying, THANKS TO JOEL!!

My husband and I were having problems with the hot water in our kitchen so we called in a plumber. We went to Aurora Plumbing to choose a kitchen faucet from three the plumber had set aside for us. Joel brought out the faucets and we discussed the pros and cons of each. My husband questioned why the plumber thought we needed a new faucet. Joel asked us what our plumbing problem involved.  Once my husband explained our issue, Joel had a very easy possible solution to try before we got too deeply involved with buying supplies (the plumber had set aside parts at another store as well) or tearing out a wall.  We rushed home, did as Joel suggested and our problem was immediately solved!

Joel saved us time, hassle, AND money! Although, Aurora Plumbing didn't make money from us that day, Joel's superior customer service guarantees we will be loyal customers of Aurora Plumbing in the future.

This might be one of my shortest reviews.

They are helpful and had exactly what we needed at a fair price.  We also were able to be in and out within fifteen minutes compared to a big box store where you have to blindly walk the aisles, hoping for someone who works there.

If you require plumbing or electric supplies, try here first.  You won't regret it.

I decided to upgrade the kitchen sink and faucets, and am so glad I went to Aurora Plumbing instead of a big box store, or my local hardware store.  I wanted real experts to advise me and do the job, which is what I got. When the time came for installation, Brian George was the person who did the installation. He did a great job and got a lot accomplished in the time he was here. Thanks to everyone at Aurora Plumbing who helped me out, the sink and faucet look great!

Update: I've since bought a new water heater and had repairs made to 2 toilets. I had the same great experience with these items, as well.

Update to the update: I have had Aurora Plumbing folks out again, this time for a fix to a leaky tub faucet and a changeout of a shower head. This time there was a bit of a glitch in how things went (Brian G. not available, unfortunately). I contacted the store, was responded to immediately and with a gracious attitude and a hand-written note. The store promptly made things right. Wow. How often do you find businesses that walk their talk and really are about doing the right thing in addition to providing exceptional services? These folks are at the top of my approved list. Thank you.

We tried several times to get a plumbing company to come out for simple task: hook our new gas cook top to gas line (~25 feet distance to main line). Other companies wanted to make into project that could be $500+. Aurora Plumbing was flexible and was able to do the work by the hour and material. Tony came out and and we spent about 2 minutes talking about the tasks, location of main gas line connector, crawl space etc and then he jumped into it. Got the connection done with two trips into the crawl space. All work completed in less time than I had thought it would take. Now I can cook my dinner tonight...been without a cook top for months.

Now we are going to Aurora for the bathtub glass wall and will upgrade our furnace (Tony will do the installation).

This a wonderful resource for plumbing parts and assistance.  I've been working on a 1927 cabin with very odd placement of waste pipes.  They were able to walk me through the configuration of sink tailpiece to trap to waste pipe, why one way would work and not the other.  I never felt like they were in a hurry.  Yes - they cost a little more than the box stores, but I'm happy to support local small businesses that care about their customers.  Client for life.

this referral is for the excellent service I received in the store while looking for a shower valve replacement for an older home. I went to the store to look for shower valve for replacement in an older home that was getting repiped the following week by a different plumber. Travis Michel the store manager was a most helpful and knowledgeable professional with informing me of  the difference between different shower valves regarding durability and repair records. He also knew  the logistics of installing different products and the potential issues a plumber could encounter with installation and made sure I had the right accessory parts for this project.

So glad I stopped in at Aurora Plumbing rather than going to home depot or lowes where the store staff really do not know much about the products, their durability or repair rates, or the issues that may be encountered during installation.  Also better than going to a one brand showroom that will be partial to their brand over others.

Amazing customer service!  Actually, almost scary.  I walk in the door with the manufacturer specific section of hose to my kitchen sink and check in with the cashier by the door.  The curious thing was that, the moment I made it through the short line and came up to the parts counter, they already had the replacement hose waiting for me. And I didn't even have the chance to tell the parts clerk what I needed. And it was the exact part that I needed. Weird. But cool.  They get five stars for service like that.

I can't say enough great things about Deric from Aurora plumbing.  First, he is absolutely customer obsessed.  He always wanted to make sure I was happy with his work (I am).  Second, he always delivered results and is right a lot.  He spotted a few things not plumbing related that my contractor did wrong -- so my contractor ended up fixing them at no cost.  I have run into my fair share of bad plumbers in the area, but Deric on two different projects Deric provided me a fair quote.  On the first one, a leaking and clogged bathroom, he ended up needing to do less work than expected so he charged me less (seriously, after you agree on a price, what plumber comes back and says you should pay me less because I didn't have to do as much as I expected).  On the second project, he had to do a lot more work than expected to install a bathtub (including some demo and putting down mortar), but he still didn't raise the quote.  If that isn't customer obsession, especially when compared to other plumbers in the area, I don't know what is.  So here are some conditions for the rest of you on hiring Deric (1) hire him immediately (2) don't hire him so much that I won't be able to use him on my bathroom renovation (kidding), and (3) be nice -- besides helping me out big time, this guy is also cool and has a family.  This guy is so trustworthy that I'm trying to take notes myself.  I forgot to mention he also looked at a toilet I was ready to replace and convinced me against it -- he tightened a few things, which makes it work great, and never charged me for it.  Of course, he earned my trust so much that I won't use anyone but Deric now.

Thank you Aurora for sending Deric and Mathew to my projects.  As you know, my first call will always be to Aurora Plumbing so long as I get Deric on my projects.

An update is deserved:  I had Deric out again because a sink wasn't flowing properly and my tile guy couldn't put the shower trim on properly.  Deric pointed out that we got the wrong trim, and that the sink flow was due to a clogged screen.  He replaced the clogged screen in 3 minutes, and instead of trying to tell me all the pipes had to be replaced to fit the trim I had, he pushed me towards the cheaper and more reasonable solution -- get the type of trim that would work.

I also got a quote from Deric for moving the location of a bathroom. He didn't come in with a low bid like others (who would have certainly come up with unforeseen reasons to drive up the price later), but he also didn't push me towards moving forward either.  We have a duplex and this would have been an improvement on the tenants section.  Deric explained why it would be so expensive to move the pipes in that room, and he also suggested some inexpensive non plumbing solutions that would give the bathroom an updated look.  Most plumbers, contractors, and frankly most people in general, try to make sure they get paid anytime they do even a little bit of work.  If they drive out to see you, there is a fee for that....if they find a leak, there is a fee for that....if they have to put on the trim after installing the tub, there is a few for that too.  Deric is that rare kind of professional who cares about his reputation and wants to have long term clients.  He has been over here 4 times now and I still can't say enough good things about him, which is why I recommend him now to all of my colleagues who have any plumbing related issues.

We've used Aurora Plumbing for years for new bathroom plumbing to a recent frozen pipe leak repair with same day service. They are experts with exceptional service. Derek and his trainee Matt fixed our broken pipe quickly, adjusted the estimate downward, coordinated with the city shutting off the water to the house and cleaned by their work area. We are always pleased with their consultation and work. There are less expensive plumbers out there, but we always get quality work for the price. Always a good investment.

Terrible customer service. Overpriced, they charged over $500 to put in a new and cheap kitchen faucet (that leaked and the sprayer never worked!).

WARNING!!! THIS COMPANY USES UNLICENSED PLUMBERS!!!

I had a bad experience with a plumbing company that was using unlicensed plumbers before and ever since then I've been cautious. Aurora Plumbing advertises that they have 'Licensed Journeyman Plumbers' and so that's why I called them.
On the day of the job, upon arrival, I asked the plumber if I could see his license. He told me he didn't have it on him. Because of my past experience, I know that plumbers are required by state law to carry their licenses with them when they are working.
When I reminded him of this, he said something like, Oh, wait. Here it is. and handed it to me. Turns out it was just a trainee card, not a valid license.

I COULDN'T BELIEVE THEY SENT ME A TRAINEE AT $140 AN HOUR!!!

I was really upset. I sent him on his way and reported it to the Department of Labor and Industries. I hope they get nailed for it.

Steer wide of this company.

This review is long overdue. Aurora Plumbing, and especially the owner, Brian, could not have been more helpful and honest.
I needed to replace my water heater, which unfortunately is a direct vent type (which is much more $ than the average water heater). I'd been doing my research, had gotten other quotes, and called Aurora Plumbing after noting the many Angie's List Awards on their website. Yelp is not always the most reliable source for recommendations, especially for services like plumbing. There's a lot of competition in this market, be wary of the one-star reviews you read for these guys.
I knew what I needed, knew it wasn't going to be cheap, but wanted someone I could trust who I felt would do a good job. Brian called me back to discuss my needs and options. He further provided some (non-pushy) education on brands of water heaters, why they work with some brands and not others (American made, quality they've seen last), and what really got my attention - he told me that replacing a water heater is pretty straight forward, and therefore they don't do quotes like other plumbing companies do, as quoting systems factor in worst case scenarios, and therefore can bump up the cost for a job that generally isn't going to uncover unknowns. Brian gave me a high-low range for an idea of cost based on his experience replacing my type of water heater (based on time to complete job, as cost of heater is a known cost). I appreciated his honesty, and in the end, the final cost was less than I'd been quoted by others, yet I knew I had a quality product and backing by a company I know I can call on if something goes wrong. Even when my water heater's earthquake strap couldn't be re-used (it was installed with a rigged strap) and had to be re-placed, therefore bringing my final cost towards the higher end of what Brian told me it would likely be, he knocked off some of the cost even when I told him he didn't need to (it pays to be nice to others). It's been 6+ months now with the new water heater, and no complaints. So glad I called Brian and Aurora Plumbing.

My family and I have used them for years. Every once in a while, I'll be in a pinch and get someone else, but I don't feel like I matter much to the other companies. They've even installed things I haven't bought from them while they are working on something else.

This is the store I go to when I need a rare part that Lowes or Home Depot does not carry. They either have in stock or can order quickly anything you will need in plumbing. Very helpful staff willing to give tips and suggestions. Pricing is higher here than the box stores but worth it. Great location as well, easy parking and blocks to I-5.

This company use to be a first rate company.  Something has changed.  I ask them to come check a hot water heater not working. Tech came out and verified it not working ( I knew that).
I wanted to know what part was the cause of it not working. Tech did not test anything, not thermostat or elements. Then stated that since the water heater was 11 years old that it should be replaced and it was not worth testing. Then he called the office and got a quote for a 50gal electric heater for $1695.  No way no how would I pay twice what other quoted ( $800-900).
I suspected the thermostat and I went to the local hardware store and purchase a new thermostat for $12.  Installed and the water heater has been working now for 4 weeks.
I will not use Aurora Plumbing again.
PS: A friend of mine had a similar experience with a sewer line. AP quoted $5000 to dig up sewer line. Another plumber fix it in 15 minutes.

Let me start by saying this was not an emergency fix.  I needed all pipes replaced, from galvanized to copper.  After two years of having almost zero hot water in the kitchen due to 70 years of rust and corrosion build up, I needed a complete overhaul of our plumbing.  These guys were awesome.  Jamie came out, gave an estimate of the work involved and delivered as expected.  We replaced about 60' of pipe when it was all said and done including the water heater.  The project included replacing pipes from the curb to the house which involved a back hoe and tearing up the cement plus city inspection.  It wasn't pretty but it got done a hell of a lot faster than it would have taken me.  And solid work.  These guys kicked ass.  Lawn got a bit torn up, but they replaced it back to original location, no problem.  Basement work took down insulation which they replaced as well.  They even put in a water line to the fridge. After the work was done, the wifey complained about not having enough hot water.  They came back out and squared that up.  Now we've got enough hot water to wash a dozen cars, much less people.  Awesome work.  Great customer service.  And easy payments.  I'd definitely call them again.

Awesome guys here. I'm a total DIY, I loathe the idea of hiring plumbers/electricians.  This is a great place because they are exceedingly helpful, even to DIY guys like myself.  My experience at other hardware and commercial supply stores is either ambivilance because I'm not calling their service department or being arrogantly blown off because I do things myself.  None of that here.  Wonderful, helpful friendly guys.  Prices are always a little more than I'd like, but thats what it takes to run a small business!

My husband and I are in the process of remodeling my father's house. We needed to replace all the toilets, so we decided to visit all the local box stores to see what was available. We found OK selections at reasonable prices but none of the toilets were what we really wanted. A friend recommended we stop by Aurora plumbing to check out their product line. We found a great selection of quality, name brand toilets. We chose a model of Toto toilet that had more features and was priced less than the box stores. The staff was very helpful and made our decision making process much easier. They also have a great selection of higher end bathroom fixtures and accessories. We will be going back to Aurora plumbing for future plumbing needs.

In the middle of a bathroom remodel job but didn't have a plumber lined up.  Called Aurora and they sent out Karl to give us a bid.  We had him back the next week to do the job and he worked well into the evening to finish a demanding and complicated remodel.  Knows what he is doing and is a total workhorse. Worth every penny.

Unbelievable. Bob came and checked out my house for a complete plumb job. He explained everything in detail and offered alternatives and advice.

But here's the best part: At the end of the walk-through he said:

You know, this is a pretty easy job if you're willing to put in the labor. If you have any mechanical ability, I recommend you save yourself $4,000 and do it yourself. Come on down to the shop, I'll give you a tutorial and set you up with the right supplies and rental equipment, and you give it a go. You have any issues, just give me a call and I'll come on over to help you troubleshoot.

As he promised, it was time-consuming but easy as pie and I spent $1,000 rather than $5,000.

Bob, what an upstanding guy.

We had a great experience with them. Very friendly staff- Billy and Chad came out to our place and we're knowledgeable and kind. (I think my four year old thought they were here to play with her, as they put us both at ease with their rapport.)

I had a leaky kitchen sink spray head, which is easy enough to fix (in this case, given the leak, replace).  Because I didn't know the brand, I took a few photos to these guys.  The nice fella brought out a part.  I was dubious since to my eye it looked a little different, but he seemed pretty sure.  Trust the experts, but save the receipt is my motto.  I got home and sure enough, perfect match.  I truly enjoy quick, quiet competence!  I'll be back when I need plumbing parts in the future.

Be careful! These guys came out to clear a shower drain and told me they would have to remove the hot water heater to do it - quoted almost 1200.00! We used Stack Plumbing instead and they cleared the drain in 15 min for 150.00.

I have had two major jobs done by this company.   Awesome is all I can say.   On budget, on time, first class employees.   I had a new copper line installed to the meter, they offered cheaper solutions and explained lifetimes associated with each solution.  I feel I was always treated respectfully.   I had a sewer line upgraded.   It was as expensive as you can imagine.  The line had previously been patched (short term solutions).  They ran a camera down and I was able to review the challenges and was able to make a thoughtful informed decision.   I think the camera work is a huge benefit.   All in all kudos to real pros.

I use them a lot as their parts counter guys all are plumbers and really know their stuff.  When Home Depot can sell you the whole part, Aurora Plumbing will sell you the small piece for $.50 and show you how to install it.  Today I had a leaking toilet and the gentleman sold me a part for $12 and was ever so patient as I went back twice to get more help.  You won't find more old fashioned, knowledgable, and honest help than the staff at Aurora Plumbing provides.  I love them

When the construction inspector takes one look at the work and tells you he can tell it was done by Aurora and knows it was done right - then you know you've selected the right company. Excellent workmanship & friendly staff - they will always be my first choice.

Set up an appt for a leaky faucet.  They showed up on time, took one look and said they didn't have the part and would have to reschedule.  Immediately called to reschedule and got told that they would call me back in 10 min. 45 min later, no call.  I called back, explained the situation, and they said would call me back and try to get someone out the next day.  They returned the phone call promptly but couldn't get the part until next week and they would call me on Monday morning.  No phone call. Must be too busy and not need the work.  Called a different service (which I will write a separate review about), they showed up, also didn't have the part, but called the home office, had someone go get it and deliver it to the plumber at my house.  Leak fixed.

They have a website but it sucks, there is no product or service info. I called for product info and waited on the phone for along time. When I get connected, they asked for my phone number so they can call me back but thet never did.

He had me over a barrel once my old water heater had been removed, the new one was uninstalled, and he said, it is going to be more expensive than the written estimate... but only by $60-$70 dollars.  I asked if I really had a choice at this point, to which the plumber replied he could install it improperly and see how long it lasts.  I agreed to go ahead with the proper procedure, and it was an additional $185.  This, by the way, was over changing a size of pipe that the Aurora plumber had already seen and talked about... he had just forgot the $185 in the original estimate.  He recorded it on the original copy I had signed, so it appeared I may have approved it initially.  I also found it alarming that he hand wrote on that signed estimate, Aurora Plumbing is not responsible for any drywall or panel repair to walls if needed.  Upon inspection, I found the exhaust hole he cut for the pipe was much too big, crudely cut, and filled in with expanding foam instead of flashing that will keep the rain out.  Now the signed document indicated that I approved of poor carpentry.  I chose AP because of favorable reviews on Yelp, but I didn't appreciate the surprise price increase or altering of the signed document.  It appears to be a quality job, but I'm no expert.  My advice:  Once signing your original estimate, put an X across the blank part of the invoice so they can't add additional expenses once you've signed.

Really helpful and friendly. I had a rather old broken kitchen sink faucet and thought i would need an entire new set. ACE hardware recommended going to Aurora Plumbing to try and get the part. They were really friendly and had a little kit with the part I needed that cost a fraction of what I thought i would have to spend. The gentleman explained how to put it together and it works like brand new. I'm really glad I found them!

I called several plumbing companies about some minor repairs I needed, and the dispatcher at Aurora Plumbing was the most knowledgeable, able to give me a very good idea of what the work would cost and assuring me both the possible parts I might need are stocked on the service trucks.  A manager called me to discuss some of the work I had requested, saying that it was something other companies recommend but is totally unnecessary in their experience.  I really appreciated his honesty, as well as his detailed, conservative over the phone estimate, so I scheduled the work with them right then.  When the plumber came out, he got the job done very quickly, so it ended up costing only half of the estimated price.  I will definitely be calling Aurora Plumbing again.
