Green Lake Electric

I must have reached out to 20+ electricians to fix my meter mast, that had a heavy tension lean.  Pat from Green Lake spent a good amount of time looking at all angles of the problem and describing his best way for the fix (including things like ground wires that no other electricians mentioned.)  The estimate came in at a good and fair cost... but I was really assured by Pat's knowledge and game plan for the repair.  Green Lake scheduled the repair within a week.

The day of, the electrician was right on time and started the work right away... I left for the day and when I returned the job was done with solid work and looked sound.

The inspector came out and nitpicked two things that were minor fixes... so I emailed Green Lake the inspection report and photos and they sent someone out to do the fixes.  Unfortunately, they forgot to do one of the two fixes... but I emailed again... and they came out for a third time to get the job right.

Stand up work for a solid price.  Thanks Green Lake.

I had some wiring and lighting that started working intermittently. A friend in construction recommended that I give Patrick a call at Green Lake electric. Patrick was very responsive and troubleshooted the challenge quickly. I will be contacting them again when I need future electrical work.

Great guys! I didn't use them in the traditional way. But our boat broke down on the lake. They saw we were having trouble and came over to help. Luckily for us since it ended up being an electrical problem. They fixed it and saved the day. They seem like great, honest and knowledgeable electricians.

This company gave me a quote, over the phone, that was similar to other companies' quotes, which were given in person. Once the electricians came out to start work, they decided they couldn't actually perform the work and said what I actually needed would cost thousands of dollars more. They said they couldn't start work on the job that day anyway and left. A couple days later, I got a bill for $120 for a five-minute visit. I called to ask why I was being billed, and the person who answered the phone said that's what they charge to come and look at an electrical panel. Considering many other companies came out to your house to give a free quote, this is a pretty lame excuse. Needless to say, I'm calling someone else to do the actual work instead of paying this company another dime.

Informed, knowledgeable salesperson who can brainstorm on the fly - like how do we do this work without opening/destroying a bunch of walls and ceilings? and how can we tweak your electrical panel so you don't have to spend a bunch of money upgrading it?

And then, best of all - line item pricing!

In my world, my clients are always asking me how can we save some money on our remodeling work?  Well, it becomes really easy to have that conversation when we can review the electrical proposal and say well, is the extra heater in this room worth this much moeny to you?  Yes or no?

My clients appreciate it, and so do I!

We have had Pat and Dave do work on our old bungalow twice in the past year.  Both times they exceeded expectations.  The first time they figured out how to remove some old knob-and-tube wiring while maintaining power to the areas it served.  They put in new wiring to fixtures on finished walls and you couldn't even tell anyone had been there.  No dust, no fingerprints, no scraps of wire.  The second time it was to add two outlets in the living room.  The first thing Dave did was spread out a mover's quilt to protect the floor and catch the dust.  The first tool he brought in was a vacuum cleaner, which he used to collect the saw dust as he made the holes for the receptacles.  End result:  a perfect job with zero mess.  In sum, courteous, professional, meticulous.  After trying three other small Seattle firms, these are my go-to guys.

I had 4 jobs done in my townhome this week and Patrick and Dave did an excellant job! They replaced two wall heaters, installed a new outlet and fixed my door bell. The pricing is reasonable and well worth it. They are efficient, knowledgeable and tidy. I think they left my place cleaner than it was:)

They made an appointment to come for a quote. I was late for work because I waited, and they never showed up. They did respond to my voice mail 8 hours later to say they'd forgotten.

This company took advantage of my 82 year old mom. They said they spent 2 hours there looking  at a  light switch that my husband just put in and looking in the attic and in the basement but cannot tell me what they actually did. She did not realize that she had sent two checks to them, and when I talked to them they said they wondered why she had done this, yet they did not think twice about cashing them both. I demanded repayment and they sent a check, but I wonder if I had not called would they have just kept her money! Not even worth one star.
