Electricians Today

Jeff and team were amazing! He was originally missing the tool he needed to complete the job so he came out again at no cost to resolve. While servicing my hood vent issue they also fixed a light switch and electrical outlet issue at my town home. Once they got the hood vent working properly they went above and beyond and went to Home Depot to get light bulbs for me.

Andrea was great with scheduling and such a pleasure to speak with.

Jeff re-wired our entire 1920's home! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the work he did for us. He's truly the best and a total expert- especially dealing with older homes and all of the quirks that come with them. I trust him 100% and look forward to working with him again for future projects.

Wow - showed up same day even though booked for the rest of the month, they worked me in for an outdoor outlet repair that had melted.  Turned out the former electrician hadn't tightened it down, but Jeff and Josh were awesome.  They took the time to not only replace the outlet but also checked and found cuts in the wires, and then checked the entire breaker box just to make sure all was okay.  Did I mention they showed up at the end of the day after doing dirty renovation work in 95 degree heat?  Much appreciated and I believe I just found my future electrician for the rest of my needs.  Thanks.

I'm a nervous new homeowner with zero idea how electricity works. I was having a problem with a heater not turning on. Jeff came out, was an hour early (he called to confirm that was ok which was much appreciated) and he knew immediately how to fix it. I had a few projects the home inspector suggested and within about two hours, all of them were done. Far exceeded my expectations!! Also, they were able to come out within two days while other places said 2-3 weeks. Very pleased.

I called on a Wednesday and was able to get scheduled on a Friday, and I waived the estimate because I needed to get my work done ASAP. Jeff and Josh came to take out our outdated electrical heaters and replace outlets with tamper-proof ones. I am so impressed with their expert workmanship, their ability to work efficiently as a team, and their courteousness and professionalism. I would definitely recommend Electricians Today and will definitely call them for all my electrical needs!

We called at 9am (our hot water heater throwing a breaker) and scheduled an appointment for between 2pm and 4pm that day. No visit or call. I called and 4:30 and the repair guy had left for the day having performed all his calls. They asked if we could reschedule for another day, leaving us wondering how can they advertise 24/7 service?

We had a simple job: the dryer outlet in our laundry room had the incorrect plug type.  We needed someone to replace the plug.

When I called, they refused to give me an estimate over the phone.  Reasonable as they need to understanding what they are working on prior to actually delivering the service.  However, they failed to mention that there is a very expensive minimum service charge associated with any work they do, regardless of how long it takes them, and how close you live.

The other thing that is sketchy is that  Parker Electric no longer exists.  The company who does the work is someone called Electricians Today.  I guess Parker Electric went out of business and these guys kept the name.

Because we were in a bind and needed to service done, we agreed to have them do the work.  So, while we are satisfied with the work done, I have to give them a low ratings for the lack of up front transparency about the minimum service charge and for overcharging what should have been a 10 minute job.  I won't be using their services again.

The total bill for replacing an outlet was over $200.

These guys were great! Note that the current name is Seattle Electricians Today. We had them do a full rewire of our house and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The guys were very professional, courteous and CLEAN! This was my biggest concern when tackling this project. I feared they would come in, make a mess, and leave. NOT THE CASE at all with these guys.

The price was fair and the add-ons we asked for were easily accomodated.

Give these guys a chance. I woud use them again in a heartbeat.

I had a wiring problem and the technician came to my house - listened carefully on what I really wanted (it just annoys me when contractors come to my house etc and they don't act professional). The technician is actually very nice and professional. I will use them again.

Electricians Today does fantastic work at a very reasonable price! As a contractor, they are my go to electrician that I recommend to all my clients. You will be very pleased with their knowledge and personable attitude. From the office staff to field technicians, they are a class act!

I needed recessed lighting, a sconce in my living room, and a specialty outlet for my giant minilab film scanner and Parker Electric installed everything perfectly. Ross is a great guy, totally genuine and easy to work with. I felt the value was amazing for the price and I will definitely hire Parker Electric for any other electrical projects I need in the future.

How many times have this company changed their name?  

They charge a lot and don't tell you these things over the phone. I feel ripped off.

We have had an easy time scheduling an estimate for our work and have never had to wait too long for the work to be done. Kevin and Jeff are great: knowledgeable and professional. These guys were able to come to the property same day for an estimate and they began work the following day.  This was HUGE since we had a time-sensitive  situation, and all the other electricians I called around to were booked out a week or two.  Their work was high quality, and they went above and beyond in terms of costumer service.  I was so impressed that these guys get the first yelp review I've ever written!
