Our bathroom sink drain was clogged for weeks, we tried everything to unclog it but were unsuccessful ourselves. We found Plumb Pros recommended in our neighborhood facebook group. Bruce put us on his schedule right away and when he came we could tell he was very polite and respectful, easy to talk to, but most importantly, he really knows his stuff. He figured out the problem quickly and was a great teacher, showing us how to maintain the functioning of the drain (how to remove/replace the pop up assembly stopper). He was very fair and honest, and clearly a master of his trade. We are so grateful to him and will definitely be using him for our plumbing needs from now on.

My friend's nail salon had an emergency - the water was draining back into the pedicure chairs, toilet, sink, and an old closed off pipe. I called Bruce and he sent over Kevin within 2 hours, same morning.

Kevin was a professional, gave all good recommendations and completed the work my friend chose - was not pushy and gave clear pros/cons to all options. She leases the space so does not want to invest in the larger project but Kevin was able to fix all leaks and assess the water heater within 2.5 hours. It was a lot faster than we all thought it would take. The price was reasonable as well. I definitely recommend calling these guys especially if there's a problem needing attention soon.

Our washing machine drained onto the basement floor after a successful wash sequence. Unfinished basement and floor drain nearby so no hurry. Searched Yelp by zip code and found these guys with great rating. I called Bruce about three in the afternoon. His scheduling process is flawless. Just send him a text with the address. He gave me a time for the next morning via text and I responded. Kevin came over as scheduled. He proved beyond a doubt that the blockage was in the appliance, not the plumbing. Bruce Melton is god sent! Unmatched expertise  and honest to goodness people with the highest integrity. Call Bruce when you have an issue. Don't think twice! We had a sewer line issue, and lost use of our plumbing entirely. We had called a dozen plumbers to come take a look and had quotes ranging from $20-30k to fix the issue. All seemed to be going after the wrong problem. It just didn't make sense to my me. Then I found Bruce. He came out walked me through a super detailed analysis of what could potentially be happening, and took me on a journey to validate or discard each hypothesis. He found the issue, worked tirelessly to fix it and we've been golden since. He has over 30 years of experience (I think he really has 200yrs plus, to be honest) and will bend over backwards to resolve your issue. Hire him and you won't regret if!

Bruce and Kevin at Plumb Pros are professional and courteous, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs their sewer fixed or needs some plumbing work. We hired them to fix our sewer when we moved into our new home. They did a great job with our sewer, so when we were ready to renovate most of our plumbing systems (move showers, sinks, and one toilet), we knew who to call. It was a big project and they were at our house for over five weeks. The work was completed timely, in a professional manner, and cheaper than other quotes we received. We have continued to use them for all of our plumbing needs, including installing a new sink over the holidays. If you need plumbing work done, give these guys a call and you will not be disappointed!

Every time I have called Bruce @ Plumb Pros--which is 3 times in the past 18 months for very different issues--he has responded quickly, which is kind of not a thing with plumbers.  He's knowledgeable, thoughtful, and helpful.  He's a great plumber and a nice guy.  I cannot recommend Plumb Pros enough!

After gathering 3 bids to replace my water main, picked this company because price was in line with others and I liked their approach to my issue.  Once I was ready to proceed I at first got an affirmative response, but then got none at all after email and voice message follow-ups.  So IMO just another contractor who loves to say yes but hates to say no, instead just flakes and becomes unresponsive when they change their mind. Unfortunately typical, and frustrating.  Extra star though for frustrating me enough to look closer at DIY, which I was able to do completely to code using same tools used by pro plumbers which I rented locally (pipe locator, boring device).  Saved myself over $6,500 with only a couple days worth of my time.  And it turned out part of that approach they impressed me with was disruptive and unnecessary.

Our water heater broke down suddenly and Bruce were able to come and give us a quote the same day for next day replacement. Arrived at exactly the time we agreed on. Excellent communicator. Did a beautiful job. Left the place immaculately clean. Very respectful of COVID concerns - wore a mask inside the house and when talking with me. Straightforward guy - explained everything very well without talking a lot - always a good sign! Will definitely use Plumb Pros again. Thanks!

Best plumbers ever!  I have reviewed them before and have since retired and live in Honolulu.  I still manage Seattle rental properties and can call Bruce and know he will handle the problem with competency, efficiency, and affordability.  People have said this before about Bruce and I agree 100%:   I'd trust him with my life.

I wish I could give Bruce a higher rating. He seems knowledgeable and capable of quarterbacking a wide range of projects. I explained my need for a rough order of magnitude quote on installing new sewer line and that I could meet anytime Mon-Fri 7:00-3:00. Bruce came out and did an initial walk through to determine scope of the project. Bruce set up a follow up appointment with me over the phone, and I had forklifts remove access plates and tape off the perimeter for safety. Bruce failed to show up or reschedule. Over the course of 10 business days I've called several times, left voicemails, sent emails, and text messages: still no reply. Are you still in business?

Bruce at Plumb Pros is our hero!  On a Friday, our side sewer backed up and was sending sludge into our basement.  We called Rapid Rooter who was not able to come out until Saturday morning.  RR looked at the job and told us it was not possible to clean it out - that we would have to hire a company to install a sewer line clean out on the outside of the house - then they would come back and clear the blockage.  This was incredibly upsetting because we could not use toilets or water in the house.

We started calling other plumbers and were referred to Plumb Pros by another plumber.  Bruce came out that afternoon and quickly diagnosed the problem.  He tried three different methods to clear it and didn't give up until it was fully cleared.  And he charged us a VERY reasonable rate to do it.  He's a very honest guy with lots of experience and integrity.  Highly recommended.

Bruce is the absolute best.  He is honest, reliable and really knows his plumbing.  I used him for a major sewer repair several years ago. I had a big company give me an estimate, which was $17,000 just to look at the problem, not to fix it.  Bruce fixed it and saved me thousands. Since then I had him clear out some roots and another time to repair a broken pipe. He's great.

Bruce fixed our toilet in under 30 minutes. He came out that day, arrived on time, and was in and out super quick. I recommend Plumb Pros for the job!

Bruce came to our house recently and we wish we could give him 7 stars...+ 1 star for being the best plumber we've ever met and +1 star for not charging us for what he described as a courtesy call (shows you what I know about plumbing!). When reading reviews before we called him, they almost sounded too good to be true but all were 110% accurate. No joke. As others have said, he is reliable, responsive, HONEST, affordable, and has an unusual calming presence.

He has a lifelong customer in us now and we look forward to working with him again when we replace at least one toilet in our house soon.

So yeah, if you're looking for an exceptional person who is a plumber (and who has many other handy skills as well), stop looking now because you've found him in Bruce.

Being in a big city I always worry about having to get help. Bruce was recommend by another plumber and I'm glad they did because he was great. He made sure to do the job right, was honest and gave me a very fair price. You should have no hesitations calling him if the need arises.

Quick, knowledgable and honest plumber with reasonable prices!! We had a sewer line break in our backyard and were working with another company that helped us figure out what the problem was but never showed up to do the work.  After not having a toilet for a few days and calling dozens of plumbers who were busy, I called Plumb Pros and Bruce was at my house within 15 minutes!!  Even though he had a busy schedule, Bruce didn't want to leave us without sewer another day so he stayed and fixed the issue.  After such great service we'll definitely use Plumb Pros for any future needs.  Thanks Bruce!

Bruce is the best. We had a small side sewer situation turn into a massive situation that required heavy equipment, tearing up a street and replacing the side sewer all the way to the main. Instead of taking on the job himself, he turned us over to a great company (Aces Four) that does the larger jobs and they did it at a price much lower than what Bruce would have had to charge. Highly recommended.

It is true what everyone else writes, Bruce with Plumb Pros is by far, 100% THEY best plumber around. He not only has he been able to help me with my plumbing issues on my bathroom toilet, kitchen sink and on my septic tank but has been able to identify the problem instantly. I knew I had at least one break in my sewer and generally where it was. Bruce Melton of Plumb Pros was recommended. He came out the same day I called, put a camera in the sewer and knew right away the problem was worse than I thought. He couldn't get to my job for a while so he called someone he recommends and works with to ask him to come as soon as possible. I really appreciate his effort to help me get help even though he couldn't do it. He was nice, efficient, and professional. I would recommend Plumb Pros, no question.

It started around Dec 30th when the sewer line backed up into the shower and the toilet wouldn't flush. The owner of Plumbing Pros (Bruce Melton) asked about the problems I was having. I told him we had a different company come snake the lines and tell us we NEEDED a whole new side sewer and that I wanted a quote from him to do the work. He said he couldn't give me a quote without first putting a camera down the lines to asses the situation. The pipe was SO clogged he couldn't get the camera through the pipes. He also noticed there was some clay pipes under the house that were leaking. After he spent about an hour at my house, both on the roof and in the crawl space we came up with a game plan. He would add a clean out, jet the lines, and perhaps it would fix the leak issue under the house if the problem was at the elbow.

We hired him for the following day for the day. As he started digging to expose the pipe, he noticed the pipe under the house was clay! The leaking clay pipe under the house was not a good sign and he informed us we would probably want to replace all the clay pipe UNDER the house if we were going to do work on the side sewer but the choice was ours. We talked about price/options and decided it was worth replacing the clay pipe with PVC to address all issues at once.

After getting the lines clear he scoped the rest of the side sewer (stuff located outside the house) to asses the condition. THE ENTIRE SIDE SEWER WAS NEW and PVC. The problem came from where the new PVC side sewer came underneath the house and connected to clay pipe. This was GREAT news. He also found that we did indeed have a clean-out in the drive way but that it was buried several feet down. He used a locating wand to find where the camera was physically located when it was looking at the clean-out. We could only assume they did this to avoid damage from cars. He said he would remove the price of the clean out from the total he had quoted OR we could add an additional clean out underneath the house. Since we were pleased with his honesty, and his quote, we decided to have him add a second clean out in the crawl space in case it ever clogged again or needed maintenance. This would allow us to have it above ground and not have to worry about damage from our cars, wheelbarrows, etc.

Not only did he do this all in a timely manner, but he took pictures of all the steps so he could show us the work he performed before properly back-filling with gravel/sand/dirt. He saved us a BUNCH of money by not ASSUMING and actual investigating step by step and discussing what he found and our options. I will certainly be a repeat customer for life.

Bruce was fantastic!  He snaked our main sewer line 3 times and made sure to get every last root.  He charged exactly what he quoted and doesn't charge to send the camera down like so many others do.  What he told me was...I have to be able to see what the problem is before I can fix it.  Duh?  I only wish all of the other so called professionals shared this opinion.  

I'm waiting for my quote to get the line repaired, but I'm so thankful that I'm able to run my dishwasher and washing machine tonight!!

Plumb Pro's were the fifth plumbers we called, but they were the first to actually answer the phone and speak to us. After not getting and answer or call back from four other plumbers, it was nice to have someone offer to get out to our house as soon as possible to check out our problem.

Bruce was very polite and professional. He immediately got to work after I showed him around, and proceeded to remove an 8 foot tree root from our sewage pipe. Not knowing what was the cause of our backup, we were worried it could be something even more drastic than the Root of the Year' that Bruce removed for us, which he joked about having to use an old trick he hadn't used in 12 years time to remove the whole thing. He went on to, at a discount, scope the rest of our sewer pipe with the snake camera to investigate if anything else was going on. He assuaged our fears about further damage and gave us a timeframe for future maintenance. All of this came for a very reasonable price, and he was at our door within a half hour of our call.

Great service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Seems like a very honest business.

Bruce has done several major and minor jobs for us over the years and he is a pleasure to work with. He is reliable, responsive, honest and affordable. He makes sure he gets to the root of the problem (literally in our case!) and fixes it correctly. I highly recommend this company.

Last Friday night, my tenant emailed me about a major water flooding problem in the basement of my rental house in North Seattle. My tenant informed me that the hallway was all wet and now the water was leaking into the rooms.    I was not in town and I was worried.  I did not know what the problem was and I was worried about the cost to fix the problem.   I called Bruce on Saturday lunch time and I was so thankful to be able to talk to him directly on the phone.  Even though he had his weekend and his following week fully booked, he was so nice to agree to come and help me on Sunday morning at 8 AM!  He arrived on time on Sunday morning and fixed the basement flooding issue in an hour!  Also, he was very honest about the billing. He was able to diagnose the problem ( I think that it was a blockage issue) very quickly and was reasonable in his billing that he charged me.  I  am so grateful for his help on the weekend within such a short notice!   I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good and honest plumber!

Bruce knows plumbing and he is an honest plumber.  I had a blockage issue and I called Plumb Pros.  Bruce was the one that got back to me.  I am very skeptical of plumbers based on my last experience with Fox Plumbing.  Bruce was able to tell me what he would do over the phone.  Right away he confirmed what I suspected all along when I had Fox come in two years ago for the same problem.  The same blockage issue happened two years ago.  Fox came in and said the clear out access was bolted tight and they would have to access it from the toilet.  They ended up removing the toilet and spent 5 hours on it.  I ended up with a huge bill.   Bruce told me over the phone that he would just cut the cap and easy.  Toilet was not the right way to do this.  Bruce came and did exactly as he said and done in an hour.  Bruce not only cleared the blockage, but he also identified where the problem is and how we can fix it.  I highly recommend Bruce and Plumb Pros.

We recently discovered our water main under the house was leaking badly and found Plumb  Pros here on Yelp after first making the mistake of calling another plumbing outfit, one of those companies who advertises heavily with catchy jingles and mailer coupons. A guy from that first called plumbing company came out same day, was nice enough, and seemed to know what he was talking about but when it came time to give the rate quote he took quite awhile writing down numbers and mumbling to himself, then eventually after finishing what seemed like a very complicated math formula he came up with a price for what he described as a bare minimum emergency fix, a price that seemed well beyond even my worst case imagined scenario...he then proceeded to show me a quote for a much bigger job which he strongly recommended as a longer term solution, to change out the existing water service from the main meter to the house...though admitting there was no evidence of any problem with that, yet...we desperately needed a fix to the running water under the house so we tried putting the amount for the basic quote on 3 different cards but came up short on credit for this charge. We decided we couldn't get it done at that time and he agreed to come back when we had the funds together...not a good feeling for us.

That was the good news....as it forced me to do a little more searching after discovering the numerous positive reviews here for Bruce and company, emphasizing his fairness, honesty, workmanship, and competitive rates, I gave him a call. He answered his phone immediately, even though he was on a job under someone else's house as he described. After discussing our dilemma he assured me that no matter what the issue was his price would be well under the first company's rate, which he described as an outrageous attempt to gouge a typically naive customer. I immediately felt a huge sense of relief just hearing that. Bruce called me back shortly as promised to schedule a next day service, something that was much appreciated going into a holiday weekend.

He arrived on time the following day, and quickly assessed the situation. The diagnosis was not much different than the previous plumber's but his solution was so much simpler and cost effective...at about 1/7th the cost! And the way he explained the cause of the issue I have good reason to believe this solution will hold up just fine. He assured us that if anything else should come up with this he does stand behind his work. And that is priceless:)

Called these guys based on the amazing Yelp reviews on a Saturday morning for a backed up kitchen sink. Had a simple conversation, he said he'd be out between 3-5pm. Awesome! Went on with my day. Received a voice message that was left at 1230pm that he was not going to be able to come because he was up at a job that was going to take all day and that we could figure something out for Sunday morning. I text saying I understand, things come up, and asking what time worked for him Sunday. Nothing. Sunday morning, try again, no response.
The reason this irks me is if he'd been upfront that there was even a chance he couldn't come out on Saturday morning when I first called I'd have moved on and called other outfits. By waiting so many hours by the time he let me know every other plumber open on Saturday was completely full. Then he left me in the lurch on Sunday too. It's Monday and my sink is still stopped up with people coming tomorrow. Needless to say it's been inconvenient.
Just a bummer. I am glad others have had such great luck with them but wanted to share this not-so-rosy story.

Bruce and his entire team rock. Great guys. Incredibly expert, thorough, and considerate. We had a breach in our 100-year-old side sewer and Bruce gave us an estimate based on digging down to the breach, replacing that section, and running liner back to the newer clean-out next to the house. A second company looked at it and said it was nuts to dig down that far out, proposing instead to dig down nearer to the house where the pipe is less deep and then shoot liner out to the breach. Because I preferred Bruce's manner, I called him to discuss this alternative, and he was totally open to it saying, That's interesting, but... Before greenlighting this less expensive approach, Bruce insisted that we clean out the breach area with a hydro jet to get a better view, confirm it was not a wye, and have the liner expert buy off on his ability to make the turn and get through the breach. A day or two later, we were confirmed good to go, and he cut back his cost considerably. The work was completed flawlessly, on schedule and well under his original budget. The crew was personable and thorough and left the site looking better than when they'd first arrived. I'll use Plumb Pros for jobs big and small going forward, and so should you.

I had a great experience with Bruce. He was professorial, arriving when he said he would. His estimate was reasonable for the work I needed. He quickly got the work done. The work was done right. He estimate was dead on and I paid what he estimated. Will use Bruce again and I recommend him to you all.

We recently needed to have our waterline replaced due to persistent leaks. Encouraged by favorable reviews from Yelp, I asked Bruce Melton, the owner, for a quote and he came up with a competitive and reasonable bid compared to other plumbing contractors. I then decided to enter into a contract for his services. And that I believe was one of the best decisions on home maintenance that I have made so far. I had the opportunity to have several face to face discussions with him about matters related to the job and about his combined 30 years of plumbing experience both as an employee of a company and as a business owner. In addition, I had first hand observation of his workmanship since I made sure that I be present during the course of the work. That said, I came up to the conclusion that he is an honest and trustworthy professional who is proud of his work. As he himself has said, his motto has always been to do it right the first time so he will leave a satisfied and happy customer. If I felt impressed overall with him, I suppose so too will his future customers be.

We live in Ballard and have had side sewer problems from the day we moved in. This summer our sewer backed up into our basement again! We called out the local roto rooter to clean out our line, but this time, his cutter was unable to get past a nasty ball of roots that had literally blocked the entire pipe. After running a camera through our line, we had several contractors come by to give us their take on what the best solution would be to repair our line. Bruce Melton, the owner of Plumb Pros, was one the contractors that visited our home. We found Bruce to be extremely informative and personable. He went over what the exact problem was, and gave us several options as to how to go about repairing our line. Although his bid was neither the lowest nor the highest, we decided to go with Plumb Pros. We were not disappointed. We decided to have our entire line replaced using a method called pipe bursting. As the job progressed, Bruce kept us well informed as to what he was finding and how he intended on solving the problems he encountered. In the end, Plumb Pros installed a brand new sewer line for us that the city inspector readily approved upon inspection. I don't foresee us ever having to call another sewer contractor for as long as we own this house, but if we ever moved and had to repair another sewer line, you can bet that Bruce Melton of Plumb Pros would be the first person we would call.
