Had Allied out to get quoted for a project. Had every opportunity to sell me an expensive solution to my drainage issue but instead offered sound advice and saved me thousands. Super knowledgable and honest. Will absolutely be turning to them for all my waterproofing and drainage issues.
Paul and his team did a great job installing two different French drains in our yard. Erin was so responsive and a great contact point for the company. Vlad and his crew were absolute animals!! They did such a great job and only took a day and a half. They also did a great job of cleaning up after and making the seams in the yard as invisible as possible. They were extremely competitive with other bids we received and actually bested the other bids by a long shot. I would highly recommend Allied to everyone I know. Great company, great employees and very affordable.

Reliable, dependable, easy to work with and offered the best price. I had a sewer that needed a liner. The estimate process was easy. I had to coordinate the estimate while out of state. Actual work was done as the owner/estimator had described. Inspection passed with flying colors. Never thought I'd say that I'm happy a sewer liner installation.

I'm very happy with the work that the crew did in my crawl space. Paul provided the estimate, and broke the estimate up into two potential jobs--one crawl space drainage system with sump pump and interior trenches and one a job that I might do in the future that involves diverting down spout water. I appreciated that Paul conducted a thorough review of the problems in my crawl space and walked around the property to get a full understanding of the issues that were causing standing water in my crawl space. It is a 1958 house which had a lot of standing water in the crawl due to an existing DIY sump pump that was not up to code and leaked. Paul's estimate also included a drawing of the system which helped me get a better sense of the scale of the repairs.
The crew did a great job and took 3 days for the extensive work. The crew even fixed an issue that was caused by a totally different worker without me bringing it up--they repaired the screen on the vent to prevent animals from getting into the crawl space.
The work area was also left very clean. Thanks for the hard work and for the repairs!
Allied Waterproofing & drainage came highly recommended by a friend who knew someone who used their services. They installed a French drain in my basement which seemingly took in water from everywhere. The guys worked hard for four consecutive days and did a fantastic job. They even went the extra mile and rerouted the water expelled from the sump pump directly to the sewer line (the previous homeowner had some makeshift inefficient convention going on). I'm happy to report that my basement is dry and my piece of mind is restored.

We recently purchased a new construction home. The home itself was great, but the backyard looked to have drainage issues. Allied Waterproofing was responsive, honest, professional and super knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!
I have worked with Paul on a number of projects, but initially he redid our sewer system. His was the best price, value, and quality of work hands down. I can't recommend them highly enough.
In 2016 my basement flooded after back to back winter rain storms. Paul and Allied Waterproofing gave me a competitive bid to put in a perimeter drainage system which allowed water to go around the basement, not through it. The work was quick and efficient and the system worked flawlessly for years. This past winter we again got back to back storms which caused some water to seep into one corner where a water stopping membrane had been cut too short by carpet installers. Paul and his team once again came out swiftly and addressed the issue without fuss. I would highly recommend Allied for any similar projects.

Our basement flooded due to a formerly, incorrectly installed window well drain. Called Allied, who quickly inspected the problem, offered a number of options and gave me an estimate for my choice of options. Work crew showed up as scheduled, were very polite, explained what they were doing, and asked questions as necessary. They were quick and efficient plus re-landscaped and cleaned up yard to better condition than when they started. They demonstrated and tested the system to show me it was working and asked if I had any questions.
Invoice matched the estimate...but the work timeliness and quality FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.
Great company, would highly recommend them!
Agree with previous clients - never been so happy to part with my money. From the start, Paul was incredibly responsive, their office team was timely and communicative about scheduling...and when their team showed up on site, they had on masks and clearly had a defined covid protocol to keep themselves and their clients safe. The team quickly completed the work, explained in laymen's terms what was going on and cleaned up meticulously. I'd highly recommend Allied and will be calling them again when we work on the south side of our house. Couldn't be happier with the entire experience.
Allied waterproofing ( Paul) stopped by to give us a quote and assessment for water in our basement. We had lots of water coming in , continuously over the last few months even with dry weather and no rain. We got quotes from other vendors, used a leak consultant to ensure it was not our pipes. Paul looked at the issue, listened to us and asked us to check our air conditioning unit. Though there was water seeping into the entire room- he shared that he has seen this happen before and we should check that anyways to make sure, though he would give us a quote anyways. What a lifesaver, it did turn out to be a leaking tube at the back of the air conditioning unit/ furnace where the water was traveling along the seam of the wall/ floor and coming into the room at a different point. He saved us a lot of money as the fix was $300 versus a major waterproofing effort for that part of the room. Love the integrity of this business. They get booked up very fast- we waited a month for an appointment- worth it.
Both Paul and the staff were responsive, thorough, and clearly communicated every aspect of the job from start to finish. Great people to work with. Also, they all closely followed good COVID protocols. I highly recommend them .

Can we give them six stars? Allied Waterproofing and Drainage is tremendous. We had two vendors give us estimates on resolving a gutter drainage situation. The first vendor proposed a solution that would have torn up our entire basement and cost about $17,000. Allied came out and the gentleman immediately grasped that the solution to the situation only required re-directing some gutter drainage. He showed us how he could easily re-route the water to a safe place in one of our gardens with a minimum of digging and disruption. His proposal was under $3,000. We hired them. When their crew showed up, they figured out an ever better way to route the water than we had considered, so as to hide the pipes. Once done, they then put everything back the way it had been, even re-installing dirt we had dug out of a flower bed. By the time they were finished, I couldn't tell where they had dug, as they were able to put the topping gravel back so it looked like nothing had ever happened. I still can't figure out how they did it. The whole job was done in one day and their clean-up was superb. I would hire them again without hesitation. Super-highly recommended.
I live in an old 1919 Craftsman that has been plagued with water issues since I bought it in 2003. I had a sump pump installed 3 years ago, but alas, the immense amount of rain we had at the end of Dec. '19 was too much, and the hydrostatic pressure was such that the water just pressed through the foundation.
Allied was the first company to answer my email (within a day), and Paul was able to work around my inconsistent schedule and got a site visit scheduled within a week, which was quite impressive considering the amount of flooding in the region.
Paul was prompt, courteous, and matter-of-fact with his assessment and estimate, and immediately recommended doing less than what I had originally envisioned in order to save me some money. I opted to go with the full interior French Drain as well as a gutter redo anyways, and my estimate was well below what I had thought it was going to be.
Truth be told, they had to push their start date back due to aforementioned regional flooding and my work schedule, but that was not their fault at all. Once a new start date was settled on, his workers arrived early, had great communication, and were, in a word, AMAZING.
They finished ahead of schedule. Clean-up and worksite cleanliness was impeccable. They went above and beyond and even corrected some mistakes with my sump pump that the previous installer had made, replaced the turf they cut and dug up to tie my gutter lines together, and left the entire area spotless.
I only wish that I had known they were going to finish early so I could have been home to give the crew a tip in person, they were simply amazing. If I ever have any water issues again (unlikely), I would not hesitate to use Allied again. They are fantastic.

A professional and hard-working team who did a thorough job. Upon checking their own work, they also found another issue unknown to us that is simple to solve but was off of our radar. Would recommend!

I contacted Allied Waterproofing and Drainage on a Monday afternoon for a quote to fix my french drain and they were able to send someone out the very next morning to take a look at the drainage problem in my backyard. I explained to Paul, the person they sent out to take a look at the problem, the work I had already done and he quickly suggested a fix. The fix involved a lot of shoveling, but less work than I had anticipated. Paul still sent me the quote I requested, but after hearing his advice, I decided to address the problem myself. I really appreciate how prompt, honest and straight-forward the company was when I asked for help. I would definitely recommend contacting them if you have drainage problems!
Allied came out again to finish waterproofing our basement. We did have a couple leaks where they didn't work originally. The second time they were great as the first time, the guys still took away some extra concrete debris of ours. I recommend these folks! If you want honest, hardworking people to fix your drainage issues, these are the people to go to. I appreciated the cautious approach, buf we have been totally dry!
After meeting with about 6 other plumbing businesses, I went with Allied for a channel drain installation outside our garage door. Paul came out a few times, answered all of my questions, was prompt with emails and phone calls, and offered a very competitive bid. The work was top notch, with one minor issue of slope - which turns out was not in scope of our project (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) - that they will be fixing soon. Very pleased with the work, friendliness, and professionalism. If you need any sewer work done, this is the place to go with!
These guys replaced our 100plus year old sewer, I can't say enough about them. They were hardworking, super nice, and did a wonderful job
I highly recommend them.
This company absolutely amazes me. I have water coming under my foundation. Amongst many other issues. Paul(the owner) came out probably 10 times over the course of a few months presenting my with options at zero pressure. Turned out I needed all my curregated downspout pipes replaced. I can't thank Paul enough for his patience. This is unheard of in Seattle. I had every drainage company out in the area. By far Pauls customer service and transparency are superior. And prices are fair. I will only trust my drainage to allied from here on out. The team that came worked hard and fast and cleaned up everything. There were areas I wanted dug by hand which they did no complaints. Amazing company.
I was impressed with the straight forward, educational bidding process. Paul was very knowledgable and the price was fair.
Project started and finished on time. The crew was extremely conscientious around the house. They protected my floors and furniture and left the place looking better than when they started. They were efficient and each day I was impressed with the amount of work they got done. The workmanship is top notch.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company!
Hands down, the best experience I've ever had with a contractor - can't recommend them enough.
Paul and team at Allied Waterproofing put in a new sewer liner for our house. Things that made my experience great:
1) Professionalism: Paul, our Estimator, was incredibly responsive. He quickly provided a quote for the work that provided a very detailed explanation of the work that was needed. Other contractors just gave me a number (no details). Paul also replied to my questions via e-mail quickly and thoroughly.
2) Cost: Paul's bid came in at 30% less / thousands of dollars lower than bids I received from other larger plumbing shops. I was worried that the lower price point might mean low quality work but other online reviews reported fantastic work so we chose to move forward. I'm extremely happy we did as...
3) Quality of work: Most important of all, they got the job done right and their attention to detail was excellent. They got the new sewer liner in quickly and with minimal disruptions at our house. When the team found an unexpected break in our sewer line, they dug right in and replaced the broken piece of pipe instead of leaving the problem to fix later. Despite having to dig several large holes in our yard, they restored everything perfectly - I literally think our yard looks better now than when they started.
In all, if you need sewer / drainage work, go with these guys. Very professional, great price, great work.
We asked for a crawl space inspection to address our concern about sagging insulation. They were very prompt scheduling, coming in on time, and being very honest to tell us that we don't need any repair beyond just stapling some cardboard back to the vent window top. Having dealt with a lot of contractors lately, this is a breath of fresh air!
I have never been so happy to part with my money. No, seriously.
We've had some basement water intrusion issues. When I first had Paul out, he was very conservative and gave me some (free) practical solutions for things I might try before a more costly solution. Other folks who came out to bid gave me wildly different suggestions that now, in hindsight, if I went with I would not have solved the problem. Instead, Paul suggested I try those things and then wait to make sure the problem was what we thought it was. I'm so glad I followed his guidance. That period allowed us to really understand what was happening. When it became clear I needed more help, he came out not once but twice more when I needed extra assurance and a second look at his bids. He bid significantly lower than the other contractors who came out. Beyond that, he was kind and professional and I knew he was the right guy for the job.
When it came to the actual work, Paul and his crew were on time, professional, and finished the job in less time than quoted. The finish work was immaculate and the crew cleaned up after themselves -- not just when the job was done but also each night. In the end, we have a foundation footing drain and a that room is now perfectly dry.
Every time we hear the sump pump working (which we only hear if we're outside and standing next to it), my husband look at each other and say... we love that sound! So much better than a flooded basement.
I recently has another (unrelated) ground water issue and emailed Paul at midnight on a Sunday night. His response was to my inbox at 7 AM the next day and he's prioritized coming out to take a look at this separate problem. I am so grateful for Paul and his team and couldn't recommend them higher to anyone needing work done!

I selected Allied Waterproofing and Drainage from several companies that submitted bids for our job (lining our 60-year old sewer connection). Paul gave us the most competitive bid and the background research showed them to be a very reliable company.
Paul provided reminders of the upcoming day when the work would be started and they started when they said they would. The work included a fairly deep excavation in our front yard but things progressed steadily and it was completed within a few days. The landscaping, driveway, and rockery were returned to as-before conditions with an additional cleanout added for future access.
Overall, I was very pleased with the work of Paul and his crew and would highly recommend them for your jobs.

I had an estimate done by Bodine to install drainage in my crawlspace and the price was out of this world for a 900 square foot house. Paul came out and bid the project at half the cost and provided the time when they could complete the project. They were on time and did an excellent job at finishing the crawl space and making the yard look like they we're never there (for drainpipe to curb).
I'd definitely recommend, timely, fair bid, and clean work.
I worked with Paul. Assume it is the same company but I do not think they are based out of seattle.
Paul and his crew were great.
Reasonable quote, they fit me on the schedule in a reasonable amount of time, job was done as they described, faster than they predicted, cleaned up afterwards, and no surprise costs at the end.
Best, yet, I write this review a year after the work and my basement has been dry through the winter.

Paul came out to give us a bid for a french drain and sump pump for our basement and garage. We ended up going with a different company due to the price being just a little lower, and the start date was sooner. However, I just wanted to share that I had a great experience with this company. Very professional and honest with good prices. The scheduling was handled great via phone and email (compared to another company that didn't even show up or call), and Paul showed up on time. Early even, which was great for me. He had great ideas and solutions for all of our drainage issues, including things we'll need to do in the future. He was honest about what we should do, and what would be a waste of money. And the price for the job was fair and competitive.

Not only was Allied responsive but also accurately and efficiently replaced our entire waterline from the water meter to our house. The water line ran under trees, foliage, and a small flower garden. Because it was between neighboring driveways, they were very conscientious on not impacting neither us or our neighbors. Once completed it was not apparent significant underground work was done. They cleaned up and put every plant back in place. It was a work of art! All work was completed on time and within budget.
I recently sold a home in Seattle. Like many homes in the Green Lake neighborhood, it was built in the 20's. We found out the hard way that there are a lot of issues with the old sewer lines. When our buyers scoped the sewer line some significant damage was discovered so we had no choice but to repair it to make the sale go through. I did my due diligence. I received four bids from all the most notable sewer repair companies in the area.
Not only was Paul's quote literally THOUSANDS lower than the other three, it was by far the most professional experience I had. The others ranged from handing me a business card with an estimated cost scribbled on the back to verbal quotes. I felt like I was being taken for a ride with the others and I now understand why plumbing a sewer repair companies can have bad reputations. I felt like I invited three used car salesmen into my home to fix my sewer! It was pretty clear to me that once the other companies started the work they were going to begin tacking on additional repair costs because they made no commitment to the final total.
Paul was upfront from the beginning about what the damage was and exactly how he'd repair it, which was really refreshing. He replaced our entire sewer line that ran under a sidewalk and a retaining wall with landscaping as well as our driveway. If you saw it now you'd never know anything ever happened. His crew was professional, courteous, and punctual. I'd recommend them to anyone in need of a repair.
the estimator Paul was so professional and impressive, I really wanted to hire them but just cannot afford the price right now, wish I have more money!
Paul's estimate was very detailed and thorough, he listens to clients needs and addresses clients concerns, I am sure their work has high standard too, if money is not a concern I would definitely choose Paul's proposal

I have just finished my project and was very happy with how everything played out.
It took a while to get Paul to come out (I called during mansoon season, so everyone had a leaky basement), but once he showed up his estimate was lower than 2 other contractors.
I had to reschedule my project 2 times, because of some family issues and every time Paul was veru flexible and patient.
Project completed ahead of schedule, which is unheard of (I have been dealing with contractors for a while now, so I know from expirience)
Overall I am very happy with the result, hiring Allied was a right choice for me.
Paul & his crew at Allied have done a great job with waterproofing and drainage in and around our 100 year old home. We are very happy with the work (which is guaranteed) and found the cost to be competitive and fair. I will continue to recommend Allied Waterproofing to anyone that has drainage and water issues.
Paul came out and took a look at my problem (basement flooding with the heavy rains) the day after I called the office. He seemed incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and ready to help. At the end of our meeting he suggested that a relatively cheap do-it-yourself fix would probably solve the problem and he would be on standby in case he was wrong. He didn't even charge me for his time. I will absolutely turn back to Allied if I need any help and couldn't be happier with this company.
Paul did a great job with explaining his cost and process for fixing the water issues under my house. We scheduled a day to scope out the problem and his guys found the issue in less than 30 minutes. I would recommend these guys for any water issues that compromises your house investment.
