We've been having electrical problems the past several years and finally decided to fix those issues. As You Wish Electric wrote up a thorough estimate and although they were more expensive than the competitors, I like that they had a service guarantee (plus more) and interest free financing.

The crew that came were nice and courteous and patiently answered my questions and cleaned up after themselves. Technician Ed Grass came to fix some issues so we could pass the electrical inspection and also fixed some last minute issues. I pestered him with a bunch of questions while he worked and Ed was very kind and answered my questions thoroughly. I was also pleasantly surprised that the total cost was actually less than the estimate. I would highly recommend the company and crew!

Andy, Adam, and Devin were quick, friendly, and super responsive in getting a meter box repair done.

They diagnosed the initial issue we had with it quickly and repaired it with what seems like to be minimal breaks - starting as early as 8:30 AM and ending at 2 PM where they finished and said they would be heading to lunch after.

We used As You Wish to upgrade or service, panel, and replace all knob and tube wiring. I couldn't recommend them more.
I had a lot to learn about the scope of the project and from sales with Aaron, to install led by Luis, the team was patient and informative. Luis is an awesome team leader and mentor to his crew. Luis, Kaleb and Alejandro were all professional, efficient, and fun to have in the house. They are committed to doing their work the right way the first time but you can still tell they enjoy their job and working together. Highly Highly recommend.

Bait and Switch Experts. Requested a quote from As You Wish, had them come out and do a full walkthrough of the house. They checked everything electrical in the house.

Received a quote and stated we wanted to proceed.
After confirming a few items on the quote I was told I wasn't properly quoted and they missed items.

The As You Wish team came back out and re-quoted and stated that this never happens, but the original quote was incorrect and missing items and they will need to resend new a quote. (I have heard from others that received quotes that in fact this happens often with As You Wish)

Received a new quote and it was much higher priced then the original and didn't even get a courtesy email or apology about the issue, all I received was an automated emailed quote no other communication.

NEVER AGAIN. Unreasonable and excessive prices, $500, to remove a light fixture and replace another provided by me in the same place, WITHOUT SITE MODIFICATION. initially one person showed up, followed a few minutes later by an apprentice, and it took about 20 minutes to do a one man job. I wish I'd never called.

I'm attaching an update here as they came back out and did pay for the work the previous electrician did.

In addition, they also replaced our panel as they updated it about 3-4 years ago before surge protection was part of the standard build. We haven't been billed yet but I thought I should be fair since they did come out and remedied the shoddy work that was done initially. Hopefully there are no more issues going forward.

A heart felt thanks and much gratitude to the people at As You Wish. We had an major electrical problem feom a power surge, blowing out completely our panel, aeveral outlets, a thermostat and starting a fire. Thanks to Aaron, Adam, Corbin, Casey and Vince for there kindness, caring, expertise and hard work we now have a new panel, mast, grounds and bonding system. Done carefully, quickly, when they said they'd do it and a great end product.

I had a great end to end experience with As You Wish. Joel estimated the job for me and then Ed and Rob did the install work. The level of service was top quality. Excellent communication throughout the process. I am very happy with the quality of the work. Based on another estimate for the same work, their prices were competitive.

I'm blessed to have met Vernon, and Nick they both came out to wire me a new light switch and wired my 3 recessed lights for our newly built covered patio. Also the company took care of the permitting process which made it seemless and streamline. This is a top TOP notch electrical company. Yes, they may be a little pricier than other places, but you know they're getting the job done right, they're not cutting corners, and they guarantee their work. There are SO many companies and choices out there, so you can imagine my relief when I found my go-to electric company. We have had As You Wish out for several jobs and they have all been great, but this last service really cemented them as the best in my mind. Luis and Alejandro came out to install a car charging outlet for us. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly. I didn't have the wall connecter at the house the day of the initial install, but they came out and installed the line. When I received the connector, they made a second trip out to install it. They were thorough, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend!!!

Needed an estimate to change the stove outlet from 120v to 240v. As You Wish came up with an estimate that turned out to be 6x higher than the other 2 companies we contacted.
They also listed needing a city permit and opening drywall, but of course no recommendation for repairing the drywall.

Do your research and get additional bids, otherwise you will be paying for their next TV commercial...

I've used As You Wish Electric on two occasions now and they were great both times. This first time was to rewire my house to current standards. The technicians were friendly and professional throughout the days they were here. Always felt comfortable around them and were easy to talk to. Second time was to replace an electrical box that the gardener damaged. They made quick work of it. Would easily recommend them and use them again in the future.

Requested estimate on a lighting repair and smoke detectors to be replace was quoted outlandish pricing and then was told he could just replace the electrical box for a mirror $7000.-$6,000. which did not have any issues. Bat n' switch is about right!!! Would NOT recommend ever!!!

Vernon and Ed just completed a diagnostic on my electrical system. I have been having some appliance issues, especially with my microwave that wouldn't stop heating until I turned breaker to the off position. When they took the entire cover off of my breaker box, it was full of blown-in insulation. Could have caused a fire. They checked all the outlets and found about several were full of insulation also. These gentlemen were thorough - even checked out the bathroom fan. When Vernon and Ed were finished, I felt safe. Also, they cleaned up the insulation. What a great team!

Francisco and Devin were fantastic! We have had garbage service from previous electrician as they came 3x for same issue without any resolution. Francisco and Devin came, was able to find a blown breaker that was partially charred from burn so was a fire risk and replaced. Previous company never even looked.

WAY OVERPRICED! I had a bedside table light that is hardwired in and doesn't work. I think he was here for 30 min--- charged me $300+ for the service call. Told me it's just not a functioning light and nothing to do but replace it. Very nice guy but still feel like that's way over the top to be told a light doesn't work. In addition, I asked for a BID for an outdoor garage light and it was over $2000K for the bid. No thank you!

I called them needing to have a failed breaker replaced and they tried to gouge me and replace two other breakers along with the failed one. He said the wrong breakers has been installed.. Well the entire house had been rewired and I had a new panel put in.. The City Inspector passed everything including the supposedly wrong breakers. I asked what it would cost to replace the one breaker and he told me 5 to 6 hundred dollars.. I burst out laughing thinking he was joking. Well he wasn't joking but this company is a bad joke.

As You Wish Electric was a pleasure to work with. From my first call with Madison, to our estimator (Shane), to the crew doing our rewire (Dave, Mark, Kaleb), the process has been smooth. They did a great job at preparing us for what a rewire entails and had great communication throughout the process, including daily text reminders and status of when they would arrive. Their estimate was competitive and their service outstanding. The rewire went smoothly and they did a great job doing the work while we were in the house. We are thankful that the knob and tube wiring is removed and for the small perks of a few new outlets and lights. Would highly recommend As You Wish.

Kudos to As You Wish Electric! I had three bathroom ceiling vent fans installed by Francisco and Vernon, they were professional, efficient, quick, quiet and extremely clean. Not only are they good, they really enjoy their work and working together - can't beat that combination. The truth be known, my bathrooms were cleaner after they finished than before they started. These guys really take pride in their work - and it shows!

As You Wish was recommended by a painting company we really like and use frequently. It was a great recommendation. As You Wish did several repairs and installations on or house in one day. They were able to book us very quickly so we could use our kitchen. They did professional work, explaining everything to us in a way that even I could almost understand. My wife and I lost power after an ice storm and were running on a generator for 2 days trying to get things sorted with the electric company. A tree branch had fallen on the power lines from the weight of the ice and caused the neutral to be ripped out of the main power panel and it filled with water from rain. I got Dan's number from a friend and told him what happened and he rearranged his schedule and came out that same day to inspect everything. He was very friendly, explained what needed to be done and why, and was upfront about costs and everything. As You Wish Electric sent out two electricians early the very next day, Vernon and Nick. They were told it was going to be a 2-day job, but after seeing the situation and hearing that we were living without power, they decided to push to get it done in 1 day. They were both very friendly, told me about more water damage they found after pulling the main panel out, and even explained the updates they were doing that were required by new city codes that hadn't been done previously. All in all, I was expecting another 2-3 days at least without power when I first called As You Wish Electric, but the whole company worked very fast to get our lights and heat back on and we are super grateful! We now have an upgraded panel with some more safety features added that is set up to try to prevent the same thing from happening again. Our neighbors had some water damage as well and came out to talk to them and they were back the next day to inspect everything and had them all fixed up the day after that! The whole team's professionalism, responsiveness, and quick work was exceptional! The office staff has also been very helpful with all my questions and requests for information while dealing with my insurance company!

This is my second excellent experience with As you wish Electric, today we had Vernon and Jake come out to replace our kitchen lighting with a ceiling fan. These two were efficient and took us through our options in detail. Their knowledge and professionalism is what will keep us returning customers. They care about quality of work, there was a small gap between the fan being flush with the ceiling and they offered to get into our attic and pull the box up to make the seal completely flush. It looks perfect and works great. Thank you for the extra dedication- we will be coming back to As you wish for all our future electricity needs!

One of my wall units turned on after a power a small power outage, and I couldn't get it to turn off! I called As You Wish Electric and they scheduled an appointment for the next morning.
A little while later a gal at the office called and they'd had an opening for same day. Francisco Mendoza arrived within the window I was given was able to diagnose and resolve the issue within minutes of his arrival.

Jason and Brennen were outstanding. They worked very hard in a few sticky situations with our old house. They cleaned up after each day and were excellent at explaining things as they went along, with a wrap up tour of all the changes. Jason, especially, went miles above and beyond, to make sure everything was right. Both Jason and Brennen were courteous and very friendly. The text reminders they sent that they were coming were helpful and included their photos. I can recommend them highly!

Less than 2 years later, the 3rd led recessed light has stopped working.

The first time they said it was a manufacturer defect, which is weird considering I had over 20 of these installed....

But now that the third light is out, is this really a manufacturer defect or As You Wish installation error?

These lights have good reviews and are led and should last a lot longer than it currently is.

Glad to know that this is what I get for spending $16,000 in electrician with As You Wish.

Company doesn't want to make things right or take responsibility, ever.

Hi As You Wish Electric. Your people worked on my house March 16th. In the last two months I've had two other electric companies also work at the house. When Francisco arrived and did something know of the others did. He fixed it. Francisco was looking in places the other companies didn't even look at. He got under the house and did some cleanup on the junction boxes and determined rodents were some of the issues. Chewing on wire. He also explained about the terminal cabinet issues. They (shout out to Robert ) went all around the outside of the house testing pesky ancient outdoor lights. Long story short - Francisco was one of the best most professional electricians I've met (and I'm old so credible). He is a great representative for your company. Regards, Lawrence

I can't say enough good things about these kind people. During this pandemic it's been difficult to get anyone to come out. When they do come out, it's not uncommon to never get a bid. But these guys gave me a bid, put me on the schedule, did the work without incident, they were super nice, they actually wore masks, they worked quickly and that was that! Installed a new panel and service to a new outlet. It is so hard to get anyone to do any work right now and I just really appreciate these guys being professional and willing to work when so many others will not even return your call. Don't hesitate to call these people. They were terrific!

We have a 1906 Craftsman house, complete with some remaining knob and tube wiring. As You Wish did an excellent job removing and rewiring all the knob and tube, updating our electrical box, replacing switches and outlets, and adding some new fixtures. As You Wish was amazing to work with from start to finish, from a thorough estimate by Dan, to adjusting the scope of work to our budget, to clear communication throughout. Luis and his stellar team of electricians (Devon and Caleb) were phenomenal. They were spot on time every morning, courteous and accommodating, checking in with us throughout for our feedback and preferences. Every request was answered with, You got it! The team worked super hard to finish our large project in three days. They certainly lived up to the name of the company, As You Wish Electric. I have already recommended them to two of my neighbors and would to anyone else.

Rude and unprofessional. Changed the person showing up to the Point where two technicians ended up showing up at the same time. Was extremely rude to my 66 year old mother. TheTruck broke down in front of her house.
Then charged her $800 for changing a few outlets. Ridiculous. Don't waste your time

The manager contacted us, to apologize. And are going to b having a discussion with their rude employee. And refunded $200. This doesn't change anything that happened. But it did make me feel a little better about the whole situation.

As You Wish Electric is top notch! Francisco and his team just replaced my electric panel and activated a new attic fan. They could not have been nicer and were extremely responsive. They coordinated with the roofer that installed the fan (and left very few instructions) and the solar company that is in the process of installing solar panels at my home. Chris and Cameron did an awesome job rewiring our house and converting it from old knob and tube. They were professional and efficient, and didn't leave any stone unturned. The bid was fair and competitive compared to other bids we received. We lived in the house over the course of the days they did the work, and they left us with power at night, minimized the mess, made sure not to let our cats out, and kept in good communication with updates and decision points. The inspector came the last day and said the work was well done.

As You Wish is like a very big dance venue, but for electricity. Hold on while I explain.

I used to do a lot of partner dancing, back in my younger days. There are two types of dance venues: large and packed, small and intimate. At the larger venues, you always know there will be nice people available to dance with, but some of the people won't be very good at dancing. At the smaller venues, the space is cozy, but you can't always count on people to show up to dance at all.

I called SO MANY electricians to replace our 60s era electrical panel, which is known to cause catastrophic failure (aka: burning down the whole damn house). Many of the smaller companies seemed nice. Cozy. But nobody was available to work on our project until two months in the future. Boo. Remember when I said catastrophic failure?

As You Wish was available the same week because they have tons of employees, and someone is always at the ready. They're available 24 hours! I mean, they're like the Kwik-E-Mart of electricians! That said, sometimes, when you go to a really big dance venue, you're going to get the guy who can't remember the steps and falls down when he spins. I feel like we were sent a fairly knowledgeable person. But, he was no Derek Hough of electricians, if you know what I mean. Maybe like a solid high school play backup dancer.

Four stars for getting it done, and for having Derek Hough on staff, even if you didn't send him to our house.

Do not use As You Wish under any circumstances. Their prices are astronomical for work that is unprofessional and does not work. We had to pay another electrician to come in and fix everything that was done by As You Wish and had to pay As You Wish an insane amount of money for their poor quality work. They wired things improperly - left part of the house without power (and didn't come back to fix it until the next day) and the things they did wire did not work properly and kept shorting out. Please save yourself from this experience and hire someone else.

We installed a small wine cellar during a remodel of our 1927 Tudor Home in 2015. The Seattle wine cellar company, which helped us design and install the wine cellar, outsourced their installations, and their work was not good. Five total code violations! Paco originally came out and diagnosed the issues and had to come back in order to actually resolve them. When he returned, he brought Vernon with him. They were great! Courteous, very focused on doing the job the right way, respectful of our home and thorough. I sincerely appreciate their professionalism and expertise. Highly recommend As You Wish Electric, as this is the third time I have had a need for their services and they have been excellent for us.

Needed an electrician to come out to inspect the electrical work in a house I am purchasing (in Seattle) in need of knob and tube wiring upgrade. They would not even come out to give a quote. As an Architectural Engineer I deal with contractors on a day-to-day basis and this is definitely a RED FLAG. Does not make sense, they have effectively lost a costumer. My guess is they only want to put in time with a for sure deal. Greed gets the best of us, I guess. Two RECENT reviews on here said their pricing can get sketchy. I would be weary!

After our Level-2 EV Charging Station arrived on Tuesday, March 31st I soon discovered that its NEMA 6-50 plug would not match the specified outlet we had asked to be installed by AYWE the previous week for $1,786. So we had to have the electrician come back and replace the erroneously installed NEMA 14-50 outlet with the correct plug at no additional charge.

During this second visit on April 3rd a different electrician observed that our main electrical box needed work and quoted $969 to install a whole home surge protector at the main electrical panel along with extensive rewiring, which we declined.

On relating this experience to an electrical inspector for unrelated work today, the inspector stated that there is nothing wrong with our panel as implied by the AYWE electrician.

UPDATE: Manager Scott reached out to me on July 20th and recognized some learning opportunities to improve service. Other than the wrong outlet installed in the first visit and the misleading representation of the quote in the second visit by a new employee, all customer-facing interactions from initial phone contact to site visit were otherwise professional, so between that and Scott reaching out I'm changing my review to four stars.

Oh, how I regret the day I called As You Wish. Calling As You Wish has turned out to be an 11 THOUSAND DOLLAR MISTAKE. It seemed like a simple job. Move a light switch, and install 2 new outlets. Nothing complicated. My partner, who knows enough about electrical engineering to know not to DIY, was here the whole time. He says that the journeyman let the apprentice do it, and he could hear the journeyman getting upset at the apprentice for doing things wrong the entire time. I got home that day, and, while I had 2 shiny, new, working outlets, SUDDENLY *the lights in my office and the master bedroom didn't work.*
We did the reasonable thing, and called As You Wish and asked them to come back out and fix it. Surely it was just a loose connection that could be easily fixed, right? Well...the journeyman came back out and didn't even bother to go into the bathroom or check the work, he just tried to sell us on replacing the entire panel, and rewiring everything. Why don't you hire us to do that? We turned down that oh-so-enticing offer. (SCAM ANYONE?)
We called back As You Wish again. We again asked them to send someone competent to fix what they broke. They sent back a master electrician that, sure enough, found that loose wire in the new bathroom outlet and fixed it. Hooray! working lights! Right?
Not exactly. We have now discovered that whenever we turn on the lights on the stairs, it trips the breaker. This shuts off the lights in the kitchen, family room, and downstairs bedrooms. THEY'RE NOT EVEN ALL ON THE SAME DAMN CIRCUIT. So my OH goes out to the panel, and lo! They have installed a new circuit with a new breaker. Surprise! None of this ham fisted installation is going to pass inspection. I suspect that they know this, which is why they haven't scheduled an inspection yet, like they are supposed to do.
We actually had a different company come out to get a quote on *fixing the damage that As You Wish did*, because I trust them as far as I can throw them at this point, and it's going to be at least 11K. Yup. 11 THOUSAND DOLLAR MISTAKE.
SO. NOT. HAPPY.
Do yourself a favor and learn from my example. HIRE SOMEONE ELSE.

Have had them come out twice to work for our house and both experiences were good. Found them through Greenwood Heating and Air-conditioning which replaced an old heat pump for us as well.

First project was an assortment of jobs to replace kitchen track lighting fixture with can lights, move some outlets, run a new circuit for a new electric range to meet updated code, change some bedroom lights out and replace a bathroom fan/light. Everyone was on time and the work took about 1.5 days total. Our 1940s Seattle house is full of surprises and they had to go out and get a new drill bit to cut the can lights through our plaster over sheetrock ceilings, but ended up cutting nice clean holes. The LED fixtures they put in the cans buzzed (apparently LEDs off do not play well with dimmers), but they agreed to come back the next day and swapped out the LEDs with a different model that work fine with no buzz. We had to call and point out the issue to the technician, since you could only hear the buzz when the house was pretty quite, and I got nervous we'd have to get into a big fight to get it fixed since the buzzing wasn't like horribly loud, but thankfully there was no real fuss required by us, they just made it right.

Second project was to move the wire for the range hood when we got around to replacing that (didn't realize it was wired on the wrong side on our 1960s old fan when we had them out the first time, our bad - note range fans are ALL wired on the right side now). Probably not always the case, but they were able to come out the next day and do the work. Again, they showed up on time and did the work in a quick and clean manner.

Have been working with a lot of contractors as we update our house and they've been far and away one of the best to work with.

We had an emergency electrical issue and As You Wish was the only place I found to come out that day. They gave an on-site estimate and were able to schedule us a few days later. We were so grateful. The estimator told us there was a small chance additional work was needed but was hopeful that wasn't the case and didn't give an estimate for the additional work. When the crew came out to do the work, they told us, in fact, that additional work was needed and it almost doubled the price. We were never given a truly satisfactory reason why. The crew did a horrible job at wearing masks while they were doing the work. Our main contact had an ill fitting mask that he clearly only put on to talk with us. We did not pass inspection the first time around and I was told that the City got them in a technicality which signaled to me that the crew cut corners. They had to come back for 6 hours another day to fix their mistake. The new labeling on the electrical panel we were left is riddled with errors--they seemed to just copy all the text from the old one, including what had been crossed off over the years. I was expecting they would go through the house to check what each breaker was connected to (the estimator suggested the would), but they did not. During this work, I also called the office to see if they could convert some non-GFCI outlets to GFCI. They wanted $89 to come out to give an estimate for this work. I found a different company to give a free estimate and had a great experience with them. Given our experience, I will never call As You Wish again or recommend them to friends.

I just had this company do a bunch of electrical work on our home including: a new electrical panel, surge protector, preparation for ductless heat pump installation and connection, re-wiring and installation of new circuits to our kitchen and removal of old baseboard heaters and re-installation of new cadet heaters and a toe kick heater in our bathroom.

Throughout the entire process Scott and Joel were complete professionals. They were always prompt in replying to my many emails over the last 2 weeks. They were kind and patient to my wife and daughter despite their interruptions, and were careful to keep the house as clean as possible during their work and cleaned up afterward nicely. Everything was done on time, very professionally and it all works perfectly. They even coordinated the electrical inspector for us. Awesome experience all around, thanks guys!

I needed a few outlets in my condo upgraded from single gang (2 plug) into double gang (4 plug), an outlet split to create an additional outlet on the opposite side of the wall, and a tv cable jack relocated to the opposite side of the wall. After reading YELP, I decided to go with As You Wish Eclectic. I have used Kemly Electric and Mirsky Electric previously, but they always end up way over budget for the work! So gave As You Wish a try....

I sent them an email and received a phone call minutes later to schedule! I was pleased to hear that they would be coming by in two days for the quote process. It typically can take weeks to get a quote done in Seattle with our residential electrician choices.

Cory and Chris came mid-week to give me a free quote. They use a company truck that is well marked. The quote said it would be about $475. However, they would have to return at the end of the week to perform the work as the parts would have to be picked up.

They arrived early for the follow up appointment to complete the work. Thought that was nice. They put on plastic shoe covers to protect my floors and got to work. I just hung out and played with my phone while they worked. Luckily, we wouldn't have to do any holes in the drywall. Saved me a ton of extra effort from having to schedule a dry wall/painter to come out.

Eventually, they finished and I paid with my credit card. Piece of cake. The final cost was a bit over the original quote, but not by much. Typical and expected I guess!

The guys were professional and nice the entire time. Took time to explain how the work was being done and answered any questions I had along the way. I sort of wished I had tipped them, so instead I am sending them a thank you note and some Starbucks cards through their company's address.

I tested everything and it all seems to be working fine! Chris reminded me that there is a year warranty on the work.

Anyhow, I highly recommend As You Wish for your residential electrician needs!

When we decided on the work we wanted done they gave us a great price and completed the work promptly. One of the fan boxes they installed was a bit loose after installation but they came out the very next business day to make sure it was installed properly. Shadrin and a newly hired electrician came by to investigate several issues. They were prompt, mindful of our dog, wore booties inside, were great listeners, and went about evaluating our concerns. Their explanations were clear, their recommendations were sensible. In today's electrician world the services are pricey, however you're getting expert help, licensed and bonded, knowledgeable and efficient. They were all of that. We agreed to do a special project; it was explained to us thoroughly which made the decision-making easy. Only assumption I can make from that is that they are calculating something they don't want you to know. I do not trust them and would recommend you stay away.

We had these guys install a new panel last year, and called them back for a second job last week. They installed some hard-wired heaters (link below) in the bedrooms to take the chill off during winter nights (our heat-pump is good, but doesn't quite reach the back rooms).

Everything went great: estimate visit, scheduling, installation visit. Each interaction was professional and friendly. The price was about what I was expecting and they didn't hard-sell other upgrades.

I had AYWE come out to replace 1 electrical outlet and 3 thermostats. We already had the parts, but wanted a professional to come do the work since this electrical outlet was different than all the others in our house and to ensure that thermostats were correctly hooked up. I was able to quickly book an appointment through Paul, but was unable to get an estimate over the phone as they said all quoting was done on-site. It felt a bit weird that I was unable to get even an estimate, but ok, fine - not a big deal.

The electrician showed up on-time and was very friendly. They quoted me about $500 to change out these four items. He claimed that was what was in their price book. This was a bit frustrating as if they have a price book why was I not able to get a quote over the phone? This was also much higher than I was expecting given that the work should take about 40 minutes.

The thermostats that we purchased end up not being compatible due to the voltage so we just had the one outlet put in that day for $100.

A few weeks later, I was able to get compatible thermostats and amazon.com (yes, the online retailer) charged me only $200 for the same installation work that ASWE was going to charge $400 for. One star lost being overly expensive for simple work and one star for the lack of even ballpark quoting before the electrician came out.

Unfortunately the cost was way too high, and we have decided to use another company. We have had previous work done with this company for HVAC installation, but the cost was paid to the HVAC contractor and was reasonable at the time. I do wish the cost of the estimate was detailed, but clearly this company has set prices for jobs, and they run on the high end of the scale.

I really appreciated the friendliness of As You Wish; every technician, the scheduling coordinator, and the owner were friendly, nice, and responsive, and with the good reviews, I had presumed they'd at least be decent quality.

They did terrible workmanship and every job had to be redone (and sometimes, had to be redone several times). In the process of doing the work, they made a ton of mistakes and did not own up to them (including drilling holes in the ceiling (missing the walls), tearing up the attic access door, and leaving the room where they did the work dirty several times. They did not mention the mistakes and lied about the worksite being cleaned. The owner, to his credit, apologized continuously (after I made it clear this was not okay) and made sure I knew they would (eventually) fix it, but I had to spend way more time than I had thought I would accommodating their continually failed attempts to do the job (it took 8 different days over 2 months to do a job I was told would take one day).

They installed a fan incorrectly, left it looking terrible, came back to fix it, did a poor job again, and then had a third person come out to fix it (after the owner came to inspect it). The final job was good, but it took four trips to finally fix. They installed electrical wiring outside the house and did not do it to code, so it failed inspection (the repair passed, but only after the repair team came unprepared - they didn't have a long enough ladder, so a third visit was required).

While the owner called and kept saying he wanted to make it better, he never offered to patch the small drill holes, to repaint the newly patched ceiling or attic door, no offer of discount, and no apology about me having to take off work so I could be home 7 more times than I thought I'd have to be. They also messed up on half of the scheduled times (confirming one time, then the day before saying they would come out another time, or just coming later than confirmed).

Jeff was fine and competent technically, but there were some issues that people might wish to know about.

According to Jeff, As you wish was supposed to send out a few assistants to help Jeff out, but they seemed to be short staffed somewhat often as it was very often just him busting his butt to get this done as soon as possible. Thanks, Jeff for working as hard as you did. We appreciate it.

The one thing Jeff identified that we didn't expect or even know about until he said something was that our existing washer/dryer, new gas stove, and new tankless water heater had all been incorrectly wired by a subcontractor hired by our HVAC contractor. He quickly identified the problem and told me he'd fix it without cost because he couldn't deal with leaving it that was an having it potentially effect his reputation.

While Jeff is technically capable, he was listening to far right wing radio with headphones loud enough that you could hear a few feet away. That wasn't the limit of it though, he would actively try starting conversations about how Mr. Trump is going to make America great again and how Mrs. Clinton is corrupt and going to ruin the country. It struck my husband and I as very unprofessional and completely lacking in discretion. As a note, I don't much care what anyone believes as long as they keep it entirely to themselves unless asked about it.

I've used this company twice and the experience was excellent. I was referred by Metropolitan Appliance (also a great company), which told me that As You Wish understands customer service and the importance of good communication. That is spot-on. Both times -- installing a new dishwasher connection and installing a new dining room light fixture -- everything went super-smoothly. Both times, I was promised a time and they called ahead of time to confirm it and again when they were on their way. The team I got today, Bernie and Chris, were terrific and took extra care to install my dining room light fixture AND explain to me how to screw in the light bulbs once I got them (I know, sounds really obvious, but it wasn't to me, and they were super-patient and not patronizing at all. Not cheap but value is high!!

I've had five different electricians from this company out to do a variety of projects on our home. Every time I've been blown away by their great service, friendly disposition and phenomenal work. We had them out to investigate a spark in our walls, and they spent three separate house calls looking in to it. Turns out it was our furnace. They were very understanding and more than fair with the price. I've called for other projects since then and I've never had a problem getting an appointment within a day or two. Chris just came out to wire our bathroom switches and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Prices are always fair and they do great, clean work! They're our go to electricians.

Preston and his team were awesome! Pretty much all of the wiring in the house we just bought was knob and tube and had to be replaced. This was a pretty massive job, taking about two weeks in total, but everyone at As You Wish was incredibly professional, courteous, and good at their jobs. They finished the project on time and were very responsive to our additional requests (such as installing some new light fixtures we bought). And when they accidentally gashed our hardwood floors while moving furniture around, they immediately disclosed the mistake and offered to pay to have it repaired. This really meant a lot to me. As You Wish are trustworthy, fair, easy to communicate with, and just all-around nice people. Highly recommended.

First off - no phone manners when they called to say they were on their way. Most unprofessional. When they arrived they insisted our fixture (a small 50's sputnik lamp w/ short arms) was an effing chandelier & would cost $300 to install & why didn't we see that on their website?

It's kinda like calling a pimple a tumor. They went to their van, took 20 mins, came back & offered to install for $280. We said goodbye.

If I was a woman living alone these guys would've creeped me out!

So I woke up to a non-working garage door. Thought I'd call in a service provider to examine this issue for me. However, as I was toying around with the outlets and looking into the problems deeper around my garage, it looked like the whole outlet for the garage door system was not working. So I found As You Wish here and gave them a call. I described my suspicion and issues to Scott, who answered my call. He instructed me to just press the RESET button on an outlet. I mean, I know this sounds really silly but coming from someone who doesn't know anything about all things electrical this instruction was god-send. He saved me money and more crucially, time -Thank you As You Wish! I will be calling you again if this outlet issue persists and turns out to be something different.

We had several estimates to replace a hydronic heat system in a three story townhouse with Cadet electric wall heaters and after discussing the project with each, decided to go with As You Wish Electric. As You Wish Electric has a strange name, but the service isn't strange at all. We needed to have several outlets installed and some other, more unusual work, done as well. While they weren't the least expensive estimate we received, I went with them because I was very impressed with the advice I received from one of their electricians, Adam. His advice was good, and his work was good too.

If you need some electrical work done, I don't think you'll go wrong by talking to these people.

They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but they are the most as you wish contractor I know, I was unhappy at first because they did not route the electrical wiring I wish them to route, so they came back again to paint over the expose electrical duct out side to make it look better.

I was impressed they did that, I would recommend them again but they are not perfect they will make mistakes, but they will fix it and try to make you happy.

Great company! I had a small electrical job I needed done and they were able to send someone out to do an estimate within a day (I pushed it to the next day as I wasn't available and wasn't expecting that quick of a response).

Electrician showed up, provided the estimate (was competitive for Seattle), and when it looked good to me was able to start and finish the job the same day. The electrician (Jermaine) listened to what I was trying to get accomplished, evaluated my options, and presented them to me.

As part of our house sale process, we had to quickly seek the advice of electricians to review the old knob and tube in our home that buyers were questioning. We began making phone calls seeking immediate inspections. Between our agent's office and us, we called about 20 firms. Not one firm replied that day (or even within the next few days), except for As You Wish.

Not only did they answer the call, they sent a team of two technicians to our home within 2 hours of our plea for help. It was a remarkable response; we were off to a great start. The technicians were very respectful of our home, very knowledgeable and personable, and thorough. They were here for 2+ hours, opening every light switch and outlet plate, and even entering our attic for a visual inspection. When done, they sat down with me and carefully explained every detail. Within hours of leaving, they emailed an estimate for full knob and tube replacement. Not only was their estimate timing impressive, but so was the estimate itself - a mere fraction compared to other verbal, off-hand assumptions.

A couple days later, we needed a revised estimate to complete just the work that was deemed most sensitive (90% of the knob and tube was perfectly secure). We were put in touch with the same team while they were leaving a job, and they wrote up the estimate in their van while I was speaking to them. We got the estimate within minutes.

Finally, we needed a letter explaining the security of the knob and tube situation. A supervisor prepared it, and sent it to us within days of the inspection. When I asked for an invoice for their 2+ hours of labor, I was told it was free; they merely requested a review on Yelp or Angie's List.

This is an example of top notch customer service, which is so rare for contractors. While we did not go through the full process to have wiring work done, I am confident that this company excels in their trade and stands behind their work with reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend contacting them if you need electrical work done in your home (at a minimum, include them in your list of bidders). They are now the go-to company that our real estate agent's office will be using.

So, our front light flickered and the breaker box was humming weirdly, so we scheduled As You Wish Electric to come out and take a look. The amazing Ali and his friendly colleague, Chris, arrived and not only solved the problems, but did a complete diagnosis of our system, where to make adjustments, where to upgrade or replace, and subsequently sent a bid over that we requested within an hour of leaving our house. Hired AYW Electric to install an exterior free-standing outlet. They were very professional from scheduling through execution. The electricians were experienced and helped me make good decisions. The cost was very reasonable and they were totally above board on options and pricing.

AYW offered a specific time and was very proactive when it came to keeping me informed on schedule accuracy - and they arrived within 15min of their promised time! No window, just a time.

The guys who installed the outlet did a very good job of detailing my options and provided sound advice. They were done in a matter of hours and left the site in perfect condition - no trampled plants, no leftover trash, just good clean dirt.

They took my credit card which is not a guarantee amongst the trades. The price was reasonable and well explained; no surprises or upwell attempts. Just honest service at a fair price.

From the estimate through job completion, the service was personal, detail-oriented, and fantastic. I used As You Wish to upgrade my service, replace a panel, and replace the knob and tube wiring in my kitchen. In March we had Air Conditioning installed in our house as well as a mini-split ductless unit in an addition. As You Wish Electric did the electric work for the installation. As luck would have it, the installation was done on the rainiest, most miserable day possible. Despite the weather, these guys were on time, very courteous, and finished the job in one day. A couple of weeks later, we discovered some dried mud from the installation day, in our crawlspace. My husband called them and they sent Justin out that same day to clean it all up. Justin came with a big smile on his face and was so nice. I highly recommend these guys for any electrical needs. We won't hesitate to call them for our next project.

I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in AS YOU WISH ELECTRIC. On November 26, 2018 two people arrived to add a new circuit to my electric panel and add a single outdoor plug near my new outdoor tankless water heater. It took over 6 weeks from the time I scheduled to get the appointment. Then, when they came they arrived a couple of hours late and it was very late in the day. It was raining like crazy that day. They cut about 8 extra holes in my laundry room wall, left a HUGE mess all over the laundry room floor with drywall pieces and electric wires and simple garbage all over the place. But that wasn't even the worst part. It was raining hard and they went in and out of my house through my back sliding glass door and tracked in a lot of water onto my hardwood floor. When they came in the front door they were very concerned and put on shoe covers, so I assumed that they were being similarly concerned while working in the back of the house. When I went out there I was SHOCKED at the amount of standing water on my hardwood floor, over 1/2 inch at the door and decreased in a path to the laundry room. The floor has been stained and is slightly buckled. At the time that I made the appointment, I asked about a permit and was told that none would be required, now, 6 months later I have been contacted by the company to set an appointment for the permit inspector to come out in order to close the permit. WHAT? 6 months later? So, I just looked it up and they did pull the permit with L&I, but AS YOU WISH did not request the inspection until 5 months after the install. I think that the company acts very irresponsibly.

So glad we decided to go with AYWE for our laundry room/office remodel. Aaron showed up on time and gave us a thorough estimate of the work that needed to be done. He wrote down everything that was to be done and went over every aspect of job. Super transparent about the whole thing. Gave us a time estimate and went over the permits/inspections. While he was giving us an estimate, we decided to pick his brain about our mismatched/outdated/dangerous outlets throughout the house. Also installing recessed lighting throughout the rest of the house to match(plus we had very little overhead lighting in the rest of the house). He gave us some ideas and we decided to go ahead and just do everything at the same time. So glad we did! AYWE gave us a courtesy call the day before reminding us that they were coming the next day. Aaron also called a half hour before they showed up each morning to tell us they were on their way( I LOVE when companies do both of those things). They ended up finishing within the time frame they set and did an amazing job. Both Aaron and Ty were very professional and always asked questions before making a decision. Overall we are very happy with everything and would recommend them to anybody needing a small job done or an entire house rewired. Also, I want to give a shout out to Brenda and Paul whose customer service is impeccable. That goes a loooooong way.

Fantastic! Honest, wonderful crew! Many years ago, one of their electricians hooked up our new hot tub. He apparently did a couple things wrong and it needed to be completely re-done.

The owner was super accommodating and helpful. Even though it had been YEARS, he said it would be made right (also, the electrician who did it was no longer employed by them).

The guys came out and all were just great! Ali came out first and confirmed that the original guy made some mistakes. They then came out again and fixed it all up. FOR FREE.

As You Wish gave me an estimate to do some work late last year. The estimate was fair and they were not pushy about it at all. Unfortunately for me, I went with a different company because they were able to do some other work as well. Huge mistake to not go with As You Wish. I ended up having to go back to As You Wish to have them clean up the mess that the other contractor left me in - over ten long months of battling with them. Aaron who was the person who gave me the original estimate came back out and never made me feel bad that I hadn't gone with them originally. They were able to get me into their schedule relatively quickly for a larger job, and managed to fix the work from the first contractor (which failed Seattle City inspection) to pass inspection and were enjoyable to have around as well. I had interactions from the owner to the schedulers and everyone was kind, friendly, and professional.

We experienced a great and professional service this morning from Aaron. He was friendly with our curious toddler and gets bonus points for that. He helped us with some of our badly installed can lighting and gave us a quote for future work on some baseboard heaters. They have been quick to respond to emails and I was pleased to get a copy of the invoice and the estimate in my email the same day as our service call. Kudos.

My wife and I have had several electrical contractors in our home throughout the years. But this company is without any doubt the best we had!
We called As You Wish electric to help with a new electrical service, it was time to update it. They answered the phone right away, and WOW they are friendly. They scheduled an estimate appointment right away to accommodate my schedule. When the technicians came out for an estimate, they called when on his way, and was there within the time frame they told me. This is very rare these days.
The 2 techs that came out were in uniform, looked sharp, and very professional. They took their time answering all my questions, and were very knowledgeable. The estimate was done right away, and presented to me. They are not the cheapest estimate, but you get what you pay for. These guys guarantee their work, and have a great warranty. I am willing to spend more money, to have a top notch company in my home. I trust this company, and I know if the job went haywire, they would stand behind me and do the right thing. I am so pleased with As You Wish. On one of the coldest days of the year a few months ago, my electric panel crackled and popped and then was dead. I had no lights. I had no heat. And the quickest the first four places I called said they could help me was a week. When I called As You Wish and explained my situation, the woman answering the phone sounded genuinely concerned and told me she could get her guys out there later that day. I was so relieved. They came out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it, all at a reasonable price. They told me that I should get my entire panel replaced at some point, but only fixed the fuses that needed fixing instead of selling me something I didn't immediately need. I am now going to schedule a panel replacement before anything else happens, and guess who is getting my business?

We called As You Wish to come out to our house for a full electrical rewire of knob and tube. Brian came out and was quick and thorough. He emailed our estimate shortly after the original appointment. We had some follow up questions for him about the bid, and we emailed him without a response. We followed up a few times by email - no response, and we called him, but still no response. It's too bad he never followed through with the job - we had no other option but to choose another local electrician to do the job.

We recently had As You Wish install the electrical for a new AC installation at our home. They were great!! They did a terrific job with the electrical work and were on time, fast, thorough, and did an excellent job explaining the various options. Our job was performed by Ali and Chris, who were both outstanding. As You Wish is definitely getting our electrical referrals! One last thing I'd like to mention is that they left the area extremely clean. They swept up and tidied the entire area and put back everything they had to move to access the area. This is the level of care that you don't see as often these days and is greatly appreciated!

We just had As You Wish Electric install two additional pendant lights in our dining room (started with one originally, so had to wire in and cut in new boxes in the ceiling for the two new ones) and it came out looking awesome. They did a great job and were very professional every step of the way. They responded to my request for a quote via the website within a day, followed up via phone to make sure I got the quote, scheduled an appointment for me at their earliest availability, confirmed the day before and the electrician gave me a half hour heads up the day of the install when he was on his way over. Very professional. The installation came out very clean and looks perfect (the boxes are entirely concealed by the low profile fixtures and three pendants are dead on center & spaced/lengthened perfectly). He was in and out in two hours and kept the space very clean as well. And it was all done at a reasonable price and they were transparent about the pricing.

I highly recommend the for residential electrical work! Very professional!

I needed a light fixture replaced and I wanted my bathroom fan replaced, too. Justin came over right when I expected him to with his shoes were covered so he wouldn't track in any dirt in my house. He complimented me on my light fixture, which made me instantly like him. He tested my fan and said it didn't need to be replaced, just run it longer after we shower. He had to go up into our attic to check the vent and while he was up there he found a big, dead rat and he bagged it and brought it down (and didn't charge me for that). I will definitely use this company again.

Found them on Red Beacon and they were able to make an appointment pretty quickly. Aaron was on time and was able to replace the motor of my broken bathroom exhaust fan without tearing out the old unit. He cleaned up and vacuumed after himself when he was finished. Very happy with the friendliness, results and efficiency in completing the job.

Recommended by a friend. They called ahead and were here on time (They gave a 3 hour window but said I would probably be the 1st job). They were here by 0830. They were polite, knowledgeable, and quick. They wore shoe covers to keep my floors clean. They diagnosed the problem quickly and pointed out a few other things that needed work, wrote me a quote that is good for 30 days, and they were NOT pushy. I had another electrician out before As You Wish Electric and he spent nearly 3 hours here and misdiagnosed the problem.
In short I highly recommend them! They kept me informed along the way and explained what they found and what needed to be done and why.

We needed a significant amount of rewiring on our house and got a few quotes -- AYWE was the most reasonably priced, the most responsive, and the quickest to get booked with. Shadrin and Stoney (apprentice) were respectful, friendly, trustworthy, and did great work. They addressed all the concerns we had and fixed other things we hadn't even noticed that now make our lives easier (the wiring in this house was super wonky!). We did have to call back because a couple clean up details got overlooked, but AYWE was willing to send someone out the same day to fix it. The person that came to help with that was also fantastic. My partner and I are both queer and trans, so we sometimes feel nervous about bringing people we don't know into our home. Once we met Shadrin and Stoney we felt totally comfortable, and they were respectful in all their interactions with us. As a bonus, they wore shoe covers in the house and they loved our dog.

Mike came out to fix a breaker problem and diagnosed a very serious electrical and wiring issue (my insurance company thanks you!). Justin and his apprentice were absolutely fantastic. Can I please give 10 stars? We just wrapped up a major project at our house - upgrading the entire electrical wiring and installing a ton of new lights. As You Wish did the work, end to end. When they came out to bid, they were extremely thorough, very professional and their bid was clear and fairly priced. I have to say, Aaron S., the employee who did the initial bid, was the true clinching factor in determining which company we chose to go with. That was the RIGHT move. Hire these guys and request Aaron. He was the lead on the entire job. I've never seen someone so meticulous, which is what you want on such a critical job! He was extremely helpful throughout the process. This is someone who's in your house all day for the better part of two weeks. Professional, thorough, detail-oriented, he could break down the process in terms I more readily understood, always had time for my questions, and ensured the job was done to our specifications, actually way exceeded our expectations. The job was completed on-time! The inspection was completed in no time! As You Wish is our absolute go-to electetrical company. All of the employees that worked on this job (and there were many) were amazing. We strongly recommend you request Aaron S. - the best!

I called As You Wish to get work done on our new house after calling another company whose receptionist led off with It's a beautiful day at (company). How can we make you smile? AYW was pleasant and professional without going over the top. We scheduled an estimator who came out to look at everything and give me a run down on the costs for different parts of the work as well as the time it would take. A later call to the office scheduled the work, and the tech who came out was pleasant and professional as well. Due to missing parts from the lighting store, it took a couple visits to finish our work. They are pretty busy, so scheduling a follow up set us back a week or two, but they were always clear about what would happen when, and they showed up when they said they would.

As You Wish Electric performed an electrical hook up to a ductless heat pump that Greenwood Heating was doing. The work was done properly but the mess from drilling holes in the lumber was not cleaned up and there was a mess outside also. The installer from Greenwood Heating said he picked up the mess outside that the electrician had left and I vacuumed up the wood chips inside after moving things around so I could get to everything. The other issue is probably not their fault but As You Wish Electric set up an appointment for the electrical work to be inspected but on the day of the inspection no one showed up and no one called saying they would not make it that day or set up a different date. I suppose the county inspector is the issue but I do not know who As You Wish Electric contacted and would have been nice if they would have called back to see if the inspection had been performed. Contacted As You Wish Electric to see if they can resolve this issue.
