Sean is an amazing plumber. I had a major leak in my dishwasher/garbage disposal hookup after a big box dishwasher installation. This made it impossible for me to use my kitchen sink. Sean was in the neighborhood and he stopped at my house within an hour to take a look at the problem.  Sean has a lot of experience and he knew exactly what to do within minutes of looking at everything. He had the parts on hand to fix the issue and fixed the entire problem very quickly and at a great price. Everything is now working perfectly. He's a super nice guy on top of being a great plumber. I definitely recommend Sean to anyone in need of a plumber!

Great. These guys came out to repair a leaky copper pipe in our rather cramped crawlspace. Really appreciate how quickly they were able to respond and fix the problem!

These guys are super heroes of the plumbing realm.  No hype.  No BS.  Honesty and hard work, with fair pricing is what you will get from A of P.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts (not our wallets) for being the best in the business.

I gave The Art of Plumbing a call in the morning, and they made a priority to schedule me that same day! I got a two hour appointment window (which is reasonable) and a 30 minute call ahead Courtesy call to let me know they were on their way. That was a huge bonus for me as a mom of a young kiddo. Mac was friendly, quick, and efficient. I will definitely use these guys again if I have an issue- or even just need things checked out. Thanks for the service!

I would highly recommend The Art of Plumbing for anyone looking to take on a substantial plumbing project.  My husband and I were converting an old closet space in our 1910 home into a .75 bath.  The bathroom was not directly over any other plumbing within the house, so it was to require all new plumbing running from the basement to the 2nd story of our home.  We secured bids from a total of four plumbers in the Seattle area, and The Art of Plumbing was, by far, the most communicative and detailed of everyone we spoke with.

Sean was on time for the home walk-through, took very detailed notes and measurements, and even stuck around to answer random plumbing questions my husband and I had about our old home.  When we received the bid a week later, it was 2 full pages of detailed work line items.  There was no question about what the bid did or did not include.  Additionally, his prices were fair and honest.  Of the four bids, The Art of Plumbing was $3K less than the most expensive, identical with another plumber (although The Art of Plumbing's communication was superior), and about $1,500 more than the lowest bid (who was a one-man show and as a result, the work would take longer to get done).

Ultimately my husband and I were not in a position to take on the full project after securing bids from all trades, but based on the bidding process, I would highly recommend The Art of Plumbing for anyone looking for honest, transparent, and reliable plumbers for their project.

I contacted one of the big commercial plumbing places and got an exorbitant price quote. The guys at The Art of Plumbing were recommended by another plumber that did not do gutter work.
They were on time, very professional, and cost a fraction of what I was quoted by the other plumbers. I felt that I could trust these guys.

I am soooooooooooo glad that this company was referred to me. I was way over quoted by Rotor Rooter by 8000! They were so wonderful. They gave me a fair quote, were on time and super friendly. I would definitely use them again. Thanks for the great work!

We bought a flipped home last August and have since encountered a bunch of little problems resulting from the poor craftsmanship of the renovators. Among these was a subtle sewage smell in our main floor bathroom. We had two plumbers (from other companies) come in to give their opinions; neither could smell the odor and both seemed hesitant to move forward in diagnosing the issue, suggesting that we'd probably have to open the walls to figure out what was wrong. Frustrated, we decided to give one last plumbing company--The Art of Plumbing--a try. Scheduling was quick and a quote was given based on the description of our problem. Within the week, we had a couple plumbers come to the house. They arrived promptly within the scheduled window, and in less than an hour they completed their work (which they had diagnosed correctly from my email alone). We were charged the quoted amount. Since then, no weird smell! Unsurprisingly, our toilet had not been installed properly. We're glad to have it fixed now, especially since we didn't have to open up any walls. I have no idea why the other plumbers thought it would be such an issue, but thank god we found these guys!

We have used The Art of Plumbing a few times and could not be happier with the level of service they provide. Sean has done large jobs like replacing our water main as well as small jobs like unclogging our backed up pipes. All of the work he does with detail, professionalism and empathy. I think the importance of empathy can be overlooked, but when you're calling a plumber at 9pm on a Sunday night because your bathroom is flooded, empathy is really welcomed. He is always quick to respond to our need, is extremely thorough and isn't overly expensive. When we had to have our water main replaced, I shopped it around. Two other plumbers told me I would have to contact the city and have them come out and mark the yard. Sean called them himself and did all the marking. He wasn't the most expensive out of the 3 I called, but was in the middle. However, he did more of the work than the others and never tried to upsell me on services that weren't an immediate need. My only reservation about recommending The Art of Plumbing is that they then become too busy and won't be able to give me the quick response in which I am accustomed.

After a recent bad experience with Roto Rooter, I want to make sure to give a shout out to The Art of Plumbing.  I now appreciate his service SO much!  About a year ago, he came out to fix a leaky bathtub faucet that needed to be completely replaced.

He was incredibly fast.  You can tell that he is really trying not to waste your per/hour spent.  He was very knowledgeable, and communicated very well, showing me the parts that were worn in the knob's mechanism and comparing it to the other knob for me.  He also fixed a sink drain plug that I couldn't figure out how to fix myself.  He just used the part that I had already bought and installed it for me.

He did both of these things in an hour and left everything beautiful and clean.
