I cannot express how pleased I am after our experiences with Christian.  I have no doubt he will be the first person I call the next time I require a plumber.

He replaced a water heater for us in our home yesterday.

- He was incredibly respectful and kind in all of our interactions... not only to myself, but also to my children and my dog.
- He took the time to do research and expand his own knowledge when presented with a question about new water heater technology.
- He was honest and up-front about our options during the quote process and the long-term value they would give us.
- His quotes stayed within our budget.  There was not attempt to up-sell.
- He is communicative and effective in his communication.
- He never used any high-pressure sales tactics on us.

I highly recommend this company if all of their employees are like Christian.

Rainier View Rooter did excellent re-pipingg services for my residence. The team was professional, competent, and courteous from start to finish. They kept me updated throughout the process and answered all of my questions, which put me at ease. The crew arrived on schedule and worked hard to complete the task with minimal disruption to my regular routine. The end result was amazing, and I noticed an instant improvement in the water pressure in my home. Overall, I strongly suggest Rainier View Rooter because of their great workmanship and customer service. They are the go-to company in Puyallup for re-piping services.

We had a leaking garbage disposal. Tim came on time for the appointment. We needed a new disposal which I figured was the case after 9 years. He had a disappear on hand and was able to install and test it quickly. Very professional. Thanks.

Here is all I can say:  $300/hour to work on a jammed garbage disposal they installed in our new house is out of line. I would agree that disposals do jam, but they can also be cleared by hand or with the Allen wrench tool provided if it is not a problem with the product itself -and that is a warranty issue.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Rainier View, specifically Tim our service rep, was super professional and conscientious. Tim went over & above to listen to and address our needs. We live on Anderson Island and their service fee to the ferry access only islands was very reasonable and well earned. The service was very thorough and professional. Tim was extremely respectful of our modest home and kept everything very clean.

These service Techs were amazing.  

They drove on a Friday from Seattle to Puyallup and arrive after hours to resolve my sewer line blockage.

They were efficient in clearing the blockage.  What a big relief to have my toilets running properly.

Moved into a new (to us) house, Our sink had been backing up, finally got to the point where it was clogged in the morning, disposal was coming out the other side, We didn't know how bad the problem was. So I got a referral from a coworker, called Rainier and they were so nice!  Listened to my problem, and had a tech out right away.  Eric Called right when they said he would, have me an eta, came and was amazing.  Complete professional, gave us options and recommendations on longevity and price.  
Fixed our problem and was on his way.
We would recommend Eric Glover to anyone.  Great service.  Great knowledge.  Well def use again.

I received a $200 bill for 15 minutes of work - which is a full hourly charge of $189 + tax. Here's my story.

I had an appointment with Rainier View for a one year warranty claim on work they completed while building my home. The appointment was scheduled by (the super friendly) Sherry who was able to schedule around another appointment I had the same day at 10:30.

The day of the appointment, I was in the shower when the plumber called to see if I was home as he had an appointment. (it was 7:45 am) I was out of the shower and outside talking to the contractors who were now both there and that I just needed a couple minutes to put the dog away and pick up anything in the bathroom.

at 8:02 am I walked outside and contacted the two contractors. I let them know I hadn't been expecting them until 10:30, was apologetic for not having been ready, but was glad they were there early.

The plumber began our meeting by telling me it wasn't possible for me to have a specific appointment as they always have a four hour window. I ignored this as it wasn't the point. I kept telling them I was glad they were there.

I began to go over quickly what each issue was and showed them to their respective places in my home. I told the plumber that I had been having issues with my master bath not draining correctly and was concerned about construction debris being a culprit. I also mentioned that when I moved in there was a large amount of glue left around the drain which I needed to peel off, and was concerned there might be more in the pipe. He agreed and said construction debris is common, and that the glue is usually supposed to be cleaned up by another person. He would look. I left the bathroom to go in another room and answer some questions of the trim contractor.

I went back to check on the plumber a maximum of 5 minutes later. I asked him how it was going. He lifted the toilet lid and pointed to a clump of hair in the toilet which he had pulled from the drain. Then looked at me and said Its draining fine now to which I replied its been draining fine because I just used drano on it for the second time since living here for a year. How could that little amount of hair stop up my drain in such a short period of time to where I'm standing in ankle deep water?

His response Who told you to use drano?!

I kept telling him there was no way this was the reason for the clog, but he had clearly made up his mind and was not going to do any further assessments. I left the bathroom to go check on the other contractor and while I was talking to him, the plumber left.

He was in my home for no more than 15 mins.

Because a hair clog is not covered under my warranty, he also sent me a bill for $200.

I was not able to choose my plumber, but based on the experience I had with this company I will NEVER use them again. I also need to pay another plumber to come in and check to see if there is construction debris or a belly or some other issue with the drain in my batheoom so that I can have it taken care of if that is an issue.

Based on this 10-15 minute experience with this one plumber who charged me for a full hour of work to basically condescend to me that because I have hair, that's the reason my drain is clogged is unprofessional at best.

I would hope that I am an exception to this kind of experience with Rainier View, but would proceed with extreme caution if choosing this company.

Followup - as job is completed. Great communication, professional, qualified, on time. I will for sure make this my go to for all future plumbing issues. Your skilled workers represent you well. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. Evaluated the problem - leaking drain system due to failed seal from improper install originally years ago by another company. They were able to reroute the drain properly, no issues. thank you again

Our water heater was going out and from the very start with this company their customer service was excellent! The girls in the office got us in right away and got our water heater ordered and Liam got it in and got us taken care of, Even came back when part of the original gas hook up failed from the house. Everyone was helpful, considerate and friendly. I would highly recommend them :)

Lehman from Rainier View came today to service our tankless water heater it had not been done as it should be.  He was professional and knowledgeable he also replaced our faucet because it was not performing well I chose a high one and I love it.  Will definitely use Rainer View again for routine maintenance and any other issue going forward.

I had an excellent experience with Rainier View Rooter this weekend. I was in urgent need of assistance to repair a problem with our grinder pump. This problem prevented my elderly in-laws from using the restroom (big problem). Representatives from Rainier acknowledged the urgency and deployed their specialist Devon T. Devon was already on another project but made time to throughly review and repair our pump. Exceptional customer service and clean up after job was done 5 Stars!

Excellent service today by Darren to assess the problem with tankless hot water heater.
Came out and identified the problem and solved it quickly. Very professional and courteous.

This is an update to my previous review.  We received a call from Rainier View Rooter to say that they were refunding us $100.00 and that we should not have been charged the full amount and they would be putting the check in the mail to us.  The check arrived today. I am impressed with them righting this with us.  It shows me not only does this business believe in great service, employ professional plumbers but that they also have the integrity to do the right thing.  
We will definitely call this company again the next time we have a plumbing need and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to others. Susan A.

I'm on a budget so when my main pipe to my septic needed to be replaced I called a few places in Puyallup and thought I was going to die of SHOCK!! My neighbor has used Rainier Plumbing a few times and promised they would be fair and not try and stick me....He was right!!!! I did a little digging myself to help and they saved me OVER HALF the price as these other T.V Plumbing places and with the nicest Class Act Crew You have my business for life and my recommendation for service to ALL I know. You will never know how much you saved my home and taught me the respect of how hard you work in your profession.

I have a 1 1/2 bathtub drain pipe that has a slow leak. The pipe is exposed in the garage and an easy fix, its just i am physically unable to fix it myself. Spanaway 98387

If anyone ever needs exceptional plumbing work from the most exceptionally courteous staff, and professional organization, call Rainier View. I had a warranty repair and I was expecting resistance but what I got was a dedication for customer service. I'm still in awe of how well Austin and John represent their company. Spoke with Nicole and Crystal at the office and they were the first clue that their operation is head and shoulders above the rest. And yes, they did quality work too, many thanks!

I had my hot water tank go out during the winter a couple years ago.  I had a small child in my home, it was freezing out and no hot water and they had a technician out in 2 hours. They got us up and running fast! They did a great job, professional and friendly.  I would highly recommended them to all my family and friends!

We have called Rainier View a couple different times and they have always been quick to respond and great to work with! Devin came in a moments notice this time to fix a busted hose bib pipe and did a fantastic job in a very timely manner! I can't recommend these guys enough!

I purchased my 100yr old home in 2010. One of my purchasing requirements was that the seller replace all galvanized and cast iron drains located in my crawl space. I required they have a licensed, bonded, and insured plumber complete the work and provide me with all of the invoices, in which they did.

February 2012, I could hear a leak in my crawl space. After inspecting, I discovered what appeared to be a galvanized pipe that was still installed. I immediately contacted Rainier View and was already anticipating an uphill battle. Plumber Ed came out, inspected, and informed me that it was a lead pipe. Although I was upset, I didn't necessarily feel they were responsible as I was very specific in my request (galvenized and cast iron). Ed explained how he felt responsible for missing the lead pipe and that he would speak with the owner and see if they could reduce the repair cost for me. I was very appreciative of this!

When DeAnna (receiptionist - very friendly) called to schedule the repairs, she explained that they were going to take care of it for me as a courtesy. I was astounded! I highly recommend this company as they are VERY professional, honest, and possess a strong level of integrity!

This Plumbing company has helped me several times. From small to big jobs they seem to do it all and have the top notch tools.. If it involves plumbing or pipe they are my first call.

I have had the worst plumbing service with Rainier View.

Rainier View installed a steaming unit in my attic for my shower. During a winter cold spell last year the steaming unit starting leaking water in the attic and down the walls of my home. I turned off the water running to the unit and called Rainier View. The tech came out and stated that the unit was damaged and would have to be replaced. The tech also stated that when the unit was installed it should have been insulated against the cold temperature. The tech called back to the company and informed the owner of the first installer's mistake. The owner of Rainier View refused to take responsibility. Even though Rainier View installed the unit and their own tech came out and indicated that the unit was installed incorrectly the owner would not replace the unit nor fix the problem. And on top of that, the owner wanted me to pay 150 bucks for the tech coming out to inform me that his company installed the unit incorrectly. What a joke!!!! Stay away from this company.
