Emerald City Sewer

The sewer pipe connecting my home to the city main backed up several weeks ago.  I rented a power machine and cleared it.  The fix lasted a couple of days.  I called several local firms to get estimates to repair whatever was wrong.  ECS scoped the pipe at no cost to me and provided a quote.  The quote I received from ECS was very competitive compared to other estimates I got.  I ended up having ECS installing a new pipe within my old pipe from the sidewalk to my home.  The disturbance to my yard was minimal.  

Wayne was easy to talk to and wonderfully honest and straightforward.  The crew who performed the work was very professional and great to work with.  
I worked in construction for 15 years and then was a consulting mechanical engineer for commercial and institutional buildings for 18 years.  I am familiar with construction and working with tradesmen.  

I am very pleased with the quality of work, cost, and the company in general.  I highly recommend this firm.

Wayne and his team squeezed in the repair of our foundation leak between storms a few days ago. They quickly analyzed the problem, got to work, patched the hole and were done in less than two hours.  I checked the repair after additional rain early Sunday morning. No leak and the soil was beginning to dry.

Above and Beyond, and thats exactly what all home owners want to hear when it comes to potentially pricey sewer and/or plumbing work.  But Wayne and Will at Emerald City Sewer not only solved our issue quickly and smoothly but I received extremely kind and clear communication throughout the process. Service was beyond excellent. We all cringe and clutch our wallets at the thought of needing plumbing work or when there is wind of sewage issues.  And sadly, in this COVID climate, we are expecting things to turn down a dark path however I am fortunate to have been able to reach out to a very local business...literally, down the street. Over the weekend, I began to notice a pungent smell in both bathrooms. So bad I had to turn on the vent fans and close the doors. I left a message on Sunday for Emerald City and received a message first thing from Wayne, letting me know that Will would be down to check out the problem for us later than morning.  I shared concerns about COVID safety measures being taken and he reassured me they are following all CDC recommendations and extra measures could be taken if needed.  All work was does quickly, Will kept me updated as to what we saw, what he believed to be the issue, reassured me that he could take care of the problem and shared pictures along the way. Super sweet guy. More than fair and reasonable price, which makes mama happy. : )

Just had Wayne from Emerald City Sewer out after a Home Depot clog remover didn't work on an outside drain. He prepped the floors with tarps, went out 90 feet with a scope until he reached the clog, stayed at it until it was cleared,  and cleaned up the area perfectly. His price was reasonable, he was professional throughout, and I would highly recommend!

After a recent rainstorm, I had a plumbing disaster on my hands - a totally flooded basement.  I called Wayne and company to determine what went wrong.  He fit me in quickly, came out and did a thorough scope.  Wayne identified the problem, carefully explained both that and what needed to be done to fix it, and provided a reasonable bid.  He and his team arrived on schedule, repaired the sewer line, and totally cleaned up the work area.  He was an absolute pleasure to work with - professional, competent and fair.  I will happily hire him again, if I unhappily have other sewer issues in the future.  He is a gem!

Great fortune finding this honest and reasonable company. They stuck to the estimate, showed up when they said they would, finished on time and cleaned up completely.  Wow.

I am a Home Inspector and have referred Wayne, owner of Emerald City Plumbing, for 4 or 5 years. The customer feedback on Wayne has been outstanding every time. He is competitively priced, shows up on time and completes the work as contracted. Not only is he on my referral list, I hired him to do the plumbing work when I added a bathroom to my basement. Recently, he replace a gas hot heater for a friend, it was leaking into a bedroom and she needed a new one right away. He came out next day, on a Saturday, put in a new high efficiency heater and took the old one away. His customer service, skill as a plumber, and dependability make him my go to plumber!

We needed someone to come out and scope our line and I felt like they gave us an honest price compared to other plumbing companies that had outrageous pricing. Wayne was fantastic, friendly, and very honest. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for any of my plumbing needs.

I have used Emerald City Plumbing on several occasions and have been very happy with their work and promptness to get in and get the job done! I had a huge sewer line repair that Wayne and his crew fixed.  The previous repair by another company left a huge dip (bell) in the line so I kept having sewer backing up into my basement sinks. Finally it is fixed!!  They know what they are doing!
