I would like to say thankyou to Mr. Addan he came out to my home and diagnosed the leak that was coming from the tub-spout in the guest bathroom he was very knowledgeable explained that the tub-spout needed seal and it should be ready to operate I would definitely recommend Addan and the plumbing and drain company they are awesome.
Called to schedule a plumbing inspection for a condo unit and to get a pricing quote. They said the inspection was free and we would only be charged if work was done.
First appointment: They were supposed to arrive between 11am and 1pm. They did not. I had to reschedule.
Second appointment: They were supposed to arrive between 11am and 1pm. They did not. I had to reschedule. They said to reschedule for the first appointment of the day so they would be on time. This would have been good to know when I first scheduled rather than after waiting four hours.
Talked to the staff, who did not care about any annoyance, inconvenience or hardship that I was caused. They also tried to blame on on me, saying I had a narrow available window. No, I was available the window you assigned me, I just couldn't stay past that. All they had to do was tell me ahead of time to set aside additional time (like plan for 11-5 rather than 11-1) but they didn't. It wouldn't have been that hard for them to tell me to reserve a four hour window and we would've been done in less time.
Today: They showed up, did the inspection. It was fine. They then charged me $180. This wouldn't have been a big deal - I don't mind paying for services rendered - but again, COMMUNICATION. Don't tell me it is free when it isn't.
The least they could have done was given me a discount for screwing up so much. Or apologized
Or pretend they cared at all, even a little bit.
I would recommend using a different company.
If I ever owned my own plumbing and drain company, I would not charge a flat rate of $680 labor for every water heater replacement service. I would not charge you $170/hour because I can't think of any job out there that deserves this amount considering how so many millions of hard working people struggle to make that much in an entire day. I would not find a way to charge you $1080 above the cost of a water heater, and tell you that this includes the $680 of flat rate labor, plus another $400 of miscellaneous parts and up-charges, on top of a $145 urgent service call fee. Your $1080 would be important to me, because I know how hard these days and times are, Covid or no Covid, and I wouldn't feel right accepting this much money when at the end of the day I know it's really an overcharge because of greed. I know how to use my watch and could bring your invoice to a much more reasonable hourly rate for labor and for exactly the number of hours my technician provided you service.
Why would I do this?! It's a simple answer, really. It's because I want to sleep well at night. I can actually relate to you as a hard working Seattleite, and have a conscience that makes me think about the hundreds of homes my company services each week. I would want to know that each one of them received excellent plumbing service and that not one of them felt that their wallets were exploited just because property management companies refer to us all the time.
The Plumbing and Draining Co, LLC should grow a conscience and start charging more honestly. $1788 for urgent replacement of a water heater that costs $511 at Lowe's? How do they sleep at night? It's an easy observation- greedy owners allow mission-complacency to creep into their career practices once payments and referral contracts become automatic. I bet at one time long ago the original owner felt good about doing the right thing (which is actually their current company motto), but that time was long ago and forgotten by the current ownership and management who need to be called out for the rates that they charge.
Property management company advised we will be getting a call from 9-11am. I got one left voicemail at 8.37am. Was advised the plumber waited outside for 20 minutes and called numerous times, I still only got one call with the voicemail. The second called plumber comes, fixes the sink, presses the reset button and unclogs the drain with an Allen key which can be bought at Wamart for $7.35c. My favorite part is maintenance should be included in our rent, oh no... $183.74c later we have a bill from property manager on behalf of the plumber because there was an initial 'no show'
Positive side: Plumber was friendly, explained the issue & had a big smile on his face.
Edit: Even better, we got charged two bills. One for the no show and one for the maintenance cost all together we have to pay $367.48 for a 26 year old plumber to use his Allen key and press the reset button. Thanks again!

No consideration for a person's time. I've lost two days waiting for a tech from this company. I understand sometimes things happen, but TWICE in a row for the SAME reason and to not notify me either time until well into the afternoon is unacceptable. Last week the office called me at 2pm to say no one would come to my house that day because too many techs were out sick. I was rescheduled to today between 1pm and 3pm. The office called me at 2:30pm to cancel AGAIN. Same excuse as last week. I'd expect the office to know their staffing level at the start of the day - especially since they've had this staffing problem for at least a week, but they wait until afternoon to tell me they aren't coming. I'm moving on to a different company.

Just want to put another review here because I got a response on yelp, but that person never talked to me in person.
Do not use this company, they sent out a plumber that stole from us. The company took basically no action. Under no circumstances would I hire this company, let alone let one of them in my house again.
I had a recent plumbing problem and can't praise The Plumbing & Drain Company enough and particularly Jacob who came to my condo in Seattle and was the epitome of honest, thorough, and effective professional service. He was exceedingly careful in my home and explained everything he was doing. He answered my questions directly and was straight with me regarding the issue. I have found my plumber for life!

Very poor experience today. Contacted this company to install a hot water heater in an apartment. Set the date for today and agreed to supply the tank. A young man came out to install and took a look and emailed me a quote for about 1100.00 to install. I approved and thought he had gone to work. I was mistaken. An hour or so later a man named Sam showed up at my office and said he was the supervisor for the plumbing company and that they had no way to shut the power off to the tank. I told him where the breaker was located and he said he had already found the breakers, tried all the double breakers and none of them shut the power off to the tank. I called a maintenance technician and he went over and showed him the breakers and shut off the power to the tank. Shortly after, the installer called me to ask me to sign the estimate he had emailed me. I asked him if he was now working on the tank and he said they were deciding if they were going to do it or not. I asked what the problem was and he said it was the breakers. They should be a double pull, but instead, they were two single pulls. I have never had a problem like this so I questioned what difference it makes to him. He put Sam (supervisor) back on the phone and Sam explained that this breaker situation was wrong and he didn't want to mess with it. I kept telling him it has been inspected by the Fire Dept and has never been a problem, and that I would have my maintenance guy turn the power off and back on but he said it was their liability and he didn't want to do it. What a waste of time! I was furious! Why even set the appointment if you're not going to perform the work? Why don't you ask when I call in about the breakers if that is going to be a deal breaker? Why waste my time (and yours) spending over two hours accomplishing nothing? By the way, I checked with an electrical company. It is NOT wrong to have two single pulls on a 240 breaker. Current code calls for a double pull BUT older buildings (like ours) are compliant and safe with the single pulls. Sam needs to learn some electrical if he is going to spout off about what is right and wrong. End result - Called another plumber who was able to fit me in same day at a better price and guess what?! Had no problem with the single pulls, never even mentioned it. They were happy to make the money The Plumbing & Drain Company didn't want.
Corey saved the day! Arrived right on time with everything he needed to get out to the main line (extra lengths) Corey is extremely skilled and personable. wow!
Fantastic customer service, and we're so thankful for their help! After the previous owner's plumbing quick-fix failed after only 3 months of my husband and I being the new homeowners, we contacted The Plumbing & Drain Company. Not only did they fix the problem properly, but they also spent extra time to assess, discuss, and explain the best options for our kitchen and budget. More repair work was needed than I originally told them we needed (based on the previous owner's work order / invoice). Even so, they went above and beyond by staying to redo the plumbing the right way, day-of, instead of requiring us to schedule an additional time slot another day.
We had a gas hot water tank installed today by The Plumbing & Drain Company.
The installers were efficient, professional and friendly. The quality of the workmanship is top notch and was performed in a timely fashion. They were neat and clean, and the work is a testament to craftsmanship. The tank was a straight 40 gallon swap, but time and engineering changes made for on site modifications to water and gas lines, and the plumbing techs just nailed it.
The owners were friendly, courteous and left us knowing exactly what we were paying for in goods and services. This was a good customer experience.
Excellent Service. Every time we have a Plumbing issue at our house or need to flush the tankless water heater I call the Plumbing and Drain. The office staff is super helpful, and the service techs answer any questions I have.
Great company and easy to work with. I work with this company with my property management company and they our on-call emergency maintenance after hours.
They are fantastic and are so quick to respond and help. Fantastic crew and reasonable prices!
They make my job a lot less stressful in difficult maintenance emergencies.
Good Job guys!
I scheduled an appointment with them almost a month ago. I was given a 3-5p window. I made the efforts to move meetings around and got home on time. Around 3:30p I got the call to say they won't be able to make it within the original window and ask for rescheduling. I was willing to wait till 6p but the other end said it's impossible to make it. Whoever scheduled the job should have done a better job. 3 hours window is quite hard to get it wrong.

They may not offer a military discount, and my bill was more than I make in a couple of days, however they were well worth it. Doug was friendly, explained everything in depth, cleared my drain, checked the bathroom plumbing and went above and beyond the call of duty. He didn't leave until everything was taken care of and Im sure his dinner was cold. I would recommend this company any day, any time. Thanks Doug!
We needed to replace some hard to get to galvanized pipes before we moved into our house. They got the estimate out right away and were lower than others. Todd and Sonny came out a few days later and did an amazing job. They were honest and upfront about everything, extremely responsive and respectful and most importantly, really knew what they were doing. Working on an older house, they found creative solutions without having to making extra holes in the drywall and Todd came back one last day to make sure everything was done right. We really felt confident in their work and would hire them again in a second.

I received a call from the dispatcher then Britt called and was here in a few hours. He was courteous and took his time locating the problem as well as giving me a few tips on some other areas to watch in my home. I'm glad we used this company and glad Britt was our technician. Thank you for your help sir!!
What an amazing experience! I called to have my garbage disposal replaced and toilets checked. Blaine was the plumber assigned to the job. Rather than charge me to replace the disposal, he reset the disposal and it magically worked again. I had tripped the disposal switch. He took the time to explain what I had done, how to reset the disposal in the future, and how best to care for the disposal.
Blaine also inspected the toilets and said all was in working order and, again, explained how best to care for the toilets.
Perhaps the most amazing thing is that he didn't charge for the job.
This is an incredible company, and I highly recommend Plumbing and Drain Company and will use the company in the future. Wow!
These guys are awesome I use them at my job and every time I need them they come thru , definitely my life savers
Can't speak about the actual plumbing repairs as I haven't been to the property since they were done. My comments relate to the office staff. I have interacted with one person there on the phone a couple of times and haven't had a good experience. Now, I've waited hours (until 3:30 a.m. at my location) to speak to the person in the accounting department. Multiple expensive calls later, there is no answer after getting the message that my call may be monitored... Seems I've been relegated to a do not answer list... and all I want to do is pay my bill. It should not be this hard.

They do a Wonderful job. They fixed a couple of our leaks, and are available the same day.
I've had these guys out three or four times now to fix different plumbing problems in the house (leak in the wall, under sink link, install new garbage disposal). They are always able to get here within a day or two. They get the job done well and are reasonably priced.
Just got done with a late night emergency at my home. Patrick was awesome. He assessed the situation and came up with a plan for the path to the solution. As a contractor in the mitigation industry, I'm keenly aware of what you want in an emergency response. And these guys delivered. This is the company you want to have come to the rescue. Thank you Brian and the crew at Plumbing and Drain Company.
We just bought a condo with three plumbing leaks and a frozen water main. I called four different plumbers on a Saturday and the Plumbing & Drain Company was the only one answered my call to set up a Monday AM appointment. Connor Williams and his fully equipped truck arrived as scheduled at 10:30 AM on Monday, and he worked non-stop until 8:30 PM after everything was fixed to his satisfaction. He was professional, pleasant, thorough, took our concerns into consideration and came up with the best solutions. Connor Williams is our #1 plumber from now on!
Rich was great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. Will definitely call this company to come out again.

So easy to work with. They don't charge to come out and give an estimate. Super prompt. We had a time sensitive situation, since our hose faucet starting leaking steadily and it's been below freezing at night. Mike came out, went under the house. Figured out what needed doing and wrote us up a quote for the job. We accepted and he got right to replacing the hose bib. Their pricing is fair. Everyone I messaged and talked to on the phone was stellar. Mike, the plumber, was professional, courteous and just seemed like a really nice guy. The results are great. We now have better water pressure than we've ever had from that hose, it's not leaking and esthetically it's more pleasing than the hardware that was on it before.
Called The Plumbing & Drain Company yesterday morning after discovering the water heater was leaking all over and needed to be replaced. They were so nice and got me on the standby schedule for the same day. Less than 3 hrs. later they were at my house and replaced the water heater. Doug did a great job and left the work site cleaner than he found it!! LOL I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

Excellent company to work with. Scheduling appointment was easy, technician, Steve, arrived promptly, very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and spent time with me to explain what needed to be done. Work completed thoroughly. Reassured me that if there were an issue, they were just a call away! Highly recommend Plumbing and Drain Co.
I've used the Plumbing & Drain for 2 jobs. One @ our rental & just last Tuesday for a new water heater for our home...Nice people to deal with.. Eric was very helpful & steered us to the right product. The only reason 4 instead of 5 stars is because the water heater was a little damaged, & the serviceman didn't notice it til it was out of the box...I'm sure it won't affect the functionality of the heater, just cosmetic. I will always use them for our future plumbing jobs....
This company has done work for us in the past with our sewage pump so we were happy to call them. They were very professional and responsive, calling when they were on their way, etc. All the best customer service you would expect. Unfortunately, the technician wasn't familiar with the way my sewage pump worked and made an error by cutting a pipe he did not need to cut. But he repaired it and did not charge for the extra time this error incurred. Sadly, a few weeks later, this pipe began leaking at the place where the first technician cut it. I called and a different technician came out. It was a Saturday and because my pipe was a non-standard size he had to go to a store that was only open M-F. So he came back a couple of days later and repaired the pipe. These second 2 visits were no charge, as they should be since it was their error to begin with. Both technicians were very friendly and professional. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work.

So not quite prepared to give five stars but very close. Plumbers showed up on time, that was a good thing. The senior plumber was able to track down the main leak quickly, and under adverse working conditions (cold and wet) another bonus. Additional leaks were found under the home as well, unfortunately I was not quoted proper pricing or policy by the junior Plumber on the job. This error led to a phone call by one of the owners of the company to here my side of the story. The conversation resulted in the owner refunding me partial payment, based on my original quote for the job, an apology, and a guarantee from the owner that if given a 2nd chance to get it correct the next time, they would earn the five star rating from me. With all of the plumbing problems I have had with this sorry POS house of mine, it is just a matter of time before I call back The Plumbing and Drain Co. in Sumner. I owe them a second chance and look forward to doing business with them again after how I was treated. I just read that over, how often have you heard someone say they look forward to doing business with a plumber???
