Best Garage Door Installation in Phoenix AZ

Called them Wednesday for sone front door work on Monday, 5 days out. They had to coordinate with a tenant, which they assured me they would do.

Friday afternoon arrives and the tenant has heard nothing. I contact "Response" Crew at 4:30 and nobody was there to answer the phone. I guess they knock off early on Friday's during the busiest time of the year?

So they never followed up and knock off early. Maybe change your name to Happy Hour Crue?  Motley is taken.

At least they got my credit card info and gate code. That's reassuring. What a joke. Do yourself a  favor and check Nextdoor for a handyman reference.

It was prior to COVID that I used Honest Handyman Services, but it was easy working with this company. My experience was good, they were prompt, professional and a good value for the the money.  I had two ceiling fans to replace and the job went smoothly.  Will definitely use their services again!

The guy showed up when he promised and did a great job! The cost was very reasonable and exactly what they quoted me. He even cleaned up the box and hauled off the old unit for us. Thanks.

My regular handymen were out of town for the holiday. My second option was to use an alternative contractor but they were booked for two months. The third option was to use Dream Builder. They came out, review the list of items, gave us a pricey quote and said they weren't able to start until after the holiday. At that point, I should've said no thank you and wait for our handymen. Instead, we moved forward with Dream Builder.

Overall, they did a poor job. One of the two guys shouldn't be in this business. He didn't know how to sand or stain wood. Both were done against the grain. In addition, he used all the stain as if it was paint. I had to strip it, resand and restain. Oh, money well spent....

As for Elvis, he didn't texture the wall and, when we asked, he told us that it'll look textured once the paint dried. Are you kidding me?! You can see that it's not textured when it's wet.

One positive thing out of this job was finding out a wire was dead so we asked Elvis to ground it to be safe.

Eddie and his team were on time, professional, reasonably priced and finished the job in a timely matter. We had a water feature repaired and sealed with Eddie. His work was honestly better than the contractor that made the water feature. I work in real estate and will surely be using Eddie and referring Eddie to anyone looking for a home repair.

We needed some damaged roof tiles replaced, and Stan did a great job. Just from a picture, he noticed two other tiles that were damaged which I hadn't even noticed before then. Keen eye for detail, which I really liked. Very reasonable, thoughtful, and patient with all my questions.

I've been using Eddy for the last few years and I highly recommend him.  He's worked on multiple projects big and small for me, with rental properties, selling a home and buying a new home that needed a lot of work, and I even flew him out to the east coast to work on a bathroom renovation at a vacation home.  He's very meticulous with his work and always makes sure you're happy with the results.  Very trustworthy and reasonable with his rates, much better than other handymen I have used before.

I've been using Tim & his crew for years! We've always been super happy with the quality of his workmanship and communication.  Trustworthy, honest & punctual.

Don't hire this guy to do baseboards. He was at my house for 5 hours doing an amount of work I could have done in 2 hours with a hand saw. He would cut one board, go outside, cut it again... Repeat.... He cut the boards around. My fireplace incorrectly. Huge gaps between the board and the wall. I asked him to fix it. He didn't bring the correct equipment for the job... Couldn't nail the baseboards to the wall even. Claims he offered to come back and attach them, that's news to me. Waste of money. Now I have to pay someone to come fix all the boards that he didn't attach to the the wall properly and finish the job that would have taken him weeks to actually finish at the rate he was moving. He discovered that I had two different size boards and when he informed me, I ran and grabbed a hammer and chisel to remove them immediately. Definitely didn't take 30 mins...and there was a bunch of work still to be done at the other end of the room. No need to wait for me. Lesson learned. When a handyman charges by the hour... Run.  BTW, my dogs were upstairs for 4 hours. I let them downstairs to go outside. Claims my dogs ripped the boards off the wall. Did my dogs cut them incorrectly as well??

If it was possible to give a minus...I would. Kent took advantage of my elderly neighbor and charged her $600 to paint the ceiling of a carport and then did a HORRIBLE job. I would NOT recommend him for anything. My next call will be to the TV stations to get the message out.

BEWARE: I hired David with "Mohave Leveling" to level an addition on my mobile home and add additional supports underneath. He requested a deposit of 20% for materials which is always a risk but I proceeded and sent the deposit. Once he received  the deposit He immediately disappeared, would not respond to countless calls and texts. At the time of this review he has still not responded or made it right, if he does I will edit this review
