I was a homeowner with a problem. A skunk had burrowed under the concrete slab of our home and left a big hole. After calling multiple area foundation specialists and pumping companies, I finally found Scott at Action Pumping.

Every other company blew me off. It was either too small a job or they wanted to charge an arm-and-a-leg. One company even wanted me to rent (and work) the pump! Scott actually took the time to talk with me - assumed I knew nothing about concrete pumping (which I don't!) and walked me through the entire process. Both Scott and the concrete showed up on time and without incident.

Action Pumping sold me on their customer experience and Scott's personal touch. They weren't the cheapest nor were they the most expensive...but even if they were, the customer experience would be worth every cent.

Another FINE JOB, Joey!  This year Joey Hale epoxied our back patio and front porch.  In 2021 he did our garage and we were so impressed with his work (see previous review), that we asked for another estimate on the patio and porch in 2022.  We selected our colors but weren't ready to proceed until fall of 2022  Well, that didn't work out because Joey got so busy with other jobs.  This spring I reached out to him once again, and again he had a full schedule with only a couple of options for the month of April.  We grabbed one of those options.  This week Joey did the job and as in 2021, it looks amazing.   The photos show the work before the final polyurethane coat was added.  As in 2021, Joey did not disappoint.  As is his custom, he was on time, prep the job, and did all the work himself, in 3 days.  On the last day, he asked if I had exterior trim touch-up paint as there were spots along different areas of the stem wall where the products had gotten, due to high winds.  My first response was, Don't worry Joey, I'll touch it up over the summer.  He's such a perfectionist, that wasn't what he wanted.  Fortunately, I had a can of touch-up paint and Joey went around the entire job, front and back and painted the stem wall.  It all looks amazing!  I know this young man is getting busier and busier because his work is second to none.  If you're looking to get your garage or outdoor living space epoxied, I recommend you get your bid from Joey now because there will be a longer wait time then in the past.  That is actually a good thing for Joey and it speaks to his exceptional work and customer satisfaction.   It also means he is so sought after because of his fantastic skill and his exemplary work ethic.  Did I mention that he's very professional and pleasant as well.  Don't hesitate to call Joey.  For the record, I was never asked to write a review.  Not now or in 2021.  I just feel it is so important to get the word out when there are young folks trying to build a business and especially when they do a SUPERB job every time!

We had our covered patio extended by Brooks Built and it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. They were very upfront on costs and process of the entire project and they delivered with exactly as expected. They provided great communication throughout the process with picture updates, texts, emails... really not certain they could have done any better in any of the aspects. They cleaned up after themselves which was important to me, not to mention the most important part the extended patio project... the patio looks great and looks as though it was there from the beginning of the home being built. Thanks again guys.

I can not say enough about Gray and their work! I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. It's so hard to find someone trustworthy that isn't trying to nickel and dime you now a days, not only did Grey give us a great price but he was more then willing to help with any questions or suggestions I needed. Will definetly be using in the future for any other needs, thank you!

Daniel came once to service my yard and told me I needed service every 4 weeks. He never showed up again, all the new plants and flowers he installed died and weeds are overgrown everywhere.
I called after 5 weeks and he said he would come the following week. We set a day and time to which he blew off 3
times after repeated texts saying he eas on the way.
This company is unreliable. Do not hire.

We just had our floor done yesterday! It looks amazing! We had Brett, Dallas and Steven come out. 3 hard working young men that did a great job. They also were very informative and made sure we were happy before they left. Thanks all!

Never showed up for the consultation. Also did not message. Unfortunate, because he was very responsive on yelp when I first inquired.

These guys are awesome!  The company they run is so innovative and very eco friendly.  I had some packaging foam that I never know what to do with and always hate just throwing it away to forever sit in a landfill.  I found Eco Building Systems online through homeforfoam.com.  I called ahead and they came out to help unload the foam.  I had interactions with three different employees and all three were so very positive and I could tell they enjoy what they do.  They take the foam and create high quality building materials out of it.  They are not able to use all foam so be sure to call ahead of time to explain what you have and schedule a drop off.  Thanks for what you do EBS!

Bait and switch
Called yesterday was quoted for 1/2 minus for %25.50/ton.
Called this morning to order and was told for 1/2 minus is
$36.50/ton.   An increase of almost $11/ton for 17 tons.  That
is $187 increase.  
They apologized for the misunderstanding.   What misunderstanding?
I verified the size yesterday.  They said yesterday, yes $25.50 for 1/2 minus.
They appear to be a bait and switch company.

They installed the turf about a year ago with a warranty. My turf now has indents all across the entire patch of turf and some parts even go half a foot deep. I've texted the owner multiple times and sent him pictures he said everything would be covered by warranty and he would check it out. I've reached out to him 3 times since then and still haven't heard anything back.

I am an older woman managing a house alone. I was tired of paying to have leaks repaired in an old irrigation system. I requested estimates from two companies for the re-piping of my irrigation system to replace the flex tubing with PVC. Phillip was responsive, fairly priced, did a great job and didn't try to oversell me on options. He patiently explained the system and installation. He also did a seasonal clean up for me. I highly recommend him. He knows his stuff and has integrity.

Kent's team did a great job on my bathtub remodel! They fixed a plumbing issue with my tub and did a beautiful job with the tile and shower nook. This was my first rental remodel and Kent was extremely patient with me in explaining everything and answering all of my questions. Kent also helped me get all my interior walls skimcoated to get rid of the ugly knockdown texture and popcorn ceiling. Kent's bid is very clear and breaks down the cost upfront which I appreciated. Overall, great quality work!

Herb pressure washed my entire street and cul de sac.  He was right on time on the appointed day.  He Did a fantastic job.  I would use him again.

Called to have some grading work done and he was able to walk my property and get me a quote. Then he blew me off 2 appointments in a row and he didn't even realize he used the same excuse both times (woke up sick) but still no call to let me know he wasn't coming and on the third no show he decided he didn't want to come to Holbrook anymore. UNPROFESSIONAL.

Your reply is hilarious. Why do you assume I can't afford it??? I thought it was a good price. You're the one who made excuses and didn't even call when you weren't going to show up. That's OK I got All Custom Exteriors to do it. Don't make excuses for your incompetence.

Went there to re-wire a medium size chandelier. They kept me waiting for 20 min. A customer was there talking without a mask. They brought the lamp with the wrong sockets on it. I told them to change the sockets and they agreed. They did not give me a timeline. I left and went to Home Depot where I could find bulbs for the sockets they had installed on the lamp. I went back to the store and told them that I would accept the chandelier with the wrong sockets but asked for a discount. They kept me waiting for 1/2 hour while one employee was just staring at the wall. A homeless was inside without a mask. In the end, after complaining about the wait, they brought the chandelier to me and told me that they could not give me a discount but could replace the sockets then and there. I had already bought bulbs for the new sockets so I declined their offer. I asked them why they did not replace them the first time I came. They charged me 600 dollars for re-wiring and cleaning a medium size chandelier. Crooks and thieves. Not going back ever. Place has just changed ownership and it shows.
