Why Envirogreen Landscape Design? Our #1 goal is to create a WOW backyard!! We want friends, family and neighbors to ask, Who did your landscape project? First, we don't sub-contract out our work - you will notice many landscaping companies will hire 3rd parties to complete landscape installation tasks, whereas nearly everything we do is done in-house, including gas/electrical lines, demolition, etc. Secondly, we are very creative with innovative 3-D designs and up-to date products. New travertine, pavers, stones and other hardscape items are continually coming to the landscape market and we make sure to stay up to date on the newest products. We offer state-of-the- art 3D design photos of the landscape plan, which allows the client to see what the project will look like before we start with installation. We specialize in installation and configuration of pavers, travertine, custom firepit/water features, BBQ Islands, artificial turf, outdoor kitchens and entertainment areas, courtyards, shade structures and have a vast knowledge of plants/cacti/tree placements. We strive to collectively create unique and imaginative landscape designs with our clients, all while providing the utmost professionalism in our service to you. Established in 2001.
We have been serving the Scottsdale, North Phoenix and Cave Creek area for over 20 years. Having been in the industry for this length of time we have seen all different aspects of landscape designs. We take our experience and apply our ideas/knowledge into our design process. A majority of our crew members have been with us since the beginning. A large percentage of our business is referrals so we feel that our work is exceptional with some clients going on their 3rd and 4th landscape projects with us. I was building a new home on 1/3rd of an acre, and I needed a competent professional to help design and then install a complete landscape package. I had made a few phone calls, and was extremely disappointed by what I was hearing. Companies were too busy, and I was hardly excited about their level of competence and the lack of commitment to tackle the job I was describing.

I kept searching the internet, and stumbled upon Envirogreen. After reading their stellar reviews, I gave them a call. I was greeted professionally, and I scheduled an appointment to meet at my job site, which at the time was an empty lot. Call them early on in your project to get on the schedule, because these guys are busy. It's worth the wait.

I met with the owner, Grayson. He was great to work with and he listened closely to what I was describing. A design concept was started, and through 3-D drawings we kept on revising until we reached the concept I was happy with. Sean also helped put these designs together, so shout out to him. My design took numerous revisions, which were all part of the package and price quoted. The drawings were great for my HOA submittal, which was approved on the first try.

My house was completed in May 2022, and Envirogreen was ready to go. Every day, 6 days per week for an entire month, the crew was on-site working their tails off in the summer heat. Crew leader Abraham was phenomenal, and his crew was one of the hardest working groups I have ever seen. Owner Grayson was out to the job site every other day to review the work with me and see if there was anything I wanted done differently. We did make a couple changes on the fly, and everything worked out perfectly

The final product is phenomenal, and I could not be happier with the job that was completed in a timely and competent manner. I want to mention the drainage plan Envirogreen came up with, because that is hugely important. When the monsoon rains come, the last thing you want is a flooded yard or water up against your foundation. My yard drains perfectly, front and back. Envirogreen is top-notch, and I highly recommend them.

Sean and his crew did a phenomenal job remodeling our backyard this past summer. This review is overdue but we've been too busy enjoying our luxurious new yard!

We have received so many compliments and highly recommend Sean! Sean is very responsive throughout the process and did an amazing job designing. The installation crew showed up on time every day until project was done. I've seen projects in neighborhood when workers show up in between projects. Not the case here. They manage things well and address issues promptly. In the end we got exactly what we wanted: our dream backyard!

After I moved into a new home I had a completely blank slate to work with. I picked Envirogreen, taking my next-door neighbor's recommendation. I have no regrets after hiring them. They put in a built-in counter and barbecue as well as a beautiful water feature, that was custom designed. The way they leveled my backyard, makes for easy cleaning that drains well.

Sean had some really great ideas and he has a wonderful computer program where you can see what your yard will look like before-hand, in 3-D.

I would highly recommend using Envirogreen. You will be so happy and Sean stands behind his work. I had a couple glitches with my fountain and he kept coming back till it was right.

We started the process by getting there quotes, and Envirogreen was the only company that could do the entire job (travertine pavers, pergola, fire pit, jacuzzi, landscaping, irrigation, and lighting). We hired Sean and his terrific crew last year in midst of Pandemic. We had quite a few landscapers come to help us, but he was the only one with unique ideas to compliment what we already had as well as create a contemporary oasis in a small area. We finally agreed that paying for his plans was money well spent, and it truly was! We love the patio expansion, new planting boxes built in to match existing ones and use of colorful plants that we don't normally see. Sean patiently worked with us till we got it right and we couldn't be happier. His crew has been super responsive to a few hiccups along the way. We can't say enough good things about his ideas, crew and final look.

I highly recommend Envirogreen Landscaping! They completed a large and complex backyard remodel for us in 2019. Gray was open to any suggestions we offered to change the design. Gary and his team were professional throughout the entire process. The crew arrived on time every day and worked hard. Abraham and his crew are priceless. Gray has been responsive to ALL of our questions regarding preservation of our plants and cleaning our travertine. We were so impressed by their work that we are having them design our front yard!

Definitely as good as it gets! I could not be happier with the job Sean and his crew did on our backyard remodel. We were blown away at every step of our project from the 3d renditions to the final product. Our backyard was a disaster and now it's my favorite place in the whole world :)

I found Sean at Envirogreen through Yelp after a previous landscaper skipped town. Sean and his team did a fantastic job on our backyard landscaping. I gave him some of my vision of what we would like in our yard, but wanted to let the expert (Sean) do their job in making our yard look great.

Unlike previous landscapers who would just come out and draw lines/spray paint in your yard, Sean carefully plots out everything and creates 3D renderings of what the finished product would end up as. He was also perfectly reasonable with working with our budget. There was absolutely no pressure to max our budget whatsoever with unnecessary items.

After seeing our renderings, I was shocked to see that our yard could possibly look that good so I was really anxious to see if his team could actually pull it off. And to our surprise, the finished product looked even better than the renderings.

I would absolutely recommend Sean and his team to anyone. He did such a fantastic job in our backyard that we are also having him redesign the front!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Sean and his employees gave us our dream backyard and front yard! Not sure what I like best... hot tub surround, gazebo with the wood burning fireplace, all the beautiful gates and trellises, replacing most of our rock with turf, grass and pavers, the new walkway with planters leading to our front door, or all the landscape lighting? All of it works so well together. Sean is a landscape savant! This year has been rough, but our oasis of a yard has given this family some fun and space we needed! Thanks again Envirogreen!

Sean and guys did an amazing job on our very blank canvas. Sean listened to what our family wanted and wished for on the project. Then they made it all happen.

Sean creates works of art, we've trusted this company with our front and Now backyard projects. Both were large and scary to anticipate. However the results have been amazing. With great hard workers and a passion and eye for design we've been amazed with every project. We waited 2 years to have our backyard completed in our new build home and are SO GLAD we did. We contacted Envirogreen because of their perfect ratings on Yelp. We were a little skeptical at first, but quickly learned the reviews were spot on.

Grayson contacted us promptly and set realistic expectations for communication and availability as they happened to be very busy at the moment. He communicated with us EXACTLY when he said he would. He was extremely concerned about creating a realistic budget with us for our project while making sure the design didn't suffer. Most importantly, he wanted to make sure that we were completely happy with the renderings and budget proposal before starting the job.

The crew was also amazing. They were very hard working and paid so much attention to the details of the project. They were kind and professional, and wanted to make sure that we were happy with their work. It was very inspiring to see them in action.

Towards the end of our project, Grayson sat down with us to choose the plants. We thought we didn't care about them, but he opened our eyes to the artistic value they had in design. It was so much fun seeing what we could do.

We cannot imagine working with anyone else. Envirogreen is a very special company that produces quality work at reasonable prices that exceeds expectations. We feel our review doesn't even do justice to our experience working with Grayson and his crew.

We really enjoyed meeting Sean during our design process. First, he's just a great guy..the kind of guy you would enjoy working with on any project. He did everything he said he would do and came up with a beautiful design for our backyard. The cutting edge software they use really made us feel like we were standing in the already finished project from the start...really cool. Lastly, Sean really packed a lot into our design within the budget we had established.

If you're considering any type of landscape project, do yourself a favor and give Envirogreen an opportunity.

Top notch all the way. The best contracting service I've ever worked with. They are very talented in designing, demo, clean-up, communication, quality of work AND they run a great business. Very responsive, great at listening to your needs and working with your schedule. We had a huge backyard project with a blank canvas to work with. We couldn't be happier with the work that Gray and his team did at our home in North Scottsdale. Gray really knows his stuff and picked out the perfect assortment of shrubs and cacti to give our yard the wow factor that we were hoping for. In addition to the plantings and placement of boulders, Envirogreen installed completely new irrigation and landscape lighting systems. The project came in on time and within the budget that we had agreed to. The after sale service to make a couple of small changes was very prompt as well. If you need landscape work, don't hesitate to hire Envirogreen!

Sean and his crew just completed our front and backyard landscaping. We had a dirt backyard in our new home, and we wanted both our existing front yard and back yard to be amazing. We got a few bids before deciding on Envirogreen, but trusted they would exceed our expectations based on all the great reviews. Sean is an expert at seeing the big picture, and he was able to work step by step with us to make sure everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. He asked the right questions to uncover what we truly wanted, and then his team delivered beautifully on the design! We had another company install the pool, and in comparison the level of service and work was not even in the same ball park as Envirogreen. Sean personally was on site multiple times during the install, and called regularly to make sure we were happy along the way. A nice touch is the crew actually works directly for Envirogreen, which is good, as most companies sub out the individual work. They do it all in-house. One major item which really swayed us was the detailed drainage plan they came up with to get water off of our elevated hillside lot. The topper was an incredible patio wall that they custom designed and installed with a built-in bar. They used the same stack stone from our pool wall and travertine for the bar top, and ran electrical and a tv mount. It looks amazing! He even submitted full drawings and a proposal to our HOA for approval ahead of the work being started. If you are looking for a solid professional landscape design company, that can get the job done the right way then look no further than Sean and his team at Envirogreen.

Where is the 6th star button? This company truly deserves to be a 6 star review. Sean did our neighbors house and we watched him for several days meticulously sculpt our neighbors front yard into perfection. Moon Valley had done Phase I but when it was time to do Phase II we knew Sean was the one. His price is at least 30% lower then anyone. First of all, he and his crew showed up on the day they said they would. That's the 1st star! Sean has great ideas on the design. That's the 2nd star! They finished right on time. That's the 3rd star! His crew is pleasant and nice. That's the 4th star! His price is THE best by far. That's the 5th star! Sean turned our backyard into the resort we always wanted. That's the 6th star! Thank you Sean! We will refer you to everyone. We are so excited for Phase III when we build the guest house and finish our two acre masterpiece! Sean and his crew are BEYOND AMAZING! I turned my backyard (that was basically dirt) over to them, and they created a paradise in under 2 weeks. Sean came to my house, discussed what I would like, and he emailed me 3D drawings 2 days later with a quote. They installed turf, extended my patio, covered the old and new patio with pavers, designed a drainage system, installed a drip system for the plants, and added LED lighting. They also built a pergola. The cost was well below what I was anticipating. The final cost did NOT go over their estimate. Their work was meticulous and it ended up EXACTLY like the 3D drawings. They also raised my block fence, and replaced my old gate with a larger one. Sean was in constant contact with me during the process. If you are looking for any type of landscaping, I HIGHLY recommend this company. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

My experience with Envirogreen was like a great love story. It started with a tease and finished with a Happy Ending.
My husband and I have lived in our house for 30 years. We loved the complexity of living on a mountain side with a three level outdoor area but were NEVER able to use the most accessible area, the 11 feet by 70 feet first level. The original builder did not design this area with the homeowner in mind and for thirty years we used it as storage and a way to access the upper levels. Something needed to be done!
After soliciting design ideas from two companies I interviewed at the home show, I almost gave up on the idea that anything could really be done. But a Yelp search brought me to Envirogreen and Sean.
Here is where the love story took root. Sean, after seeing the property was initially reluctant to take on the project (the tease). I was heartbroken and not beyond begging. After a few visits, and multiple promises that I would make it a fun job site, he relented and concocted a fantastic plan. Due to mutual crowded calendars, we decided to wait five months to start the project. This led to a multitude of emotions; anticipation, fear, excitement and constantly questioning whether this was the right thing to do. Sean was patient and kind throughout this period, taking my many calls and requests for reassurance.
Finally, we took the plunge. The job was a well-choreographed dance. Every night just the right materials would show up for the next day's project and the mess of the day's demolition was whisked away. If I made a suggested change, it was immediately executed, leading me to text Sean how happy I was that my every wish was his command. Abraham, the job's foreman was dynamite, and although the space was tight, he had just the right people there every day, solved every problem and was a pleasure to deal with.
The end result is spectacular. Not only did I gain useable space, but the look created by these talented people is beyond fantastic. I can't wait to find another project for this outstanding company. Happy Ending - Guaranteed!

Sean and his team did an amazing job with our patio wall. Sean took our idea and perfected it down to details we hadn't even thought of. The final product is truly a work of art. We had your basic patio with the pillars and wanted to create a wall with a fire feature and tv. The team was very knowledgeable and precise. The reviews, the landscaping pictures, and the whole 6th star comments are absolutely so accurate it's not even funny! I can't express how easy, painless, fun, and exciting this backyard project was with Sean and his team... I was beyond stressed out trying to find a qualified, loyal, trustworthy, and committed team to work with as I've had terrible experiences in the past... But seriously, you don't need to look any further! You've found them - I can't begin to explain how lucky I was to find a team like Envirogreen Landscape & Design.

From the start of Sean coming out to our first appointment on time, very professional, not pushy AT ALL, and extremely knowledgeable - I immediately trusted him. I told him one time exactly what I was looking for and the rest is history. He went back to the office, drew up some renderings (very quickly) and knocked it out of the park. However, me being me, I was indecisive, had him change the renderings up a couple different times and he never ONCE complained... took his time to do exactly what I was looking for. Sean would then make positive comments and come with great ideas back to me based on his experience and knowledge. At the end of the week when they were all finished (which I can't believe how hard and fast these guys work)... the backyard looked IDENTICAL to the renderings and I can't tell you all how happy I am with the finished result... This is seriously one of the best teams I have ever had the chance to work with and without a doubt recommend them to anyone. Without a doubt, best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Let me start with this: Five stars isn't enough! I read all the great reviews and interviewed Sean and two other companies. He was pleasantly low-key and I liked his use of 3-D computer modeling. We liked his design ideas very much. We could have gone with a lower priced bid, but we went with Sean based on his ideas and the reviews. The outcome exceeded our expectations. Sean is excellent to work with and he was open to our comments and revisions, and we learned that Sean is very creative and has an excellent eye. He added a number of small touches (all with our approval) that really made the final result pop. You will probably have to wait a bit because he is in great demand but, believe me, it's worth the wait.

These guys are awesome! My older home had pretty ratty landscaping when we moved in, so in 2013 Envirogreen completely re-landscaped my front yard, and last month I had them re-landscape the back. From start to finish they were easy to work with, communicated well and kept me up to date, and never made a promise they couldn't keep.

For both yards, I gave them detailed plans for how I wanted the yard to look, so I can't comment as to their ability to put a plan together. However, Grayson took the time to carefully review my plans with me, asked a lot of questions to clarify and nail down the details, and offered suggestions here and there for ways to improve my ideas. He provided detailed quotes, and priced out a lot of options so that I could choose exactly which features I wanted to match my budget.

The first time I used Envirogreen, I also received quotes from 3 other landscaping companies. Envirogreen's prices were in the middle of the range, but I eventually chose them because they seemed to offer the best combination of price and service. The second time, I didn't bother with competing quotes because I was very happy with the results in my front yard. When it came time to schedule the job, Grayson was realistic on starting dates - he let me know that they were busy and would not be able to start for a number of weeks, but offered a tentative starting date, which he later stuck to.

Both times, Envirogreen completed the job promptly (within a week for each yard). Their attention to detail and workmanship are excellent. They also went above and beyond the quoted work on both occasions. As one example, in my back yard, I originally asked for rock in the rear part only, but Envirogreen added rock to my side yard as well, which really completed the design in a way that I didn't realize I needed.

Overall, I highly recommend Envirogreen. They deliver high-quality results for a good price and with excellent service. What else could you ask for?

Sean and his crew were awesome!!! Very professional and on time for every single appt/work. The crew cleaned up the yard every day and would always go the extra mile in work and design. We recently had Envirogreen Landscaping remove our grass and replace it with gravel and desert plants. We were very happy with their professionalism. They did a great job, worked fast and cleaned up everything when they were done. We would definitely recommend them.
