He was able to come out the next day and had the issue fixed in no time. He was onetime for the appointment, professional and efficient. He even followed up next day to thank me for choosing him and to make sure everything was good. A+++ service.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Alpha. After getting a few outrageous quotes, I contacted alpha via project messaging on yelp. Not only did Vanessa contact me immediately, her tech (J) came out the same day in under an hour and was able to fix it in the same amount of time for a mere fraction of the cost. Even better, I got zero lies about how my door was on its last leg and a disaster waiting to happen, or that my how would complain about the fix because it would still show signs of damage like I did with the other companies. Instead, I see zero evidence that there was ever a dent and the door functions better than it did before! And all of that with an added year warranty on the work. Alpha proved everyone else a liar! I could not be more grateful! Just when you think honest companies didn't exist anymore....sometimes you're blessed enough to find a gem like Alpha Commercial. Skip the quotes- hire these folks! Roderic was simply amazing. I sent out several estimate requests (RFP) via the Yelp tool, and Roderic responded quickly and concisely, providing a clear estimate for the two garage door opener models they had available (the 1/2 HP and the 3/4 HP versions), as well as his schedule availability.  I had requested the appointment well in advance (about a month), and doublechecked again as the date got closer to confirm we were still on his schedule (we were).  Compared to the other responses I received, Roderic's response to my RFP was the quickest and most thorough, and his price was competitive with the other bids I received.  

The job itself was pretty straight forward - just changing out a very old garage door opener on a light, single small garage door.  The older model did not contain the security feature of the safety sensors, so this was something I had specifically requested (and came with the package that Roderic had to offer).  We set up the appointment and just waited for the install to occur, scheduled the day prior to my arrival (as this is a vacation property so we do not live here full time).

On the day of the install, we had a hiccup (my fault) with not having communicated to them the door access code.  Plus, when they were able to enter the premises, the door into the garage was apparently locked by one of our previous guests (another hiccup).  I was in meetings the entire morning so was not able to answer Roderic's calls immediately when they ran into these issues.  Roderic was extremely calm and patient with us, and the team ended up being able to get in and install the product.  They were finished in a matter of several hours.  When we got in, everything worked perfectly and they left the space clean.  They programmed in the code we wanted, and removed the old keypad and other equipment.

I am extremely pleased with the product, and the new openers even have a WIFI feature allowing us to use an app to control opening and closing the door from anywhere! Technology these days!

The biggest thumbs up to this company is Roderic's responsiveness.  We had several Yelp message exchanges, and he responded fairly immediately (even when messages were sent fairly late at night).  Kudos to Roderic for his great service. I highly recommend this company.

We needed someone to install our replacement automatic gate opener and they promptly were able to come out to the house and get the job done quickly and reasonably.  Scott the owner came out personally and I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism.  I am keeping the business close at hand as this is a company that you want to use whenever a job arises that they can do - and to recommend to friends.

Brian at Grease Monkey Garage Door saved our Christmas! We arrived back to our house at 6pm on Christmas Eve to find that we were locked out. The power (and backup battery) to the garage door opener were out, and the garage door was the ONLY way to get into the house. Before breaking a window to get in, I made a desperate call to see if anyone might have a better idea...

To my surprise, Brian actually picked up the phone at 6:30pm on Christmas Eve! I explained the situation and, even though I heard children in the background and he was obviously enjoying a Christmas Eve with his family, he told me he would be right over.

This guy cared enough to answer his phone, take time away from his own Christmas, and help another family in need. Brian is a top notch professional, and an overall good guy. I highly recommend!

My garage door springs went out, I needed fast reliable service. That wouldn't hurt the pocket. Great Doors & Gates was the best choice. They were very knowledgeable, reasonably priced. And they weren't trying to sell me products that I didn't need. My door and opener were also serviced. I got the full service! I'm an extremely satisfied customer. Any garage door needs in the future, I know who I'm going to. And who I will refer when friends and family need garage door services!

I called on 19 Sept 2013 at 1500, 15 mins after my tenant dropped the bombshell on me stating the garage door buckles, and asked if they could have someone come out to give me an estimate, and to install a strut on my door. Unfortunately, they were booked and could not come out until the next day, and I had an early a.m. Flight back to the Bay Area.

Nat was friendly, personable, and told me to call back whenever I can, and he would do whatever was needed to resolve my door issues.

When I returned back to CA., I called Door Doc again and asked Nat to send a tech to my rental in Surprise whereby he could meet my relative who would remain on site to oversee the repairs.

David came over, and I spoke with him over the phone. He was professional, efficient, and explained what the issues were: two struts to secure two cracked panels, one additional spring to compensate for the additional weight of the new struts, one new hinge, and that should take care of the problem.

In 45 minutes, or less, David was done, and he stated the door was now in tip top condition(he checked everything else!)

The bottom line: Another company  (who shall remain unnamed) 'might' have been cheaper, BUT Door Doc FOLLOWS through, is  possibly alittle more costly, BUT I got what I needed done, have peace of mind, the staff was courteous and professional, and  Door Doc CARES what experiences the customers have with them!  The adage 'You get what you pay for' is still very true today! I got BOTH a good product, and excellent service. Shame on any business that would provide anything less than that! Thanks again, Door Doc, and staff members Nat and David!
