Quick and professional!

Great work and they came out same day.
I called 8 different places and no one answered. The debit was a Sunday so I let that go a bit !
But these guys answered and responded immediately.
The price was fair and the job was done quickly and correctly.!

Thanks guys keep up the great work

Fernando was amazing! He was prompt, friendly, and efficient. He changed out our motor and sensors. He even reprogrammed our car and keypad remotes. Highly recommend! They were able to come the same day I called.

We had an outstanding experience with Az Garage Door Doctor from start to finish. Our motor began to fail after 11 years and was hit or miss on whether it would open the garage door. Making the problem worse was when it closed it slammed the door down nearly breaking the windows. I did not have to be a professional to know the time had come to put it out of its misery. Turns out we had a model that had been discontinued and not many companies could service it. As part of my research I found Az Garage Door Doctor was able to service and repair our system after speaking with a knowledgeable representative and they were even able to come out the next day!

Our technician, Matt, showed up exactly on time and was extremely patient; addressing all my questions, showing me the hardware and mechanical issues causing the problem, and putting together several options ranging from repair to replacement. There was no sales pressure, no rush to sign me up, and above all, no herding me to a particular alternative which I really appreciated. In my opinion, that is the sign of an honest company.

Once I had decided what I wanted to do, there was no doubt in my mind that this was the company I was going to use. They completed the work in a timely manner, had all the parts and materials so there was no delay or the need for a return visit, and cleaned up the work site before leaving. Everything works perfectly, and they warrantied their work.

We are very happy with our choice, the professional way we were treated, and most important, with our problem being identified and fixed.  We absolutely are satisfied customers and recommend Az Garage Door Doctor in general  and our technician Matt specifically.

Dispatched 30 mins from call, 40 mins from arrival job was complete.  And....programmed my doors to both of my cars and oiled the second garage door.

Steve did great work, price was reasonable, and was probably one of the simplest, painless home service I can recall.

Excellent experience!!  Highly recommend!

I will never use this company again. I paid double of what other companys charge to replace springs. This company charges a $65 Service fee for all calls. Any company I've ever used  waives the service fee if you have them complete the job NOT this company. They charge a $65 service fee plus labor. I was charged $65 plus $125 = $190 just in fees alone plus parts. That's crazy... Other companys charge $140 for 2 springs replaced and that includes labor and warranty. It's hard to swallow that I got ripped out by this company. Never again.

Called when my 22 year old system started misbehaving, They gave me an immediate appointment. Matt showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the motor, drive, and found a solution to get my older model cars' Homelink work and setup everything in perfect working order before leaving. Would recommend them anytime.

I've used Door Doctor for about 10 years for both my personal home and rental properties.  I've always been very impressed with their service and professionalism.

The garage door on my personal property is about 25 years old and started showing its age.  Specifically, the door began to taco and crack the metal.  This could have required a full replacement of the door, which would have been fairly expensive and wouldn't have matched my other garage door (due to age).  Ryan did a great job of explaining the options and was able to make a repair to the door that will allow more years of use before needing to be replaced.

Very pleased with the service.  Thanks!

I would highly recommend this company for your garage door needs! They came recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. Because my issue was bigger than I originally thought, I had several of their service men at my house over several days. They were all extremely professional, polite and I felt honest. Brian, the door installer, was top notch and continued working to solve a problem that was not his area of expertise, long after many people would have given up and had me wait another day or two to be able to use my door. This is my first door purchase but I feel the price was very fair and the service was exemplary.

I woke up and discovered that the spring on my double door (I have a three car garage) was broken.  I searched AngliesList and settled on this company. They said their hours were 12:00am to 11:30pm so I called at 5am and, much to my surprise, someone answered the phone!  I mentioned the coupon I could buy for a better discount and was told that I could do that but they wouldn't be able to come out for 2 days. I needed to get a car out of that side so I scheduled service for that day.  They said they would show up between 11:00 and 1:00 and they were true to their word.

The tech was professional and started the conversation off by telling me that the manager told him to honor the discount coupon even though he didn't have to - needless to say I was delighted.  He removed the single spring on the double door and replaced it with a double spring. He also replaced the 20+ year old rollers with new ones that have sealed bearings.  As we were chatting I pointed out the 23 year old opener on the single door and asked if he had time to replace it. He did and he gave me what I believe was an OK price (not the deal of the year but reasonable).

After he was finished (about 3 hours total time) he explained everything to me and talked me through the process of linking my car's HomeLink to the new opener - he would have done it for me but that car wasn't on the property.

Everything works perfectly and the doors have never been so quiet.  He didn't try to upsell me on anything which I appreciated (a neighbor had a broken spring and wound up paying over $2,000 for a new door, tracks, spring, rollers, and opener with a different company).

They replaced my broken garage door torsion spring. No up charge for coming on a Sunday afternoon, which was also during Labor day weekend. The tech wasted no time in replacing my broken spring. He checked out my entire door at no additional charge. I had gotten quotes from about 8 other door companies and in addition to being the only one that would come out on short notice, they were one of the more inexpensive options. Use these guys with confidence!

Got a quote for replacing garage door safety sensors of $85 for sensors and $85 for labor $170 + tax. Bought the parts at Lowes for $35 and YouTubed install instructions. Done in 20 minutes! Very high priced if you ask me!

When we found ourselves stuck with a garage door that wouldn't close on a Friday afternoon in the dead of summer, I figured I'd have to call a handful of service companies before I could find one that could come out the same day for less than an arm and a leg. The gal I spoke with told me that it looked like they were all booked up for the day but after I explained how we were in a bind (everything we own was being stored in our garage because we're in the middle of getting new flooring put in and therefore weren't even staying in the house), she told me she was going to make a call to see if someone could squeeze us in. The technician came in exactly the time frame she said they'd be there in and the cost was less than what I was quoted on the phone. I was worried about being taken for a ride because I desperately needed someone to come out asap and was calling in the late afternoon before a weekend. Arizona's Garage Door Doctor was our saving grace with their customer service and professionalism. I'll definitely call them the next time we need service!

Wish I cold give it 0. Dishonest company. Just want to make their money. Did not care about their customer at all. They did not do a great job fixing my garage. I have to called some other company and they fix the problem in 5 minutes. And they did not honor they service and their warranty time. Very very disgusted by this company.

Horrible service! We called because our garage door would only close when manually holding down the wall button. They came out said one of the wires on our sensor on the ground was bad, fixed it and the door was. working fine. The man then called his boss to let him know the issue had been resolved. Then he said he needed to lube our track and adjust the door speed (no idea why the door was working just fine) All of a sudden after fidgeting with the motor the door completely stopped working and he said we would need to replace the whole thing and attempted to charge us $700 for a new system! We said no and got a second opinion from another company(F&J's Az) who was able to fix the door after uncrossing the wires the man from door doctor had been moving around. This company is a scam! I would recommend calling elsewhere!

I had these guys over three times over the past four years - to replace both of our garage door openers, and to replace a broken spring.  Three different technicians, and all of them highly skilled, honest, and very helpful.  I will be using them for all such work, and encourage others to do the same.

This team is great. I had two other companies look at my installation issue and they could not figure it out. Arizona's Garage Door Doctor not only figured it out but did it within a couple hours at a very reasonable price.

These guys were great!  I had a bit of a last minute crisis the other morning.  After trying to get the door open by myself, I called them and they were able to come out and look at it within a couple hours.  I decided to replace the old door and opener, and they got it done that same afternoon.  I think I got lucky with scheduling that day, but they were awesome.  Polite, professional and very thorough.  Explained all my options to me and no pressure or upselling.  Great experience and highly recommend them!

I called on 19 Sept 2013 at 1500, 15 mins after my tenant dropped the bombshell on me stating the garage door buckles, and asked if they could have someone come out to give me an estimate, and to install a strut on my door. Unfortunately, they were booked and could not come out until the next day, and I had an early a.m. Flight back to the Bay Area.

Nat was friendly, personable, and told me to call back whenever I can, and he would do whatever was needed to resolve my door issues.

When I returned back to CA., I called Door Doc again and asked Nat to send a tech to my rental in Surprise whereby he could meet my relative who would remain on site to oversee the repairs.

David came over, and I spoke with him over the phone. He was professional, efficient, and explained what the issues were: two struts to secure two cracked panels, one additional spring to compensate for the additional weight of the new struts, one new hinge, and that should take care of the problem.

In 45 minutes, or less, David was done, and he stated the door was now in tip top condition(he checked everything else!)

The bottom line: Another company  (who shall remain unnamed) 'might' have been cheaper, BUT Door Doc FOLLOWS through, is  possibly alittle more costly, BUT I got what I needed done, have peace of mind, the staff was courteous and professional, and  Door Doc CARES what experiences the customers have with them!  The adage 'You get what you pay for' is still very true today! I got BOTH a good product, and excellent service. Shame on any business that would provide anything less than that! Thanks again, Door Doc, and staff members Nat and David!

I contacted this company after reading the Yelp review and have to recommend that people be careful!  I had ONE panel on my garage door that was slightly cracked and called Door Doctor out for an estimate.  I was shocked when the rep came out and said that 3 panels needed to be replaced and since I had to replace that many, I might as well go ahead and replace the whole door for $800!!!  After I questioned that, Randy backed down to replacing the just 3 panels for $550.  I called Anytime Garage Doors for a second opinion and yesterday they looked at it and said a strut over the cracked area would be sufficient and it would cost $99.00.  I recommend extreme caution with this company.  Always get a second opinion!

When my garage door broke after twenty years my wife called The Door Doctor. They came out the next day to give me an estimate. Robert was the tech and was very nice and not at all a pushy sales person. He seemed knowledgeable so I agreed to the price and set up an install date. A few days later Robert showed up and installed the new door and all seemed well. The next day the door started to not close properly. It would go about 2/3 down and then stick and pop back up. You could hear it sticking on the right side. Almost like a popping noise. I called the Door Doctor and they came out the next day. Again the technician was Robert. He was very polite and offered an apology for having to come back out. He made some adjustments and told me all was well. Two days later, same problem again. I know its not the opener. It is a fairly new unit and I never had any problems before. When I called back i was told about a note that the technician made on the paperwork about the rail of the opener being weak and I might in-cure a charge if they came back out. I opted out. I will call another company to come look at the door. At this point i would rather pay someone else than The Door Doctor. I am very unhappy and I am left with a door that I have to push down on to get it to close. My advise, call someone else.

I am a renter but this is the company who came out to fix the garage door.  Another company came out to give a 2nd opinion.  Door Doctor actually pushed the button, checked the batteries, manually lifted the door, showed me how to manually lock the garage door - you know, INSPECTED the door before giving the repair options.  He kept the options short, realizing I was the tenant and not the one to make the decisions.  Then they left, indicating they'd be in touch with the rental agency.  2nd opinion business comes out: person knocks, I answer.  He is not dressed professionally and there is no name tag.  Long pause.  I say, Who are you? [I'm expecting the garage door company, but this guy just looks like a solicitor.] Finally he introduces himself.  He comes in and proceeds to try to visit with me, get my dog to interact with him (my normally overly-friendly dog sat about 2 yards away, unmoving, and just stared at him), etc.  AWKWARD.  Finally goes out to the garage and lifts nary a finger.  He literally stood in the middle of the garage, did a 180 and told me the whole thing (springs, motor, etc.) needed to be replaced.  Then he kept trying to talk to me about all the different components of the garage door, what could/could not be replaced.  I must have told him 3 times that I'm the wrong person to talk to since I'm the tenant AND that the owner wanted to hear the information directly from HIM not from me.  I finally asked him to write the quote down.  He looked at me like I was stupid and then wrote it down on a generic form (no business name) using chicken scratch that is at least 50% illegible.  Thank God the homeowner went with Door Doctor!

Door Doctor...you'd think they went to medical school for the ridiculous amount they charge.  When I purchased this unit twoyears ago for $500-600 they ensured me I wouldn't have to worry about anything after tht it would be covered under full warranty.  Well....the keypad stops working and the light doesn't fully come on, only one side and even after changing the bulb it still didn't work so I call door doctor.  They charge $60 for the service call....$35 for parts and labor and get this...they used my 9 volt battery and my new light bulb!  They're here for all of 10 minutes.  The light socket was oxidized, not covered under warranty, the keypad won't last long in this heat and BTW, one year warranty.  Next time I need service work I won't be calling this Doctor...more than likely anything they come out to do won't be covered under the warranty. That was just a crock to con you into going with the more expensive unit upfront...in medical terms.....just another quack out there. Keeping looking elsewhere.
