Frank came when he said he would. It was around 4:30 PM on a Saturday. When he looked at the unit he saw that the chain had broken and that we needed a new spring. He gave us the price to repair our door. And since our motor was 15 years old, he gave us a price to replace the motor, repair the chain and replace the spring. I thought it was very reasonable. I asked him how long it would take and he said about 1.5 hours. I asked him if he wanted to spend the time now at 4:30 on a Saturday night. He said he wanted to take care of us and that he would fix everything that night. He stayed and by around 6:00 PM everything was in working order. Needless to say, we were very impressed.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Alpha. After getting a few outrageous quotes, I contacted alpha via project messaging on yelp. Not only did Vanessa contact me immediately, her tech (J) came out the same day in under an hour and was able to fix it in the same amount of time for a mere fraction of the cost. Even better, I got zero lies about how my door was on its last leg and a disaster waiting to happen, or that my how would complain about the fix because it would still show signs of damage like I did with the other companies. Instead, I see zero evidence that there was ever a dent and the door functions better than it did before! And all of that with an added year warranty on the work. Alpha proved everyone else a liar! I could not be more grateful! Just when you think honest companies didn't exist anymore....sometimes you're blessed enough to find a gem like Alpha Commercial. Skip the quotes- hire these folks! I contacted them through Yelp, asking if they could install a buzzer on our gate to alert us when it was open.  Roderic followed up reasonably quickly and said he'd be out between 8am and 9am on Wednesday (today) to look at the job and provide a firm quote.

As you can guess from the one star review, Roderic did not arrive between 8am and 9am on Wednesday, nor did he arrive at any other time throughout the day.  When I texted him at 8:57am saying are you still able to come out today?, I did not receive any sort of reply whatsoever.

Flat out unprofessional.

Scott was great!  I struggled to find someone who could service my gate openers because they are not the most popular brand around here!  Scott figured it our pretty quickly and had it fixed in no time - at a very reasonable price!  Nice to find a go to garage and gate service company!  Thanks Scott!

I hired Grease Monkey to do a large job with 3 custom sized garage doors. They came in the lowest between all my bids. They were on time and everything is perfect!

Confrontational encounter with Joshua Pettiette on August 1, 2022...at approximately 1:50 pm. Joshua arrived to check out my garage door. He had another person with him. This was a recall to try and diagnose the problem why the door had went out of balance. He had replaced both tension springs on 12/31/2021...but within a couple of months the door slowly started to go
off balance...I texted him  a video showing him the stress the opener was
going through trying to open the unbalanced door. and told him this had been going on for a couple of months.  His comment was I only hear the rollers., but the stress continued. In late July the stress on the opener got so bad that I disconnected it from the door and operated  the door manually. I sent him a couple of text and called him asking him to return. I told him that
both the local spring distributor, COOKSON and the door manufacturer, CLOPAY had indicated a totally different set of torsion springs for my particular door, different from the ones he had installed. He refused to return without charging me a service fee. I told him that the problem appeared to be either the wrong springs or a problem with the installation of the springs. When he arrived I tried to show him the emails from both companies indicating the proper springs but he refused to discuss the matter any further and said THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! He proceeded to work on the door adjusting the springs, etc.  and I did hear him say that there was a problem was a cable on the right side that he adjusted. He then looked at me and said I am going to charge you a service fee. I said ok but explain to me what he had done and why wasn't the problem solved when he first installed the springs. I told him that every time I tried to explain anything about his service he wouldn't listen and shut down any conversation. It was at this point that the other person with him looked at me and said SHUT THE F*** UP! At that point I felt threatened and dialed 911 telling the 911 operator that I was being threatened by a garage door service person inside my garage. She immediately dispatched 3 Sheriff's police officers and told me to go into the house. Joshua and the other person immediately left before the Sheriff's police arrived.  I told the officers the story and said I'm 80 years old with a heart condition and definitely felt threatened by these 2 people, but decided to not file a complaint.

This team is great. I had two other companies look at my installation issue and they could not figure it out. Arizona's Garage Door Doctor not only figured it out but did it within a couple hours at a very reasonable price.
