Work was done in two parts:
Initially raised ceiling in kitchen, moved washer and dryer to garage from kitchen, installed new lighting, and painted.
Second part involved total kitchen remodel with removing walls to create open space; new cabinets, granite, lighting.
MK remodeling did a beautiful job remodeling my kitchen. I had my kitchen gutted and completely redone. They are very professional; they completed the kitchen in a timely manner and went out of their way to make me happy. Kristina designed my kitchen; she has a natural talent for understanding what you want (and has excellent taste). Mike is wonderful to work with and will always go out of his way to make sure things are done to your satisfaction.They made a big project easy by handling everything.
This honestly was not an inexpensive endeavor, but I am a believer in you get what you pay for.  This is the third time I have used MK remodeling and would absolutely use them again for any future project  that I may have.

Rodriguez Remodeling is the best. Period. Originally came out to fix some drywall damage leftover from an air conditioner install. So right there, a major Valley a/c company uses them to fix any damage done during installation.

So we thought, we'll have them do some other work. And it kept on from there. First, they finished our bathroom remodel after the original contractor totally screwed it up and wasn't close to finishing. Two weeks later - all done. Wonderfully.

Then we had them add a porch extension to the upstairs and downstairs. Again, wonderful work, done at a reasonable pace. VERY well done.

We have a daughter who cannot be allowed access to the kitchen. First, they came up with a gate. THEN, they created a lock that can be easily opened by everyone in the family - even my 85-year-old mother - except my daughter.

They have fixed electrical problems in my house, and plumbing trouble. All done well the first time.

I hate to give them such a great review, because we still have a lot of work left on the house. But, they are the best.

I worked with Q and used him repeatedly on a number of projects. Very dependable and great construction services. Always shows up when promised and finishes on time. Great service and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!

Had a good experience with some brick work and painting. After some touch-up work the job was done well. The new owners of the house we're happy and the work was warrantied to satisfaction so what more could we ask for.

I was not happy with the remodel of our kitchen. We were told that things were going to get done and they were not. The amount of time quoted was way longer than what it actually took even though I had told them they had out business but to please if anything over estimate rather than under. We have a large scratch in our island counter top and all our drawer were meant to be soft close and completed and only half are soft close and they several don't shut all the way. I do want to say whoever they used for the tiling did a phenomenal job. It was subcontracted out and I would hire them again in a minute but I will never use 2nd ave design group again nor will I recommend it.

Unprofessional, and nightmarish to deal with. Here's exactly what transpired:

I work 50 hours a week. I made an appointment with "I'm Gonna Fix It" through Amazon between the hours of 2PM-5PM on Sunday, my only day off this month. When 3 o'clock rolled around on Sunday and I had not heard from the company, I called and left a message. At 4 o'clock I sent again inquiring if the appointment was still good to go. Close to 5 o'clock I receive a message from Kyle (the owner) stating that he would have to reschedule do to "personal issues". So, at this point I've planned my families day around this thing and have wasted my only day to be with them. In my industry, this is called "No-Call-No-Show".

I immediately texted him back (I will post a screen shot of the conversation if Yelp will let me) informing him that this was unacceptable and that I do not have another available day all month to reschedule.

I was then rudely texted back "Life Happens" and then he went on to explain how there was "a death in the family".

Now.... I am not a psychic so I do not know if these excuses are true or not. What I do know is this:

A) If you look at other reviews for this company, you will find similar experiences of unprofessionalism, excuses, and tardiness.
B) We were all young once and (speaking for myself) I made these type of excuses to my professors in high school.
C) If there really was a problem, I should have been personally contacted as soon as they found out they were unable to make it (Apparently even though the "Personal Issues" began on Friday, they were unable to contact me until AFTER the appointment was through on Sunday). The guy claims he contacted Amazon to cancel but that is totally untrue; amazon would have contacted me immediately.

In conclusion, the experience I had with this company was so poor I canceled their services altogether. I am not someone with unrealistic expectations... I am understanding that things do happen but with that being said I was not contacted until after the three hour time window had passed and my time had been blatantly wasted, not to mention insulted by the owner.

Buyer beware!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

I had Eric replace some fascia and he quoted a fair price, completed the job quickly, and cleaned up completely!
We are happy with his performance and I highly recommend him!

Very professional to say the least. family owned business thats professional and personable is hard to find. They came out and gave a free estimate in a timely manner. They were actually ahead of schedule to finish the projects. The workers were friendly and professional. The owner Youssef even reached out to me to make sure everything is to my demands. Thank you again.

Great job to Doug who came out to replace my kitchen sink faucet and valves.  He did quality work and gave a fair price.  No more leaks!  I highly recommend this company based on the work and excellent customer service.

Bobby is absolutely fantastic to work with. From the second we met, you could see the level of passion and detail he had. He made remodeling painless and easy, wouldn't recommend using anyone else in Phoenix!

There is nobody better than M2 Enterprise, I am so happy with my completed tub to shower conversion and will have Mark and his team out again for my guest bathroom remodel! I will never use any other contractor after my wonderful experience with Mark. He was able to complete my whole remodel conversion start to finish in 4 days! Mark is honest and highly skilled.... his work is impeccable! I was nervous taking on my homes first remodel project but Mark put my mind at ease, let me know every step of what to expect, and I wish I would have contacted him sooner. I cannot recommend M2 Enterprises highly enough!

After speaking with multiple companies, Desert Mountain was the perfect choice for us. They listened to what we wanted and then they made it reality. They were professional, they provided plenty of top quality options, and they were transparent with time frames and always kept us up to speed with what was going on. We love our new kitchen and are very grateful to Desert Mountain for turning our dream to a reality.

Never responded to multiple requests. Don't even bother asking for one. I had other contractors respond that my project was not in their scope of work. Easy peasy. These guys don't respond which is what probably would happen after you have them money
