We had new AC Installed and the they did a little damage so they had Rodriguez Remodeling contracted out to do the repairs. They were very good at communicating and scheduling. They did a great job. Very clean and courteous. We liked them so much we asked for their card to get a bid on a future remodeling project.

Hands down, Q is one of the best out there - he's honest, hardworking, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. I referred him to my family members as well. Easy to communicate with and no project is too big or too small from electric, plumbing to installing tvs, I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Phenomenal, Dion did a full remodel on my home. Hardwood floors, marble tile, granite counters, kitchen appliances, toilets, mirrors, sinks, bathtub, shower, paint, carpet, he did it all. My house looks brand new and Dion's prices were 1/3 lower than the competition.i had 12 estimates fine before I chose D&D construction and I'm very happy with my decision. I recommend D&D construction to 3 of my friends and he did excellent on all of the homes. Dion is very kind, my kids enjoyed playing with him, even my dog's liked him and my dog's usually hate everyone. I highly recommend D&D construction. Low prices, high quality, good personality, you can't go wrong. I'll be calling D&D construction for all home repairs from now on, thanks Dion!

10:30 am We ordered two ceiling fans and a remote on Amazon thinking we would take advantage of their new Amazon Home Services Group. Our experience was horrible outside of Amazon's normal amazing delivery speed. The day of the installation we received a window of between 11am and 2pm. Kyle from I'm Gonna Fix It called and said they were wrapping up with another client and would be there around 3pm. A gentleman named Chris showed up at 4:30pm and started to work on installing our fans. He pulls me aside before he is done and says "We can bill your second fan through Amazon, or if you can pay cash we will do it for 80.00 instead. Amazon charges us a 20% service fee so we can offer a cash discount."
We are so far behind schedule my wife has time to stop and grab the money on the way home from work. Right before he leaves he comes back and says "Hey I don't have a screwdriver to put the batteries in the remote." He then leaves without testing it, so we had no idea if it would work. Needless to say, the remote won't sync with the system he installed so I call them up and ask them to fix it or remove the unit so we can send it back.
Chris comes out again, this time, he doesn't have a ladder, even though he needed one the first time, so we let him use ours. (What kind of a service comes without a screwdriver or a ladder?), tests the unit, then tells me "Because the unit is defective we have to bill you 65.00 for the hour I was here, but not to worry Amazon will most likely cover the error because the unit was defective." So now they want Amazon to pay us back for their mistake.
His office calls to bill us and I ask them "Why are we paying you to remove something that you didn't test on installation. If the tech actually tested the unit and didn't just leave, then we wouldn't be having a second service call." She says, "Ok I'll call the owner and ask what we can do."
Less than five minutes later Chris shows back up at my house asking me, "What's the problem, and that it was ok to bill us because we let him leave without testing it." It's not only extremely unprofessional to send a service tech back to your front door (not to mention the same one that didn't test the unit) to try and argue on behalf of the company, it borders on intimidation. I wouldn't agree that it was our fault that he didn't test the product he installed and I asked him to leave. The then promptly charged us the 65.00 for the hour. I will never be using Amazon's Home Services again; I'll stick with hiring my Rosie on the House certified contractors.
2:00pm I added this in response to the owners comment.
I can tell you for us the service was nothing like 100% satisfied. It doesn't do me any good to yell at a technician coming to my house for being 2.5 hours late, it does let me know that maybe the company I am working with isn't 100% reliable. It doesn't do me any good when I tell the tech that I have a screwdriver available to put that batteries in, and he says it's fine and goes home. It wouldn't have done me any good this morning to send the man away because he showed up without a ladder when I had one he could use. It definitely didn't do any good to ask your company to make the service call right, because then I had a tech show back up at my house to blame me for his inability to put in batteries, and properly test something he installed.
The good news is there are companies out there that go above and beyond to make things right. Amazon refunded us your service fee of 65.00 and for the remote within the hour when we emailed them. Personally, I was shocked that they would cover a fee, that should have never been charged. It wasn't Amazon's fault we picked the wrong company off of the list to have come to our home. None of that mattered to Amazon, they made it right, and did it quickly, securing our continued business with them for a very long time.
As for offering to put in the new remote for free well I think you can see how we might not think of that as a plus. The last one cost us part of the initial 80.00 (fan installation), and an additional 65.00 (due to reasons listed above).
I appreciate the quick response to my review but fixing the issue when I called and spoke to your company would have been better. Instead, I talked to someone on the phone that said she would talk with the owner, had a technician show back up at my house to argue the point (which is not great service or professional), and then got a call three minutes later to pay because you felt it was due regardless.
Again I can't say enough good things about Amazon for erasing most of what turned out to be a horrible experience.
2:37pm Finally made it back in my bedroom tried to turn on the fan to take a nap and it doesn't even turn on manually now.
2:55 After a little investigation it seems the tech wired the fan to a different wall switch for the light and the fan, which he didn't do before. We are hiring another company to check the work.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Requested a quote for a fireplace replacement job. EL construction gave me a phone number to send pictures to. He gave me the wrong phone number at first. The following day sent me the correct phone number to send pictures to, and I never heard anything back. That was over a week ago. Sent a follow-up message and still crickets. Must be too busy.
Update. After initial review I got a call and text about the job and an apology for not getting back to me. I would have liked to have a better experience because the pics of their work looked good, but unfortunately, it didn't work out.

We went with RH Design & Build for an interior remodel including a complete kitchen renovation. Despite some challenges along the way, we could not be happier with the end result. We recommend RH Design & Build for their professionalism and craftsmanship.

Professional, prompt, & experienced! I highly recommend this company :) By far the best experience I have had with a handy man! Sadly I've been burned in the past with others no-showing, being over priced, or inexperienced. Thank you for the work you have done for us, we really appreciate it!

Bobby is absolutely fantastic to work with. From the second we met, you could see the level of passion and detail he had. He made remodeling painless and easy, wouldn't recommend using anyone else in Phoenix!

We had our floors installed by M2 Enterprises, they did wood like plank tiles in our entire house. We love how they look and make the house look open and modern. They also did a custom border on our entry step. We've had lots of friends and neighbors comment how much they love our floors. We are planning to redo our 2nd bathroom and will have M2 design and install it for us. We are really happy with the quality of service they provide.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company.
In short:
- Terrible communication
- Incorrect measurements
- Bad installation
- Not done right the first time
They came out, measured my kitchen and was told I'd have a quote soon. A few days passed and after reaching out I got a quote. Then was given an excuse about having to determine if the material is available. Where the supplier told me they had plenty... I finally get the quote, it's good and I accepted the quote and paid my 70% and set up a date to complete the wood template on a Monday morning. After they left I was told they would reach out that afternoon to put me on the install schedule. The day passes, then the following day, and the day after that. Nothing. So I reach out and I'm told they put me on the install schedule WITHOUT even asking me if it's a good day. It wasn't, but fortunately I was able to get the day off work. Then I'm told they'll check with the fabricator at the end of the week, make sure everything is on track and ready. The week passes. I hear nothing. Finally the Tuesday after I reach out and they didn't even check with the fabricator! Sure enough "They'll check near the end of the day". They didn't check that day, or the day after.
Finally all is well and I'm told 24 hours before the installers show up the time they'll be there. The installers come, install the counters and several measurements were off. They had to cut the counter inside my house creating a huge mess (they said that the wood template should not have had that happen). They couldn't install my windowsill piece because of a drywall issue (where a guy came later that week, cut and shimmed it no problem and didn't mess with the drywall at all). The installers didn't put any caulking between the backsplash and countertop, so now I have to do that. Then someone only made a 24" backsplash section instead of a 54" section so I have a huge gap behind my stove. The fabricator had no extra material so now I have to wait for someone else to use my material and have enough left over material so they can cut the strip I need. Not sure who messed that up but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the fabricator...
I feel as if my project wasn't important enough for them to actually care about it. It was a back burner project and was a complete hack job. I'm so upset I gave this company any of my money. I had to constantly reach out to get any details of what was going on, and was told they would do a specific task on a specific day and they didn't. I was waiting for them to complete the install to potentially up the rating of this review but then that was totally screwed up too...
I highly recommend others go elsewhere and save yourself the frustration, anger and disappointment.

Needed an extension to our patio. Gusto had the best bid, and did a great job. Clay and his crew were friendly, professional, and punctual. I would definitely use them again in the future.
