Best Water Heater Installation in Denver CO
Bob has been working on my home for several months. He has been great to have around, as he is often willing to help me with projects I can't quite do on my own. To date, Bob has fixed outlets, framed out a door, patched drywall, installed flat disc LED lights, moved cabinets, taken out built-in bookshelves, tightened banisters... the list goes on. His pricing is straight forward and Bob will communicate any delays or decisions points as they come up. Highly recommend booking him for your next project!

Five stars to Nicholas Moore. He will calculate your loads and give you a Manual JSD. He is super on top of your project and responsive to all of your questions that you may have on your project. Will call you and email you right away! Amazing
Lloyd Ladd, well that's a whole new story. He will drop you like a bad habit if you ruffle his little feathers. Don't ask him questions because he will only answer half of them and will keep you hanging when you are trying to order. Even if you're about to spend a upwards of $80,000 plus on new equipment and installation for your new dream house.

I have called blue sky on two separate occasions. Today with an emergency. I did not receive a call back either time. I tried texting as suggested the second time. No response.
Good bye blue sky. You must not need the work.

We called Cooper H&C when our upstairs furnace wasn't working....just before a snowstorm. They came right out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. I had them come out the next week to clean both of our furnaces (over 20 year old furnaces) and change the return filters. A few months later our downstairs furnace stopped working overnight, and the whole basement smelled like gas in the morning. I called them and they said they could come out during the afternoon. With 5 kids at home, while my husband was at work, I was really nervous that something could blow up, so I let them know that I was going to leave the home, and I would return when they called to let me know they were on their way. Well, Mike, the service manager, had someone out within the hour. They diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. Each of the three service guys who came out were professional, courteous, and prompt. While I hope that I don't have to call them again, I will definitely call them for service in the future.

I called this company to give me a quote to install a furnace humidifier. They came out and gave me an estimated cost. Then I called and made an appointment to have it installed. The technician never showed up. So I called to ask what happened, and they said they could re-schedule, but then told me they don't install this model after all. This was a real waste of time and energy.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

Be prepared to baby sit. The electrician was at my house all day and every time I went looking for him, he was in his truck on a smoke break. They give you an estimate for the work, which you sign and that is what you are charged even if they do not complete the work. I finally spoke with a manager, but was not reimbursed for the work not completed.

They came out to check a leaky hose bib and quoted me $740 to fix it, saying that they had to get inside the wall of my home to re-pipe it. Called another plumber who simply replaced the rotted turn handle and fixed the problem. The 2nd plumber didn't even charge me! To make matters worse, I entered into a $578 maintenance contract to start in July and gave them a post dated check. I cancelled in June, before it took effect and stopped payment on the check. In August, they submitted a draft to my bank and debited the $578 saying they had a signature on file and authorization. FRAUD!!!! I am still waiting for a refund.

If you want to pay DOUBLE/TRIPLE... for your heating (and, have a DISHONEST repair man!)... this is the company for you... very expensive!!!!... Many of you already know that an ignitor is already overpriced to have replaced (which is only held by a few screws)... But, Applewood charged me about DOUBLE to start with!...
Here's my story which I sent to Heidi Hemmat Fox News 2/2012, after she did a sting on heating repair companies (do a internet word search):
Ironically, a few days before I saw your reporting on the news, our furnace stopped working around 5pm. I have my senior parent (84) living with me, so I knew I had to get the heat fixed as soon as possible... Unfortunately, I called Applewood who said they were waving the trip charge at the moment, so I thought that would be a good (economic) thing... When he (Charles) came over, he said it was the ignitor (which I suspected, as I had the ignitor go on the heater a little over 2 yrs ago)... He told me it would be over $300(!)... (I had paid $180 2 yrs ago)...
Since my mother was cold in the house, I told him to go ahead and replace the igniter... He then started to find other things 'wrong' with the furnace, but the one that really got me (just before he left) was that he said the motor was going to fall off and I needed to replace a box... right away... that would cost me an additional $300... I told him I would wait... My total for that evening came to ~$620.00.
The following day I called Builder's Heating and Plumbing and told them what I was told about the motor... They inspected it with a free courtesy call, tightened the screws, and told me the motor couldn't fall off, since it slides in and out... (in other words they were very suspect about who told me this)...
Soonafter, I got on the internet and saw what other people had said about being ripped off by Applewood... To say the least, I am disgusted and irratated that companies like Applewood (and, AAA)... are out there ripping off people... not only for myself, but especially for senior citizens, and people who are struggling during these economic times.
You can imagine how surprised I was to see you were doing a sting operation on heating companies on tv just a few days after I used them!... What really surprised me the most in your reporting, was that you said the WORKERS GET A COMMISSION (!!) on their work (no wonder they rip off people)!
Thank you (Heidi) for doing this sting and alerting the public... awesome reporting!
P.S. I wouldn't even give Applewood one star rating, but there isn't another alternative on YELP.
P.S.S. I've also heard that companies have hired other companies to 'clean' up bad reviews on the internet... so, heed other people's 'high' opinions (you never know who they are)... they can be a friend or relative or hired to say 'good' things...
... Check out television station stings/reviews also...
Note to Applewood/AAA...: Do you really think people are so stupid... I hope all this truth gets around Denver soon!... so, you won't be around much longer.

I absolutely love this company! It's because no matter what issue I have, no matter who they send out, they always go above and beyond to fix the problem! James W. was out to my house last week to fix a very clogged drain and did so while smiling and entertaining my daughter the whole time! Thanks again!

Neil and Zabih did a great job. They showed up on time and were very courteous.

DISAPPOINTED - I will give them a few stars because they are timely and efficient when it comes to getting someone out in a day or two/their prices are predictable being a big brand company but they told me I needed a full sewer line replacement so I had another small business sewer company come out and check out the main line and they not only quoted me a more reasonable price but actually helped us find a solution that is not a full repair (we didn't need to do a full repair). Plus our technician couldn't even clear the drain which they have a note on their website saying If the drain technician cannot clear your line it will be FREE. it was not free - we still had to pay for them to snake/pull the toilet which was $168 and we had to pay another $260ish to have them scope the drain + we would have to pay even more to get the scope video? (Dig It Sewer Repair scoped our drain FOR FREE) ... hear me out if its an emergency I guess they are okay to use since its timely but if you can wait and call around, reach out to other companies in the Denver area like Dig It Sewer Repair or Colorado Plumbing - GET MULTIPLE OPINIONS ON ANY BIG REPLACEMENTS SO YOU DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!
