Best Plumbing Repair in Denver CO

Bob has been working on my home for several months. He has been great to have around, as he is often willing to help me with projects I can't quite do on my own. To date, Bob has fixed outlets, framed out a door, patched drywall, installed flat disc LED lights, moved cabinets, taken out built-in bookshelves, tightened banisters... the list goes on. His pricing is straight forward and Bob will communicate any delays or decisions points as they come up. Highly recommend booking him for your next project!

Update since we had another service and it went great again! Brian Gienger from M&M came to our house to fix our blower in our furnace. He was very realistic about quotes, solutions, and I got zero hint of him pulling one over on me. M&M had been out about a couple years ago to charge our AC unit and clean it out too, and the experience was very pleasant. Definitely the best HVAC and plumbing group here in the Longmont area!

Not prepared for the project, didn't have the tools or parts and obviously wanted to charge hourly for running trips to home depot.  Let the project in un-usable shape and worse off than had he not come.  Do not recommend.

Retired elderly couple mystified by all things electrical was impressed by the prompt courteous and knowledge of Joel our electrician, he walked us thru every step with a normal and easily understandable description of the work to be performed. We are   very happy with all aspects of the of this service We would highly recommend it.

Kevin reviewed a couple videos of my malfunctioning washer. I did appreciate his honesty and integrity when he told me that it may not be cost effective for me to try to get it fixed. Maybe he did not get to make $ fixing my washer, but he definitely made me feel confident that he is a good business person and cares about his customers. I will definitely call him if any of my appliances gives me issues again.

We've used Save Home Heat for our heating and cooling for almost 20 years.  This last call was very much like all the others.  I called and they scheduled a tech to come to the house within hours.  Tim showed up, mask on, slipped his booties on and got right to work.  He analyzed the issue, told me how much it would be to fix it - a fair price, then left to get parts across town.  He called when he was on his way back in half an hour, made the repairs, then explained exactly what he had done and stepped me through how to operate the system with the changes he made.  Professional, courteous, clear, conscientious.  About as good as it gets.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

I originally contacted Travis based on his reviews on Yelp. a source I have come to rely upon. I only had a small job I thought, replace a bathroom type ceiling exhaust fan that was in the laundry room of the house I had just recently bought. A malfunctioning exhaust fan is an odd problem to handle because electricians don't want to deal with duct work or anything they consider HVAC and HVAC people want to work on/replace furnaces or air conditioners not exhaust fans. Through Yelp I found and contacted Travis at Handyman Plus. He made an appointment and showed up right on time. The broken exhaust fan was not actually broken it turns out, nor was the switch which seemed to do nothing. It's a type of continuous running whole house exhaust fan unlike anything I had seen before. The wall switch which appeared like it might be broken wasn't it's just the way this fan operates. Travis got me all the information I needed to look up this fan and learn how to use it.
A few weeks later I had a medicine cabinet I wanted installed in our master bathroom. As the wall area to be opened also housed the electric line to an outlet I asked Tarvis to do the installation. Again this was a small job, not the scale of work sought by many people in an up economy. Travis made an appointment, texted me when he was on his way and did an excellent job installing my cabinet; without hitting the power line or electrocuting himself. I'm really pleased with the work but more pleased overall with Travis of Handyman Plus. He is professional, thorough, capable and resourceful. I would not hesitate to call him for much larger jobs.

Buyer Beware! I have been totally ripped off by this company. They charged me $740 to cap a pair of sink pipes and add a vent boot to a gutted bathroom.  

I was told that a technician would be at my home between 10-11 AM. After 12:30 came and went and I received no word, I called the company several times to make sure someone was coming. Each time, I was assured that someone would show up in 'about an hour.' The person who came to do the work showed up at 3 PM.  He left the job unfinished after FOUR HOURS.

I called the next day to ask about finishing the job, and to ask why it was so expensive.  I was given several incorrect versions why the job was unfinished, and I was re-quoted their hourly rate.

They sent a different technician out to complete the work. He was nice, showed up on time, and finished the job. The part that stung was that Blue Sky acted like they were doing something grand by not charging me again.

After multiple conversations with Blue Sky,  they refused to adjust the $740 charge because they stand by their service.

Read it again. $740.00 to cap a pair of sink pipes and add a boot to a vent pipe in a gutted bathroom.

What I didn't know when I called them was that their technicians take as long as they want to finish (or not finish) a job.  Shameful, and not a mistake I'll make with this company again.

I've reached out multiple times to resolve this situation and would usually never post something like this, but I'm shocked that they feel $740 is an appropriate charge for the work that was completed.

Nice to see a company back up its work - even when it turns out it wasn't their fault. I had Tipping Hat install a new humidifier in our new house this past April. A few days ago, we came downstairs to find leaking water all over, and on the floor underneath, our HVAC unit. Because this problem involved water, my first suspect was the humidifier unit, so I called for warranty service. The guys from Tipping Hat came out and inspected the problem, and determined that it wasn't related to the humidifier at all ... it was a flaw from the builder's initial handiwork. Instead of packing up and leaving, they patiently pointed out and explained the problem to me, along with written technical bullet points and photographs, which will make life much easier for me when I file my warranty claim. And they did this all with good humor, and for zero charge. A true pleasure to deal with.

My grandson's hot water tank finally gave up the other night.  Being an older home and not well maintained by previous owners there was no choice but to replace the old beat up thing.  I went to Home Depot, found a tank, paid for it and Plumbline was calling to make an appointment even before I left the store.  It was great.  After Mike Quarry came to the house, looked at the mess, he told me what I should expect, etc.  Changing a hot water tank isn't just that simple.  Codes changed and I could see why some of the changes were needed.  Either way I wanted everything up to code for 2023 and spanking new things.  It couldn't be done that day so he came back the next day bright and early with Cameron.  I had a problem with my bank but while I was out getting that straightened out Mike and Cameron were plugging away.  They finished way early, got everything looking really nice and boy am I happy.  The best of this transaction is I had gotten some summer crude so that I was so sick that Mike just guided me through what needed to be done and why and what the solution was.  I was so happy with that.  Since I live down the street from my grandson's I asked Mike if he would mind if I went home to sleep.  He said I should probably do that.  My grandson's who are 24 and 19 were home so they didn't need me.  Mike and Cameron finished up early and called me.  I'm telling you I was so happy but still sick.  Mike was patient with me and explained as much as my mind could handle in a way that was not threatening, not condesending and truly was a help.  I had to return the other tank but that was nothing compared to having a new working tank.  And they cleaned up like a champ.  They came to a mess but left it all cleaned up.  I liked Mikes work so much I invited him back this coming Wednesday to repair something that needed to be replaced.  And I have other stuff for him to do.  Thanks Mike and thanks Cameron!!!

Very impressed, Prompt service, came out within 2 hours of calling. John was very professional. He explained everything before performing a Main Drain Cleaning. Told me all cost up front and confirmed I was comfortable with those costs. He put on booties as well as wheel booties on the snake dolly, Cleaned up and hooked up the washing machine for me before he left. Had me run water before he left to make sure the drain was working properly. Would definitely recommend Plumb line and John.

This company is a rip-off. I called them to service my air condition. Once they got their foot in the door they started pushing a service plan. After  they dismantled the air conditioner and hosed down the filter, they tried to convince me to replace an 8 to 10 year old system. The two young men were very nice and courteous. I am sure they were doing what they have been trained to do, which is replace not fix. I give this company a 0.

Since it feels like fall is just around the corner, I thought the time was right to have my baseboard heaters serviced and to try to find the source of a banging noise.  I don't think that any previous owners had ever serviced the heaters in the 12-year life of the condo before I bought it.

Applewood is crystal clear and timely in terms of customer service - they email you a picture of your technician and call you to be sure you're there to meet him.  Easy to set up a weekend appointment that worked with my schedule.

I don't think that what I was asking Chris to do was difficult, but he did a great job and was upbeat and fast.  Did I overpay?  Possibly, but I'm not too concerned.  I have two new valve thingys that will hopefully solve the banging problem this winter, and the heaters are now clean and good to go.  I'm glad he was the one cleaning out the disgusting 12 years of debris in there and not me!

This company is a scam, we called them to get a second opinion as another company said we needed a new furnace immediately. Turns out, they conveniently agreed and have us a $10k bid for a new system. Luckily a friend of ours knew an independent HVAC guy and he was able to fix our system for $300. Don't let these predatory companies take your hard earned money.
