I hired Bob after moving into my first home. I had a few wants and a few needs when it came to getting work done on the condo-- adding an outlet, changing some sconces, and some highly questionable wiring in my kitchen. He had amazing depth of knowledge and helped me with my entire list. He then went a step further and helped me hang curtains in rooms with plaster/concrete walls that I couldn't drill through on my own. He also walked through my condo and identified that I had mice (eep!) that I wasn't aware of and he told me all of the tools I needed to buy, where to get them, and how to use them so I could plug the hole that they were entering from.

Bob's services were really reasonably priced and he went above and beyond the actual things I hired him for. I would absolutely recommend him!

I was having some issues with kitchen lighting and couldn't figure out why they weren't working. I was able to schedule a same day appointment with fixer. My fixer was super friendly and efficient and easily resolved the issue for me!

Retired elderly couple mystified by all things electrical was impressed by the prompt courteous and knowledge of Joel our electrician, he walked us thru every step with a normal and easily understandable description of the work to be performed. We are   very happy with all aspects of the of this service We would highly recommend it.

I worked with Kevin on a couple projects and am beyond impressed. Kevin is very responsive and reliable. He delivered high quality work and the charge was very reaso. We had some HVAC and electrical issues that needed immediate attention. Kevin stayed late to make sure we are taken care of. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs a handyman or contractor.

Vince is knowledgeable and professional, is always on time and priced fairly. He might even accept a good IPA as a form of payment or bribery. Seriously though, you can't go wrong by using Fixxit for your technical handyman services.

Vince has also helped with advice for building out/ retrofitting my Jeep for overlanding as he has done several rig conversions of his own in the past.

When I made the decision to replace my furnace and get a heat pump, I decided to start with a bid from Save Home since they have a good reputation. Chris Kellogg spent hours explaining every tiny detail of what would be done. I felt so comfortable with the presentation that I opted out of contacting other companies for bids. I feel confident that I will be happy with the work when it is done.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. Dehn is through and through a professional. From the initial quote to the final product he provided detailed communication and quality service. He installed a new staircase/guard railing and every step of the install was meticulous. We are so pleased with the final product and highly recommend Urban Handyman.

The vent-less fireplace did not work in the house I moved  into.  The job required removing the vent-less fireplace and installing a chimney from the basement up to the living room, into the garage, and  through the room above the garage.  This job would discourage anyone, but  it came out  perfectly.  The building inspector said it was an excellent install. Travis was responsible for the chimney rough-in, building an enclosed bench to hide the chimney in  the living room and all finishing work relating to make this job work.  He was amazing.  Everyone who has seen it cannot believe the complexity of the job and the finished work.  I truly recommend Travis for any home repair or remodeling services. He is  to be commended.

Addam was the technician that came to my house to fix my backed up kitchen sink. He was very professional, cleared my back up in half an hour and was very clean. He cleaned up after himself and was sure that there were no further leaks or problems after he cleared the back up.  He was a bit late from the window of time they gave me, but a lady from the office called within the quoted window time to notify me that he was still coming and was on his way.  I would certainly use them again for any further plumbing issues.

I had the pleasure of working with James from Cooper Heating & Cooling. I'm a DIY'er but electrical work is something I'm still getting a feel for. I was looking to have a 20 amp circuit installed and was not comfortable doing the electrical panel work. James came over and I started asking all types of questions due to my interest in electrical work. Not only was he extremely friendly, but he actually welcomed the barrage of questions. We put together a plan, and I asked if I could do some of the work for the experience. He was completely open to that idea and said he would inspect everything I did to make sure it was up to code.

When the day of the install came, James let me watch all of his work, answer all my questions along the way, and then inspected the part of the install I was handling. We made a great team, it was an incredible learning experience and the new circuit install is beautiful. I really wish I could have more experiences like this as it's a wonderful way to learn, participate in the improvements of my home and accomplish projects that are outside of my comfort zone.

I am not really sure how my post got deleted but I was very disappointed in tipping hat plumbing called him out for a back up and I got quoted over $5000 to dig up my basement move my water heater for a back up took the bid was told I had a collapsed pipe which was a total lie the guy just didn't want to do the job called out Garvines got the job done he was here for a while I'll give him that but he didn't excellent job please stay away from tipping hat Applewood plumbing if you're going to go with the notable upstanding plumbing service go with Garvines or Lakewood plumbing and the job was done for under $225

I really was hoping for a great experience. I've heard so many great things on Tom Martino's show, but unfortunately Plumbline couldn't even show up for my appointment. I contacted this company to install a chimney liner, which connects to my furnace in my 104 year-old home. I am in the process of having my roof replaced, due to hail damage and scheduled the roofing job around Plumbline's schedule. I received their email confirmation and then right at 7:30 AM this morning, I received a call stating they were too busy. The lady on the phone was very rude and didn't seem to care about my job. She could care less about the schedule of my roof and the fact it would be holding up my roofers from completing their job. She said she would have a manager call me, but I have yet to receive a call. I have been renovating my Washington Park home for the past year and I was also considering Plumbline to replace my furnace and add air conditioning as well, but I will be looking elsewhere. I can't review this company's work, but if it is anything like their customer service, I cannot recommend this company.

Do not call this company. They charge you for parts you do not need just to reach their revenue goal. Management is a joke. They do not care about the health of employees. The manager is not professional at all. 1/10.

My experience was very much a repeat of many of the other reviews.  We made an appointment for the electrician to arrive between noon and 2PM on Sunday.   Received a text and a call on Sunday saying his job was going to take all day and that he would not be there.   I called and spoke to Paul who said they could have someone out on Monday morning at 8AM.   This morning at 7:20 AM, I received a text and a call saying the tech was on his way.  I called back to ask for an ETA.   The lady told me he would be there in 27 minutes.   At 7:54 AM I received a call saying the tech apparently went the wrong direction and was in Morrison (we live in Broomfield, their office is in Arvada).   and wouldn't be there until later in the morning.   I had appointments to go to and told Paull to send someone else.  All he had was 5 to 7PM.   After thinking about it, I cancelled altogether.   If a guy doesn't know how to follow his navigator system, I don't trust him to do electrical work at my home.

DISAPPOINTED - I will give them a few stars because they are timely and efficient when it comes to getting someone out in a day or two/their prices are predictable being a big brand company but they told me I needed a full sewer line replacement so I had another small business sewer company come out and check out the main line and they not only quoted me a more reasonable price but actually helped us find a solution that is not a full repair (we didn't need to do a full repair). Plus our technician couldn't even clear the drain which they have a note on their website saying If the drain technician cannot clear your line it will be FREE. it was not free - we still had to pay for them to snake/pull the toilet which was $168 and we had to pay another $260ish to have them scope the drain + we would have to pay even more to get the scope video? (Dig It Sewer Repair scoped our drain FOR FREE) ... hear me out if its an emergency I guess they are okay to use since its timely but if you can wait and call around, reach out to other companies in the Denver area like Dig It Sewer Repair or Colorado Plumbing - GET MULTIPLE OPINIONS ON ANY BIG REPLACEMENTS SO YOU DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!
