I contacted four different electrical contractors. Only two returned my calls. Louis Lucero with High Caliber Electric and Jason Quynn with Quynn Electric both came to my house to give quotes on the work that needed to be done. Louis left a quote with me before he left. Jason said he would email the quote to me the following day. After two days I called their office and was told that they were still waiting for pricing from their supplier before giving me a quote. After a week I didn't hear from Quynn Electric and had High Caliber Electric do the work. Louis replaced all the circuit breakers in my box, after 40 years they were starting to fail and not trip. He ran a new line into the living room and installed additional outlets. He also ran some new outlets in the garage. He also diagnosed a rather serious problem with the wiring in our living room where a neutral wire wasn't installed correctly and we had arcing issues. I was very pleased with his work ethic, professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. Any problems he found he took the time to show me and explain what he was doing to correct the problem. He also patiently answered any questions I had. I felt what he charged for his work was more than fair and reasonable for the time he invested. I highly recommend High Caliber Electric. They do honest, excellent work for a fair price.

There is no sense in repeating all the great things other reviewer's noted about APower and Justin.  However, as I was paying my bill, I was told that they were recently purchased by Done Plumbing and Heating (to add the electrical part).  I told Justin had I known that I never would have called them.  Way too many awful reviews  that to me overrode the good ones.  I've always found other plumbers.  Reviews should matter.  

I was glad I did not know because I am very pleased with the work, the explanation of the work and the price seemed what that is in 2023.  I think they are planning to keep providing their exceptional services but I'm leery.  A company that buys you out wants to institute their policies and payment scale.  Guess we'll have to wait and see but to me, the only sure way not ruin this good electrical company, is if Done let's them operate, as they did before the buyout.  Good luck future customers and to the owner of APower in hanging onto your integrity.  Here's hoping.  Currently I'm still a very satisfied customer.

We asked for recommendations from our neighborhood HOA website when we needed electrical work done and were told about SJO.  We have subsequently worked with Ed and his team to do extensive electrical work at our house on multiple occasions including installing a new electrical panel, new lights, switches, adding new circuits to add power to our garage and quite a bit more.  I have worked with so many contractors over the years and SJO is one of only two that I have NOT regretted hiring.  Ed has given us great advice on the work we needed done, including telling us the most cost effective ways to accomplish what we wanted to do. The team of electricians is friendly, careful in their work, always on time, performed the work properly in a timely manner and delivered what we wanted.  The price has always been reasonable and well in line with what competitors charge.  I feel very confident recommending SJO.  I cannot imagine what happened with others that caused them to be unhappy.  I guess this falls in the category of you can't please all of the people all of the time.  But they certainly have pleased my husband and me.  I will hire them every time I need more electrical work.

Joey and JGH are knowledgeable, responsible, quick to answer and respond. They have come through for me twice in the last few months on short notice and not disappointed. Their work is impeccable and their prices are more than fair. I cant recommend them enough.

Michael came out next day and put in the outlet requested.  He was prompt, cordial, and had a fair price.  I will be using Michael and Faith Electric for future needs, and highly recommend you reach out to him too.

I called three companies for a free estimate to either remove an existing light from the ceiling or replace it.  One showed up but said, The guys at the office are the ones who estimate these costs, so I don't really know what it would cost.  I'm thinking, Then why the hell did you stop by my house?  The other company called 30 minutes AFTER our two-hour appointment window to see if I wanted to reschedule.  I declined.

The third was Adept Electric.  They showed up on time, gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work, offered to do the work on the spot and were finished in 10 minutes!  No cleanup for me, either!  

I HIGHLY recommend.

I never give 5 stars because no one in this world is perfect. Joshua did an amazing job wiring up my 4000 watt grow with a couple extra added 120s as well. There isn't too many people that you can trust and to say the least, my comfort level was at an all time high. I didn't feel worried at all after meeting them. Not the slightest. I'm an owner of a consulting business my self and knowing that I had someone with an abundance of knowledge as well as trust worthy, really eases the mind. Not to many good business out there that make you feel more valuable after the work then before they started. And not just in the pocket book. Thanks Joshua for all your work. To start, I've hired many plumbers through the years so I'm no novice in home ownership.  I hired these folks due to two recommendations from friends.  They did show up on time and fixed the leak.  Negatives:  person that showed up acted like he was reading from a script.  When I voiced shock at the price, he rattled off all the reasons why prices were higher.  I told him to stop witht he sales pitch.  As FYI, I looked up the price of the part on Home Depot afterwards and it was under $10.  (They replaced the lavatory tubular trap and fittings.)  I was charged $400.28 even after they took off the $59 trip charge, and it took him less than one hour to fix.  That is an insane hourly price!  I feel totally ripped off.  While he was there, I asked if he could connect the little circular cap on my counter (where a sprayer had once been).  He said he didn't know if he had the nut on hand.  Then he left after fixing leak without checking for the nut or, if he did, without telling me he didn't have it.

False advertising was used to get me to call them.
The did not fix my water heater and charged me for a part that did not fix the heater.

I did have to call another company to come out and fix the heater.

Wrote a letter to the owner but did not receive a call back or even a letter.

I would not recommend them for anything...
