Best Flooring Installation in Chicago IL

Needed some custom built-in shelving, after receiving a number of quotes I decided to go with the Good Guys Handyman as they were very fairly priced and incredibly responsive from start to finish. Given the size of the shelving needed they also helped with a number of aspects I had not considered on the design to make sure it would be durable.

I was constantly kept updated with photos to show progress and make sure design was in line with what I asked for, end product was completed it to an excellent quality. They were in and out in 2 days leaving the place as clean as what it was before hand. Highly recommend these guys!

Gino and team re-finished our basement and did a great job.  They were VERY reasonably priced, professional, and the finished product was pretty good.  Gino is pretty responsive via phone and his team was very courteous and polite at our house.  They're not exclusively remodelers, so this project was a little out of their wheelhouse, but for the price we paid, they did an excellent job.  I would hire them again.

Chris is unquestionably the best. I have used his company for many different jobs since the middle of 2013. In fact, I wrote a glowing tribute to his expertise and knowledge in Yelp in Sept/Oct 2013 but for some unknown reason it was never posted under the other reviews. He did major remodeling of our house in Deerfield. He put new wood floors all through the house, tiled the laundry room, painted the whole interior and did a remarkable job of remodeling the master bathroom. The bathroom and the shower stall are works of art. Many of our friends who have seen it want to know who did such incredible work. I have referred them all to Chris. The job also included quite a bit of electrical and duct work. They were done to perfection. All his workers are very dependable and pay close attention to all intricate details. Last summer, Chris finished our basement to perfection to our specifications and his masterful ideas to keep the cost within our budget. He and his coworkers can expertly handle electrical work, plumbing, painting, flooring, laying tiles and many other aspects of construction and remodeling. Every time I have questions about any work needed in our house, I reach out for Chris and Chris only. I have no hesitation in recommending Hilman Construction Co. for any job related to construction and remodeling.

We utilized Alex and Loren for our large basement finishing project and couldn't be happier. We had approx 1,000 sq feet of unfinished basement space and needed framing, plumbing (added a new bathroom with shower), electrical, hvac, doors hung, and drywall with finishing. He showed up on time every day and maintained excellent communication throughout our project duration. He was friendly, professional, and courteous. It seems he is a perfectionist by nature, always looking at the little details. He cleaned up after himself and was very cooperative on last minute job requests. I purchased a mirror from Wayfair and added on installation. No one  ever showed up. I was so upset and cancelled the installation with them. I reached out to Eligio, and he contacted me right away. Thankfully, he was able to come out the same day. He installed the mirror in such a short amount of time and was super professional. I highly recommend him!

Eugene is great! Came in replaced the exhaust fan in my bathroom!  Very responsible and easy to work with.  Have another project I'm going to hire him for!

They replaced the hardware on the interior of my garbage cabinet. Great job.  The materials that I bought for this job were too small and they still made it work perfectly. Very careful workmen.
