Five Star Electrical & Plumbing is a family-owned operation of Tony, a general electrical and plumbing handyman. When we moved to Charlotte and discovered that our new home had several undisclosed issues, Tony helped us identify the problems and get the house in better shape. We hired him initially for some electrical issues but he ended up fixing some plumbing and AC issues as well. He is more responsive to customers than a bigger company and his pricing is fair. I would recommend giving him a call for general fix up needs for your home.

We discovered Johnathon through Google.  We called to make an appointment for a free estimate.  The person who answered the phone was very friendly and professional.  Once the appointment was made Johnathon arrived on time.  We wanted to install an outdoor fan.  He performed a thorough  inspection of the area and recommended different options for us to consider.  Once we decided on the best option for us Johnathon returned and installed the fan in a very professional and efficient manner,  Never once did he try to sell us something we .didn't want.  He also did an amazing job installing can lights for us.  We highly recommend this company.  BTW... He is reasonable.

Wow!  I called and they were able to come out within two hours.  On the phone I explained what was wrong and sent a photo of the light switch I was having issues with.  They arrived and fixed promptly.  Gave great advice too for future electrical needs.  Would totally be calling these guys for any electrical work needed in the future.

So I've got to call myself out for this one, I had a back patio light in the ceiling fan that was less bright than the other ceiling fan. Unbeknownst to me I was unaware there was a control on the remote that dimmed and brightened the light. Not only was he on time, not only did he come out with a smile on his face but instantly show me what the problem was and when I offered to pay he wouldn't accept. I know he was only here five minutes but that's highly unusual. I can promise you when I do have a real electrical job to be done at my home I'm going to contact Sky Electric and Ronnie Mullis.

Shawn did a fantastic job giving us a beautiful painting job in our new home. He was very flexible with scheduling and stayed late to help us out in getting the job done before movers came the next day. I highly recommend him, he does high quality professional work at a very reasonable price and cares deeply about his craft. Thanks again Shawn!

Chad did a fantastic job of fixing a patio door that was very difficult to open.   He responded to texts and emails promptly, and showed up on time for the job.  It was a pleasure doing business with him.   Chad will be the first person I call for any future home jobs.

Roman is such a nice guy! He came exactly when he said on a Saturday evening. The business is called Asap and he lives by it. My wife asked him if I needed you at 2:00am would you come ? He said if it was an emergency, sure.  I called him about 7:30pm, he was here and done by 8:45!! Small job, but it needed an electrician. Quick clean professional work! Use this man!

Called them today and luckily they were working in the area and were at our home in less than two hours.  The electrician was great and quickly solved our problem.  Will be using them in the future.  Highly recommend.

Technician was not knowledgeable about the Insteon smart switches that I called to have them repair even though they said they were sending out a knowledgeable technician.  They had to make two trips at a cost of $400 to replace a a $40 light switch!  Bottom line...I paid $400 for on the job training.  Lesson learned. People were very nice but I won't be using them again.

Never showed up for estimate.  If you insist on using this firm, please call the day before to speak with a live person to confirm the appointment time.  The person who took the original call to schedule appointment sounded as though they had just woken from a nap.  Good luck to you.

Chris was extremely professional and found time in his schedule to fit us in on short notice over the holidays.  He quickly identified the source of our flickering lights and provided both a detailed explanation of what was happening and our options to remediate.  Luckily it wasn't a fire hazard, and he was able to easily address the problem right away.

Joe was very professional and handled the problems quickly and efficiently! Would definitely work with him and Michael & Son again!

I cannot comment on the quality of the work done by H Dee, as I never received a call back after leaving a voicemail request about work I needed done.

Don't do business with this company. Once a defective light was installed for $225. They refused to take it down for less than $185. Puts my cost at over $1000 for the light and installation. Do not use this company under any circumstances. If I could give 0 stars I would.  No sir the light was not working well when your technicians were there, and when I needed it taken down you refused to do anything but charge me an additional $185 to have it removed. No offer from you other than full price. No worries though I tripped the breakers and took it down by myself in 5-10 minutes. It was really hard. I can understand the $185 price tag when an unskilled person such as myself can do it in 5-10 minutes. Thank you so much and I will assure no one I know and do business will ever use your service. Your a real gem. Good job.
