Best Thermostat Repair in Charlotte NC

Blue Collar Trades Electrician
Y'all, if I could give Josh from Blue Collar 10 stars, I would! We had an electrical issue on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I just went down the line on Yelp and called 15 different electricians... Josh responded quickly, and was over at my house within a couple hours. Quickly got to the bottom of the issue, which was with power IN to the house, helped me call Duke Energy to explain the problem and make sure they dispatched a lineman, and followed up several times over the afternoon and evening to make sure we were okay and all squared away. And even though he could have gouged me on a holiday, he charged me a more than reasonable rate while providing great service. I would absolutely recommend them for all your electrical and HVAC needs (he is licensed for both)!!

Aspire Heating & Cooling Electrician
Aspire is a very professional company. From quote to completion,  they did the job quickly, without great mess or upset to our living space, and the job works and looks great. Additionally it is rare to find a company with such decent, caring people.  I really felt like they treated us as if this was their own home and own family they were working for. It's hard to find a company that does the job and cares about the people. Aspire did both well.

Adams Mechanical of Rock Hill Electrician
I found Scott Adams of Adams Mechanical on Home advisers. I was having a problem with my air conditioner and had already spent several hundred dollars or should I say wasted dollars on other people experimenting on how to fix it. Though they claimed to be the professional. I was skeptical at first about getting someone else but then felt a peace about using Scott Adams after he called and talked to me on the phone. He came out and looked at everything but also couldn't figure out what was wrong because the problem wasn't showing itself when he came out. However, he was very good about coming at anytime of day or night to resolve my issue. He said when it shows up again call me right away and I will be there and he was. He found the problem got it fixed and was very professional and quite reasonable.
I have since used him to fix some other things I found wrong because he does what he says he will do and is very reasonable and easy to work with. I highly recommend his company.

Blair showed up on time, fixed both my primary issue and worked on a non-related secondary problem I was experiencing. Laughed at my jokes and my dog LOVED him. What more could you ask for? Would highly recommend this company and this technician.

Eneco Electrician
Jerell came out and was very professional. He was sent to us for a plumbing problem behind our dishwasher. Allison and White property management had him come out. But now they say nothing is wrong , I would very much like the report from Jerrel if possible, because these guys are giving us a lot of trouble because of this situation and nothing is getting fixed. Can you please help? Our address is 1013 12th St. NE in Hickory. He left his number with my son, but when we called it said mailbox was not set up. We could really use your help.

Bradham Brothers Electrician
We had used them last summer to check in on our a/c .  They had came out in May 2016, something ended up cutting out on it so they came back out charged us ANOTHER $95 for another diagnosis and it was something they should have caught the first go around.  So $400 has been spent just for a compositor.  We thought that was just a one time deal because my grandparents had used them before and they seemed to do a good job that time. So, comes May 2017 this year used them again paid $95 just for a diagnostics check and they never found anything substantial, then yesterday my a/c went out again. We called them  because we wanted to find out exactly what is wrong this time and they came out charged another $95 just for coming out and they found out it needed a booster for my compressor which cost $200 and they needed to put freon in which should have been done when they came out in May.  So this bill was another $425. It's almost a $1000 which probably could have been handled a lot differently.  ITS LIKE YOU'RE ALWAYS SPINNING TIRES WIT THIS COMPANY.  The tech was kind of rude also in how he talked and acted. For example walked into the house and tracked MUD through the house, like come on.

Jim Dickerson Electrician
After paying them $300 to repair a hot water heater that is only 6 years old I was still having the same issue shortly after the plumber left.  I was then told when I spoke with them that the plumber would be back the next day, a Saturday.  When he never showed I called them and they told me he didn't work that day and he could come on Monday and replace the entire unit.  I asked about the $300 in parts and labor that I already paid and they said that was paid for the work they did and not relevant to replacing the unit.  I refused and decided to look at the unit myself.  I discovered that the unit was not getting any air as the intake was covered with dust and dirt.  The plumber had said he cleaned this area out and DID NOT.  After cleaning it myself I am back up and running but still out the $300 in un-needed repairs that they performed.

IRV Plumbing, Electric & HVAC Electrician
Really a mixed experience. My 20 year old water heater started to leak so after a quick trip to Lowe's, I contacted IRV. Robert came out and performed a very thorough and comprehensive review of the situation and provided me 3 options (2 tankless, 1 direct replacement). I went ahead and went for the high eff tankless Rinnai system.
The office was very punctual, giving me appointment updates and the technicians were right on time.
That's when the issues started. The quality of the initial installation was HORRIBLE. I wish I could post pictures.
The plumber attempted to use the existing wall penetration for the exhaust, but somehow convinced himself that the supply also needed to be vented, and went on to create using aluminum flashing and LOTS of silicone and expanding foam, one of the worst wall penetrations possible. That was only outdone by the piping on the outside of the home that looked like two periscopes protruding from a 12 square of aluminum flashing on top of my vinyl siding. It was comical. It's worth noting this is directly off my deck on the rear of my house. A lesser issue was the electrical, in which a new outlet was installed, but instead of running the wire inside the sheetrock to the breaker box, the electrician ran flex conduit out of the wall, along the baseboard and back inside the wall by the breaker box about 6 feet away. It really looks bad. I would later be told that meets code. Lesser issues include the PEX piping that was really just sloppy and the pressure relief valve that was plumbed strangely.
I immediately contacted Leon who while I think was at the job site, did not do the work the first time. He understood my concern, and said he would address it as soon as he was back in town (holiday weekend). Again, great attitude and very responsive.
I showed Leon what my neighbor had done (DIY job), as well as what comes with the unit. Pretty basic stuff. Pics like this all over the internet.
Leon (and his assistant) was again punctual and immediately went about fixing both of the exhaust venting issues. He ended up having to raise the water heater and using commercially available ducting designed and installed what is now a much better installation. I still have a little sheetrock inside to cleanup, but I can handle that. The outside, while better, is still an issue. Because of the initial installation, I am left with 4-6 screw holes in my siding where the flashing from the original installation was installed (along with a lot of silicone again). Short of replacing the vinyl siding, not sure I have a solution.
I will deal with the electrical/sheetrock & PEX piping issues.
I received a survey call shortly after, and I hope the company takes my feedback to heart. When you install a unit like this in someone's finished garage, you need to discuss with the homeowner the installation. What was done was some of the most shabby workmanship I have ever seen. Had I had the 2nd installation, the first time around, I probably would have given IRV 4 or 5 starts. That said,
Leon (and his helper on day 2) - 5 stars
Robert - 5 stars
The plumber that did the work on day 1 - 0 stars (should have gone negative as I also had what we think was a gas leak on the first night to which we were asked to crack the garage door).
The electrician - again, ask the homeowner. Simply stating we don't do sheetrock on a $4k+ job is not acceptable.
Sorry for the lengthy review. I really like the unit. It seems to work well. My lesson - Don't take the installation for granted!
