Fearghal is the best! He helped me fix some lighting - he first helped me figure out over text and a phone call what the solution should be, then made sure I ordered the right parts by sending me the Amazon links, then came over to install it all.
That wasn't all. On his way out, I mentioned that a part of a lamp in my apartment had come loose. He took a look and said he'd think about what a good solution was - this wasn't part of his job, but he just offered to think on my behalf. He then texted me to tell me he had a solution and came back FREE OF CHARGE. He brought a tool with him that fixed my lamp, and he said he was happy to help.
I'm a fan for life.

John arrived in under 20 minutes when I recently had an emergency situation where my lights were flickering wildly and several appliances had overheated. He was competent, congenial, and professional, and immediately figured out that the problem was with an open neutral wire from the PG&E feed. He helped me contact PG&E, and was still present when the PG&E truck arrived and made sure that they had properly solved the problem. On top of that, his rates were very reasonable. I would not hesitate to call him again if the need arises.

It's hard to say enough good things about Natalie. Professional, fair, and highly skilled of course.
We've worked with her a few times now, usually when something complicated was involved. She is an artist in her craft, and always comes up with an elegant solution.

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.
I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.
For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.
I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

It is hard to find a good residential contractor these days for any trade, but these guys certainly fit the bill. Great service, skilled workers, prompt, efficient, and trustworthy. If you need any electrical work done give these guys a call. They did the can lights in our kitchen and it makes a huge difference. Would not hesitate to hire this team for our next electrical project. Thank you!

At first the price seemed unusually cheap, which I was happy about, but the job ultimately proved more complicated -- and the price was still perfectly fair.
The job was a lot of work, but Jaime kept at it. When it proved more difficult than it had first appeared to him, he came back the next day and fired away at it.
I don't know much about wiring so I was partly relying on his solid YELP reviews, but given what had to be accomplished (and he was by himself both days) he did a really solid job.

I called these guys because my kitchen was screwed, I used my toaster and microwave at the same time (who knew that was too much juice for my old building!?). Boris walked me through flipping the breaker and replacing a fuse all for FREE and super patiently as I walked around my apartment. BEST is all I have to say. Call this guy if you need electrical issues.

I was having trouble with an outlet in my bakery on a Sunday afternoon. I reached out to Split Electric via Yelp, and Edward responded within five minutes! I explained the issue and we set up an appointment for the next day.
He and his partner, Jesus, arrived on time and immediately got to work. They quickly identified the problem, provided recommendations, and even took the time to look over one of my appliances that had just broken down.
I could not be happier with the experience I had with Split Electric. Edward and Jesus are knowledgeable, hard working, great communicators, and most importantly, honest and trustworthy. If you're having electrical problems in your home or business, I highly recommend getting in touch with Split Electric.

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!
My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.
We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.
Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.
I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Michael came to my home to give me an estimate on changing out all of the electrical outlets in my home, recess lights, and outside security lights. He was very friendly but more importantly he is professional and knowledgable in his field. These days it is hard to find these three qualities in a person. I am very happy with his work. He also stands by his word. I thought something was wrong with one of the outlets, turns out it was my fault, he had no problem returning and checking out that problem to make sure my home was safe. I will be using Michael as my electrician. Helen Robinson

Cham, was fantastic! He came to our house on the weekend and after a through examination of the problem determined that the fault was NOT as the AT&T technician had tried to claim, a short in the wiring inside of our house, but the fault was in fact due to the ineptitude of the AT&T technician who had not only failed to notice that the wiring inside of the MPOE telecom box had corroded and burnt, but in trying to assess the problem the AT&T technician had actually cut off the phone feed line going into the house from the outside telecom box. Seriously... If you want or need a reliable, trustworthy high quality low voltage wiring service Cham and AV Druids is the place to call!

Lost power Monday when neighbors tree took lines from the weather head on my home, three days later PGE informs me I needed an electrician. I have a 67-year-old brother on dialysis who lives with me and he needs heat. I pulled up Yelp, closed my eyes, and prayed for God to send the right person. He guided me to Watts. That evening, as it got dark, Daniel stopped by and looked at the job , i knew he was the right person for the job. The next day, he arrived with two young men. How beautiful to see this skill being taught. He said proudly these are my sons. Turns out I needed to upgrade some things to pass inspection. Daniel explained everything, and upgrades are being done. I highly recommend them they are knowledgeable and respectable, and most of all, honest . I will call them for all my electrical needs and you should too. These are good people.

Wesley has been doing all electrical work at our house for years. He just installed an L2 evse charger which is working great. Punctual, no-fuss, working with Wesley is a no brainer.

Nice guys and very knowledgable. Our job ended up being more complicated than they expected because an old house always holds surprises. But they stuck with their estimate and we felt they gave us a great price for the project.

Jesus is THE BEST! Our school needed some fast electrical work and he was there within a couple hours, and an absolute pro. He was thorough in diagnosing the problem, explaining it to us, and quoting us fair prices. He did such an excellent job that we had him come back two days later to do another project we'd been putting off. He is also unbelievably friendly and such a pleasant person to work with during a stressful time. Thank you for your work, Jesus!

Idan was tremendously accommodating amid a tricky schedule for a peculiar job. Easy to work with, did strong, detailed work, and looked out for me the whole time. He was even flexible with the price! Will for sure use him and Electric Heroes again soon -- I can't recommend enough.

We just bought our first home. During the general inspection a number of electrical issues (lack of grounding on some outlets, loose wires in the crawl space, etc.) came up, so our inspector called Williams Electric. It was a Saturday, but Geoff (the owner) came out and assessed at the same time as our general inspection. This really gave us peace of mind.
Once we closed on the house, we had Geoff fix the critical issues. He is a man of few words, but was professional and always willing to explain what was required. He even took the time to swap out some new GFI outlets that didn't match our kitchen.

A friend recommended Art to install a 240V outlet to charge our electric car, as he had done the same for them. Art was super responsive and agreed to visit me on a Sunday to estimate the cost, which was very reasonable. He then returned a few days later to get the job done. While doing the work, he noticed something unexpected about the wiring in our house and took time to explain what he was investigating, and what he concluded and why. We plan to have Art back to do other installations in our home.

We had a bad experience with Bart. Called and texted him several times. He said he could come to take a look and will get back to us A COUPLE TIMES but never did it. He is perhaps just too busy with his other works to take new customers.
