I cannot recommend Leo Electrical enough. I'm more than 100% satisfied with the work Leo has done in our home (ceiling fans and recessed lights). His estimates came in the best among the few electricians I received quotes from.
Leo is an expert in his field. There truly isn't a problem he cannot solve. He does his best to minimize drywall damage. The little drywall that he does disrupt to get the job done, he patches it up with perfection. He also cleans up after the work is done. We have worked with Rory twice.  The first time we called him, it was to fix all the issues that another electrician we had hired caused (don't get me started on that one!) He totally understands that when you have no power and you work from home, you are shut down.  He fit us into his busy day, showed up when he said he would, was highly professional, completed the work quickly, and cleaned up after himself. I called out Point Loma Electric because I was getting some flickering lights in my house. I explained to the technician I thought maybe the power tools from the construction next door might be the cause but was not sure. And really I didn't think it was possible. The technician told me to first call SDGE and have them come out and check the lines that come from the pole to my house.  The Technician didn't want to start trouble shooting, possibly find nothing and have to charge me. He also didn't charge me for him to come out which I was more than willing to pay.

 I took his awesome advice and had a SDGE linemen come over and check his lines. It turns out I had a bad connection from the pole into my house. SDGE fixed the problem and it did not cost me anything since it was on the SDGE side. But the Linemen did suggest to replace the mast and line that comes into my house because the line was of lower grade and the current installation is not as safe as it could be. My house was built in 1960.

I then turned around and called out Point Loma Electric and asked for a quote on the work. They gave me a competitive quote and I didn't bother to call anyone else because I trusted they could do a great job. I was not home when the technician finished I went and checked the work and it all looked good except for a few minor details. I called Point Loma Electric and explained my somewhat dissatisfaction. I was very happy on the more than gracious response and integrity to make sure I was 100% satisfied. They came out again and fixed it all and made sure I was 100% satisfied before they left.

Luke was very responsive and flexible. Job involved wiring and installing several ceiling fans, sconces, can lights, a chandelier, and garage lighting, plus redoing an outdoor GFCI outlet. They were efficient and completed the job well with the estimated time. It was a pleasure having him do our stuff!

Had some weird outages going on throughout my house and Roddy took the time to narrow down and find the culprit, a bad meter clip. I was able to find a replacement part and Roddy replaced it. Friendly, thorough and professional work with great responsive communication. Attributes that are difficult to find in one place. He will be the first call I make the next time I have electrical needs.

A repairman came to check our oven which stopped functioning. He told us there was no power coming to the outlet and therefore we needed an electrician. White Horse Electric sent us someone who came on time and quickly showed us there was no problem with the outlet. The manager was very kind to send an invoice explaining there was no problem so we can go back to the appliance repair company with the proof they guided us wrong.

Picked Carlsbad Electric to install my 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet for EV charging because their quote was cheaper than the competitor. They came out next day and had the project done in about an hour. Install was clean and it works great! Quality service!

Mark and Mark Snyder Electric are truly amazing!!!  I can not express how knowledgeable and patient Mark is and how kind he was explaining so many things about our inverter/charger.  He always returned my calls quickly.  I highly recommend him and his company.

We were referred to Ideal Plumbing by my father in law, who is in the SD Executive Association with members of Ideal's ownership and staff.  We have attempted to use them on 3 separate occasions for our home A/C and heating repairs, and have had problems 2 out of 3 times, not with the actual service once they show up, but most times they have not shown up on the service date/time.  The most recent experience was today 7/23/09 when we called Monday 7/20/09 to schedule someone to come take a look at our A/C.  This is especially frustrating b/c my husband or I have taken off from work to be home during the estimated arrival time, only to be stood up with not even a phone call.  I guess we have bad luck with Ideal, but the third time is it for us, and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I hired Darrell to install aluminum cable railing for my San Diego home and he was all you could ask for: prompt, polite and professional. He provided a quote that was totally fair (not the cheaper and not the most expensive).  He showed up the night before to verify the location, the supplies and to confirm that's he'd be there the next day.  He finished the job beautifully and with great care.  I highly recommend this professional!

I needed to find and replace all aluminum wiring in an old house and update the circuit to current standards. It was a pretty complex project given the long history of changes by prior owners.  Zapp electric did this for me and had it done with a city permit and inspection.

Zach and Dallas were very professional. They explained the problems and helped solve each one as we uncovered them.

My niece just moved into my rental condo and second day in, her coffee pot tripped a circuit and the outlets on one wall would not come on including the frig. Carlos was able to come out the next day and diagnose the problem and replace the faulty circuit and spot another one that was broken and replaced it. He also put in a dimmer switch for me while he was there. A super nice guy as well. The fact that he was at least half the price of three other electricians I received quotes from and did a great job at fixing the problem deserves 10 stars. Highly recommend Checo Electric.
