I'm going to save you some time: if you need an electrician, these are the guys to call! Ed came over to fix something I had totally screwed up - which I thought was a huge problem - and within 5 minutes he diagnosed it and in 15 minutes had fixed it! And he was a very nice guy. Easy to see why they get 5 stars! Need an electrician? Call them!!!

I called Point Loma Electric to come and fix some electrical plugs and also check 3 GFI's. Hector came out and was right on time. I told him what I wanted done and he began to check everything and gave me a quote. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very patient with me because I was asking a lot of questions. He did the work and was very methodical in what he was doing. He double checked to make sure all is working. Hector is a class act!! Highly recommend!!!!!

I had major electrical issues and lost power randomly over and over and called 2 different electricians and they came out and not only gave higher prices but couldn't fix the issues. Craig came out and not only was timely and professional, but did fix the problem and knew exactly what to do and on top of that, the prices was a fraction of all competitors. Call core electric first and save the hassle!!

Our old solar inverter blew and not being the original owners we knew nothing about the system. Every company I contacted either wouldn't help or wanted to sell me a new system. I was referred to Mark from the manufacturer of our inverter. Mark was fast to respond and worked with me to figure out what our system was. It turns out the type of solar system we had is no longer common and tracking down a new inverter was difficult. Mark went above and beyond and did all the work to find one for us. One of his guys came out and installed it in a few hours and we are back to running on solar. I can't recommend Mark enough, without him we would probably have had to install a whole new system.

IDEAL put in my original AC/Furnace. They did a great job. After having the AC for about 10 years, there have been some problems as to be expected. I have tried to call them for repairs considering they installed my original unit however the price to come out is outrageous!!!  My AC went out on the hottest day of the year, they said to come out on a Saturday it would cost 200.00 which is there overtime rate and another 300.00 to just diagnose it! I found another company  on YELP who did it for 90.00 and came out on a Saturday. If you need that companies number let me know! IDEAL repair costs are ridiculous!

I hired Darrell to install aluminum cable railing for my San Diego home and he was all you could ask for: prompt, polite and professional. He provided a quote that was totally fair (not the cheaper and not the most expensive).  He showed up the night before to verify the location, the supplies and to confirm that's he'd be there the next day.  He finished the job beautifully and with great care.  I highly recommend this professional!

John is a professional you can trust!  He installed 2 bathroom exhaust fans in our home and he didn't leave a trace of mess or debris ~ what a breath of fresh air!  His fee was reasonable and communication with him was fast.  You will NOT be disappointed in hiring John for your electrical issues!

We called National city electric because we were selling our condo and needed to have GFI plugs installed and tested. I called left a message and was promptly called back. Spoke to Geraldo and he was at our condo in less than 30 minutes. Completed the work and did an excellent job. I usually do not do reviews but he was so wonderful and efficient that I had to leave him an excellent review. I highly recommended this company.

Nick and the entire staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, they did the electrical work for the addition at my house and the crew was so great. Easy to schedule and passed all inspections. Strongly recommend.

I have a very large and heavy barn door installed. The installers did an amazing job! When the proper tools weren't included, they even went to Lowes to get what I needed. They definitely went above and beyond.

OMG!!! This company is phenomenal!  We had to update our old radiant ceiling heating system and were at the end of our budget. We had totally remodeled our home and spent enough money as it was. Then we had to deal with bypassing the old system and having electric box heaters installed into the walls in 4 rooms. Scary as they would need to cut into the walls to do this.  After 5 other bids from local Electricians that would come out and ask us electrical questions we could not answer (which honestly scared us off) or saying they could probably do the the job) we found Service Rite Electric. They came out right away, told us what needed to be done and what type of power our system could support. They had an estimate in writing to us within the hour via email and came out the next day to do the work. They were finished in 2.5 hours and not one bit of mess! The new wall heaters looked gorgeous and work perfectly and since they finished in half the time, they took off $350.00 dollars!! Yes I definitely recommend this company! Fair, fast and friendly.

I never leave reviews but I felt like they deserved it. They did all the electrical for my kitchen renovation and did an outstanding job. The crew was very professional, they arrived on time every day and worked until the job was done. They were quick and cleaned up afterwards. I had some bad experiences with other contractors in the past but these guys restored my hope and their pricing was very fair. Will be using them for all further electrical needs :)

I own a small business with large kilns. I have found that not just anyone can or will work on our equipment. Half our unit's electricity went out, while we were open one morning. SDGE came out twice and couldn't help. I called Target Electric and within three hours they had arrived. I received good, clear communication, so my expectations were set appropriately. The amount billed was reasonable, but not cheap. If you want cheap you will get cheap. If you want a licensed electrician who is a member of the BBB, explains pricing, shows up on time, does excellent work & completely cleans up behind themselves, you can call this business & pay them a fair rate. I highly recommend it.

Christian was thorough, on time, and did what he promised to do.  Customer service was his goal.  He wanted to be sure I was happy with the work.  I highly recommend him.
