Called and Leo Reyes came but to trouble shoot outlets not working.  He was so thorough and found the culprit!  We will definitely use in the future and I highly recommend!!

We hired Jesus to replace some very old lighting fixtures in our home. The price was affordable and the work was exceptional. We have more projects to do in the future that we will definitely have Jesus do for us. We highly recommend him to anyone that needs electrical work done.

Went through Home Advisors to find an electrician to cut in a new line and tie it to a box outdoors. Chris McWay from McWay Electric called and made an appointment to take a look and offer an estimate. He showed up on time, looked at the project in question, and quickly told me what would be required to take care of it completely. The price was right, I asked him if he could do it right then and he said he could. Thirty minutes later everything was done, cleaned up, functioning properly, and he was first class all the way through the job. I was very impressed with the job he did and the manner in which he presented himself.

I had a problem with not having electricity on one of the wall, and I left a message on Yelp. Kevin called me on the phone and gave me very good instructions to reset the breaker and the plug on the wall, for free! Very friendly and patient. Thanks a lot!

We needed an electrician to install our Ring Doorbell and Camera Floodlights. I had reached out to 3 or 4 electricians based on reviews in our neighborhood NextDoor app. My first appointment showed up, we walked the property, and they indicated they would email an estimate. I had two other electricians come out for quotes. The latter two never sent their quote. The first electrician sent a quote and then vanished. Several months later I found Horton Electric on Yelp. Tom, the owner, offered excellent advice about the install and provided his quote promptly. He also had installed Ring equipment prior to our visit. Tom installed our Ring equipment impeccably. We could not be happier. He is competitive, highly-skilled, an excellent communicator, responsible, professional, and delivers high-quality work. He is now our go-to electrician.

Carlos came to my house about a week ago to provide an estimate for work to be done on a house we recently purchased.  I was very impressed with his professional and courteous approach to giving me a very well done written estimate.

Carlos and Vince came yesterday to perform the work.  They arrived right on time and proceeded to cover the work areas in plastic sheeting to keep areas clean.  Very nicely masked off and got right to work.  I had even shown them some additional work I wanted and some changes to the original proposal which made things slightly more difficult in my kitchen.  No problem for them and they got right to work.

Vince removed a hanging light in the family room and converted it over to 3 new can lights.  Very well laid out and he ensured the placement was correct before cutting the holes.  It came out perfect.  

Carlos worked on removing a ceiling fan in our kitchen, removing one can light, and converting it over to 2 new boxes for pendant lighting over our island.  All very well done and laid out.  Old box hole for fan and the recessed light that was removed were filled and texture coated to match the ceiling.  

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carlos and Vince to anyone needing work done.  I'm sure that we'll be calling them back after we get the interior of the house painted for install of ceiling fans and moving of more outlets/fixtures/etc.

Definitely a very well run business and deserving of 5 stars!

Had a last minute request and Dan came through for us. A simple job (redoing electrical connection on stove top) but the work was nicely done at a fair price.

Robert was a great find on Yelp. He came to fix our old caulking/grout for the kitchen countertop. He was professional and responsive on the call, came by that same day and did the job for the original cost of the estimate and in quick time. He was knowledgeable, reasonably priced and very easy to work with - explaining his approach and working in a clean and detailed manner. Another plus was that he is reachable by text - I sent him a few photos of the countertop and he responded right away. He also pointed out a potential issue where the island wasn't braced properly and was able to address it right there. I can't believe how long I waited dreading finding a person who could fix my project and it turned out to be so easy, thanks to Robert!

These guys did a service upgrade to 200 amps on my home. They did a great job. It was on time and looked great. 6 months after the work was done I got a letter from the city saying the permit had not had its final done and would require a new permit to be paid for because the first one had expired. When I called Smith electric they said they would take care of everything within a week and they did. They sent me a copy of the permit signed off by the city when it was all final and completed with the city done. These guys ROCK and I will use them again.

I hired Emerald Pacific Electric to install a 240v / 50-amp outlet in my kitchen, to make way for a brand new flat-top GE oven from Home Depot. I called and spoke to Chris (very nice, professional, and down to earth guy!) and we scheduled him to come to my apartment at 10:00am on May 1st, 2014.

My apartment is 30+ years old (as was my old oven!), and the old oven itself was hard-wired to the wall (via a crusty cable coming out of the wall and plugged into the back of the oven). This old, hard-wired configuration is out-dated and not up to code for the installation any new, modern oven.

On the date of our scheduled appointment, Chris called me about 45min prior and asked if he could come early. I told him absolutely (early is always good)! Chris arrived, and within an hour, he had the old cable trimmed down to the wall (fortunately the cable's internal wiring was well shielded and fully intact), and attached and installed it into a clean, fresh new outlet!

What I really appreciated is Chris' level of precision. When he went outside to grab an additional tool item (about halfway into the job), I took a peek at his project. Chris had installed a brand new inside-of-the-wall square enclosure for the outlet to reside in and protect it from any surrounding interference (prior to connecting the wires).

That level of detail right there showed me someone who takes their craft very seriously and does their very best during even the smallest of jobs. Chris also cleaned up his work area tidily and immaculately once the outlet was fully installed. In fact the area was cleaner than I had left it before Chris even arrived!

Oh and did I mention that the new oven performs like a rockstar? That's 50-amps of pure cookin' kapow, baby!

Great work and fair price. Eduardo made sure everything was up and working. He was very friendly and thorough with the job. The project was to install extra outlets and recessed lighting in my garage. After the work he left the area spotless. Will do business again!

I needed a DTV dish and associated cables removed from my 2nd story roof. A Google search gave me three options in San Diego. One was a disconnected number, one gave me a bid of almost $300. I went with Rainer for less than half of that. The job was finished the next day. Rainer kept me updated, did a great job, hauled away the old dish, cleaned up and made payment easy. Best of all, I don't have to look at any satellite junk cluttering up my roof.

We needed a ceiling fan outlet and installation in our loft. Response was quick and they were able to send someone out the following week! He also took some time at the end and looked at one of the outlets we've been having trouble with in our garage. Redhawk Electric will be out go-to electrician company moving forward since they are local to us!
