Best Sconce Light Repair in San Antonio TX
Hired Bolt to install a GFCI circuit to my newly created deck. Great customer service ... she (Wendy) kept me up to date and was able to accept photos via text. My tech (Daryl) was super friendly and let me peek over this shoulder as he explained his techniques. Will definitely use them again!!!

Sorry Troy, appointment was from 0800 to 1000. Either someone on your team is lying to you or they don't have their crap together. See the screenshot I'm posting that your team sent me.

Mario arrived quickly and got the job done. I had a dusk to dawn floodlight installed on my dental office building. I purchased the light from Amazon. The install took about 2 hours tops. Mario left the area neat and clean and showed me how the light works. The cost was $450. I don't know about pricing so I don't know if it was a fair price but I was happy with the quick service. Another company couldn't come out for 2 weeks.

Another stellar job by the guys at Max. We had a fast turnaround small job and they were able to accommodate and came significantly under price compared to others we got quotes from. These are my go to electricians and they should be yours too!

Great team (Louis and Rosalinda) and great service.
Initial concerns leading to this particular call:
*No power in one of our bathrooms
*Non-responsive outdoor flood light
*Dead (or sometimey) outlets in the kitchen and two other rooms
* Overall electrical condition of our new, older, home
I reached out and was scheduled by Mrs. Rosalinda quickly for my growing list of electrical concerns. It literally seemed like one thing after another was cutting off or going out: power inside, power outside, and no amount of flipping breakers was making a difference.
Mr. Louis and assistant arrived, smiles on their masked faces (you can tell by the eyes) and immediately got to work. They checked for power all over the home, inside and out, and asked questions, which I like. They were thorough because even though the fancy current gadget showed power, they noticed our microwave failed to work in the same outlet. They did additional investigation, identified and and fixed the problem, once and for all.
They also replaced a finnicky island outlet and replaced our kitchen ceiling bulbs which have been in disorder for some time.
Mr. Louis went on to add that if any problems continued to occur, to not hesitate in calling back.
Final diagnosis, the overall wiring in the home does not need to be replaced, but we would do well to swap out a few old surge protectors.
So, without hesitation I'll continue to use and recommend L&R. They're the full package, reliable, responsive, honest and best of all, they know what they're doing.
As I look at my service specialty list, I can say: Electricians...check.

THE BEST ELECTRICIAN!!! I tried to change batteries on the smoke detectors and ran into problems, started beeping; I called Mr Solis who had fixed some electrical switches before and was able to fix the problem, and found out the the wiring connection that communicates among the smoke detectors in all 3-floor were not connected, he fixed that and also took the time to label switch / breaker box. To top it all I needed to change my a/c filters and he was kind enough to do that as well. THANK YOU SO MUCH for going the extra mile!

Bryan & Art are true professionals.
After installing a circuit for us in a new location over our buffet, our microwave stopped working. I contacted them. And they came out first opportunity early in the day. The cause was the receptacle on the wall had a wire that was marginally connected. So in time with current heat, causing expansion and contraction of the wire it loosened. They reconnected the wires onto the screw connectors. They diagnosed the problem and were in an out in less than 30 minutes. AND, when they say they will be here at a certain time, they are. I highly recommend you do business with Brian and Art of Fusion Electric.

I have worked with Krista, Rick and Howard on multiple occasions. On separate occasions, they installed a generator hookup/transfer switch on my house, moved buried electrical and have come out to fix warrantee work (same day!). I really like working with these guys and they do good work for a fair price.

I had used Olveda Electrical for a few small jobs. As such, when we were ready to do a pretty significant remodel to our home, I asked our contractor to use Olveda's because I wanted to give him the work since he had been great with us in the past. Our contractor had an electrician he wanted to use, but he deferred and went with ours because I asked him to.
So, now we are into the remodel, demo has happened, frames are up, and it is time for electrical and HVAC to pull their permits and get their part going. Olveda came out on a Wednesday to look at the site and make plans. He said he was going to pull the permit that day or Thursday and would start the work Friday or Saturday, but would definitely be done over the weekend. OK. No problem.
So, Friday comes, and no word from him. Didn't think too much of it as he said would either be Friday or Saturday and he had always been reliable before. I messaged him around Noon on Friday letting him know I would be around most of the day whenever he wanted to come by, and again Friday night to ask he if knew what time he was planning to come the next day so that I could be around and have the house opened up for him. I did not get a response to either message. In the past he had always responded to texts very quickly. Now all of a sudden, he was not responding to texts at all.
Because of this, I called him on Saturday to see what was going on. At that time, I was informed that the permit had not been pulled. And, in addition, because he is not a master electrician, he is not able to pull permits in the first place. This is the first time he mentioned this. He told me at the time that he had a master who pulled permits for him and he had asked him to pull it but he had not heard back, but that it would get done on Monday. Monday morning I message him to ask if he had heard back from his guy, and I received no response.
Now we are in a situation of having no permit, the HVAC is done and ready to be inspected, and we cannot move forward on our renovation because the electrical work can't get done. So, we had to pull Olveda's off the job and go with the other electrician who then had to pull the permit, get materials, do the work, and get it inspected.
This issue cost us roughly 10 days on the job in delays at a time when we are majorly stressed. We have this going on, which is bad enough, but we also have a baby coming in just a couple of weeks, our young son had to have surgery, and we have family coming to stay from out of the country.
I waited two weeks to write this update because I didn't want to do it until I had calmed down, and frankly, I didn't want to do it at all. But here we are, 5 days away from our guests coming, and the renovation, which would have been done already, is several days away from being complete because of this.
If you have smaller jobs, I would imagine he will continue to do a good job. But, if you have bigger projects, it would probably be smarter to go another direction.
One of the more frustrating parts of this is that he had any number of opportunities to tell us or the contractor that he could not pull permits and that this would be a problem, but did not do it until we were in the middle of the renovation.

Great work. Excellent prices. Kaleb is a great guy to work with. He swapped out some old rusty fluorescent light fixture in a carport for a new LED version. It looks great. Big improvement. He also helped with a ceiling fan inside that was falling apart. And he's coming back to replace a broken ceiling fan in another room. Very professional, excellent work.
Highly recommended.

In progress work with Colvin Electric( to be continued....)
Currently, we have purchased a hottub and based on reviews that I have read Colvin Electric was recommended. I firmly believe that workmanship, communication, and respect from both parties are placed above cost. So I called and booked an appointment; initially there earliest appointment was on Wednesday(I'm calling on a Monday). I thought no big deal because I was excited to get this project done. After I wrapped up work projects on Monday I decided to call back just to see if he had any cancellations.... and they did; Tuesday between 2-5 and my kids were excited because it is almost time to enjoy the new purchase.
Tuesday rolls around.... Colvin communicated with me during the day and informed me that Francisco would be showing up at 2pm. Colvin sent me his photo and a little bio which I was extremely impressed with. He was on time at 2pm; wearing COVID precautions which I appreciated and was extremely friendly to my wife and I. We showed him around and walked him back to where we wearing needing it hooked up and he was extremely grateful. He informed us about the additional service plans they offer and surge protection options, which was not expected but it made us consider purchasing. He told us that he would work up an estimate including the additional 120v outlet we were wanting as well. He walked into our backyard multiple times taking measurements and at 3:50 he came back with our estimate. While it was a little higher than I thought we really liked him and appreciated his communication and attention to detail. He told us that he would contact his manager and let us know when they would be back out because they would need to trench an area to ensure it was up to code. Of course we were not expecting the work to be done today but hoping it would be done over the next two days. He came back after and told us that they would be out first thing in the morning on Wednesday(next day)at 9am. My kids were excited, we signed for the work, and also accepted the monthly maintenance plan(can't complain saved us 10%) and he left.
Fast forward.... 20 minutes later... we receive a call from the Colvin office. A rep informed us that they can't be out here till Friday because of his schedule. I said I'm sorry I am a little confused, he just left and told me tomorrow. I don't know what happened over 20 minutes but ok. This is a little perturbing since I signed knowing he would be here tomorrow but ok. I called back 4 minutes after and asked if there was a waiting list. She said if 2-4 jobs are cancelled then they can move me up.
Friday has arrived and David and Francisco were prompt and on time. I received information on the addition resource(David) needed for my job and couldn't have been more impressed. These guys worked all day and my kids continually brought gatorades and waters out because it was so hot. They were extremely friendly and let me know throughout the day how the progress was coming. They additionally took care of the recent yard work we had done basically making it look like the new electric work was done after. What can I say about Colvin Eectric: outstanding work, outstanding employees, and they treat you like family. Don't go anywhere else.

The quality ,professionalism, workmanship is spot on! We were looking to add 4 LED living room lights to ceiling with a smart dimmer switch, I do consider myself a good handyman..But this was a project left to experience ! And with multiple wires needed and adding a extra wall switch alongside via ceiling ya get the picture. Communication and understanding what we were looking for and them explaining made everything easy. If your looking for residential electrical please call on them quote was spot on and they made sure all lights, outlets, switch's worked. Love the way it looks !!!! Thanks

I had what turned out to be a minor short in a light fixture (if there is such a thing!). The owner, Andy, was prompt in his response and got a call scheduled quickly; Adam got it diagnosed and fixed within the first hour he was here. When I decided to have a security light installed over the front walk I contacted Live Oak again. Got the same professional response and prompt scheduling. Aaron took care of the project, answering my questions and helping me decide which lighting option best fit my needs. Prompt, courteous, professional - I'm glad to have found them because my 30+ year old house is bound to have more electrical surprises in store for me.
