Best Recessed Light Repair in San Antonio TX

I previously reviewed regarding installation of 5 fans in a timely manor. Bolt revisited and installed two more for us with the same excellent service. We have more work planned in the future and will be calling this company to perform the tasking.

I recently had the pleasure of engaging with a member of the All Star Electric team. I can not emphasize enough how grateful I am for their quick and efficient resolution.

Despite not being physically on site, they took the time to thoroughly understand my problem, diagnosed the issue, and walked me through how to resolve the issue safely myself.

They were able to come to the house within 24 hours of our first contact, and did the job for a very reasonable price in much less time than we anticipated. Would definitely use Electrimax for future projects and would confidently recommend them to our friends and family.

Pros:  Came out within 30 mins of me calling them. The hour rate quoted on the phone was $100 plus repairs. That was $50 less than everyone else I called and none of them could make it out that day.

Cons: don't expect any kind of wiggle room on the price if it turns out that you are an idiot and never needed to call an electrician in the first place.

Let me explain. The can lights in our kitchen, recently remodeled, stopped working. For 6 months my wife and I have exclusively used one switch on the countertop to control these lights. A week ago they cut out. We had completely forgotten about the other 3-way switch in the hallway because it had been blocked by boxes and other things from the move. The switch didn't even exist in our minds. 2 seconds into the electrician coming into the house he flips the switch and I have a good laugh. Problem solved in my mind. Since he's made the trip out I ask him to take a look at some other things. My thinking being.  Ok, I'm out $100 minimum for a silly mistake, let's try to knock out some other simple things. I had a ceiling fixture that needed a shallow breaker box. I hadn't been able to find one at a big box store. I asked him to quote me on that. We had some confusion at the beginning that I will give him the benefit of the doubt on. Originally i was thinking he wanted to charge me an extra $100 diagnostic fee. Plus a charge for a repair. It wasn't until I complained and we went back and forth a little that he came off the extra $100! Or I could of been reading the situation wrong and it was a misunderstanding. I specifically remember him saying it was $100 minimum per issue though. So we move on. He tells me it's $75 for the shallow breaker box. I ask him if since the other one was such a silly mistake if he could do $150. Still in my mind that's damn near highway robbery but I thought that would be doable and a nice gesture on their part since it was laughable how stupid I'd been to call them. He stays firm on the $75. I don't push the issue anymore. I let him spend 5-10 mins putting 2 screws in and run my card for $175.

Long story short. I'm an idiot. Monday's suck. I should of been an electrician. And don't expect any kind of good faith gesture in silly scenarios like this. A price is a price is a price.

My review was pretty clear and 100% honest and accurate.
*You came in.
*Turned on a light switch (to fix a silly mistake that my wife and I missed).
*Used two screws to install a shallow breaker box that I couldn't find at Home Depot. You charged me $175.
* In my house total for probably 8 mins.

People can decide for themselves if they think that is a fair and going rate. I'm glad you have thousands of happy customers. Sorry that one of them gets a little annoyed when they feel like they just got hosed.

The technician (DJ) that came out was professional, courteous and respectful.  He wore a mask and put on booties when inside my house.  

He first listened carefully to my description of the electrical issue and was able to quickly zero in on the problem.  Explained everything he was doing.

He was knowledgeable and efficient... was able to resolve my issue in a very reasonable amount of time.

I would definitely recommend them.

Had some GFCI outlets in the kitchen go bad-16 years old, so it was time. Louis was able to come out same day, troubleshoot and replace two outlets for $193. Fast service, great value. Can't beat it!  I'd call Louis again for anything electrical at my house!

Called first thing in the morning and he was at my house within a matter of hours. He came prepared and had the parts he needed to replace in his truck. Extremely fast and friendly service. It was so nice to get this taken care of quickly and have  the rest of my day to run errands. No one likes waiting around and I really did not have to! To top it all off, the prices were significantly cheaper than all of the other places that I called. Highly recommend!

Perfection.  Paul installed some pendant lights for us.  He was able to do the job immediately.  Charged a fair price.  And his work was PERFECT.  He even had to cut a small hole in the ceiling and patched it up for us.  We can't even tell there was a hole there.  Super nice guy.  Knows his stuff.  Finished the job in less than a a day- and it was a tricky one as we didn't really have the right kind of set up in place to do lights in that particular spot.  But Paul figured out a way and made it happen.  Highly recommended.

Our Christmas lights kept going out and killing everything on the same circuit so I called our home warranty company HWA to file a claim. Rick (the owner) came out to fix it a few days later. It was freezing cold but he took the time to determine which wire was causing it to trip. He also replaced the GFC and was patiently waiting to see if the lights would go back out. I also asked about a quote for another job and he provided a few options and quote on the spot.

Will definitely be using Olveda again, he was quick to respond and give me quotes and to come out and get the job I needed done. Thank you for your service!!

Great work. Excellent prices. Kaleb is a great guy to work with. He swapped out some old rusty fluorescent light fixture in a carport for a new LED version. It looks great. Big improvement. He also helped with a ceiling fan inside that was falling apart. And he's coming back to replace a broken ceiling fan in another room. Very professional, excellent work.

My main breaker was tripped and no other electrician services were available for same day service. Homer was able to come out and did a great job identifying the short circuit in my main panel. He then went to get the materials for me on the same day replacing the entire panel and breakers. Great communication and service! Highly recommended.

I am so happy to have found McDavitt Electric and Master Electrician, Clayton! I found him online and took a chance because he was within 5 miles of my house. He replied to my email within the hour, and made a same-day appointment with me. I had a long list of electrical jobs to be done, but one was a top priority. Clayton had it done that day, and I will have him back to work on the other jobs next week. He was punctual, friendly, thorough, and did excellent work. My husband and I appreciate the fact that he didn't offer us just one way to complete each job--he gave us several viable options and let us decide how we wanted to have things done. I was without power and completely dead in the water when I called Colvin Electric.  They had someone out the next morning and diagnosed the issue, went and picked up the parts and got my power turned back on in a VERY quick turnaround.  Highly recommend.

This company is Grade A!  Everything about the way they operate is top notch; punctual, responsive, courteous and capable of handling all electrical needs.  I'll be using them for all electrical needs, going forward.

Second review of Fusion, we use these guys because they are good, efficient, polite and provide good value. I hate reviewers that complain about tradesman that do work you and I can't. Art and Nathan were a little late today but they called and said they would be. When they got here we went over our list of electrical wants, they listened and got right to work. There was absolutely no resting for these guys, they worked hard for 4 hours and deserve every compliment they get. We will keep using Bryan and company because they represent hard working people doing work that makes us happy.
