Very helpful and honest company. They were able to complete the requested work very quickly. I would definitely use them again.

We had a problem with our heat pump (heat and A/C).  They said repairing the unit was not cost effective and that I should replace the unit, so I did.  At multiple times, I told them I would prefer to keep my new Nest thermostat instead of buying a new one, and they kept telling me that it was not good enough for the unit I was buying.  

After they were done and the final payment was made, the same person from Mason Mechanical said I could always replace the new thermostat with a Nest if it was 3rd generation.  I pointed out that that is exactly what I already had.  The man from MM said he thought it was older.  The old thermostat had been right there on the wall.  There is no excuse for his not checking it out, unless it was to increase the sale.  So, either he was incompetent or dishonest.  Either way, I would advise against using this company.

Edit:  After this review was posted, Mason Mechanical contacted me and resolved the issue -- they put back my old thermostat and refunded me the cost of the one they installed.

I would give this family business a million shooting stars if I could! Ryan is patient, has great attention to detail, is very considerate of our home when he does work for us and has a great, friendly attitude. We feel that his prices are fair & reasonable and I would encourage you to reach out to him if you're in need of help. You won't be disappointed and you'll be patronizing a small business that is deserving!

Eddie was great and has years of experience! He answered my call for dryer help on a Saturday and arranged to come Monday. He was early and very knowledgeable on what was wrong with our dryer. Immediately he presented us with our options and even expressed how we could save money. He quoted us an honest price and didn't add charges in the end. Eddie actually left our house and got the part we needed very quickly, returning and finishing the job the same day. He was very friendly and trustworthy. We will definitely be calling Eddie first, next time we need a handy man.

We have had clogged drain issues for the last year and we had Daryl R out last week to assess.  The pipes were so clogged that it was too difficult to snake and see anything with a camera.  Daryl advised we use Bio Clean for a week.  He came back out today and spent many hours snaking, using the camera and then we ended up hydro jetting the pipes.  The clogs are now gone and for the first time in 46 years we have clean pipes.  Was relieved that we didn't have any broken pipes/lines and very grateful that Daryl inspected, assessed and recommended the right approach. He was very professional, friendly and worked hard on a muggy rainy day.  Would recommend Daryl and George Brazil for drain service.
