Best Fluorescent Light Repair in Philadelphia PA
I hired Greg to install a GFCI box to replace a troublesome outlet. Greg arrived on time with the necessary materials and deftly assessed the situation. He QUICKLY completed the job and charged me exactly the price he quoted over the phone (even though the work was a bit more involved than either of us thought).
Afterwards, he willingly checked the surrounding wiring and made me aware of any items that may require attention. It was strictly informational and did not contain any tales of horror to get me to use his services again.
Greg was very professional and personable. He had a wealth of knowledge and was very helpful and insightful when I discussed some future work I was considering. And his pricing -- VERY reasonable.

We have used Jim & Sons a few times now, particularly because they were always among the most responsive electricians. Nothing worse than never having your calls picked up or emails answered. They were also great in an emergency situation where we needed someone out basically next day, and they squeezed us in. Prices seemed fair in general. We will continue to use them and would recommend

The people at ITech Electric were great to work with. Tony was quick to respond and understanding when I had to delay the initial walkthrough. It was very professional and I appreciated it. Each person was courteous and respectful of the home. I had 4 ceiling fans and recess lighting installed in separate rooms. Terry and Edison were informative and walked me through everything they were going to do in addition to explaining it. The job was finished within 1 day and they made sure to stick around until I was fully satisfied. I definitely recommend them and would do business with them again.

The experience with FMJ Electrical was exceptional from the start. A wonderful person answering the phone, smart and efficient. It was an emergency and they arrived so fast. Frank was very professional , his shirt was so clean and pressed. First impressions are everything! Frank and his crew fixed the electrical service in hours. His crew was well prepared, qualified and knowledgeable and they also recommended a inspector to come out to do a complete inspection for PECO. Everyone is so personable. Work ethics are top notch!!! I will definitely make use of their services again and will highly recommend. I was so impressed with the professionalism and level of expertise. Call them first!

PG came out to restore power to our doorbell. They replaced the transformer quickly and without issue. They were right on time, professional, and did good work at a good price. Also good communication

Had a simple kitchen light fixture and light switch replacement job. Alba answered my call right away, provided an estimate within an hour, and had the job done within three hours of my call. Everyone was courteous and professional. I'll be calling back for other issues in the future.

Chris does great work! We just had 2 ceiling fans replaced, new recessed lighting installed, and a giant TV mounted. I had gotten quotes from a few electricians and others said they could mount the TV but would have to run an extension cord to it. Chris was able to install a new outlet behind it so it looks seamless. All the work was done perfectly. So glad to have found such a friendly and reliable electrician!

Very happy with the service that Wade provided. When the doorbell system at our building went out, I called them up and set up an appointment. They showed up as promised, got to the bottom of the problem, and got us up and running again! 5 Stars.

Thomas Edison Electric did a thorough job. I have been overwhelmingly pleased with the outcome. Their work was meticulous, and done in a very professional manner. They were punctual, courteous, and the electricians were neat and clean. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

I hired Fortech to rewire a doorbell that hasn't worked properly the entire time I've lived in my house (5+ years). I recently decided get it fixed because I got a doorbell camera. 2 other electricians couldn't figure out the problem and just said rewire it.
First of all Fortech was super responsive and gave me a reasonable quote over the phone before they came out. And they came out within like 2 business days of my initial inquiry. The guys that came out were very thorough and spent a long time working on the bell until they figured out the problem...& it didn't need to be rewired. Meanwhile I had received a $1200 quote from another company to rewire and ended up paying significantly less...and my doorbell works! I would definitely hire them again for future projects.

Raul helped us renovate a commercial property and was very polite. The quote was fair and him and his team completed it in a timely manner. I am excited to work with them again in the future!

Very satisfied. Fast, efficient, friendly and professional. Had an electrical outlet that was sparking, and needed it looked at. Glenn was here in about an hour and made the repairs, checked everything out, got full power restored to the entire house in short order, and explained what had happened & what he did. Will definitely call G&R Electric again for my electrical needs :).

Fayiz is a great professional with an economical pricing for his services. He responded quickly and was at my place within 20 minutes. Fixed up everything and was out in time as well. All in all a great experience.
UPDATE:- My lights were out again next week due to a different issue and Fayiz swung by instantly and fixed it up free of charge. It was very generous and kind of him to do that, again, on a Sunday.

Don is a really nice guy. I purchased an old row home with lots of old/shoddy wiring. He updated as many of the outlets as possible in preparation for an upcoming rewire job. Basically, he got the house so the electrical is safe and reliable while I save up the big bucks for the larger rewire job.
Pros: He's a guy, not a company, so you always deal with him directly. He's a hard worker, and will always be honest about the depth/scope of the work needed. He's clean and neat--when he worked at my place he laid down numerous cushioned drop cloths, swept up, and took all of his mess with him when he left. He was also really nice to my hardwood floors. I think messy job sites are a pet-peeve of his. He's incredibly knowledgeable and totally let's you pick his brain.
Cons: There's really only one. He's really scatter-brained and hard to schedule. Like every other great contractor, he books out weeks (if not months) in advance. He doesn't have a receptionist or anything, so you end up having to call and remind him about the job 2 days prior, then the day of. It's annoying, but a small price to pay for good work. I'm always weary of tradesmen whose schedules are wide open.
He mostly works out by Chestnut Hill but would venture farther into Philly if you sweet talk him into it. I'm planning my rewire job for the spring, so you can bet I'll be setting up dates with him in February.
