Best Door Services in Philadelphia PA
I had Gen 3 rewire my house years ago and am hiring them again to install a pendant light in the dining area. Manny was professional, courteous and methodical with his work. He listened to my ideas and explained the scope of the work. He worked with me to mark the exact place and height I want the pendant light to be and made sure there was no debris left from the work afterwards. It's not easy dealing with a hundred year old house, thank you so much for your help!

Greg answered my Yelp quote request quickly, and walked me through what I needed to do to fix my breaker over message. No need for him to come and no cost to me!
I am so grateful and impressed and looking forward to hiring him for future projects.

We had a big box store come to install a new washer dryer and haul away the old ones. Once they saw the old set was hard wired, they said they were not able to touch it until a plug was installed. iTech came out in less than 24 hours to repair, was within service window, did the work quickly, and was very reasonable in cost. Installers were kind and walked through what they planned to do and then had me inspect after completing. Highly recommend and will use again for other electric needs!

While I didn't hire them, I found them to be very thorough in the repair explanation, extremely responsive from the first call and the written estimate very thorough. I am postponing the repair.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and handy. Affordable and well worth the money. CJ is so warm and charming. He came to check out the circuit breaker, his original job for coming to my home. Well I had a ring nest doorbell that had been sitting on my table for almost a year and CJ was more than happy to oblige me. Thank you CJ, you're the best. Will definitely be acquiring services from here on out. Gotta give a shout out to Pops as well. My motto now is One and Dunn!!!

PG came out to restore power to our doorbell. They replaced the transformer quickly and without issue. They were right on time, professional, and did good work at a good price. Also good communication

Very educational and responsive. However, we weren't able to move forward with hiring them (maybe in the future) to due the 95 dispatch fee. I still would recommend them given how professional and respectful they are.

Excellent service from initial quote, to work completion. PEM is a trustworthy, efficient, and friendly local company to have work performed. From initial quote, the team has been extremely communicative and even offered to perform work earlier than scheduled based off electrician availability. The entire process was super easy. Thank You!

Tom and his trainee installed a ceiling fan in my 4th bedroom. It is beautiful and they know what they are doing. The office staff are so friendly. Quick easy service. They never disappoint.

Best electrician ever! I am so happy to find him. He came out on a Sunday evening. He is personable and reasonable. I will be calling him again for more electrical work. This is a guy you can trust.

Highly recommend!! I had to get lots of work done on my home per a home inspection report and the township's C.O. Michael came out at 7:30 in the morning and worked off of a checklist, completing everything before noon. Very friendly, very professional, very competent. Brian (the owner) ensured that everything was working before they left. The price was reasonable, and I will certainly use them again. Great job, McGoldrick and Paul!

Great did a super job fixing my husband's favorite chair! He knew what he needed- I got it- and then he came to the house to fix it. I'm so thankful... way to go Steve! Thank you.

I hardly ever post reviews but the service from Wade was so great that I am going to put aside the lazy part of me. Wade answered my inquiry within a hour and set up an appointment for the next day. My doorbell was not working and he was able to diagnose the issue on the spot, where I had multiple inspectors and contractors unable to figure it out before him. His prices are also very reasonable and to top it off, he's a great guy!

The technician was kind and even walked me through what he was doing and things I should be aware of. The response time was quick and the job was done efficiently and effectively.

I called this company on a hot summer day when my tenant called me and told me her power went off. I was running around town with my two kids, so in a hurry I decided to call the first company I saw on yelp. I really wish I had taken more time to look for a more reputable company.
First, be aware that this company has multiple listings for different locations all over the city. If you look at their other listings, you will see the many poor reviews that they have received.
I received multiple phone calls from different people after my initial service request. They repeatedly told me that there is a $165 charge for emergency dispatch, and that once they do an inspection, they will let me know what the cost of the actual work will be. When the technician got to the house, a guy named Steven Miller called me and said he wanted me to pay the dispatch fee upfront before anything is done. He then sent me an email to get my written authorization to charge the credit card. All of this seemed a bit odd to me... the multiple phone calls, the written authorization, the fee up front... but I didn't think too much of it and just proceeded.
About 10 minutes after I paid for the dispatch fee, Steve calls me back with his technician on the phone to tell me that they have to charge me another fee for the diagnostic. I told them that my understanding was after spending $165 they would be able to tell me what's wrong and give me an estimate on the cost of the work. He then proceeded to repeat everything that he and another one of his employees had already told me over the phone multiple times. I told him that I did not feel comfortable proceeding forward and that I was going to call around to see if other companies have similar practices. He then had his other employee (a woman with a courteous voice) call me to try to reason with me. I told her again that I was going to call around and if this is common practice, then that's fine, but if not then I will be leaving a long review for them.
I got off the phone with the woman and called another local electrician. This man was honest, prompt and straightforward. He came out within half hour and fixed the problem for me under 10 minutes and charged me a third of what Thomas Edison had quoted me for simply coming out and finding out what the problem is (not including any work done).
Needless to say, I will be sticking with my honest electrician from now on. Steve did call me again to tell me that he would not charge me the $165 as a courtesy to make me happy. I thought for a second about not leaving a bad review, but I decided that I cannot let this company get away with unethical practice. This company needs to know that people are not stupid and this kind of bait and switch business practice will only backfire. Simple honesty, trustworthiness and respect for people is the way to go.

Outside gfi needed replacement
Before they even come out they take your credit card number, assess a 95.00 service fee, call back / text multiple times to confirm service then even before someone arrives, steps foot on property to look at the problem state charge of 340.00.
Never seen anything like this. We cancelled service and had another company do it the old fashioned way. Come out, assess fix problem and charge for their services 100.00
