This was the third time that I have used this company. The first two times were positive experiences where the work was done well and priced fairly ($90 for a replacement of a light fixture ballast and $40 for an outlet replacement). Unfortunately, this week I had a garbage disposal switch break, and immediately thought of Generation 3. They came out quickly and replaced the switch in about 15 minutes. Then came the bill: $150. When we asked for a breakdown of the bill to get a better idea of why the charge was so large, the owner told us that it was an extra fee to cover the inconvenience of sending an employee to Center City. We won't be using them again.

I called Greg to see if he would be interested in giving me a quote for my project. Unfortunately, Greg was booked and unable to come out in my time frame. He did however ask me to send him photos of my project and talked me through each detailed step I need to take. He even told me to call him back with any questions. What an incredibly nice guy. Customer service like this is non-existent in this era. Thanks again!!!

Edison and Tony arrived on time.  They were professional and successfully fixed three issues my 90 yr-old mother was having in her house, thoroughly explaining everything that they found and were going to do.  I feel they were a little pricey for the work done, but it was worth feeling confident that the jobs were done right.

They grounded and updated the whole house in 2 days. Now we're safe thanks to FMJ. They are nice and reliable as well.

I had an issue with one of my properties in port Richmond losing power in the kitchen and bathroom. We tried flipping the breakers off and on and that didn't work so needed a solution quick. I sent out a request on Yelp for electricians and Charles replied promptly. He offered emergency services to come out and troubleshoot at a reasonable rate (this was Friday night at 9pm) and mentioned if it could wait, it would be a lesser rate the next day. I decided on the next day and he offered me a generous time window. The next day he arrives half and hour early and texts me to give me a heads up and then he proceeds to work. In the end the voltage loss was due to wiring and he redid some of the wiring for a reasonable price. I was not at the property at the time but Charles gave me an option to view the invoice over email and make payment securely online. Overall I was thoroughly impressed with his response time and his ability to help me out when I was in a pickle without overcharging. Definitely will contact Charles again for future electric projects.

PG came out to restore power to our doorbell. They replaced the transformer quickly and without issue. They were right on time, professional, and did good work at a good price. Also good communication

I'd call them....amazing. The tech was very professional, knew exactly what to do, and completed the job. The cost was quite reasonable, as well. Our tech, Hector, arrived exactly when we were told. The team at Thomas Edison were really nice and easy to talk with. So, yeah, amazing.

David came 10 minutes earlier that was originally estimated. With confidents and professionalism, the issue with the power outlets was resolved in very short time.

Service was fast and the electrician was knowledgeable and thorough in diagnosing and resolving several wiring issues in my older home.

Our experience with Joel and Aratech was fantastic! Joel was prompt and was efficient with his time. Our kitchen now has recessed lighting and our dining room have the chandelier. We couldn't be happier. To top it all off, Joel made adjustments and worked with us to come under budget in the end!  We highly recommend Aratech to anyone in need of an electrician.

I bought a house 5 years ago and we have always been hesitate to call an electrician since we thought it was going to cost a lot with all the projects we had.  I messaged Alba Electric and within 10 minutes got a response and he was on my way to give me a quote for our dishwasher not working (outlet was out) and splitting the wires for the fan and the light.  He gave me a very reasonable quote.  The whole process from me sending a message on yelp to him walking out the door only took 2 hours and he's such a sweetheart!   Found my go to guy for my electrical needs!  He knows what he's talking about so message him!!

Brian and Michael arrived as scheduled and were very professional and polite. They worked quickly and efficiently. I now have a dedicated outlet for my new over the range microwave.  If needed I would gladly use them again!

I called wade the afternoon before my service day and Wade was there the next morning. He was prompt and professional. I needed a new thermostat line ran as I was told by a heating professional. I explained what was going on with my tenants thermostat, she was unable to control her heat as there was a break in the wiring any where from the 2nd floor to the basement. Wade surveyed the each floor to find where the issue was and to see if a new wire needed to be ran and/or if the break in the line was in the wall or not)....long story short Wade saved me $100 as he found out no new wiring was needed he would just repair the existing wiring as it was not broken in the wall, he also properly secure the wiring to avoid any future issues. My tenant was able to control their heat that same day with no issues. Thanks Wade for you electrical expertise and customer service! I will definitely recommend Wade for electrical services and will be using him in the future.

I thought that this company did a great job from start to finish.
They are a first class operation all the way. I was amazed that they were prompt for the scheduled appointment time. Randy took his time taking the needed precautions to protect our marble flooring with clean drop cloth. The work area was immaculate after they completed installing all of the recessed lighting. Love this company and the two staff electricians that were dispatched to my home. I was pretty nervous to contact an electrician from an online google search, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were honest, fast, explained well and repaired shoddy electrical work that I had done. I am truly grateful that they quickly restored electricity to my home, in time for my first Thanksgiving in my new home!
