I find Ben of Ben's Electric to be very unresponsive, unfortunately. I requested that he do some work, and he confirmed that he would be at the subject property two Fridays ago. Unfortunately, he never went to the property, and never communicated back to me that he hadn't gone and wasn't going to go. I'm very disappointed with his service, and wish Ben were a better communicator so I would have been able to have the work done promptly by someone that cares.

This company deserves five plus stars!
Not many contractors are punctual, efficient and reasonably priced:
Hayes is!
They communicated extremely well and even returned my call on a Saturday afternoon when I had a question.
Chad was wonderful Mary was wonderful and we received the owner's card, he was also terrific!
I highly recommend Hayes Electric!

The power shut off in exactly half my house - but it wasn't a breaker issue. I researched electricians and called Barnett.
They were prompt, and told me the issue was not one they could fix, it was an electrical company issue. They told me exactly what to tell OG&E, and OG&E fixed it.
While they were there, I asked about upgrading my wiring to code standard, since my house was built in the 1940's and the wiring has never been upgraded. They quoted me a price that was affordable.
I have a plan for repairing and upgrading my house, and they are on my list (deep clean so all the repairmen can get to all the places they need to go, new windows because that's a crucial foundation for everything else that needs to follow and affects where the new outlets will be, then wiring, then other things - what? you don't get to know all my upgrade plans...)
Point is, Barnett helped my anxiety over what it would cost, as a previous electrician told me it would cost tens of thousands of dollars (more than the mortgage loan on the house!),and I'd given up being able to upgrade the wring. With Barnet, yes, it's still costly, but it's achievable; thousands, not tens of thousands.
Then, my daughter had a wiring issue with an outlet that stopped working - the one to her washing machine. They came out and fixed it promptly and affordably, and in such a way that she wasn't anxious (covid, you know, and a fear of strangers in her house). They were professional and helpful and eased her fears and she'll call them when she has other wiring issues.
And now that my son has moved back local, he's been given a list of recommended repair services. Barnett is on that list.

Lofton was quick to answer all of my questions and quickly came out to give me an estimate regarding electrical repairs for a home I was looking to purchase. He was thorough in his inspection of the issues and was prompt with a detailed estimate and report. Thanks, Tri-L!

First I want to say the work was done correctly and they were professional in getting it done and explaining the process. However, to charge $49.00 for the trip charge and then $285.00 to fix a simple short in the outlet that actually took about 20 minutes was totally excessive in my view. There was an apprentice electrician that accompanied the one doing the work. I can't help but think I must have been paying for two people instead of the one electrician I called for. In their ad in the phone book it says they have the best prices in town! which I highly doubt. Anyway, it was a lesson learned....needless to say I won't be using Edge Electric again. If I needed electrical services, I will be checking home advisor and other places to find someone more reasonably priced.

We recently had a circuit breaker trip and cut power to several outlets. We flipped and reset all the breakers in the three electrical panels but this didn't correct the problem. We called Mr Electric. When he came out, their technician check our three electric panels to find the problem. After he was done he said the problem was in the panel made by Zinsco and these panels were serious fire hazards and his company therefore didn't try to fix them. He opened this panel but only made a cursory examination, nothing more. He then said the solution to our issue was an immediate removal of this panel and consolidating all three panels into a new single panel along with other upgrades and this would cost over $11,000. I accepted this and work was to begin the next day. That evening, at my wife's urging, I called and canceled the job in order to get another estimate. Another company came and reset the tripped breaker in the Zinsco panel and corrected the problem. This person said the Zinsco panels didn't constitute an imminent fire hazard and all our existing panels were safe.
I believe Mr Electric tried to scare us into spending thousands for unnecessary work by saying the Zinsco panel was an imminent hazard
