Great experience. The electrician was on time and got the work done very quickly. Even picked up a lighting fixture for me at no extra charge because it was not possible to get the part needed to fix the old one.

Would definitely recommend and will use them again if I need work done in the future.

Excellent experience with Mickhael. He fixed a electricity related problem I had for over a year because other two electricians I tried could not. He was also organized, pleasant to deal with and very professional.

These guys saved me on a Sunday. Our business lost power over the weekend and we needed to be open on Monday. The electrician met me early Sunday morning, spent the day tracing wires through our old building, and identified the problem. Somehow they found us a replacement part on a Sunday afternoon and got everything back running again. I was in a major bind and they were amazing - quick to respond, effective, and easy to communicate with.

Gaston Stephenson (the electrician) came the same day to inspect our panel, quickly gave us an estimate and replaced it with a few days. He was the only company that measured the existing panel so he could get a replacement that fit in the narrow wall space that our panel was located (everyone else only asked for pictures). He was professional, his prices fair and we would recommend him.

I just moved to the area and am so glad to have connected with John.  He was super quick to get back to my request and was able to fit me in on the weekend.  He and Mikey came prepared to work, and my light install ended up being a bigger project than we thought in an older co-op building.  Putting a light where there was none is no joke.  They ended up having to come back the next day to finish up, and I couldn't be happier.  They were a pleasure to have in my space, did lovely work, and John says he would even come back to do touch ups on the plaster work.  I'll definitely be calling them for future projects (easier ones I promise!).

Sadly, I do not recommend this company for complex jobs. For running wire, they ok. However, if the project involves Sheetrock work or any construction repair, choose another company with the expertise. Their cleanliness and care for their work area is very poor. One room they did, they didn't put down plastic or tarp and as a result, we had to have the hardwood floor done over. One of the more ridiculous issues we had was when we found my son's bed slats in a door frame, because they didn't have the proper materials. There are two other slats, only God knows where they are in our walls. I can go on and on, but to relive this ordeal is quite upsetting. Their only redeeming quality was that they were very nice people. If you choose this company definitely get references and pics.
And if Ganesh claims we're not in his area, I will post the checks and receipts for what work they did.

I reached out to Mike via Yelp on a Sunday for a power problem in my new apartment. He was very responsive, got on the phone with me, and walked me through what he thought the problem was. He was even willing to FaceTime me while I went down to the basement and found the route cause of the issue. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend working with him! I will be using him again in the future for any issues.

Called several times, left messages telling them I needed work done. Never heard a peep. At least call people back to tell them you are too busy.

Came same day to repair breakers, was fast and responsive. Chris did a great job and I will hire him again!

I will definitely call Eco Electrician for future needs. I just had an issue with my outlets blowing, and was troubleshooted through how to get them back on without requiring a home visit. All the other electricians I called previously quoted hundreds of dollars to come by and troubleshoot, and Eco Electrician just talked me through it quickly on the phone. Thank you!

They did a great job, fixed my hanging fixture quickly, great price, were accommodating and followed up!  Would definitely use again and recommend.

I'm so thrilled I found Ilya here on Yelp!  I texted him re: replacing an old ceiling fan/light combo with a new light fixture I recently bought, and after I sent him a picture of the fixtures, he arranged to come the following morning!  He was polite and knowledgable, got right to work and finished not even 30 minutes later :)  It wasn't cheap but definitely worth the money, and less than an electrical company here in Manhattan quoted me.  Thanks Ilya!

Eugene was great. To the point, responsive, and fast. The water valve to my toilet was corroded and he cut, soldered, and replaced it quickly.  Seriously quickly, I had barely gotten my daughter up from her nap and having a snack before he already had the water back on.  I had called another guy the week before and am still waiting on a response.  I called Eugene and he came in 1.5 hours, just like he said.  No 5 hour window!!! The price was not cheap but not outrageous either; it was fair.  He is in NYC, and he does deserve compensation for a job well done!

Needed help installing two 3-way light switches that kept tripping the breaker. Avi was able to come within a day. He diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed the issue. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend his services! Thank you, Avi!

Handymaam is everything you could ask for and more! She is able to walk through a repair with you, access the issue, and find the best solution for you and your home. I had handymaam remove my broken shower door and she did this with ease. I look forward to working with her again soon.

I called Roman this morning thinking he'd come some time next week to rewire our intercom system, but he said he had an opening today and came in a matter of hours. He was knowledgeable, personable and friendly... a combination I rarely find. Next time I need an electrician, Roman will be the first person I call!
