I scheduled and freely gave my downpayment. First, they changed the initial date, then they changed the time. When I waited for their arrival, they cancelled again and wouldn't reschedule my appointment for another 5 days. I had to call, actually, to discover they had cancelled. While I understand accidents happen, a no-show (especially when you take a half-day off from work) is simply rude. Was impressed they didn't hold onto my down-payment (you earned your star boys!)

As an interior designer, I am very familiar with the range of competence and customer service of contractors in this city.  Klodian is a breath of fresh air.

I hired Klodian to install some chandeliers and sconces after completing a renovation but after seeing him work, rehired him for more and more complex projects.  We are now troubleshooting the shoddy work of the previous contractor's electrician on a Lutron Homeworks low voltage automation system.  Klodian is clearly far smarter and more knowledgeable about his craft than most.

He is deliberate, clean and respectful and I trust him in the building, in my home and most importantly, in my clients' homes.  He is professional and accommodating, proactively finds solutions to unexpected problems and does everything he can to leave a job completed without charging extra.  Sometimes, the unexpected is too involved and the proposal needs to be revisited but, knowing the industry and the craft as I do, by the time this comes up, Klodian really has put in the time to exhaust every creative attempt and is being beyond reasonable.

Finally, Klodian is personable and a good guy.  These days, the value of that can't be understated.

I am a first time home owner so I have never had to deal with any type of contractor before. I was experiencing a fuse issue a month after moving into my co-op; and after comparing several companies I chose this one. Richie made the initial visit and spent several hours checking every outlet and gave me several ideas of what could be the problem. We came up with a game plan and he refused to charge me because he felt he didn't fix the problem. A few weeks later my fuse died altogether. I called Richie frantic at 830am, and Devin was at my apartment by 10am the same day. He was so meticulous and insisted on checking every outlet in the apartment. He was thorough and once he felt he diagnosed the problem he created a work around for me so he wouldn't have to open my walls until we were 100% sure of the problem. Even after all of this, they charged me an extremely reasonable amount. My co-op is very strict about contractors and required a ton of paperwork before they were allowed to come back and re-wire my apartment. Richie never complained and sent me everything I asked for. Devin then came at 9am on our scheduled date and did everything in his power to avoid causing too much damage to my walls. He was patient and described the whole process and options to myself and my super, never complaining about having to repeat himself. Even after spending hours drilling and working, Devin offered multiple times to clean up for me! Obviously I said no but I was grateful for the offer. I'm so grateful to have found this company. They were extremely reasonable in their pricing, honest throughout, and made this awful new homeownership experience so much easier.

Called on a Sunday and Mickhael responded the same day. Worked with me on the best available time for him to come. He fixed my stove hood lights in around 30 mins. I would definitely recommend him, as he is fast and efficient and knows what he is doing.

I needed two lights to be fixed, once the appointment time was set up, Antonio arrived and was very professional and super quick!

I had no power in my bedroom or office, and thanks to the work of other shoddy electricians I also had no power in my kitchen and bathroom. All hope seemed lost and I was cooking in 95° weather and no power anywhere going to my AC. These guys showed up after 1 hour of calling them on a Saturday afternoon, correctly identified which fuse was blown, and restored the partial power to my kitchen and bathroom. He also gave me insight into why the other rooms didn't have power - a former tenant had installed a ceiling light and fan and wired it all wrong. Overall a great experience, would use again!

Hitch is extremely honest, trustworthy and professional. He is very knowledgeable and completed a major electrical panel replacement over evenings and weekends to accommodate my schedule. He kept me informed throughout the process and educated on the work he was doing. I recommend him for any electrical work, big job or small.

I had a simple (or so I thought) job to install a light fixture. I called several electricians who quoted me what seemed like exorbitant rates, but Rick came through with a very reasonable $60. As it turns out the job wasn't so simple - my light fixture was blown and I had to get it rewired. Rick was very patient, explained just what I needed to get done, and then came back and did the actual installation when the fixture was fixed for free. Really quality service and I'll be relying on the Eco Electrician for all my electrical needs going forward!

Came to install 4 dimmer switches in my new apartment. Responded very quickly and even came the day before Thanksgiving to do it. They were very professional and worked quickly. Prices are comparable to others as well. Highly recommend.

After a week of chasing another electrician around Llya responded right away and was here the next morning first thing. He did the job quickly and for a fair price. So glad to have a contact for a fair and responsive electrician. Plan to work with him again soon.

Don is a great, kind, affordable, and efficient electrician. When we were looking for someone to install some lights and outlets and to repair some broken lights, we spoke with some other electricians whose estimates were exorbitant. Don was very fairly priced and was very flexible in scheduling with us. He did such a great job-- we have recommended him to all our family and friends in the neighborhood! It's great we found a knowledgeable electrician!

Great service!  Tim came within 3 hours of my phone call for help. He texted 1/2 before hand as a heads up that he was on his way. Tim was respectful of my house and took his shoes off as soon as he came in. My bathtub was clogged and after some snaking, a shampoo bottle cap came out.  Thanks again Zabivay.  Tim was professional and courteous. You guys deserved the 5 stars.

Lights in house were flickering, completely shutting off and on. Called in the morning and received a helpful tech within a few hours. Was able to change a switch and figured out what was causing the flickering. Nothing on our end and more of ConEdison, but they helped get in contact with ConEdison to make sure a service ticket was in place and on their way. Thanks again!

The Handyma'am team installed 7 new doorknobs in our apartment and mounted a shower curtain, and I'm going to be a forever fan. After doing a search for licensed electricians through angie's list and comparing it with the reviews here in Yelp, I chose Roman to handle the electrical job which involved changing voltages in my nyc apt.   I am so glad I chose Roman because he was prompt, trustworthy and courteous. And he kept his word with his quote and appointment.  I also met with Serafin, who came by on a weekend to make sure my job was done fast at a time that worked best for me. We tested everything and he even helped me understand how my apt was wired. He was punctual, honest, and really patient with all my many questions.  Just as impressive, they were the most affordable licensed expert from the exhaustive search I did on angie's list and yelp  - thank you guys! I normally don't write reviews but this one was worth it.
