Best Water Heater Leak Repair in Austin TX
Update: after placing this review FOX reached out to try to figure out what happened. After a few back and forths, they accused me of being a competitor. (Which I'm not) Then once my review went to the filtered section, they stopped responding to me. Classy.

The Rapalo family business did a great job with my broken shower pipe. Arrived the same day as my request, which was very impressive. Professional team. Jose is easy to work with and the crew did a nice job with the repair. I will hire them again as they can handle a variety of jobs.

Service calls are always a nail biting experience. But Efficient Air Conditioning sure lived up to their name. I called them in the morning to come have a look at my non-working air conditioning and they promised to be out that afternoon. Sure enough, I got my status call letting me know they were 30 minutes away from being at my front door. Again, how nice is that? Two fellas turned up, had a look and let us know it was just a tripped fuse in the attic and fixed it and were out of there within 30 minutes. Now the air is working and I can breathe easy.
I recommend them!!!

Danny of A List Handyman is by far and away the best handyman I have ever used. Not only is he experienced, professional, clean, efficient, and reasonably priced, he is also incredibly bright and creative, an expert craftsman and an artist. He will not only hang a picture, but he will be able to advise you on what height it should be hung at. He is meticulous in his work, whether he is painting, plastering, tiling or he is designing and building a piece of furniture. He is an excellent collaborator, providing his knowledge and expertise, without ego. No task is too small or too big, but if he feels there is a better person for the job because it will either save you money or time, he won't hesitate to pass the job along. I have worked with him now for three years on everything from changing lightbulbs and cabinet knobs to a full scale remodel and there is no one that I trust more with my home.

I feel a little taken advantage of! My husband requested they come out to give us an estimate to get a residential generator, and for that they would require $250(our fault for agreeing). Had never heard of this before, but my husband agreed to it. On the day he came I had a lot of questions, I thought he would at least have the answers and detailed explanations of how it worked. Most of which should have been answered over the phone and would have saved us $250. Also multiple questions I had, he did not seem to have the answers too. Save your $250 and call someone else!! He certainly was not an expert. And also did not even know what the product warranty was. For my $250 literally got a load test and that was about it. They know there is a demand (6 month waiting list) and can make a quick buck, oh yeah and want most of the money up front. Do your due diligence, ask if you will need another propane tank, ask how much that will cost, ask how much it will be to run existing line from a propane tank? My husband I guess read good reviews about other services they perform, but I promise you, save your $250, I agree with a previous post, ridiculous!!! All they do is sell you the generator and hook it up to house, they don't do anything else. Wish I could make that kind of money for doing nothing. Live and learn. Like I said, a few quick questions over the phone would have saved us $250. How would we know we would need a second propane tank( no way HOA would allow it), also a huge added expense on top of $16,000 he wanted. He could have asked this over the phone! Also make sure you have a place to put it and that they can get it there easily. Seems to me just an electric Company jumping on the band wagon of people desperate to get a generator and making a quick buck. Anyone that wants to charge you $250 to sell you something from $15,000-$17,000 should be your first clue. Just trying to save others from our bad decision :-(.

These guys did an OK install of a water heater (only two problems, both fixable my me) so I decided to try them on some duct work. I needed a new supply plenum and had a video chat with Ryan at the end of March. I climbed up in the attic, took a bunch of pictures, made some measurements, explained what I wanted done and asked for a quote. Though Ryan seemed a little distracted (not yet the busy season), I waited for a week before recontacting him. He said, Sorry I'll have that quote tomorrow. Five calls and six weeks later, each time with the message Someone will call you back today, I call again. Marcos, though the customer service agent (who never gives her name), says to tell me we will not bid on the job. Well thanks for nothing Marcos, Marcus, or how ever you name is spelled. You should have told me that back in March, before I crawled up in the attic and did all that work and now that's its too hot for anyone to be up in attic. No excuse for waiting 6 weeks to deliver that message. They seem to be just another hit or miss home repair company.

Is there a no star button? Had them come out and do a quote for my home. Had specific things on the list. In return I get a 23000K quote for things I didn't ask for and codes that I don't understand. Had to pay $89 for nothing! Never again! They are highway robbery

These guys tried to gouge me something fierce today. I had a leaky condensate pump, simple replacement of the pump was solution confirmed by the technician.
I looked up the part by model number on amazon, $45. He wanted $600 for the part and install. I politely asked him to breakdown the price of the repair for the part and labor, HE REFUSED! I asked him to show me the pump he was going to install, again HE REFUSED! He could not and would not justify his $600 price tag for this job.
I went to Lowe's, bought a replacement pump for $72, and it took all of 15 minutes to install (The technician quoted me 1.75 hrs for labor on this replacement) /facepalm.
I think he wanted me to pay him $300/hr to go watch Netflix in his truck!
