Best Electric Water Heater Repa… in Austin TX

Fox Service Company Electrician
We have a service contract with Fox Services for your HVAC units.  The units were pretty old and had begun to make more and more noise as they cycle on and off.  The technician gave us several options for repair/replace.  We chose to replace the units because of their age.  Fox had two crews out the next day to replace.  They were courteous and efficient.  They worked to get the units installed that day.  One unit had to be installed in the attic upstairs.  It was a tight fit, but the crew was able to get it through the small opening into the attic without damaging the opening or trim.  They were also very neat and cleaned up before they left.  I would recommend Fox Services.  They were professional and thorough.

Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing Electrician
I recently used 911 Electric to un install two chandeliers in my boss' home. He has already moved and I am on a very short time frame to get everything out of the house. 911 was great to schedule me quickly, arrived on time and Jason & Jeff were both very professional! They charged exactly what was quoted and left the home without any evidence they had ever been there. I definitely recommend 911 Electric if you need an electrician in the Austin area!!

I came home from work on a Thursday afternoon to find water bubbling up from the yard in what I assumed to be a sprinkler leak. Unfortunately, it turned out to be broken water main. This was likely caused by root movement from a nearby tree due to the recent rainfall. Obviously I had to shut off the water at the main valve.

You would think it would be easy to get a plumber out for a borderline emergency like this. I started calling plumbers about 7 am the next morning. I probably called ten places. Even the overflow plumbers referred by other places couldn't come out. Do these folks really think we're waiting out the weekend with no water? The only companies that could come out on Friday were 1st Plumbing and ARS.

I asked 1st Plumbing to come out for several reasons. First, they answer the phone. And not through some automated phone tree nightmare where they take 40 pieces of personal info before telling you they can't come out at a reasonable time. 1st Plumbing not only answered the phone, they let me talk to a plumber immediately. Second, it's clear they're used to doing a lot of emergency work. Check their hours of operation versus almost anyone else. Finally, they have more solid reviews of their service than ARS which, to be honest, doesn't have a great reputation.

Their guys came out when they said they would, actually a little early. They immediately diagnosed the problem and told me exactly how long it would take to fix. They finished the job sooner than they said. They were very professional. I'd love to say they were a bargain but that would be going too far. Based on the internet reference sites I visited, they charged, more or less, about the average rate for this particular repair. It's not cheap to have a broken water main repaired. Still, I have no qualms about the quality of their service. I would absolutely call them again if I had a plumbing emergency.

SALT Plumbing Air & Electric Electrician
Should have paid attention to the negative reviews. $79 show up fee - fair. Then $760 to change some pool wiring. I had other quotes in the $300 range, which seems ok for a 2 hour job. When I told them it was too much they magically found something they didn't need to do to lower the price to $660. Hmmm... Still more than $330 an hour to run some wire! Must be nice to make that kind of money. Can't comment on work quality because I opted to find someone else to hire.

If you want to be overcharged, then sit through a
sales pitch, these are your guys! Seems like technicians get commission, which is never a good model for honesty.
We paid $1000 to fill up Freon and it was
Not full (we stoped him from continuing). Obviously shocked, told because we have an older A/C unit. FYI....our house is 6 years old.
Called 2 other companies to see what they would have charged and were half the price.
Will NEVER use these people again. I would advise anyone to shop around first.
