Best Solar Panel Installation in Phoenix AZ
Aneva did the ground installation of the solar panels for us last summer. Yep, their crew worked smack in the middle of it. We do appreciate all the work the kids had done and it looks awesome and also produces a lot of energy.
We picked Aneva for the following reasons:
1. Sales guy Mark G is a pro. He looked at our house, consumption and offered a solution that fit us specifically. We did not even think of ground installation but it did turn out to be the best fit for us. When you have an expensive clay tile, installing solar panels on them is not an option- contrary to other contractors belief ;)
2. Crew is wonderful and worked their buts off in this heat. I had to work a lot and was not up to supervising but they really did not need to. Their PM even stopped showing up- but I am sure he would if you prefer more hands on experience.
3. We are getting a Lot of solar even though a tid bit of panels are in a shade in the morning. Aneva has a design person who works with your sales guy to come up with the great design for placement based on the lot or house.
Couple of things to share - hopefully informational and some are general solar related ;)
1. If you want solar and want to finance - use anything but solar financing.. it is predatory and usually comes at 20% upfront fee( yep still legal). We were explicitly told about it by the other bidder but would suggest to Mark to include this bit of info in the discussion.
2.probably would have done a bit more communication upfront as we had no idea what went into plans, approvals until I asked a day before the work started. It turned out great anyway;) and I would rather be hands off than on. bottom line is if you are more of a control freak - your sales guy and front desk are super responsive so just ask them.
3. Whoever was depositing checks along the way (4 payments I believe ) was above replying to emails. Again that's why Mark and front desk are there to help
4. Aneva has a special clean up guy!!! He is awesome and takes care of everything that PM could not
5. I think it takes some time to figure out but generator is really helpful on big ground jobs. Our outlets were not able to carry the needed load. So the crew rolled in one.
6. We had to replace the electric panel and the crew did it wonderfully. But picture having no electricity/ Wi-Fi for half a day in AZ summer...
7 Solar install is still quite expensive but electricity costs from the grid are not going down either. Although we are not completely independent we do enjoy with Aneva's help ;) -generating solar power, paying at this point almost nothing to APS and occasional enjoyment from virtue signaling to all the Prius and Tesla drivers ;) oh yes, and the fed tax refund too

We had an excellent experience. Ryan
helped us navigate many issues. You can trust him to advise, repair electrical issues and upgrade add devices. Honest and fair pricing!
We got estimates from a few other companies that tried to talk us into unnecessary expensive add ons.
Great customer service. Give this business an opportunity to service your electrical projects.

Look no further for a great, honest solar company. It is a family owned business and knows how to take care of their customers. John Sr. answered all my questions and had a proposal for my review in two days. John Jr. and his efficient crew came out on time on the scheduled start date and they had it completed in three days -- amazing work and attention to detail. They left our property clean which is always a sign of a business that takes pride in their work. They also helped us every step of the way coordinating with the electric company. Thank you Black Platinum Solar for helping us with our investment.

One of our neighbors had solar installed about a year ago by Sunny Energy so when we considered adding solar to our 2,700 square foot home in North Scottsdale we first spoke with our neighbor and then called the same sales person, Dave Vernon, at Sunny Energy.
We met with Dave Vernon back in June 2020 to learn about solar and to get a proposal. Dave was very responsive, professional, and above all - he was honest. No high pressure sales tactics.
We chose Sunny Energy and had 16 PV panels installed in late August 2020 by their installation crew which was 5 installers who also did the installation professionally and cleaned all areas around our home. The installers all had many years of experience and were not sub-contractors.
After the installation, we passed the City of Scottsdale and APS inspections. Our solar PV system went live on 9/2/2020 using 16 panels and Solar Edge inverter which communicates with our phone app and system monitoring.
The whole team at Sunny Energy had excellent communications and customer service. The project coordinator, Taylor, and others on our project team were very responsive, friendly, and informative. They let us know the progress of each step from start to finish.
FYI: we also looked at Tesla Solar but decided against Tesla after we looked at many concerning customer reviews about Tesla Solar's poor customer service.
We would recommend Sunny Energy.

We now have a negative (credit to us) APS bill.
The install guys were pretty decent and helpful with some post-install issues. I guess, in the end, our biggest gripe is with the fine folks at APS and the even more fine folks at the ACC who rubber stamp anything APS wants. "Smart meters" are a scam.

I moved in to SUn city after getting a divorce as a senior and wanted to put solar on the roof. I met Cary after speaking to several salesman and decided that Cary had the best price for me. The work was done. A year ago I contacted Cary and got some extra work done installing a mini split that helped even more. I would recommend galaxy solar to anybody because of the professionalism and care.

Solar City is the best solar company we used. They were incredible from start to finish. They have a great team of professionals that are knowledgeable and friendly. From the first contact to the final installation, Solar City was there with us every step of the way. They answered all of our questions and walked us through the entire process. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and highly recommend Solar City to anyone interested in going solar.

Very happy with Tommy and his crew's work on our home in Carefree. Friendly, dedicated, and super responsive. They've helped us run new lines for appliances and fix the mess that is our kitchen lighting setup. I'll continue to call them for any help we need.

Wow!! Thank you for installing my new roof!! The roofers were extremely respectful, communicative, and reliable. They stuck to the timeline we agreed upon and pricing was comparable to other companies. The difference with this company, that I haven't seen before, is there ability to communicate. With each step/day they asked if I had any concerns or questions and updated me on what was being done next. For me, I like to know what's going on and what time someone is going to show up... the worse part about other companies I've used is the lack of reliability and communication. Other companies just come and go as they please... playing loud inappropriate music, and not cleaning up after themselves. Truvo (Brad) was a breath of fresh air!! Thank you for taking such a big stress item off my mind!

They may as well be selling extended car warranties.
I was told 20 years at $100/month for a system. In that same quote, the total system code was over $27,000. When I questioned the monthly payment because it only adds up to $24,000, I was told that I would need to pay back the tax credit of almost $8,000. That's not how a tax credit works!
So the sales pitch turns into how I'm not solving my problem by not installing solar. I never said I have an energy problem. I'm looking for opportunities to offset my tax liabilities and the 26% tax credit is an ideal way. Tax credits don't magically go toward financing - they offset tax liability, reducing/eliminating the amount you owe at tax season (or increasing your refund).
Shady practices. This sort of stuff should really be spelled out in an estimate.
Zero trust in this company.

From the consultation to the install of my solar panels, Coyote Solar kept me updated the entire time! The consultation was very informative and the employees at Coyote Solar had an answer for every question I had about solar. I always thought solar was a huge investment, but after hearing about the no money down program with Coyote Solar, I couldn't say no to going solar! With Covid 19 affecting my income last year I needed to find anyway possible to save money, and going solar was the perfect choice. Since going solar, my summer electricity bills were cut in half and I am saving close to $49 a month on my average electricity bill. Thank you Coyote Solar! You definitely helped my family and I save some cheddar!!

We purchased our home in Arizona last year and we weren't considering to purchase solar - as it was an added cost. But Raymond sat with us more than once to explain the benefits and the rates for purchasing solar. Raymond processes a high level of expertise and you can tell that he loves his job! He's not only selling you the best product, he's educating as well. If you care about the environment and you want to save money on your electric bill, let Raymond tell you about solar and you too can save!

Overall my experience with Harmon Solar was... okay. I signed up with Harmon because they seemed to have a really good understanding of solar technology, government regulations, the solar market as a whole and came in at a really good price compared to competitors! All pluses! Ben was a really good sales associate and knew his stuff. There were some hiccups along the way but when they took action to get something done, they were usually fast at finishing the job. One of the problems was how much effort I had to put in to keep the process moving on my solar installation! For the first half of the project, there were times it felt like if I didn't call to follow-up, my project would stay stuck in limbo.
However, the most frustrating part of the process was the payment. Harmon Solar was using Sunrun panels but there was such poor communication between the two companies it was a task figuring out who and how to pay for the panels which only slowed down the process more!
In spite of all this, one reason I still call the experience "okay" is because of the project manager who took over my case half way through and was so helpful! Jessica was very responsive and consistently explained at what stage the project was and gave me updates on what was going on (even when it wasn't a status update Harmon Solar was proud of!) She was transparent and empathetic when there were delays or miscommunications from Harmon and was very personable. If she wasn't the project manager on this job, I might have called it quits and fought with Harmon to refund my down payment. She helped me see it through which salvaged some of the experience for me. Thanks Jessica!

The money that I'm going to have to spend to fix the damages to my house will not be made back for the money I save on the solar panels for a while. The first day that they came they had to rewire my outlet box and when they did the whole back part of my house didn't get electricity. They came back a second time that same day couldn't fix it so I had to wait until the next day for the electrician to come when she came they were here for hours the shelf of my closet got broken and at the end of the day they were able to get electricity to my bathroom and my master bedroom but not my second bedroom. I had A pack rat (they new that cuz i had traps up there incase i had more than one) when I first moved into my house a couple months before they came and they said that's what caused the electricity problem not the fact that they rewired my box wrong not the fact that they couldn't find where they put the wires to get to the electricity to the house so now I'm stuck with fixing everything and they never paid or fix the closet in my bedroom either. My electricity was fine before they came and they had problems getting my electricity back on in the whole back of my house I feel like they just got tired of working and just knocked my second bedroom off as it was my own problem to deal with.
I talk to somebody in charge in the Tucson are and he actually told me that they could not waste any more resources on trying to figure out my problem.
